Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of medical instruments, and particularly relates to an inflatable buccal device for oral cancer radiotherapy.
Background
Oral cancer refers to malignant tumor occurring in oral cavity, and belongs to common head and neck tumor. Radiotherapy is one of the effective treatment methods for oral cancer patients, and comprises radical radiotherapy for early oral cancer patients, adjuvant radiotherapy for middle and late stage patients, and palliative radiotherapy. In the process of radiotherapy, a mouth sucking device is needed to be used to separate and fix the palate and the tongue moving part, so that the palate or the tongue is in a long-term high dose area, and adverse reactions such as oral mucositis, dry mouth, taste disturbance and the like are avoided.
In current clinical practice, each medical unit usually adopts simple mouth-holding devices such as cork and tongue depressor for fixing mouth and tongue of patients with oral cancer, and is difficult to fit comfortably in proper size, namely, the position repeatability and the comfort of the patients. With the technical progress, the personalized buccal device can be made of common materials in orthodontic department, the precision and the comfort level are improved, but the buccal device is still difficult to popularize widely in clinic due to the consideration of labor, consumables and time cost. In addition, due to oral fixation, saliva swallowing is difficult for patients to complete, further increasing discomfort. Therefore, how to manufacture the mouth sucking device which is easy, individual and comfortable is very important.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above requirements, the invention provides a mouth piece for oral cancer radiotherapy, which can enable the tongue to be fixed and separated more easily, individually and comfortably.
The invention is realized by adopting the following technical scheme:
an inflatable buccal device for radiotherapy of oral cancer comprises a tongue depressor, an occlusion pad, an inner airbag and an outer airbag;
the tail part of the tongue depressor is bent and used for fixing the tongue root;
the occlusion pad is positioned at the front end of the tongue depressor, and the position of the occlusion pad can be adjusted according to the depth of the oral cavity of a patient so as to be attached to the upper and lower teeth of the patient;
the inner air bag is positioned right above the tongue depressor, can be repeatedly inflated and deflated, and is used for supporting the palate after being inflated;
the outer air bag is connected with the inner air bag through the inflation tube, and the outer air bag can be inflated through the injector, so that the inner air bag right above the tongue depressor is expanded to support the palate until the filling is good.
In the above technical scheme, further, the outer airbag is provided with an exhaust valve, which can be inflated and deflated, and can be repeatedly used according to conditions.
Furthermore, scales are arranged on the two sides and the middle of the tongue depressor, and can be used for determining the placement position and the depth of the tongue depressor each time and the occlusion position of the occlusion pad.
Furthermore, the tongue depressor comprises a tongue depressor upper blade, a tongue depressor hollow interior and a tongue depressor lower blade, wherein the tongue depressor hollow interior is filled with a water absorbing material; drainage side holes are also arranged at both sides of the tongue depressor and are used for absorbing saliva in the oral cavity; the upper part and the lower part of the tongue depressor can be opened, water-absorbing materials such as sponge, cotton balls and the like are filled in the hollow part of the tongue depressor, saliva is absorbed through the drainage side holes at the two sides, and the water-absorbing materials can be repeatedly filled and used.
The invention has the beneficial effects that:
the inflatable mouth sucking device is simple in structure and convenient to use, can be customized according to the size and the shape of the oral cavity of a patient, is soft and comfortable, and cannot damage the oral cavity. The scale and the inflation capacity of the tongue depressor are recorded, so that the tongue depressor can be used for confirming the position every time, and the positioning repeatability is ensured. In addition, the side drainage holes at the two sides of the tongue depressor can effectively absorb saliva, so that the cleanness and the comfort of the oral cavity of a patient are kept.

Detailed Description
The use of the mouthpiece in the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
An inflatable buccal device for radiotherapy of oral cancer comprises a tongue depressor 1, an occlusion pad 2, an inner airbag 3 and an outer airbag 4; the tail part of the tongue depressor 1 is bent and used for fixing the tongue root; the occlusion pad 2 is positioned at the front end of the tongue depressor 1, and the position of the occlusion pad 2 can be adjusted according to the requirement; the inner air bag 3 is positioned right above the tongue depressor 1, can be repeatedly inflated and deflated, and is used for supporting the palate after being inflated; the outer air bag 4 is connected with the inner air bag 3 through an inflation tube 7, and the inner air bag 3 can be inflated to support the palate by inflating the outer air bag 4; the tongue depressor 1 comprises a tongue depressor upper blade 8, a tongue depressor hollow interior 10 and a tongue depressor lower blade 9, wherein the tongue depressor hollow interior 10 is filled with water absorbing materials such as sponge, cotton balls and the like; and drainage side holes 6 are arranged on two sides of the lower blade 9 of the tongue depressor and are used for absorbing saliva in the oral cavity. The outer airbag 4 is provided with an exhaust valve, can be inflated and deflated, and can be repeatedly used according to conditions. And the two sides and the middle of the tongue depressor are provided with graduated scales 5.
Referring to figure 1, which is a mouthpiece before use, the inner bladder 3 is vacuum and gas free. When in use, the patient is relaxed firstly, the tongue is unfolded and placed in the middle of the oral cavity, then the tail part of the tongue spatula 1 is used for fixing the tongue root, and the middle graduated scale 5 of the tongue spatula is aligned with the nasolabial sulcus. And the occlusion pad 2 in front of the tongue depressor is pushed to the incisors of the patient, so that the upper and lower teeth of the patient are closed, and the buccal device is fixed by the occlusion pad 2. The graduations of the tongue depressor 1 and bite pad 2 at the incisors are recorded. The position is correct when convenient for next used repeatedly, accomplishes accurate radiotherapy.
After the buccal device is fixed, the injector is used for pumping gas outwards through the outer air bag 4 to ensure the vacuum of the inner air bag 3. Then, the outer balloon 4 is connected with a 50ml syringe, the inner balloon 3 is inflated through the inflation tube 7, and the internal structure of the upper leaf of the tongue depressor is shown in FIG. 4. Until the pressure of the inner bladder 3 filling can support the palate and the patient's oral muscles relax. The inflation capacity is recorded, so that the shape is consistent when the inflation capacity is repeated next time, and the error is reduced. The full buccal device is shown in figure 2.
In order to absorb saliva in the oral cavity, the upper blade 8 of the tongue depressor can be opened before the buccal device is used, and then the hollow interior 10 of the tongue depressor is filled with water absorbing materials, such as sponge, cotton balls and the like, and the buccal device with the upper blade and the lower blade of the tongue depressor opened is shown in figure 3. The lower leaf of the tongue depressor is shown in figure 5. When the buccal device is used, saliva is absorbed through the drainage side holes 6 at the two sides.
After the radiotherapy is finished, the injector is used for pumping gas from the outer air sac 4 to the outside until the inner air sac 3 is vacuumized. Then the buccal device is taken out and disinfected, so that the buccal device is convenient to use next time. And the scale and the inflation capacity of the tongue depressor 1 are recorded well and used for position confirmation every time, so that the positioning repeatability is ensured.
