Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of display equipment and discloses a foldable display screen and a display device, wherein the foldable display screen comprises a flexible display panel, a first laminated layer positioned on one side of the flexible display panel and a second laminated layer positioned on one side of the flexible display panel, which is far away from the first laminated layer; the flexible display panel is divided into a folding area and a non-folding area, a filling material is arranged at least at the edge of the flexible display panel corresponding to the folding area, and the Young modulus of the filling material is smaller than that of the inorganic film layer of the flexible display panel; the first laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which is far away from the second laminated layer; the second laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which faces away from the first laminated layer. Background
In the prior art, a foldable display screen includes a flexible display panel, and an upper and a lower stacked layers located at two sides of the flexible display panel. Generally, the flexible product is easy to have the situation of edge color shortage in the folding process, the color shortage position is confirmed to be caused by the edge of the flexible display panel having cracks, an inorganic film layer in the flexible display panel is a stress concentration layer, and the stress concentration in the crack area is found through stress simulation.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a foldable display screen, which reduces the bending risk and improves the bending resistance of a screen film by releasing stress generated during folding through a filling material.

the first laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which faces away from the second laminated layer;
the second laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which faces away from the first laminated layer.

Preferably, the filling material is a protective glue.
Preferably, the filler with two connection faces that flexible display panel contacted each other are concave-convex profile, and two concave-convex profile is mutually supported and connected.

Preferably, the thickness of the filler is 1 to 50 μm.

In a specific embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, two connection surfaces of the filler 4 and the flexible display panel 1, which are in contact with each other, are both concave-convex profiles, and the two concave-convex profiles are connected in a matching manner, in this structure, the two connection surfaces of the filler 4 and the flexible display panel 1, which are in contact with each other, are subjected to patterning treatment, which is beneficial to fully contacting the contact surfaces of the filler 4 and the flexible display panel 1, and further beneficial to releasing stress of each film layer of the flexible display panel 1.
In particular, the shape of the concave-convex profile can be wave-shaped or tooth-shaped, etc., according to the actual situation, and is not limited herein.
In a specific embodiment, the thickness of the filling material 4 may be 1 μm to 50 μm, and in practical cases, the thickness of the filling material 4 depends on the thickness of the flexible display panel 1 since the filling material 4 is filled between the first stacked layer 2 and the second stacked layer 3 and is in sufficient contact with the flexible display panel 1.
In a specific embodiment, the filling material 4 is connected to the flexible substrate 11 of the flexible display panel 1 and an inorganic film, and the material of the inorganic film may be one or more of silicon nitride, silicon oxide, and silicon oxynitride. As shown in fig. 3, the flexible display panel 1 includes a flexible substrate 11, an inorganic layer 12, a metal line 13, an organic layer 14, and an encapsulation layer, and the encapsulation layer includes an encapsulation inorganic layer 15, an encapsulation inorganic layer 17, and an encapsulation organic layer 16. The inorganic film layer on the flexible display panel 11 comprises an inorganic layer 12, an inorganic packaging layer 15 and an inorganic packaging layer 17, the inorganic film layer is in full contact with the filling material 4, and the stress generated when the filling material releases folding can reduce the bending risk and improve the bending resistance of the screen film.
In fig. 3, the inorganic layer 12 may be a single-layer structure made of the above materials, or may be a multi-layer structure, and is not limited herein according to the actual situation. The arrangement of the encapsulation layer is not limited to that shown in fig. 3, and the encapsulation layer structure may be further multiple layers to prevent water and oxygen from damaging the panel, which is determined according to practical situations and is not limited herein.
In a specific embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, the first laminate layer 2 may specifically include a polarizer 21, a flexible touch panel 22, a hardened coating 23, and an interlayer adhesive layer 24.
Moreover, the second stacked layer 3 may specifically include a supporting layer 31 disposed on a side of the flexible display panel 1 away from the first stacked layer 2, so as to prevent the flexible display panel from being damaged in the bending process.
The invention also provides a display device which comprises any one foldable display screen provided in the technical scheme.

Claims (9)
1. A foldable display screen is characterized by comprising a flexible display panel, a first laminated layer positioned on one side of the flexible display panel and a second laminated layer positioned on one side of the flexible display panel, which is far away from the first laminated layer; wherein,
the flexible display panel is divided into a folding area and a non-folding area, a filling material is arranged at least at the edge of the flexible display panel corresponding to the folding area, and the Young modulus of the filling material is smaller than that of an inorganic film layer of the flexible display panel;
the first laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which faces away from the second laminated layer;
the second laminated layer covers the surface of the filling material, which faces away from the first laminated layer.

3. The foldable display screen of claim 1, wherein two connecting surfaces of the filler material and the flexible display panel, which are in contact with each other, are both concave-convex profiles, and the concave-convex profiles are connected in a matching manner.

5. The foldable display of claim 1, wherein the filler material has a thickness of 1 μm to 50 μm.
6. The foldable display screen of claim 1, wherein the filler is connected to the flexible substrate of the flexible display panel and an inorganic film, and the inorganic film is made of one or more of silicon nitride, silicon oxide, and silicon oxynitride.
7. The foldable display screen of claim 1, wherein the first stack of layers comprises a polarizer, a flexible touch panel, a hardened coating, and an interlayer adhesive layer.
8. A foldable display screen according to claim 7, wherein the second layer stack comprises a support layer arranged on a side of the flexible display panel facing away from the first layer stack.
9. A display device comprising a foldable display screen according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
