Abstract

Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of electronic devices, and particularly, to an electronic device and a display screen installation method.
Background
With the development of electronic device technology, people are pursuing large-screen electronic devices, which has higher and higher requirements on the screen occupation ratio of the electronic devices. In order to improve the screen occupation ratio of the electronic device, a person skilled in the art reduces the occupied area of functional components such as a front camera, a sensor, a receiver, an earphone and the like on the display surface of the electronic device on one hand, and sets the frame of the electronic device to be narrower and narrower on the other hand, so that a curved screen with no frame and radians on two sides is formed on the display surface of the electronic device.
In the curved screen, there is a waterfall screen directly covering the electronic device frame, and when the waterfall screen is assembled on the middle frame according to the traditional assembly method, the side of the screen is easy to scrape the gum on the middle frame.

Correspondingly, an embodiment of the present application provides a display screen installation method of the electronic device, including:
providing the middle frame, the display screen and at least one filling piece;
disposing one of said filling members on one of said curved surface portions;
and assembling the display screen provided with the filling piece on the middle frame.
In addition, an embodiment of the present application further provides a display screen installation method, including:
providing a carrier, a display screen and at least one filling piece, wherein the carrier comprises a main body part and an installation part arranged on the periphery of the main body part, the display screen comprises a plane part and a curved surface part, the filling piece is provided with a first surface, and the first surface is of a plane structure;
disposing one of said filling members on one of said curved surface portions with said first face remote from said curved surface portion;
assembling the display screen provided with the filler member to the carrier.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions better understood by those skilled in the art, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The embodiment of the application provides electronic equipment. The electronic device may be a smart phone, a tablet computer, or other devices, and may also be a game device, an AR (Augmented Reality) device, an automobile device, a data storage device, an audio playing device, a video playing device, a notebook computer, a desktop computing device, or other devices.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The electronic device 10 may include a display screen 100, a cover plate 200, a middle frame 300, a circuit board assembly 400, a battery 500, and a rear cover 600. It is understood that the structure of the electronic device 10 provided in the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto, and may further include other components, for example, the electronic device 10 may further include one, two or more of a front camera module, a rear camera module, a flash, a fingerprint unlocking module, and the like, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto.
The display screen 100 may be mounted on the middle frame 300 to form a display surface of the electronic device 10. The display screen 100 serves as a front case of the electronic device 10, and forms a housing of the electronic device 10 together with the rear cover 600, for accommodating other electronic elements or functional components of the electronic device 10. Meanwhile, the display screen 100 forms a display surface of the electronic device 10 for displaying information such as images, texts, and the like. Display screen 100 may be a touch screen display incorporating conductive capacitive touch sensor electrode layers or other touch sensor components (e.g., resistive touch sensor components, acoustic touch sensor components, force-based touch sensor components, or light-based touch sensor components, etc.), or may be a non-touch sensitive display. Capacitive touch screen electrodes may be formed from an array of indium tin oxide pads or other transparent conductive structures.
The Display screen 100 may include an array of Display pixels formed from Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) components, an array of electrophoretic Display pixels, an array of plasma Display pixels, an array of Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) pixels, an array of electrowetting Display pixels, or an array of Display pixels based on other Display technologies.
In some embodiments, the display screen 100 may include a display area and a non-display area. Wherein the display area performs a display function of the display screen 100 for displaying information such as images, text, and the like; the non-display area does not display information and can be used for setting functional components such as a camera and a display screen touch electrode.
In some embodiments, the display screen 100 may be a full-screen display, as shown in fig. 2, and fig. 2 is a second structural schematic diagram of an electronic device provided in the embodiments of the present application. At this time, the display screen 100 may display information in full screen, so that the electronic device 10 has a larger screen occupation ratio. The display screen 100 includes only a display region and does not include a non-display region, or the non-display region has a small area for a user. In this case, functional components such as a camera and a proximity sensor in the electronic device 10 may be hidden under the display screen 100, and the fingerprint identification module of the electronic device 10 may be disposed on the back of the electronic device 10 or also hidden under the display screen 100.
The cover plate 200 may be mounted on the middle frame 300, and the cover plate 200 covers the display screen 100 to protect the display screen 100 from being scratched or damaged by water. The cover 200 may be a transparent glass cover, so that a user can see the contents displayed on the display screen 100 through the cover 200. In some embodiments, the cover plate 200 may be a glass cover plate of sapphire material. It is understood that the electronic device 10 may not include the cover plate 200.
The middle frame 300 may have a thin plate-like or sheet-like structure, or may have a hollow frame structure. The middle frame 300 is used for providing a supporting function for the electronic components or functional assemblies in the electronic device 10, so as to mount the electronic components or functional assemblies in the electronic device 10 together. For example, functional components of the electronic device 10, such as a camera, a receiver, the display screen 100, the circuit board assembly 400, and the battery 500, may be mounted on the middle frame 300 for fixation. In some embodiments, the material of the middle frame 300 may include metal or plastic.
The circuit board assembly 400 may be mounted on the middle frame 300. The circuit board assembly 400 may be a motherboard of the electronic device 10. A ground point is provided on the circuit board assembly 400 to achieve grounding of the circuit board assembly 400. One, two or more of a microphone, a speaker, a receiver, an earphone interface, a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, a camera, a distance sensor, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, and a processor and a memory may be integrated on the circuit board assembly 400. Meanwhile, the display screen 100 may be electrically connected to the circuit board assembly 400.
In some embodiments, a display control circuit is disposed on the circuit board assembly 400 and outputs electrical signals to the display screen 100 to control the display screen 100 to display information.
The battery 500 may be mounted on the middle frame 300. Meanwhile, the battery 500 is electrically connected to the circuit board assembly 400 to enable the battery 500 to power the electronic device 10. Among other things, the circuit board assembly 400 may have disposed thereon a power management circuit for distributing the voltage provided by the battery 500 to various electronic components in the electronic device 10.
The rear cover 600 is used to form the outer contour of the electronic device 10. The rear cover 600 may be integrally formed. In the forming process of the rear cover 600, a microphone hole, a speaker hole, a receiver hole, an earphone hole, a USB interface hole, a rear camera hole, a fingerprint identification module mounting hole, and the like may be formed on the rear cover 600.
In some embodiments, the rear cover 600 may be a metal housing, such as a metal of magnesium alloy, stainless steel, or the like. It should be noted that the material of the rear cover 600 provided in the embodiment of the present application is not limited to this, and other materials may also be used. For example, the rear cover 600 may be a plastic housing. As another example, the rear cover 600 may be a ceramic case. Also for example, the rear cover 600 may include a plastic part and a metal part, and the rear cover 600 may be a housing structure in which metal and plastic are fitted to each other. Specifically, the metal part may be formed first, for example, a magnesium alloy substrate is formed by injection molding, and then plastic is injected on the magnesium alloy substrate to form a plastic substrate, so as to form a complete housing structure.
It should be noted that, with the development of electronic device technology, people have higher and higher requirements on screen occupation of electronic devices, and the frame of the electronic device is also required to be narrower and narrower while the area occupied by the functional components such as the front camera, the sensor, the receiver, and the receiver on the display surface of the electronic device is required to be reduced, so that a curved screen with no frame and two radians on two sides of the display surface of the electronic device appears. In the curved screen, there is a waterfall screen directly covering the electronic equipment frame, and in the waterfall screen, there is a screen whose curved arc is greater than a quarter of arc, called as a back-off screen. The display screen 100 in the embodiment of the present application is just a kind of "flip-flop screen".
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a display screen in an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and fig. 4 is a partially enlarged view of a portion a in fig. 3. The display screen 100 may have a display side and a non-display side. The display surface of the display screen 100 is a surface that can be viewed from the outside, and the non-display surface of the display screen 100 is a surface that cannot be viewed from the outside. Alternatively, the display surface of the display screen 100 is located on the outer surface of the electronic device 10, and the non-display surface of the display screen 100 is located inside the electronic device 10.
The display screen 100 may include a planar portion 110 and a curved portion 120. The curved surface portion 120 is located on both sides of the planar portion 110 in the width direction, or the curved surface portion 120 extends outward from both side edges of the planar portion 110 in the width direction. It is understood that the "width direction" is a lateral direction of the display screen when the user normally uses the electronic device 10.
The planar portion 110 may have a planar structure, and the curved portion 120 may have a curved structure. The curved surface portion 120 is curved toward the non-display surface of the display screen 100, and the central angle corresponding to the curved surface portion 120 is greater than 90 °. That is, the cross section of the curved surface portion 120 is larger than a quarter of a circular arc.
It should be noted that the structure of the display screen 100 in the embodiment of the present application is not limited to this, and other embodiments are also possible. For example: the plane part 110 may not be a plane structure, but may form a curved surface structure similar to a curved surface screen lcd tv; the central angle of the curved surface portion 120 may also be no greater than 90 °, so that the display screen 100 forms a conventional "waterfall screen" rather than a "flip-up screen".
Referring to fig. 5 and fig. 6, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a middle frame of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and fig. 6 is a partially enlarged view of a portion B in fig. 5. The middle frame 300 may include a body portion 310 and a mounting portion 320. The mounting portions 320 are located at both sides of the main body portion 310 in the width direction, or the mounting portions 320 are extended outward from both side edges of the main body portion 310 in the width direction. It is understood that the "width direction" is a lateral direction of the display screen when the user normally uses the electronic device 10.
The main body 310 may have a planar structure, and the mounting portion 320 may include a first branch 321 and a second branch 322. The first branch 321 is fixedly connected with the main body 310, in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300, the side surface of the first branch 321 facing the display screen 100 is lower than the side surface of the main body 310 parallel to the display screen 100, and a first step 331 is formed between the first branch 321 and the main body 310; the second portion 322 is fixedly connected to the first portion 321, a side of the second portion 322 facing the display screen 100 is lower than a side of the first portion 321 facing the display screen 100 in a thickness direction of the middle frame 300, and a second step 332 is formed between the second portion 322 and the first portion 321. That is, the main body 310 is thicker than the first division 321, the first division 321 is thicker than the second division 322, and the second division 322, the first division 321, and the main body 310 form a continuous step therebetween. It is understood that the side of the first section 321 facing the display screen 100 and the side of the second section 322 facing the display screen 100 may be parallel to the display screen 100 or not parallel to the display screen 100.
In the present embodiment, the structure of the frame 300 is not limited to this, and other embodiments are possible. For example, if the side surface of the first sub-portion 321 facing the display panel 100 and the side surface of the main body portion 310 parallel to the display panel 100 are parallel to each other in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300 and have the same height, the first step 331 does not exist between the first sub-portion 321 and the main body portion 310, or the first sub-portion 321 and the main body portion 310 are integrally formed, and only the second sub-portion 322 protrudes from the main body portion 310 in the width direction of the middle frame 300.
It should also be noted that the above-mentioned terms "first", "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, features defined as "first", "second", may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the described features.
Referring to fig. 7 and 8 together, fig. 7 is a sectional view of the display panel and the middle frame of fig. 2 taken along a direction P1-P1, and fig. 8 is a partially enlarged view of a portion C of fig. 7. The electronic device 10 may also include a filler 700.
When the display screen 100 is mounted on the middle frame 300, the curved surface portion 120 of the display screen 100 covers the mounting portion 320 of the middle frame 300, the first step 331 and the second step 332 form a gap 710 between the display screen 100 and the middle frame 300, and the filling member 700 is disposed in the gap 710.
If the side of the first division 321 facing the display screen 100 is lower than the side of the main body 310 parallel to the display screen 100 in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300, the gap 710 includes a first step 331 and a second step 332, and the filling member 700 is substantially "L" -shaped; if the side surface of the first division 321 facing the display panel 100 and the side surface of the main body 310 parallel to the display panel 100 are parallel to each other in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300 and have the same height, the gap 710 includes only the second step 332, and the filling member 700 is substantially "I" shaped.
The filling member 700 has an inner surface and an outer surface, and the filling member 700 may be fixedly connected to the display screen 100 and the middle frame 300 by an adhesive or a glue layer 720. The outer surface of the filling member 700 is fixedly connected to the curved surface portion 120 of the display screen 100, and the inner surface of the filling member 700 is fixedly connected to the mounting portion 320 of the middle frame 300. The filling member 700 is fixedly connected to the curved surface portion 120 of the display screen 100 through a first adhesive tape or adhesive dispensing layer 721, and the filling member 700 is fixedly connected to the mounting portion 320 of the middle frame 300 through a second adhesive tape or adhesive dispensing layer 722.
The filling member 700 may be made of plastic. It should be noted that the material of the filling member 700 provided in the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto, and other materials may be used. For example, the filling member 700 may be made of metal, such as magnesium alloy, stainless steel, etc. For another example, the filling member 700 may be made of glass. For another example, the filling member 700 may include a plastic part and a metal part, and the filling member 700 may be a structure in which an inner layer of metal and an outer layer of plastic are matched with each other to enhance the strength of the filling member 700.
Compared with the traditional screen assembling mode, when the curved screen with large curvature is assembled on the middle frame, the screen gum is easily scraped by the protruded middle frame. In the embodiment of the application, the installation space of the screen is reserved by arranging the steps through the installation part of the middle frame, and the gap generated by the steps is filled with the filling piece, so that the situation that the screen gum is scraped when the large-curvature curved screen is assembled on the middle frame can be avoided, and the screen assembly effect and the screen assembly efficiency are improved.

the display screen, the display screen install in on the center, the display screen includes plane portion and curved surface portion, plane portion sets up on the main part, curved surface portion passes through the filler sets up on the installation department.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the arc of the cross-section of the curved surface portion corresponds to a central angle greater than 90 °.
3. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the filler has a second surface connected to the curved surface portion, and the second surface is a curved surface having a shape adapted to the curved surface portion.
4. The electronic device of claim 3, wherein the filler further comprises a third surface, the third surface is adjacent to the display screen and the middle frame, the third surface is adjacent to the first surface, and an included angle between the third surface and the first surface is not less than 90 °.
5. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein a thickness of the middle portion of the filler is less than a thickness of the two ends of the filler.
6. The electronic device according to claim 5, wherein a first adhesive layer is provided between the filler and the curved surface portion, and a second adhesive layer is provided between the filler and the mounting portion.

The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the mounting portion includes a first section fixedly connected to the main body portion, the main body portion and the first section forming a first step, and a second section fixedly connected to the first section, the first section and the second section forming a second step.

providing a carrier, a display screen and at least one filling piece, wherein the carrier comprises a main body part and an installation part arranged on the periphery of the main body part, the display screen comprises a plane part and a curved surface part, the filling piece is provided with a first surface, and the first surface is of a plane structure;
disposing one of said filling members on one of said curved surface portions with said first face remote from said curved surface portion;
assembling the display screen provided with the filler member to the carrier.
