Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of label management, and in particular, to a printed label, a label system, and a management method for a short shelf life commodity.
Background
More and more convenience stores provide great convenience for the life of people, and the commodity types of the convenience stores mainly comprise quick-service products, wherein the commodity shelf life of the food types is mostly between 6 and 9 months. The shelf life of the pastry food such as bread or the refrigerated food such as yoghurt is shorter, the pastry food belongs to the commodity with short shelf life, and the shortest shelf life is only 6 days. If the commodities with short shelf life cannot be sold completely within the shelf life, the convenience store can only destroy the commodities, so that huge resource waste is caused, and a small loss is caused for the convenience store.
Therefore, a convenience store generally promotes short-shelf-life commodities or expired commodities before the expiration date of the short-shelf-life commodities is reached, so that special price treatment is performed, and waste and loss are reduced to a certain extent. When such a sales promotion commodity is managed, the production lot of many identical commodities is not the same due to stock and stock, but the bar code or two-dimensional code of the commodity from the factory is the same or similar due to the identical commodity type, and no discount information is entered. Therefore, for different production batches, commodities with different shelf lives or expiration times cannot distinguish different discount information. Taking yogurt as an example, the closer to the expiration date the higher the discount. However, products such as yogurt are typically placed in stacks on shelves, and consumers are not able to carefully distinguish the distance from their expiration date and discount information at the time of purchase, so that it may happen that consumers want to purchase the most discounted pieces of merchandise, but the most discounted and less discounted pieces of the final selected product. In order to solve this problem, it is required that the clerk inputs related information of the commodity, particularly discount information, one by one in advance, and pastes the discount information on the short-term commodity or displays discount promotion information around the short-term commodity, so that the customer can know the information in time to select the commodity, and the discount information of the commodity can be correctly identified by the machine or the clerk at the time of checkout. This approach is laborious and expensive, especially for small items of merchandise, at a cost that is substantially unacceptable.
The matters in the background section are only those known to the inventors and do not, of course, represent prior art in the field.

FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of a printed label according to one embodiment of the present invention. The printed label is suitable for use with short shelf life or fast expiration products in convenience stores or supermarkets, and as shown, the printed label 100 includes: a machine code area 10 and a pattern set area 20, wherein the machine code area 10 is provided with a machine code 1, the machine code 1 comprises a bar code or a two-dimensional code generated on an outer package when the commodity is delivered, the machine code 1 is encoded with basic information of the commodity, and the basic information of the commodity generally comprises one or more of the name, price, code, batch, quantity, production date, production time, quality guarantee period, specification, weight, production place, grade and unit of the commodity. The machine code 1 is typically used for machine scanning and automatic identification and is not identifiable to the consumer. The pattern set area 20 is provided with pattern sets 2, the pattern sets 2 represent expiration dates of commodities, and in a period of n days, each day corresponds to one pattern set 2, and each day of pattern sets 2 are not identical to distinguish different batches of the same commodity, wherein n is more than or equal to 2. The pattern set 2 includes one or more of a pattern, a number, a letter, a chinese character, or a symbol. According to one embodiment of the present invention, n is a number of days per month, for example, n is 31, so that each day of each month corresponds to a different pattern set 2, so as to distinguish different expiration dates of the same commodity from batch to batch. Alternatively, n may be 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 or 2.
Those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that short shelf life in the present invention refers to short shelf life, e.g., less than 10 days, 5 days, or 3 days, short shelf life commercial products including, for example, but not limited to, fresh milk, staple food, vegetables, fruits, and the like. In addition, a short shelf life may also include a shelf life that will expire, for example, within 10 days, 5 days, or 3 days. These are all within the scope of the present invention.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the pattern set 2 is a combination of a pattern and a number, or a combination of a pattern and a letter. Specifically, fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of a pattern set according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in the figure, the pattern in the pattern set 2 is a playing card suit, and the pattern set 2 is composed of a playing card suit, letters and Chinese characters. Optionally, the patterns in the pattern set 2 are constellations. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the pattern is not limited to any pattern that can be clearly identified, as well as patterns that are shown in black and white or in color, the pattern itself or the pattern set 2 formed with a combination of one or more of the numbers, letters, characters or symbols, all falling within the scope of the present invention.
The printed label 100 shown in fig. 1 and 2 may be applied to a commodity in a convenience store or a mall supermarket. Because of the machine code included thereon, existing scanning and checkout equipment can automatically scan information identifying the item at checkout, obtaining discount and price information from the background. In addition, since the printed label 100 includes a pattern set, different patterns may correspond to different expiration dates, for example, so as to facilitate the resolution of the consumer and the selection of the corresponding merchandise. For example, for a store, a unified library of patterns may be provided, each pattern indicating a respective expiration date. For example, red peach indicates a date of expiration and two days, square indicates a date of expiration and three days, and plum indicates a date of expiration and four days. For the goods in the store, all the same rules are adopted, and after the consumer sees the printed label 100 on the goods, the consumer can quickly distinguish the expiration date and corresponding discount information.
The invention also relates to a label system 200, said label system 200 comprising one or more of said printed labels 100, said printed labels 100 being applied to one or more packages of goods. The printed label 100 is configured such that the printed label 100 at least partially covers the merchandise machine code provided on the merchandise package such that the merchandise machine code is not recognized by the cashier device. In this way, the original machine code of the commodity is replaced by the printed label 100 for checkout, and the problem that different prices cannot be distinguished due to different discount information when the same commodity is checked out is avoided.
The tag system 200 described above further includes an electronic tag 110, and fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of the electronic tag according to an embodiment of the present invention, and the electronic tag 110 will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 3. As shown in the drawing, the electronic tag 110 is configured to display the pattern set 2 or a part of information of the pattern set 2 (so that a customer can recognize that the pattern set 2 on the electronic tag 110 corresponds to the pattern set 2 on the printed tag 100), commodity price information 3, commodity discount information 4 corresponding to the pattern set 2, and the like. In addition, the electronic tag 110 may display one or more basic information of the commodity. In addition, the electronic tag 110 may also display detailed descriptions of various pattern sets, for example, red peach corresponds to a price of 5 folds, square corresponds to a price of 6 folds, black peach corresponds to a price of 7 folds, and plum blossom corresponds to a price of 8 folds. The electronic tag 110 may be generally disposed above the goods, and displays corresponding price information, discount information, pattern set description information, etc. thereon, so that consumers can quickly identify prices or discounts corresponding to various pattern sets when selecting the goods.
The electronic tag 110 has a data interface and may communicate with a store's server or control system, for example, via a data bus, which may control what is displayed on the electronic tag 110.
The invention also relates to a management method of the short-term security commodity, which comprises the following steps: the printed label 100 as described above is attached to the secured commodity according to the expiration date of the secured commodity. According to one embodiment of the invention, the set of patterns 2 on the attached label is the same for goods having the same expiration date.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the management method further comprises: according to the expiration date of the commodity, adjusting the price of the commodity, and sending the pattern set 2 corresponding to the expiration date and the adjusted price information 3 to the electronic tag 110 corresponding to the commodity; or adjusting the discount of the commodity according to the expiration date of the commodity, and sending the pattern set 2 corresponding to the expiration date and the adjusted discount information 4 to the electronic tag 110 corresponding to the commodity. The price information 3 of the commodity and/or the discount information 4 of the commodity on the electronic tag 110 should be updated in real time with the corresponding pattern set 2, so that the information is kept consistent. The pattern set 2 on the printed label 100 and the pattern set 2 or part of the information of the pattern set 2 on the electronic label 110 should also be kept consistent, so that the customer can identify the corresponding commodity price information 3 and commodity discount information 4 on the electronic label 110 according to the pattern set 2 or part of the information of the pattern set 2 on the printed label 100, so as to allow the customer to select the short-term security commodity.
The management method as described above further comprises a different pattern set 2 for each day according to a fixed order over a period of n days, the n pattern sets 2 again being cycled through said fixed order every n days. FIG. 4 shows a schematic round robin view of a pattern set according to one embodiment of the present invention. As shown, the round robin of the pattern set 2 is further described by taking n=7 as an example. Over a period of 7 days, for example, monday to sunday, each day corresponds to a different pattern set 2, specifically, pattern set 21, pattern set 22, pattern set 23, pattern set 24, pattern set 25, pattern set 26 and pattern set 27, respectively, in the order of monday to sunday. The pattern set 2 shown in fig. 4 is exemplified by a combination of playing card suit and number, respectively. Every 7 days, i.e. one week, 7 pattern sets 2 are again cycled through in the order monday to sunday. Since the speed of replacement of the short shelf life commodity is generally faster, the pattern set 2 can be recycled by the round robin method on the premise that the basic use of the pattern set 2 in one period of n days is satisfied and indistinguishable is not repeated, and a certain cost is saved in mass production of the printed label 100. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the pattern sets 2 in the printed label 100 may of course be all provided differently.
The invention provides a printed label, a label system and a management method of a commodity with a short shelf life, which are suitable for a commodity with a quick expiration or a commodity with a short shelf life in a convenience store. By the printing label, the label system and the management method, the checkout speed of the short-term security commodity in the store is accelerated, the time for promoting and managing the short-term security commodity is shortened, the efficiency of promoting and managing and the convenience of customers are improved, and the problems of inaccurate discount promoting information, inconsistent information and the like of the short-term security commodity are effectively avoided.
Finally, it should be noted that: the foregoing description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited thereto, but it is to be understood that modifications and equivalents of some of the technical features described in the foregoing embodiments may be made by those skilled in the art, although the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the foregoing embodiments. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc. made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention.
