Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting of the invention. It should be further noted that, for the convenience of description, only some of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings, not all of the structures. Throughout this specification, the same or similar reference numbers refer to the same or similar structures, elements, or processes. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a compensation adjustment apparatus of a display screen according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the compensation adjustment apparatus for a display screen includes a plurality of detection modules (not shown in fig. 1), a degradation information reading/writing board 3 and a processing terminal 4, where the detection modules are respectively disposed corresponding to sub-pixels in the display screen 2, for example, a detection module is disposed corresponding to each sub-pixel in the display screen 2, and the detection modules are configured to detect brightness parameters of the corresponding sub-pixels. For example, the detecting module may be a current sensor, each sub-pixel includes an organic light emitting structure, the luminance parameter may be a driving current flowing through the organic light emitting structure, the detecting module, that is, the current sensor, detects a magnitude of the driving current flowing through the corresponding organic light emitting structure, a luminance of the organic light emitting structure directly depends on the magnitude of the driving current flowing through the organic light emitting structure, and the detecting module may obtain the luminance information of the corresponding sub-pixel by detecting the driving current flowing through the corresponding organic light emitting structure.
The display screen 2 comprises a screen drive board 5, the processing terminal 4 is connected with the screen drive board 5 in the display screen 2 through the degradation information read-write board 3, the processing terminal 4 can be a computer, for example, and corresponds to a television complete machine with a display ghost problem, a technician is required to open the shielding of the rear shell of the television complete machine, so that the screen drive board 5 in the display screen 2 is exposed, and then the degradation information read-write board 3 and the processing terminal 4 are properly connected. After the connection relationship is completed, the processing terminal 4 may read the detected brightness parameter through the degradation information read-write board 3 and the screen drive board 5, for example, the detection module feeds back the brightness parameter to the screen drive board 5 in the display screen 2, and the degradation information read-write board 3 reads the brightness parameter to the processing terminal 4.
After acquiring the brightness parameters corresponding to each sub-pixel in the display screen 2, the processing terminal 4 generates the screening compensation data according to the brightness parameters and the initial brightness parameters of the corresponding sub-pixel, for example, the initial brightness parameters of the corresponding sub-pixel may be the driving current flowing through the corresponding sub-pixel when each sub-pixel is uniformly displayed in the corresponding display scene when the display screen 2 stored in the screen drive board 5 of the display screen 2 is shipped, the initial brightness parameters of the corresponding sub-pixel stored in the screen control board 5 are stored in the processing terminal 4 through the degradation information read-write board 3, after the processing terminal 4 acquires the brightness data fed back by the detection module, the brightness data corresponding to the same sub-pixel, for example, the driving current is subtracted from the initial brightness parameters, for example, the stored standard driving current to obtain the difference value of the driving current, and generates the screening compensation data according to the calculated difference value, the processing terminal 4 writes the screening compensation data into the screen driving board 5 in the display screen 2 for storage through the degradation information reading-writing board 3.
The screen driving board 5 in the display screen 2 receives screening compensation data corresponding to the sub-pixels to be compensated, which is transmitted from the processing terminal 4 through the degradation information read-write board 3, and the screen driving board 5 receives display data obtained by decoding and the like of image data of a picture to be displayed, which is transmitted from the processing terminal 4, and the screen driving board 5 adjusts and outputs the pixel data of the corresponding sub-pixels in the display screen 2 according to the received screening compensation data and the display data.
For example, the processing terminal 4 acquires that the actual driving current corresponding to a certain sub-pixel of the afterimage area in the display screen 2 is a, the standard driving current corresponding to the sub-pixel when the sub-pixel performs uniform display is b, and b is greater than a, the difference between b and a is c, c is the screening compensation data obtained by the processing terminal 4, the screening compensation data are transmitted to a screen driving board 5 through a degradation information read-write board 3, the screen driving board 5 obtains the screening compensation data output by a processing terminal 4 and also receives display data corresponding to a picture to be displayed, when the screen driving board 5 drives the sub-pixels in the display screen 2 to emit light, the screen driving board 5 may obtain a corresponding data signal according to a driving current value obtained by adding a driving current corresponding to the screening compensation data c to a driving current corresponding to the subpixel in the display data, and transmit the corresponding data signal to the subpixel in the display screen 2 through a corresponding data signal line.
Thus, by using the processing terminal 4 and the external devices such as the degradation read-write board 3, the processing terminal 4 can judge the degradation degree of the corresponding sub-pixel according to the brightness parameter fed back by the detection module, and compare the brightness parameter with the stored original brightness parameter to obtain the screening compensation data, when the screen driving board 5 controls the display screen 2 to display, the pixel data transmitted to the sub-pixel in the degradation area of the sub-pixel is compensated, so as to avoid the problem that the display product can only be returned as an abnormal screen or returned to the factory when the ghost appears, the display screen can be, for example, an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display screen, which also avoids the phenomenon that the same area of the television screen is lighted for a long time due to the current Light Emitting characteristic of the OLED display screen itself so that the pressure of the pixels arranged in the area is too large, the pixels are rapidly degraded, and the degradation degree of individual pixels is different due to the pressure difference accumulated on the pixels for a long time, the brightness difference that human eyes can catch is produced, and then the ghost problem that appears, the ghost can be eliminated in the display product short time that has realized the ghost that appears, has promoted the life of the 2 screen bodies of display screen greatly.
Optionally, the processing terminal 4 is configured to obtain multiple sets of compensation data in the same display scene according to the brightness parameter and the stored brightness fitting comparison curve, and transmit the multiple sets of compensation data to the screen drive board 5 through the degradation information read-write board 3, where the screen drive board 5 is configured to control the display screen 2 to display a display picture in which the multiple sets of compensation data are superimposed on the corresponding initial display picture, and the processing terminal 4 is configured to generate the screening compensation data according to the display comparison results of the multiple display pictures.
Illustratively, the display scenes may include at least a WRGB monochrome screen display scene and 2nA gradation level picture display scene, n beingThe display screen 2 can display the bits of gray scale, that is, the display scenes at least comprise a white pure color display scene, a red pure color display scene, a green pure color display scene, a blue pure color display scene, and 2 corresponding to each single color pure color display scenenThe display scene of the gray scale picture is a 32-level gray scale picture display scene corresponding to each single-color pure-color display scene, for example, the number n of bits of the gray scale which can be displayed by the display screen 2 is equal to 5, and the display scene of the television is mainly a display scene of a WRGB single-color picture and a 2-level gray scale picturenThe combination of the display scenes of the gray scale pictures can simulate the actual display pictures of the television to the maximum extent, shorten the time for adjusting the ghost compensation of the display screen 2 and improve the efficiency for compensating the ghost of the display screen 2.
Specifically, after the processing terminal 4 acquires the luminance parameters fed back by the detection module, that is, the degradation information of each sub-pixel, through the degradation information read-write board 3 and the screen drive board 5, the afterimage restoration software in the processing terminal 4 analyzes and contrasts the difference of the degradation degrees of the sub-pixels in different display scenes, and calculates the driving current required for the uniform afterimage compensation restoration of each pixel in the display screen 2 by referring to the standard luminance parameters of the sub-pixels of the factory WRGB monochrome picture display scene and the 32 gray scale picture display scene transmitted from the screen drive board 5. The luminance of the sub-pixels is not only related to the driving current flowing through the sub-pixels, but also related to the aging degree of the sub-pixels, and because the aging degree or the degradation degree of different pixel points are different, the mapping relationship between the driving current flowing through the sub-pixels and the luminance of the sub-pixels has a certain difference, even for the same display scene of the same display screen 2, the processing terminal 4 can still generate a plurality of groups of compensation data through calculation, that is, a plurality of picture compensation schemes are generated.
For example, in the same display scene, in order to compare the luminance parameter fed back by the detection module with the standard luminance parameter of the display screen 2 when the display screen 2 leaves the factory, the processing terminal 4 statistically stores a plurality of luminance fitting curves, each luminance fitting curve includes a corresponding relationship between the driving current flowing through the sub-pixel when the display screen 2 leaves the factory and the luminance of the sub-pixel, and after the standard luminance to which the corresponding sub-pixel needs to be adjusted is confirmed, the standard driving current can be obtained by inquiring the corresponding luminance fitting curve, so that the comparison with the actual driving current fed back by the detection module is realized.
Because the processing terminal 4 needs to consider the gender and age of the tv watching users when obtaining the plurality of brightness fitting curves through statistics, the types of the programs that the tv watching users with different genders and ages enjoy watching are different, the colors of the display pictures corresponding to the display screens 2 of the programs with different genders and ages are different as a whole, the brightness fitting curves obtained through statistics according to the factors such as the gender or age of the users are different, the brightness of the sub-pixels is not only related to the driving current flowing through the sub-pixels, but also related to the aging degree of the sub-pixels, the aging degree of the sub-pixels corresponding to the home theater watched by the user, the aging degree of the sub-pixels corresponding to the gun theater watched by the user and the aging degree of the sub-pixels corresponding to the comprehensive programs watched by the user are different, so that a plurality of brightness fitting curves exist for the same display scene of the same display screen 2, the processing terminal 4 can obtain a group of compensation data according to the brightness parameters fed back by the detection module and each brightness fitting curve, that is, a picture compensation scheme is obtained, the processing terminal 4 stores a plurality of different brightness fitting curves, and even if the processing terminal 4 is directed at the same display scene of the same display screen 2, the processing terminal 4 can still generate a plurality of groups of compensation data through calculation, that is, a plurality of picture compensation schemes are generated.
Because the processing terminal 4 generates a plurality of picture compensation schemes by calculation, it is necessary to further compare and judge to screen out the optimal picture compensation scheme, the processing terminal 4 calculates a plurality of sets of compensation data, after obtaining a plurality of picture compensation schemes, the degradation information read-write board 3 transmits a plurality of groups of compensation data under different display scenes to the screen driving board 5, the screen driving board 5 controls the display screen 2 to display the display pictures corresponding to the plurality of groups of compensation data, the actual compensation effect of each picture compensation scheme can be analyzed and recorded through the subjective judgment of technicians on a plurality of pictures displayed by the display screen 2, the best picture compensation scheme under the current display scene is selected from the actual compensation effects, the processing terminal 4 compares the actual compensation effects with the actual compensation effects according to the display of the plurality of pictures, that is, the analyzed optimal frame compensation scheme identifies the screening compensation data that is finally used to eliminate the degraded subpixel ghosting.
Illustratively, when the display screen 2 with the afterimages corresponds to the whole television, the screen images need to be subjectively analyzed in the follow-up work, and after the screen images are disassembled, the whole television still can be normally erected on a desktop, and the sight of workers is flush with the center of the television.
Optionally, the compensation adjustment apparatus further includes a photographing module (not shown in fig. 1), and the photographing module is configured to photograph the plurality of display frames and obtain display comparison results of the plurality of display frames according to the image data obtained by photographing. Specifically, different from the subjective judgment process of the foregoing personnel for multiple display frames, the display frames corresponding to multiple sets of compensation data displayed on the display screen 2 and controlled by the screen driving board 5 are photographed by using the photographing module, the photographing module obtains image data corresponding to different display frames, the photographing module can select an optimal frame compensation scheme in the current display scene through analysis of the image data obtained by photographing, and the processing terminal 4 confirms the screening compensation data finally used for eliminating the degraded sub-pixel residual image according to the display comparison results of multiple display frames, that is, the analyzed optimal frame compensation scheme.
Illustratively, after the processing terminal 4 confirms the optimal compensation scheme in each display scene, the processing terminal 4 writes the screened compensation data, i.e., the compensation data corresponding to the optimal compensation scheme, into the screen driving board 5 through the degradation information reading and writing board 3. After the display screen 2 is naturally cooled, whether the residual image compensation of the WRGB monochrome picture display scene and the 32-level gray scale picture display scene reaches the expected effect is confirmed again. If the expected effect is not met, returning the screened compensation data of the screen driving board 5 through the processing terminal 4, continuing subjective contrast analysis to confirm the optimal compensation scheme, and if the expected effect is achieved, completing the complete machine ghost recovery work.
Optionally, when the screen driver board 5 adjusts and outputs the pixel data of the corresponding sub-pixel in the display screen 2 according to the received screening compensation data and the received display data, the screen driver board 5 obtains a compensation area in the display screen 2, which needs to perform data compensation, when the sub-pixel in the compensation area is driven, the screen driver board 5 adjusts and outputs the pixel data of the corresponding sub-pixel in the compensation area according to a sum of the screening compensation data and the display data of the corresponding compensation area, and when the sub-pixel in the non-compensation area is driven, the screen driver board 5 adjusts and outputs the pixel data of the corresponding sub-pixel in the non-compensation area according to the display data of the corresponding non-compensation area.
Specifically, after the compensation process is completed, when the display panel 2 is turned on again to display the image, the image data corresponding to the image to be displayed output by the processing terminal 4 is not changed, that is, the display data received by the panel driving board 5 is not changed, but the display data is transmitted to the panel driving board 5, a compensation area in the display panel 2 that needs to be compensated for data may be stored in the panel driving board 5, when the sub-pixels in the compensation area are driven, the panel driving board 5 adjusts the pixel data output to the corresponding sub-pixels in the compensation area according to the sum of the filtered compensation data corresponding to the compensation area and the display data, that is, performs current compensation on the sub-pixels in the compensation area, when the sub-pixels in the non-compensation area are driven, the panel driving board 5 adjusts the pixel data output to the corresponding sub-pixels in the non-compensation area according to the display data corresponding to the non-compensation area, corresponding to the uncompensated area, the screen driving board 5 does not need to carry out compensation processing, so that the display picture of the whole machine is the same as the decoded output picture of the main chip, and the brightness of each pixel point in the display screen 2 is uniform, thereby eliminating the influence of the afterimage on the user viewing and prolonging the service life of the screen body.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 1, the display screen 2 further includes a main board 1, where the main board 1 is configured to adjust generated display data according to image data output by the processing terminal 4, the structure shown in fig. 1 is a compensation adjusting device after the television is completely disassembled, the main board 1 decodes the image data output by the processing terminal 4 to obtain corresponding display data and sends the corresponding display data to the screen drive board 5, and the screen drive board 5 controls the display screen 2 to display a corresponding picture according to the display data. The display screen 2 may further include a power supply board 8, and the power supply board 8 supplies power to the screen driving board 5 and the main board 1.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of another compensation adjustment device for a display screen according to an embodiment of the present invention. The compensation adjustment device is different from the compensation adjustment device with the structure shown in fig. 1 in that, as shown in fig. 2, the compensation adjustment device further includes a signal conversion board 6 and a display interface board 7, the display screen 2 no longer includes a main board, the compensation adjustment device with the structure shown in fig. 2 corresponding to a single-screen module is a compensation adjustment device with the structure shown in fig. 2, the signal conversion board 6 and the display interface board 7 externally disposed on the display screen 2 implement the function of the main board 1 in the display screen 2 shown in fig. 1, the signal conversion board 6 is used to convert a first control command output by the processing terminal 4 into a second control command and output the second control command to the screen drive board 5 through the display interface board 7, for example, the signal conversion board 6 converts a computer software control command sent by the processing terminal 4 into a display interface board control command, the screen drive board 5 processes display data according to the received display interface board control command converted according to the computer software control command, the display interface board 7 is configured to adjust the generated display data according to the image data output by the processing terminal 4, that is, the display interface board 7 decodes the image data output by the processing terminal 4 to obtain corresponding display data, and sends the display data to the screen driving board 5.
