Abstract

A buffering hinge comprises a fixed seat, a cam shaft which is fixedly arranged on the fixed seat and comprises a cam part, a movable seat which is pivoted on the cam shaft, and a damping unit. The cam portion has an outer contour surface and the camshaft has a center point, and a radius of curvature is definable between the outer contour surface and the center point. The damping unit includes a damping follower movably provided to the movable seat and abutted against the outer contour surface. When the movable seat rotates from a first door-opening position to a door-closing position, the curvature radius of a contact portion between the damping follower and the outer contour surface continuously increases, and the resistance between the damping follower and the outer contour surface continuously increases. When the movable seat rotates from the first door-opening position to the second door-opening position, the radius of curvature at the contact point of the damping follower and the outer contour surface is kept constant, and the resistance between the damping follower and the outer contour surface is kept constant.

Description

Buffering hinge
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a hinge, and more particularly, to a buffering hinge.
Background
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, a conventional buffering hinge installed between a door frame 5 and a door panel 6 includes a fixed seat 1 installed on the door frame 5, a resistance shaft 2 fixedly installed on the fixed seat, a movable seat 3 pivotally installed on the resistance shaft 2 and connected to the door panel 6, and an oil hydraulic cylinder 4 installed on the movable seat 3.
This resistance axle 2 includes two cylinder ends 201 that are fixed in this fixing base 1, and one connect in resistance portion 202 between cylinder ends 201, this resistance portion 202 has two horizontal resistance faces 203 that set up relatively, and two circular arc resistance faces 204 that set up relatively, this resistance axle 2 and have a central point 205, and the radius of curvature of each circular arc resistance face 204 to this central point 205 is fixed size.
The movable seat 3 includes an arm portion 301, and a door panel holding portion 302 connected to the door panel 6, the arm portion 301 having a pivot hole 303 through which the resistance shaft 2 passes, and a mounting hole 304 communicating with the pivot hole 303. The hydraulic cylinder 4 has a cylinder body 401 movably disposed in the mounting hole 304 and contacting the resistance portion 202, a piston rod 402 disposed in the cylinder body 401, a compression spring 403 abutting between the piston rod 402 and the cylinder body 401, and a nut 404 screwed into the mounting hole 304 and abutting against an outward end of the piston rod 402.
Thus, as shown in fig. 4, 5 and 6, an opening angle α can be defined between the door panel 6 and the door frame 5, the opening angle α is 90 ° when the door panel 6 is in a normal door opening position (see fig. 5), the opening angle α is 0 ° when the door panel 6 is in a door closing position (see fig. 3), and the opening angle α is 180 ° when the door panel 6 is in a maximum door opening position (see fig. 8). When the door panel 6 is rotated from the normal door opening position (see fig. 5) to the door closing position (see fig. 3), during the process of the opening angle α changing from 90 ° to 20 °, it can be seen that the distance between the front end of the cylinder 401 and the center point 205 of the resistance shaft 2 is continuously increased from 2.5mm to 7.5mm, that is, during the process of the opening angle α changing from 90 ° to 20 °, the amount of the compression spring 403 being compressed is continuously increased, so as to generate a damping effect with a larger and larger resistance to the door closing force (such as the force applied by the user or the external wind force) applied to the door panel 6.
However, as shown in fig. 3, 4 and 6, during the process of changing the opening angle α from 20 ° (see fig. 6) to 0 ° (see fig. 3), since the cylinder 401 is in contact with one of the circular arc resistance surfaces 204 with a fixed radius of curvature, the distance between the front end of the cylinder 401 and the center point 205 of the resistance shaft 2 is kept at 7.5mm, and is not increased any more, in other words, during the process of changing the opening angle α from 20 ° to 0 °, the amount of compression of the compression spring 403 is not increased any more, and cannot generate any further buffer effect on the door closing force applied to the door panel 6, so that if the door closing force applied to the door panel 6 is large, the door panel 6 still collides with the door frame 5 at the moment the door is closed, and generates a noticeable noise.
In addition, as shown in fig. 5, 7 and 8, when the user rotates the door panel 6 from the normal door opening position (see fig. 5) to the maximum door opening position (see fig. 8) for the convenience of entering and exiting, in the process of changing the opening angle α from 90 ° to 180 °, it can be seen that the distance between the front end of the cylinder 401 and the central point 205 of the resistance shaft 2 is continuously increased from 2.5mm to 7.5mm, that is, in the process of changing the opening angle α from 90 ° to 180 °, the amount of compression of the compression spring 403 is continuously increased, which generates an increasingly large resistance to the door opening force applied to the door panel 6 by the user, and causes the user to take great effort to smoothly rotate the door panel 6 to the maximum door opening position, thereby causing a trouble in use.

As shown in fig. 10, 11 and 12, the fixing base 10 includes a fixing plate portion 11 and two ear portions 12 disposed at intervals along a height direction Z on the fixing plate portion 11, the fixing plate portion 11 is adapted to be connected to the door frame 200, and each ear portion 12 has a through hole 121.
The camshaft 20 is fixedly disposed on the fixing base 10, and includes a cam portion 21 and two connecting end portions 22 respectively extending from two opposite ends of the cam portion 21 in the height direction Z. The connection end portions 22 respectively penetrate the through holes 121 of the ear portions 12 and are respectively fixed to the ear portions 12.
As shown in fig. 13, the cam portion 21 has an outer contour surface 211, the camshaft 20 has a center point 23, and a radius of curvature R can be defined between any point on a cross section of the outer contour surface 211 of the cam portion 21 and the center point 23.
As shown in fig. 10, 11 and 12, the movable seat 30 is pivotally disposed on the camshaft 20, and includes an arm portion 31, and a door panel holding portion 32 disposed on the arm portion 31, the door panel holding portion 32 is adapted to be connected to the door panel 300, the arm portion 31 has a pivot hole 311 extending along the height direction Z, and a mounting hole 312 extending along the radial direction and communicating with the pivot hole 311, the pivot hole 311 is disposed between the through holes 121 of the ear portion 12 in the height direction Z, and the camshaft 20 passes through the pivot hole 311 along the height direction Z. In the present embodiment, the mounting hole 312 has a straight hole section 313 and a screw hole section 314 connected to the straight hole section 313.
As shown in fig. 11, 15 and 18, the movable seat 30 is capable of rotating relative to the cam shaft 20 between a closed door position (see fig. 11), a first open door position (see fig. 15) and a second open door position (see fig. 18), wherein the opening angle θ gradually decreases when the movable seat 30 rotates from the first open door position to the closed door position, and gradually increases when the movable seat 30 rotates from the first open door position to the second open door position. In this embodiment, the included angle θ of the opening degree is 0 ° when the movable seat 30 is in the door-closed position, 90 ° when the movable seat 30 is in the first door-open position, and 180 ° when the movable seat is in the second door-open position.
As shown in fig. 10, 11 and 12, the damping unit 40 is disposed on the movable seat 30 and includes a damping follower 41 movably disposed on the movable seat 30 and facing the outer contour surface 211, a piston rod 42, an elastic element 43, and an external thread nut 44.
The damping follower 41 abuts against the outer contour surface 211, and in the present embodiment, the damping follower 41 is a cylinder, and is movably provided in the straight hole section 313 of the mounting hole 312, and hydraulic oil is filled in the damping follower 41.

The elastic element 43 is abutted between the damping follower 41 and the piston head 421, and the elastic element 43 has a potential to urge the damping follower 41 to move toward the cam portion 21 and abut against the outer contour surface 211. In the present embodiment, the elastic element 43 is a compression spring.
The external thread nut 44 is screwed into the screw hole section 314 of the mounting hole 312 and abuts against an end of the piston rod 422 opposite to the piston head 421, it can be understood that screwing or unscrewing the external thread nut 44 can change the pre-load amount of the piston rod 42 on the elastic element 43, and can adjust the magnitude of the damping resistance generated by the damping unit 40.
As shown in fig. 11, 14 and 15, when the movable seat 30 rotates from the first door-open position (see fig. 15) to the door-closed position (see fig. 11), the radius of curvature R at the contact point of the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 continuously becomes larger, so that the resistance between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 continuously increases. The radius of curvature R at which the damping follower 41 contacts the outer contour surface 211 is at a minimum Rmin (see fig. 13) and the resistance between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is at a minimum when the sliding seat is in the first door-open position (see fig. 15), and the radius of curvature R at which the damping follower 41 contacts the outer contour surface 211 is at a maximum Rmax (see fig. 13) and the resistance between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is at a maximum Rmax when the sliding seat is in the door-closed position (see fig. 11).
As shown in fig. 15, 17 and 18, when the movable seat 30 rotates from the first door-open position (see fig. 15) to the second door-open position (see fig. 18), the radius of curvature R at the contact point of the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 remains constant, and the resistance between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 remains constant. When the movable seat 30 is in the second door-open position (see fig. 18), the radius of curvature R where the damping follower 41 contacts the outer contour surface 211 is also the smallest Rmin (see fig. 13), and the resistance between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is also the smallest.
Accordingly, as shown in fig. 14, 15 and 16, when the door panel 300 drives the movable seat 30 to rotate from the first door-opening position (see fig. 15) to the door-closing position (see fig. 11), during the opening angle θ changes from 90 ° (see fig. 15) to 20 ° (see fig. 16), it can be seen that the curvature radius R at the contact position of the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is continuously increased, so that the distance between the front end of the damping follower 41 and the central point 23 of the cam shaft 20 is continuously increased from 2.5mm to 6.1mm, that is, during the opening angle θ changes from 90 ° to 20 °, the amount of compression of the elastic element 43 is continuously increased, so that the damping unit 40 can generate a damping effect with an increasingly large resistance to the door-closing force (such as the force applied by the user or the external wind force), and more importantly, as shown in fig. 11, 14. 16, since the curvature radius R of the contact portion between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 continuously increases to the maximum Rmax (see fig. 13) during the process of changing the opening angle θ from 20 ° (see fig. 16) to 0 ° (see fig. 11), the distance between the front end of the damping follower 41 and the center point 23 of the cam shaft 20 also continuously increases from 6.1mm to 7.1mm, in other words, the amount of compression of the elastic element 43 also continuously increases during the process of changing the opening angle θ from 20 ° to 0 °, so as to generate a further buffering effect on the door closing force applied to the door panel 300, thereby preventing the door panel 300 from colliding with the door frame 200 at the moment of door closing to generate significant noise.
In addition, as shown in fig. 15, 17 and 18, when the user rotates the movable seat 30 from the first door-open position (see fig. 15) to the second door-open position (see fig. 18) by using the door panel 300 for easy access, during the process of the angle of opening θ changing from 90 ° (see fig. 15) to 180 ° (see fig. 18), it can be seen that the radius of curvature R at the contact point of the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is kept at the minimum Rmin (see fig. 13), so that the distance between the front end of the damping follower 41 and the central point 23 of the cam shaft 20 is kept at 2.5mm, that is, during the process of the angle of opening θ changing from 90 ° to 180 °, the amount of compression of the elastic element 43 is not increased any more, and no greater resistance is generated to the door-open force applied to the door panel 300 by the user, so that the user only needs to apply a proper force, the door 300 can be easily rotated to the second door-open position.
From the above description, the advantages of the present invention can be summarized as follows:
firstly, according to the present invention, by utilizing the design of the outer contour surface 211 of the cam portion 21, when the door panel 300 drives the movable seat 30 to rotate from the first door-opening position (see fig. 15) to the door-closing position (see fig. 11), in the process of changing the opening angle θ from 90 ° to 0 °, the curvature radius R at the contact position between the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is continuously increased from Rmin (see fig. 13) to Rmax (see fig. 13), so that the amount of compression of the elastic element 43 is continuously increased, compared to the prior art, in the process of changing the opening angle θ from 90 ° to 0 °, the present invention can generate a continuously increased damping force on the door-closing force applied to the door panel 300, so as to effectively avoid the door panel 300 colliding with the door frame 200 at the moment of door closing, and generating obvious noise.
Secondly, the present invention utilizes the design of the outer contour surface 211 of the cam portion 21, when the door panel 300 drives the movable seat 30 to rotate from the first door-opening position (see fig. 15) to the second door-opening position (see fig. 18), in the process of changing the opening angle θ from 90 ° to 180 °, the curvature radius R at the contact position of the damping follower 41 and the outer contour surface 211 is kept at the minimum Rmin (see fig. 13), and the amount of compression of the elastic element 43 is not continuously increased, compared to the prior art, in the process of changing the opening angle θ from 90 ° to 180 °, the present invention does not generate increasingly larger resistance to the door-opening force applied to the door panel 300 by the user, but keeps at the minimum resistance, so that the user can easily rotate the door panel 300 to the second door-opening position.
In summary, the buffering hinge of the present invention can not only generate the buffering force continuously increasing to the maximum for the door closing force applied to the door panel when the door is closed, so as to avoid the door panel from colliding with the door frame at the moment of door closing, thereby generating noise, but also allow the user to easily open the door panel from the opening angle of 90 ° to the opening angle of 180 ° with the minimum resistance, thereby achieving the object of the present invention.
