The invention is a divisional application of the following patent applications: application No.: 201580004338.7, filing date: 1, 13 days 2015, the invention name: a user terminal, a radio base station, and a radio communication method.
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a user terminal, a radio base station, and a radio communication method that can be applied to a next-generation communication system.
Background
In a UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) network, Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a standard for the purpose of higher data rate, lower latency, and the like (non-patent document 1). In LTE, as a Multiple Access scheme, an OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) scheme is used in a downlink (downlink), and an SC-FDMA (Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access) scheme is used in an uplink (uplink). Further, with the aim of further widening LTE bandwidth and increasing LTE speed, a system succeeding LTE (for example, also referred to as LTE advanced or LTE enhancement (hereinafter, referred to as "LTE-a")) has been studied and is becoming a standard (rel.10/11).
As Duplex modes (Duplex-modes) in wireless communication in LTE and LTE-a systems, there are Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) in which an Uplink (UL) and a Downlink (DL) are divided by frequency, and Time Division Duplex (TDD) in which an uplink and a downlink are divided by time (see fig. 1A). In TDD, the same frequency domain is applied to uplink and downlink communications, and signals are transmitted and received from one transmission/reception point by time division in the uplink and downlink.
In TDD of the LTE system, a plurality of frame structures (UL/DL configuration) having different transmission ratios between an uplink subframe (UL subframe) and a downlink subframe (DL subframe) are defined. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, 7 frame structures of UL/DL structures 0 to 6 are defined, and subframes #0 and #5 are allocated to the downlink and subframe #2 is allocated to the uplink. In each UL/DL configuration, when switching from DL to UL is performed, a special subframe is set.
In addition, the system band of the LTE-A system (Rel.10/11) includes at least 1 Component Carrier (CC: Component Carrier) having the system band of the LTE system as one unit. A technique for aggregating a plurality of component carriers (cells) to make a wide band is called Carrier Aggregation (CA).

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
When Carrier Aggregation (CA) introduced in rel.10 is applied, TDD is defined such that the same UL/DL structure is used for any one frequency carrier between geographically adjacent transmission points in order to avoid interference between a plurality of CCs (also referred to as cells or transmission/reception points). However, in general, DL traffic and UL traffic are asymmetric. The ratio of DL traffic to UL traffic is not constant and varies depending on time and place. Therefore, in rel.11, CA (inter-band) CA is supported which applies different UL/DL structures between different cells to enable flexible switching of the UL/DL structures according to traffic.
In addition, in Carrier Aggregation (CA) in rel.10/11, a duplex mode applied between a plurality of CCs is limited to the same duplex mode (see fig. 1B). Meanwhile, in future wireless communication systems (e.g., after rel. 12), CA (see fig. 1C) is also assumed to be applied with different duplex modes (TDD + FDD) among a plurality of CCs.
With such an expansion of the usage of wireless communication systems, it is further desirable to flexibly control UL transmission and DL transmission in consideration of traffic and the like. For example, it is desirable to optimize throughput in the case where TDD is used in an environment where data traffic is heavily downlink. However, when an existing mechanism (for example, an existing UL/DL structure in TDD) is used in a new usage of a wireless communication system, it may be difficult to improve throughput or support the new usage.
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object thereof is to provide a user terminal, a radio base station, and a radio communication method that can support various usage schemes of a radio communication system while improving throughput when TDD is used in an environment where data traffic is heavily downlink.
Means for solving the problems
The user terminal of the present invention is a user terminal that performs wireless communication with a TDD cell, and includes: a transmission/reception unit that transmits/receives a signal using a UL/DL structure including a special subframe composed of a downlink time interval, a guard period, and an uplink time interval and performing DL transmission in all subframes; and a control unit configured to control the allocation of the uplink demodulation reference signal based on the length of the uplink time interval constituting the special subframe.
The user terminal of the present invention is a user terminal for performing communication by TDD, and is characterized by comprising: a transmission/reception unit that transmits/receives a signal using a UL/DL structure in which a special subframe including a downlink time period (DwPTS), a Guard Period (GP), and an uplink time period (UpPTS) is set in a predetermined subframe; and a control unit that controls transmission of an uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a demodulation reference signal used for demodulation of the PUSCH using the UpPTS, wherein the control unit controls transmission by arranging the demodulation reference signal at least at a specific position regardless of the UpPTS length when the demodulation reference signal is set and the UpPTS length can be set to be extended to 3 symbols or more.
Effects of the invention
According to the present invention, when TDD is used in an environment where data traffic is heavily downlink, it is possible to improve throughput and support various usage schemes of wireless communication systems.

Detailed Description
As described above, in LTE and LTE-a systems, two modes, FDD and TDD, are defined as duplex modes (see fig. 1A). In TDD, communication is performed between the radio base station and the user terminal using a predetermined UL/DL configuration selected from the UL/DL configurations 0 to 6 shown in fig. 2. In TDD, the transmission ratio of the UL subframe and the DL subframe differs for each UL/DL configuration, and a feedback mechanism (HARQ mechanism) for transmitting an acknowledgement signal (a/N) and the like are defined for each configuration.
In future systems (e.g., after rel. 12), CA (see fig. 1C) that applies different duplex modes (TDD + FDD) among a plurality of CCs is also assumed. In this case, in a cell to which TDD is applied (hereinafter, also referred to as "TDD cell"), it is considered that UL/DL structures 0 to 6 are applied as in the conventional system (for example, rel. 10/11). However, when CA is applied between a plurality of cells including a TDD cell, there is a concern that optimization of throughput becomes difficult in the existing UL/DL structure.
For example, in a communication environment in which DL traffic is larger than UL traffic, a predetermined cell among a plurality of cells to which CA is applied is assumed to be used as a DL transmission scheme. In this case, if the cell selected for DL transmission is a cell to which FDD is applied (hereinafter also referred to as "FDD cell"), DL transmission can be performed in each subframe. On the other hand, when the cell selected as the cell for DL transmission is a TDD cell, it is considered to apply the UL/DL structure (UL/DL structure 5 of fig. 2) having the highest composition ratio of DL subframes.
However, even when the UL/DL structure 5 having the highest DL subframe composition ratio is applied, the UL subframe and the special subframes (SF #1 and SF #2) are included. As described above, since the conventional UL/DL structure includes at least UL subframes, when a TDD cell is used for DL transmission, a subframe (for example, SF #2) that cannot be used for transmission of DL data occurs. As a result, it is not possible to sufficiently improve throughput. In addition, since the special subframe is composed of a downlink time period (DwPTS), a Guard Period (GP), and an uplink time period (UpPTS), DL transmission can be performed using the DwPTS.
Therefore, the present inventors have focused on that when CA is performed using a plurality of cells including TDD cells, throughput cannot be optimized in the existing UL/DL structure according to the system usage, and have studied to use a new UL/DL structure. Specifically, in the TDD cell, a UL/DL structure for DL transmission (hereinafter, also referred to as "UL/DL structure 7") that enables DL transmission in all subframes is newly introduced. The UL/DL structure 7 can be suitably used in the case where the TDD cell is a secondary cell (SCell) (not a primary cell (PCell)).
Here, the primary cell (PCell) is a cell that manages RRC connection or handover in CA, and is a cell that requires UL transmission in order to receive data or a feedback signal from a terminal. In the case of CA, the uplink and downlink of the primary cell are always set. A secondary cell (SCell) is another cell that is set in addition to the primary cell when CA is applied. The secondary cell can set only the downlink, and can set the uplink and the downlink simultaneously.
In this way, the UL/DL structure 7 for DL transmission is applied according to the usage of the wireless communication system, and throughput can be improved. In addition, as the UL/DL structure 7 for DL transmission, a case where only DL subframes are set (no special subframe is set) (see fig. 3A) and a case where DL subframes and special subframes are set (see fig. 3B) are considered depending on the usage pattern.
However, in future wireless communication systems, it is also studied to operate the LTE system in a band domain (Unlicensed band) that does not require authorization in addition to a band domain (Licensed band) to which an operator is authorized. A Licensed band (Licensed band) is a band which is exclusively used by a specific operator, and an Unlicensed band (Unlicensed band) is a band in which a wireless station can be set without being limited to the specific operator. As the Unlicensed band (Unlicensed band), for example, there are a 2.4GHz band or 5GHz band that can use WiFi or Bluetooth (registered trademark), a 60GHz band that can use millimeter wave radar, and the like.
The unlicensed band domain is not used only by a specific operator unlike the licensed band domain, so there is a possibility that unexpected interference occurs. For example, in the unlicensed band, a wireless communication system (shared frequency) different from the LTE system (weather/air radar, broadcasting, disaster prevention radio, public radio, regional radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, or the like) may be used. In this case, there is a concern that mutual interference is not expected between different wireless communication systems.
In order to suppress interference between different wireless communication systems, it is also considered to control to preferentially operate any one of the wireless communication systems. For example, the possibility of being defined as a preference of other wireless communication systems over the LTE system is also envisaged. At this time, when the operation of another priority radio system is detected in the unlicensed band, the communication using the LTE system is stopped.
Furthermore, the possibility of different LTE operators using the LTE system with the same frequency in the unlicensed band is also considered. For example, when different operators install LTE base stations in adjacent locations and operate at the same frequency, there is a concern that large interference may occur between the operators. Therefore, in the usage scheme using the unlicensed band to operate the LTE system, the above-described interference and the like need to be considered.
The present inventors have also studied to use the above-described UL/DL structure 7 in an Unlicensed band (see fig. 4A and 4B) when an LTE system is operated in the Unlicensed band in addition to a Licensed band (Licensed band). For example, consider that an FDD cell is used in the licensed band, a TDD cell (UL/DL structure 7) is used in the unlicensed band, and the CA utilization scheme is applied between the FDD cell and the TDD cell (see fig. 4B). Alternatively, it is also conceivable to operate TDD cells in the licensed band and the unlicensed band and apply the CA usage scheme between the TDD cells (see fig. 4A).
In the licensed band, the operator can control interference by the operation of the base station, and therefore, the operator can use the interference for communication of a control signal or data requiring high quality. On the other hand, in the unlicensed band, although there is a possibility that unexpected interference occurs, since a relatively wide band can be used, the unlicensed band is suitable for use in data communication (DL transmission) in which traffic such as packets is large. Therefore, CA is performed in a TDD cell in the unlicensed band by using the UL/DL structure 7, thereby enabling communication that takes advantage of both the licensed band and the unlicensed band.
In future wireless communication systems, it is also considered that a TDD cell used as a secondary cell (SCell) as described above is used as a cell that can be connected even when CA is not set (i.e., without assuming communication by a primary cell (PCell) separately). Specifically, the present invention can be applied to a cell (Stand-alone) to which a user terminal can initially connect or a cell (Dual connectivity) which can be scheduled independently. In addition, a cell operating in standalone (Stand-alone) can make an initial connection with a user terminal independently, i.e., even if it is not a secondary cell (SCell) of the CA. The dual connection is a scheme in which a user terminal is connected to a plurality of cells that are independently scheduled (provided with a scheduler).
In such a usage scheme, UL transmission is required in a TDD cell, but in this case, how to perform communication using the UL/DL configuration 7 becomes a problem. That is, in order to use the UL/DL structure 7 in independent or dual connection, support of an uplink channel or an uplink reference signal is required. For example, it is necessary to transmit at least an uplink signal such as a PRACH signal, a message 3 in the random access process, a higher layer control signal, a downlink HARQ-ACK (acknowledgement signal), a CQI (channel quality information), an SR (scheduling request signal), and an SRs (reference signal for channel quality measurement) by using the UL/DL structure 7.
Therefore, the structure of fig. 3B described above having timing (including special subframes) in the uplink is considered to be utilized as UL/DL structure 7. However, in the structure of the special subframe of the conventional LTE system (rel.10/11), the uplink signal cannot be transmitted using the uplink time slot (UpPTS). The conventional special subframe structure (Sp-SF Config) will be described below with reference to fig. 5A and 5B.
In the conventional LTE system (rel.10/11), 10 types are defined by a normal cp (normal cp) and 8 types are defined by an extended cp (extended cp) as a special subframe structure (Sp-SF Config) (see fig. 5A). The information on the special subframe structure is notified to the user terminal in the primary cell using system information (SIB1), and is notified to the user terminal in the secondary cell using RRC signaling.
The numbers shown in the table of fig. 5A indicate the number of OFDM (or SC-FDMA) symbols. In the conventional special subframe structure, an uplink time interval (UpPTS) is set to 2 symbols at most. Therefore, in the UL subframe, transmission of user data (PUSCH signal) transmitted using the PUSCH or an uplink control signal (PUCCH signal) transmitted using the PUCCH or the like cannot be performed. On the other hand, in the conventional special subframe, only transmission of the PRACH signal and SRS is supported as UL transmission. Therefore, in the case of using the UL/DL structure 7 described above (see fig. 5B), it is not possible to transmit UL signals (user data, uplink control information, and the like) that are necessary when an operation other than the secondary cell (SCell) is assumed in the conventional special subframe structure.
Therefore, the present inventors conceived: the uplink time interval (UpPTS) of the special subframe structure is extended so that UL signals other than the PRACH signal and the SRS can be transmitted even in the case of fig. 3B including the special subframe in the UL/DL structure 7 (see fig. 6). Hereinafter, a special subframe structure extended with UpPTS will be described.
Fig. 7 is a table in which a special subframe structure 10(Sp-SF Config10) in which the UpPTS is extended is newly defined as a special subframe structure in addition to the conventional special subframe structures 0 to 9. As the new additional special subframe structure 10, the UpPTS may be extended from the conventional one (UpPTS is at least 3 symbols or more). Hereinafter, such UpPTS is referred to as extended UpPTS (extended UpPTS).
Fig. 7 shows a case where DwPTS, GP, and UpPTS are set to "3", 2 ", and 9", respectively, as the special subframe structure 10. That is, the number of UpPTS symbols is increased from 1 or 2 to 9 in the past, and the UL transmission capacity in the special subframe is increased. The new additional special subframe structure is not limited to 1 type. A number of special subframe structures that add UpPTS above 3 symbols may also be defined. The extended UpPTS may be at least 3 symbols, but is preferably 4 symbols or more, and more preferably 5 symbols or more. Note that the newly introduced special subframe structure 10 may be applied only to the UL/DL structure 7.
Alternatively, a user terminal using an existing special subframe structure may change the special subframe structure (extended UpPTS) based on a change request signal of the special subframe structure notified in the downlink (see fig. 8A and 8B).
Fig. 8A shows a case where the user terminal having received the change request signal of the special subframe structure changes the GP length and the UpPTS length. The user terminal uses the existing special subframe structure as in the conventional terminal (rel.8-11UE) as long as it has no predetermined instruction (change request signal of the special subframe structure) from the radio base station. On the other hand, when a change request signal of the special subframe structure is received, control is performed such that the UpPTS length is extended to 3 symbols or more and the number of GP symbols is reduced by the number of extension symbols of UpPTS. In addition, the change request signal of the special subframe structure can be notified from the radio base station to the user terminal using a downlink control signal (e.g., UL grant).
In addition, the user terminal may also perform control such that the number of symbols of the DwPTS is reduced according to the extension of the UpPTS. Fig. 8B shows a case where the user equipment having received the change request signal of the special subframe structure changes the DwPTS length and the UpPTS length. Specifically, control is performed such that the UpPTS length is extended to 3 symbols or more and the number of symbols of the DwPTS is reduced by the number of extended symbols of the UpPTS.
In this way, by shortening the DwPTS and/or the GP and extending the UpPTS, the UL transmission capacity in the special subframe can be increased. Thus, even when the UL/DL configuration 7 in which no UL subframe is set is used, Uplink Control Information (UCI), a higher layer control signal, and UL data can be transmitted using the special subframe. As a result, even if the usage of the communication system is Stand-alone (Stand-alone) and/or Dual connection (Dual connectivity), it is possible to suitably use the UL/DL configuration 7.
On the other hand, in TDD, a synchronization signal (PSS) is allocated to the 2 nd OFDM symbol (3 rd OFDM symbol from the beginning of a subframe) of DwPTS. Therefore, in the special subframe, DwPTS requires 3 symbols or more (in other words, cannot be 3 symbols or less). In addition, in order to support timing advance, at least 1 symbol is required in GP (refer to fig. 9). Considering these, it is assumed that the extension of UpPTS extends up to 10OFDM symbols (4 th to 13 th OFDM symbols).
That is, even in the case of the extended UpPTS, at least the first 4OFDM symbols of the subframe cannot be used for UL transmission. In this case, since user multiplexing to the same resource block by orthogonal spreading codes cannot be performed in the OFDM symbol direction within the subframe, it is difficult to use the physical format of the PUCCH in the extended UpPTS. Therefore, it is considered to utilize the physical format of PUSCH in the extended UpPTS. Here, fig. 10 shows an example of a physical format of a PUSCH in a conventional UL subframe.
When there is feedback of Uplink Control Information (UCI) at the timing of transmitting the PUSCH signal, the uplink control information is allocated to the PUSCH and transmitted. In this case, the transmission acknowledgement signal (a/N), the Rank Indicator (RI), and the Channel Quality Information (CQI)/Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) are multiplexed as shown in fig. 10. In addition, a reference signal (DMRS for PUSCH) for demodulating a PUSCH signal is allocated to the 4 th symbol (3 rd symbol, 10 th symbol) from the head of each slot.
Therefore, in the case of using the physical format of PUSCH in the special subframe including the extended UpPTS, at least the first 4 symbols cannot be used for UL transmission, so 1 DMRS cannot be transmitted. This may deteriorate the channel estimation accuracy (particularly, the temporal fluctuation resistance). In addition, it is difficult to apply OCC to MU-MIMO oriented DMRS. Further, in a mapping method when Uplink Control Information (UCI) is transmitted using PUSCH in a conventional system (UCI on PUSCH), there is a case where uplink control information cannot be mapped to the periphery of DMRS (near-side resources) because there is no DMRS.
Therefore, the present inventors have conceived that the uplink signal is allocated by controlling the arrangement (position, number of arrangements, and the like) of DMRSs based on the length of UpPTS to be extended. Alternatively, when a signal is transmitted using the PUSCH in the extended UpPTS, it is conceivable that 1 or more DMRSs and SRSs are multiplexed into the UpPTS and transmitted.
Hereinafter, the radio communication method according to the present embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In addition, in the present embodiment, a TDD cell using the UL/DL structure 7 of fig. 3B can be used in a licensed region or an unlicensed region.
(first mode)
In the first aspect, a method of arranging DMRSs (Demodulation Reference Signal) set for an extended uplink time segment (UpPTS) of a special subframe when the UpPTS is extended will be described.
Fig. 11 shows an arrangement relationship between the number of symbols of the UpPTS and an uplink demodulation reference signal (DMRS for PUSCH) arranged in the UpPTS. As shown in fig. 11, the user terminal changes the DMRS configuration (position, number of configurations, etc.) according to the length of the UpPTS of the special subframe.
For example, in the case where the number of symbols of UpPTS is less than a predetermined value (6 in fig. 11), 1 (1 symbol amount) DMRS is set in UpPTS. On the other hand, when the number of symbols of UpPTS is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, 2 DMRSs (2 symbols) are set in UpPTS.
In the case where 2 DMRSs (e.g., a first DMRS and a second DMRS) are set in the UpPTS, a distance between the first DMRS and the second DMRS is controlled according to a length of the UpPTS. In fig. 11, as the number of symbols of UpPTS increases, the distance between the first DMRS and the second DMRS is set to be larger. When the number of UpPTS symbols is 7 or more, uplink signals can be allocated to adjacent symbols of the first DMRS and the second DMRS.
In this way, by controlling the DMRS placement according to the length of the extended UpPTS, the number of symbols adjacent to the symbol to which the DMRS is allocated increases, and thus Uplink Control Information (UCI), which is important information, can be mapped to adjacent symbols (e.g., before and after) of the DMRS.
It is preferable that the DMRS is fixedly set at least in a predetermined symbol (for example, 10 th symbol) regardless of the number of symbols of the UpPTS. When setting the first and second DMRSs, the allocation position of the first DMRS is changed according to the length of the UpPTS, and the allocation position of the second DMRS is fixed regardless of the length of the UpPTS.
As described above, by arranging at least 1 DMRS (second DMRS) in the same symbol (for example, 10 th symbol) regardless of the length of the UpPTS, even when different UpPTS lengths are set in peripheral cells, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of interference with UL data by the second DMRS. In addition, when 2 DMRSs are arranged in the extended UpPTS and the extended UpPTS length is relatively long (for example, when UpPTS is 6 or more), by providing PUSCH regions adjacent to the 2 DMRSs regardless of the extended UpPTS length, Uplink Control Information (UCI) which is important information can be mapped before and after the 2 DMRSs.
The method of disposing the DMRS set to the extended UpPTS is not limited to the configuration shown in fig. 11. For example, DMRSs may be allocated to the leading symbol constituting UpPTS (see fig. 12). When 2 DMRSs (e.g., a first DMRS and a second DMRS) are set in the UpPTS, the first DMRS is allocated to the first symbol constituting the UpPTS, and the second DMRS is fixedly allocated to a predetermined symbol (e.g., 10 th symbol) regardless of the length of the UpPTS.
As shown in fig. 12, by allocating DMRSs to the leading symbol and the fixed position constituting UpPTS, the tracking characteristic of time variation can be improved. In the configuration shown in fig. 12, it is also preferable to map Uplink Control Information (UCI), which is important information, to adjacent symbols (e.g., before and after) of the DMRS.
In this way, by arranging 2 DMRSs in the extended UpPTS and increasing the time distance of the 2 DMRSs, the time tracking characteristic and the time variation resistance can be effectively improved. Further, by arranging at least 1 DMRS (second DMRS) in the same symbol (for example, 10 th symbol) regardless of the length of UpPTS, it is possible to suppress UL data from interfering with DMRSs even when different UpPTS lengths are set in peripheral cells.
(second mode)
In the second aspect, a description is given of a PUSCH format in which, when an uplink time interval (UpPTS) of a special subframe is extended, a DMRS (Demodulation Reference Signal) and an SRS (Sounding Reference Signal) are multiplexed in the extended UpPTS.
Fig. 13 shows an example of a PUSCH format in which a DMRS and SRS are arranged in an extended UpPTS. Here, a case where 1 (1 symbol) DMRS and SRS is set in UpPTS will be described, but the present embodiment is not limited to this.
In the extended UpPTS, the user terminal transmits an SRS in a bandwidth including at least a bandwidth allocated to a PUSCH. By multiplexing the SRS to the UpPTS and transmitting the multiplexed SRS, channel estimation can be performed using the SRS in addition to the DMRS even when the DMRS set to the UpPTS is 1 (1 symbol), and thus deterioration in channel estimation accuracy can be suppressed.
The user terminal may transmit the SRS periodically (Periodic-SRS) or aperiodically (Aperiodic-SRS) according to an instruction from the radio base station. In the case where the radio base station Aperiodic triggers the SRS (adaptive-SRS trigger), the trigger information may be used to indicate the sequence or Comb of the SRS to the user terminal.
The user terminal may multiplex the SRS to the UpPTS of each special subframe and transmit the SRS, or may multiplex the SRS at a rate of one of a plurality of UpPTS. In fig. 13, the case where the SRS is multiplexed every 1 OFDM symbol (even or odd OFDM symbol) is shown, but the SRS may be multiplexed over a plurality of OFDM symbols.
When the SRS is multiplexed in the UpPTS, the user terminal may multiplex uplink control information in a symbol adjacent to the SRS. In the case shown in fig. 13, the user terminal preferably multiplexes uplink control information in the symbol (12 th OFDM symbol) immediately before the SRS. By multiplexing uplink control information to symbols adjacent to the SRS, deterioration in channel estimation accuracy due to time variation of the channel can be suppressed, and characteristics can be improved.
In addition, in the UpPTS, it is preferable that the user terminal fixedly set the DMRS in a predetermined symbol (for example, 10 th symbol) regardless of the number of symbols of the UpPTS. Thus, even when different UpPTS lengths are set in the neighboring cells, it is possible to suppress DMRS from interfering with UL data.
In this way, when an uplink signal is transmitted by extending the UpPTS of the special subframe, by applying the PUSCH format in which the UpPTS multiplexes the DMRS and the SRS, it is possible to improve the channel estimation accuracy while suppressing an increase in overhead due to DMRS insertion.
(third mode)
In the third aspect, timing control of an operation related to an uplink signal transmitted using a special subframe extended by the UpPTS length is described.
In the conventional LTE, transmission of PUCCH signals or PUSCH signals using a special subframe is not supported, and transmission of only PDCCH signals or PDSCH signals (DL assignment) is supported in the special subframe. Therefore, the user terminal operates with the special subframe as a DL subframe. That is, in the existing LTE, timing control of operations related to an uplink signal transmitted in a special subframe (e.g., DL HARQ feedback, PUSCH transmission for UL grant, PHICH reception for PUSCH (UL HARQ)) is not specified.
When the timing of an operation related to an uplink signal transmitted in a special subframe is not accurately set, dynamic scheduling or HARQ in the special subframe cannot be applied, and it is difficult to appropriately perform uplink communication.
The present inventors have focused on that when an existing special subframe is regarded as a DL subframe, the ratio of UL to DL in the existing UL/DL structure 5 is DL: UL 9: 1 (see fig. 14). Fig. 14 shows the timing of operations (DL HARQ feedback, PUSCH transmission for UL grant, PHICH reception for PUSCH (UL HARQ)) related to an uplink signal transmitted in a UL subframe of the existing UL/DL structure 5.
The present inventors have focused on regarding a special subframe extended by the UpPTS length as a UL subframe. In this case, the ratio of UL and DL of the special subframe structure including the extended UpPTS is regarded as DL: UL 9: 1. therefore, a mechanism of using the existing UL/DL structure 5 when transmitting an uplink signal using a special subframe extended with the UpPTS length is conceived.
Fig. 15 shows timing control of operations (DL HARQ feedback, PUSCH transmission for UL grant, PHICH reception for PUSCH (UL HARQ)) related to an uplink signal transmitted in a special subframe (UL subframe) of UL/DL structure 7 of the present embodiment. In fig. 15, the same mechanism as the DL/UL HARQ timing and UL scheduling timing of the existing UL/DL structure 5 is utilized. However, in fig. 15, the subframe number corresponding to the timing of each operation is shifted by-1 in comparison with the conventional UL/DL structure 5.
In this way, in the present embodiment, when the UL/DL structure 7 is applied, the operation timing with respect to the uplink signal transmitted in the special subframe in which the UpPTS length is extended is controlled by using the mechanism of the existing UL/DL structure 5. Thus, in the new UL/DL configuration 7, a predetermined offset (subframe is set to-1) is applied only to the HARQ timing or UL scheduling timing defined in rel.8, and therefore, the present invention can be easily applied to an existing user terminal.
(Structure of Wireless communication System)
An example of the radio communication system according to the present embodiment will be described in detail below.
Fig. 16 is a schematic configuration diagram of a wireless communication system according to the present embodiment. In addition, the wireless communication system shown in fig. 16 is, for example, an LTE system or a system including SUPER (SUPER) 3G. In this wireless communication system, Carrier Aggregation (CA) can be applied in which a plurality of basic frequency blocks (component carriers) are integrated into one unit in the system bandwidth of the LTE system. Further, the wireless communication system may be referred to as IMT-Advanced, and may also be referred to as 4G, FRA (Future Radio Access).
The wireless communication system 1 shown in fig. 16 includes a radio base station 11 forming a macrocell C1, and radio base stations 12a and 12b arranged within a macrocell C1 and forming a small cell C2 narrower than the macrocell C1. In addition, the user terminal 20 is arranged in the macro cell C1 and each small cell C2. The user terminal 20 can be connected to both the radio base station 11 and the radio base station 12. Further, Intra-base-station CA (Intra-eNB) CA) or Inter-base-station CA (Inter-eNB) CA) is applied between the radio base station 11 and the radio base station 12. Further, as CA between the radio base station 11 and the radio base station 12, TDD-TDD CA, TDD-FDD CA, or the like can be applied.
Between the user terminal 20 and the radio base station 11, communication can be performed using a carrier with a narrow bandwidth (referred to as an existing carrier, Legacy carrier, or the like) in a relatively low frequency band (e.g., 2 GHz). On the other hand, between user terminal 20 and radio base station 12, a carrier having a wide bandwidth may be used in a relatively high frequency band (for example, 3.5GHz or the like), or the same carrier as that between radio base station 11 may be used. As the carrier type between the user terminal 20 and the radio base station 12, a New Carrier Type (NCT) may be used. Radio base station 11 and radio base station 12 (or between radio base stations 12) are connected by wire (Optical fiber, X2 interface, or the like) or by radio.
The radio base station 11 and each radio base station 12 are connected to the upper station apparatus 30, and are connected to the core network 40 via the upper station apparatus 30. The upper node apparatus 30 includes, for example, an access gateway apparatus, a Radio Network Controller (RNC), a Mobility Management Entity (MME), and the like, but is not limited thereto. Each radio base station 12 may be connected to an upper station apparatus via the radio base station 11.
The radio base station 11 is a radio base station having a relatively wide coverage area, and may also be referred to as an eNodeB, a macro base station, a transmission/reception point, or the like. The radio base station 12 is a radio base station having a local coverage area, and may be referred to as a small base station, a pico base station, a femto base station, a Home (Home) eNodeB, a micro base station, a transmission/reception point, or the like. Hereinafter, the radio base stations 11 and 12 are collectively referred to as the radio base station 10 without distinguishing them. Each user terminal 20 is a terminal supporting various communication schemes such as LTE and LTE-a, and may include a fixed communication terminal in addition to a mobile communication terminal.
In a wireless communication system, OFDMA (orthogonal frequency division multiple access) is applied to a downlink and SC-FDMA (single carrier frequency division multiple access) is applied to an uplink as radio access schemes. OFDMA is a multicarrier transmission scheme in which a frequency band is divided into a plurality of narrow frequency bands (subcarriers) and data is mapped onto each subcarrier to perform communication. SC-FDMA is a single carrier transmission scheme in which a system bandwidth is divided into bands each consisting of one or consecutive resource blocks for each terminal, and a plurality of terminals use different bands to reduce interference between terminals.
Here, a communication channel used in the wireless communication system shown in fig. 16 is explained. The Downlink communication Channel includes a PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) Shared by each user terminal 20 and Downlink L1/L2 control channels (PDCCH, PCFICH, PHICH, extended PDCCH). User data and upper control information are transmitted through the PDSCH. Scheduling information of the PDSCH and the PUSCH and the like are transmitted through a PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel). The number of OFDM symbols for the PDCCH is transmitted through a PCFICH (Physical Control Format Indicator Channel). The ACK/NACK for HARQ of the PUSCH is transmitted through a PHICH (Physical Hybrid-ARQ Indicator Channel). Also, scheduling information of PDSCH and PUSCH and the like may be transmitted through an extended pdcch (epdcch). The EPDCCH is frequency division multiplexed with PDSCH (downlink shared data channel).
The Uplink communication Channel includes a PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) as an Uplink data Channel Shared by each user terminal 20 and a PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel) as an Uplink Control Channel. User data or higher control information is transmitted via the PUSCH. In addition, radio Quality information (Channel Quality Indicator (CQI)), ACK/NACK, and the like of the downlink are transmitted through PUCCH or PUSCH (when transmitted simultaneously with user data).
Fig. 17 is an overall configuration diagram of the radio base station 10 (including the radio base stations 11 and 12) according to the present embodiment. The radio base station 10 includes a plurality of transmission/reception antennas 101 for MIMO transmission, an amplifier unit 102, a transmission/reception unit 103, a baseband signal processing unit 104, a call processing unit 105, and a transmission path interface 106.
User data transmitted from the radio base station 10 to the user terminal 20 in downlink is input from the upper station apparatus 30 to the baseband signal processing unit 104 via the transmission line interface 106.
The baseband signal processing section 104 performs PDCP layer processing, user data division/combination, RLC (Radio Link Control) layer transmission processing such as RLC retransmission Control transmission processing, MAC (Medium Access Control) retransmission Control, HARQ transmission processing, scheduling, transport format selection, channel coding, Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) processing, and precoding processing, and forwards the result to each transmitting/receiving section 103. Also, the downlink control channel signal is subjected to transmission processing such as channel coding and inverse fast fourier transform, and is forwarded to each transmission/reception section 103.
Further, the baseband signal processing section 104 notifies the user terminal 20 of control information used for communication in the cell by higher layer signaling (RRC signaling, broadcast signal, or the like). The information used for communication in the cell includes, for example, information on a UL/DL structure used in the TDD cell, information on a special subframe, a system bandwidth in an uplink or a downlink, resource information for feedback, and the like. Examples of the information on the special subframe include a special subframe structure to be used, an instruction to change the special subframe structure, and change contents (extended information of UpPTS) when the special subframe is changed.
In addition, the baseband signal processing section 104 controls the allocation (position or number of DMRS) of uplink demodulation reference signals (DMRS) and controls the allocation of uplink signals (user data or uplink control information) or SRS according to the structure of the special subframe (extending the length of UpPTS).
Each transmitting/receiving section 103 converts a baseband signal, which is output after being precoded for each antenna from baseband signal processing section 104, into a radio band. Amplifier section 102 amplifies the frequency-converted radio frequency signal and transmits the amplified signal via transmitting/receiving antenna 101.
The transmission/reception section 103 functions as a transmission section that transmits information on the UL/DL structure used in the TDD cell, information on the special subframe, and the like by higher layer signaling (broadcast signal, RRC signaling, and the like). When the DMRS placement is controlled by changing the UpPTS extension, transmission/reception section 103 can notify the user terminal of information on the DMRS placement using a downlink signal (downlink control information, a broadcast signal, RRC signaling, or a combination thereof). In addition, when the DMRS configuration according to each UpPTS length is defined in advance (for example, when the number of UpPTS symbols is associated with the DMRS configuration), the information on the DMRS configuration can be omitted.
On the other hand, regarding data transmitted from the user terminal 20 to the radio base station 10 in the uplink, radio frequency signals received by the respective transmission/reception antennas 101 are amplified by the amplifier units 102, subjected to frequency conversion by the respective transmission/reception units 103, converted into baseband signals, and input to the baseband signal processing unit 104.
The baseband signal processing section 104 performs FFT processing, IDFT processing, error correction decoding, reception processing of MAC retransmission control, and reception processing of the RLC layer and PDCP layer on the user data included in the input baseband signal, and transfers the user data to the upper station apparatus 30 via the transmission path interface 106. Call processing section 105 performs call processing such as setting or releasing a communication channel, managing the state of radio base station 10, and managing radio resources.
Fig. 18 is a main functional configuration diagram of the baseband signal processing section 104 included in the radio base station 10 according to the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 18, baseband signal processing section 104 included in radio base station 10 includes at least control section 301, DL signal generation section 302, UL/DL configuration determination section 303, special subframe configuration determination section 304, mapping section 305, UL signal decoding section 306, and determination section 307.
Control section 301 controls scheduling of downlink user data transmitted in PDSCH, downlink control information transmitted in PDCCH and/or enhanced PDCCH (epdcch), downlink reference signals, and the like. Control section 301 can also perform control (allocation control) of scheduling of uplink user data transmitted on the PUSCH, uplink control information transmitted on the PUCCH or PUSCH, and uplink reference signals (DMRS, SRS). Information on allocation control of uplink signals (uplink control signals, uplink user data) is notified to the user terminal using a downlink control signal (DCI).
Specifically, control section 301 controls allocation of radio resources to downlink signals and uplink signals based on instruction information from upper station apparatus 30 or feedback information from each user terminal 20. That is, the control unit 301 has a function as a scheduler. In addition, when the radio base station 10 uses TDD, the allocation of downlink signals and uplink signals to each subframe is controlled based on the UL/DL structure or the special subframe structure used.
In the case of using UL/DL structure 7 including the special subframe in which the UpPTS is extended, control unit 301 controls an uplink signal allocated to the extended UpPTS of the special subframe. For example, control section 301 controls allocation of PRACH signals, message 3 in random access processing, higher layer control signals, downlink HARQ-ACK, CQI, SR, SRs, and other uplink signals using the extended UpPTS of the special subframe.
Further, control section 301 can control allocation of uplink control information in consideration of the DMRS set according to the number of symbols of the extended UpPTS. For example, uplink control information is allocated to an OFDM symbol adjacent to a DMRS configured in the extended UpPTS. As shown in fig. 11, when 2 DMRSs are arranged in the extended UpPTS, control can be performed such that Uplink Control Information (UCI) is allocated before and after 2 DMRSs.
DL signal generation section 302 generates a downlink control signal (PDCCH signal and/or EPDCCH signal) or a downlink data signal (PDSCH signal) to which allocation is determined by control section 301. Specifically, DL signal generation section 302 generates DL assignment (DL assignment) for notifying assignment information of a downlink signal and UL grant (UL grant) for notifying assignment information of an uplink signal, based on an instruction from control section 301.
DL signal generation section 302 also generates information on the UL/DL configuration determined in UL/DL configuration determination section 303 or information on the special subframe configuration determined in special subframe configuration determination section 304. When a change of a special subframe is instructed to a user terminal (see fig. 8A and 8B described above), DL signal generation section 302 generates a change request signal of the special subframe as an UL grant.
UL/DL configuration determining section 303 determines a UL/DL configuration to be used in TDD, taking into account UL and DL traffic and the like. UL/DL configuration determining section 303 can select a predetermined UL/DL configuration from a plurality of UL/DL configurations including the UL/DL configuration for DL transmission (UL/DL configuration 7 described above) (see fig. 3B and the like described above). Further, UL/DL configuration determining section 303 can determine the UL/DL configuration based on information from upper station apparatus 30 and the like.
The special subframe structure determining unit 304 determines a special subframe structure. In addition, special subframe configuration determining section 304 can determine the UL/DL configuration based on information from upper station apparatus 30 and the like. The special subframe structure determining unit 304 can determine a predetermined special subframe structure from a table in which the special subframe structure 10 having the UpPTS extended is newly defined in addition to the existing special subframe structures 0 to 9 (see fig. 7 described above).
Alternatively, special subframe structure determining section 304 extends the length of the UpPTS by 3 symbols or more and reduces the number of GP symbols by the number of extension symbols of the UpPTS (see fig. 8A described above). Alternatively, special subframe structure determining section 304 extends the length of the UpPTS to 3 symbols or more and reduces the number of DwPTS symbols by the number of extended UpPTS symbols (see fig. 8B described above).
Mapping section 305 controls the allocation of the downlink control signal and the downlink data signal generated in DL signal generation section 302 to the radio resources based on an instruction from control section 301.
UL signal decoding section 306 decodes a feedback signal (transmission acknowledgement signal or the like) transmitted from the user terminal, and outputs the decoded signal to control section 301. Further, UL signal decoding section 306 decodes an uplink data signal transmitted from the user terminal on an uplink shared channel (PUSCH), and outputs the decoded signal to determination section 307. Determination section 307 performs retransmission control determination (ACK/NACK) based on the decoding result of UL signal decoding section 306 and outputs the result to control section 301.
Fig. 19 is an overall configuration diagram of the user terminal 20 according to the present embodiment. The user terminal 20 includes a plurality of transmission/reception antennas 201 for MIMO transmission, an amplifier unit 202, a transmission/reception unit (reception unit) 203, a baseband signal processing unit 204, and an application unit 205.
For downlink data, radio frequency signals received by the plurality of transmission/reception antennas 201 are amplified by the amplifier units 202, and are frequency-converted into baseband signals by the transmission/reception units 203. The baseband signal is subjected to FFT processing, error correction decoding, reception processing for retransmission control, and the like in the baseband signal processing section 204. Within the downlink data, the downlink user data is forwarded to the application unit 205. The application section 205 performs processing and the like related to layers higher than the physical layer or the MAC layer. In addition, within the data of the downlink, the broadcast information is also forwarded to the application unit 205.
When the user terminal 20 is connected to a TDD cell, the transmission/reception unit 203 functions as a reception unit that receives information on the UL/DL structure or information on the special subframe. Examples of the information on the special subframe include a special subframe structure to be applied, an instruction to change the special subframe structure, and the content of change (extended information of UpPTS) when the special subframe is changed.
On the other hand, uplink user data is input from the application section 205 to the baseband signal processing section 204. Baseband signal processing section 204 performs retransmission control (H-ARQ (Hybrid ARQ)) transmission processing, channel coding, precoding, DFT processing, IFFT processing, and the like, and forwards the result to each transmitting/receiving section 203. The transmission/reception section 203 converts the baseband signal output from the baseband signal processing section 204 into a radio frequency band. After that, amplifier section 202 amplifies the frequency-converted radio frequency signal and transmits the amplified signal via transmitting/receiving antenna 201.
Fig. 20 is a main functional block diagram of the baseband signal processing unit 204 provided in the user terminal 20. As shown in fig. 20, the baseband signal processing section 204 included in the user terminal 20 includes at least a DL signal decoding section 401, a UL/DL configuration determining section 402, a special subframe configuration determining section 403, a determining section 404, a control section 405, a UL signal generating section 406, a mapping section 407, and a UL reference signal generating section 408.
DL signal decoding section 401 decodes a downlink control signal (PDCCH signal) transmitted on a downlink control channel (PDCCH) and outputs scheduling information (information on allocation of uplink resources) to control section 405. DL signal decoding section 401 decodes a downlink data signal transmitted on the downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and outputs the decoded signal to determining section 404. Based on the decoding result of DL signal decoding section 401, determining section 404 performs retransmission control determination (ACK/NACK) and outputs the result to control section 405.
When the received downlink signal includes information on the UL/DL structure or information on the special subframe, DL signal decoding section 401 outputs the decoded information to UL/DL structure determination section 402 or special subframe structure determination section 403.
UL/DL configuration determining section 402 determines the UL/DL configuration to be applied by the user terminal based on the information on the UL/DL configuration notified from the radio base station. Further, UL/DL configuration determining section 402 outputs information on the UL/DL configuration of the application to control section 405 and the like.
Special subframe structure determining section 403 determines the special subframe structure to be applied by the user terminal, based on the information on the special subframe structure notified from the radio base station. In addition, special subframe structure determining section 403 outputs information on the UL/DL structure of the application to control section 405 and the like. In addition, information on the DMRS configured in the UpPTS may be included in the information on the special subframe structure.
As shown in fig. 7, when a table defining a special subframe structure including an extended UpPTS is used, special subframe structure determining section 403 can determine the special subframe structure based on information notified by broadcast information or RRC signaling. For example, when determining that the special subframe structure 10 in fig. 7 described above is applied, the special subframe structure determination unit 403 outputs this to the control unit 405.
As shown in fig. 8A and 8B, when the length of the UpPTS is changed in response to an instruction from the radio base station, special subframe configuration determining section 403 determines the special subframe configuration to be applied based on information included in a downlink signal (e.g., UL grant) and outputs the determined special subframe configuration to control section 405.
Control section 405 controls generation of an uplink control signal (feedback signal), an uplink data signal, and an uplink reference signal based on a downlink control signal (PDCCH signal) transmitted from the radio base station or a retransmission control determination result for a received PDSCH signal. The downlink control signal is output from DL signal decoding section 401, and the retransmission control determination result is output from determining section 404.
Further, control section 405 controls transmission of an uplink control signal, an uplink data signal, and an uplink reference signal based on information on the UL/DL structure outputted from UL/DL structure determining section 402 or information on the special subframe outputted from special subframe structure determining section 403. For example, based on the information on the special subframe, control section 405 extends the UpPTS constituting the special subframe more than the conventional UpPTS and controls the allocation of uplink signals.
In the case of the extended UpPTS, control section 405 can control the configuration (position, number of configurations, etc.) of the uplink DMRS based on the length of the UpPTS. For example, when the number of symbols of UpPTS is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, control section 405 sets 2 (2-symbol) uplink DMRSs. In the case shown in fig. 11, control section 405 sets 2 DMRSs when the number of UpPTS symbols is 6 or more, and sets 1 DMRS when the number of UpPTS symbols is 5 or less. In the case shown in fig. 12, control section 405 sets 2 DMRSs when the number of UpPTS symbols is 5 or more, and sets 1 DMRS when the number of UpPTS symbols is 4 or less.
Further, as the number of symbols of UpPTS increases, control section 405 can configure the distance of 2 DMRSs to be larger. Furthermore, control section 405 can change the allocation position of the first DMRS according to the length of the UpPTS and can fixedly (for example, 10 th OFDM symbol) set the allocation position of the second DMRS regardless of the length of the UpPTS.
Control section 405 also functions as a feedback control section that controls feedback of Channel State Information (CSI), transmission acknowledgement signals (a/N), and the like. In this case, control section 405 can control allocation of uplink control information (CSI such as CQI, PMI, RI, or a/N) in consideration of the DMRS set according to the number of symbols of the extended UpPTS. For example, control section 405 controls allocation of uplink control information to OFDM symbols adjacent to a DMRS configured in the extended UpPTS.
Further, control section 405 can control the allocation of DMRS and reference signal for channel quality measurement (SRS) to the extended UpPTS (see fig. 13 described above).
UL signal generating section 406 generates an uplink control signal (a feedback signal such as an acknowledgement signal or Channel State Information (CSI)) based on an instruction from control section 405. Further, UL signal generating section 406 generates an uplink data signal (user data) based on an instruction from control section 405. Further, UL reference signal generation section 408 controls generation of reference signals (DMRS, SRS, and the like) transmitted in the uplink.
Mapping section 407 (allocation section) controls allocation of radio resources to uplink control signals, uplink data signals, and uplink reference signals based on an instruction from control section 405. For example, mapping section 407 maps the uplink control signal, the uplink data signal, and the uplink reference signal to the extended UpPTS as shown in fig. 11 to 13, based on an instruction from control section 405.
While the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the above embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the present specification. The present invention can be implemented as modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention defined by the claims.
