Background
With the development of electronic and control technologies, the use of multi-core cables is becoming more and more common, and in some manufacturing enterprises or scientific research units, multi-core cables with plugs and sockets are often used in experiments or products. During the production, processing and use, the cables need to be tested so as to check whether each cable has the phenomenon of wrong and missing welding or open circuit. Usually, the universal meter is used for sequentially measuring the conduction condition one by one at two ends of a cable, the measurement is more complicated and error-prone for cables with more cores, and the measurement is time-consuming and labor-consuming for cables produced in large batch.
At present, some technologies and methods for detecting multi-core cables can play a certain role in a specified scene, and have a positive role in improving production efficiency, however, for some application scenes, the effect is not ideal, for example, cross welding errors of cable cores cannot be detected, and the like, which is easy to occur when the multi-core cables are manufactured in batch, so that a simpler and more reasonable scheme is needed to solve the problem.

The invention aims to provide a multi-core cable detection device which can detect and indicate the wrong welding and the missing welding of a multi-core cable and can detect whether an Integrated Circuit (IC) with a specified model can work normally.

voltage stabilizing unit (1): the multi-core cable detection device is provided with stable working voltage and is electrically connected with the IC detection unit (2), the pulse distribution unit (3) and the cable detection unit (4);
IC detection unit (2): the integrated circuit is provided with a selector switch, the selector switch is used for detecting whether the LM2904 integrated circuit can work normally when being switched off, and a high-frequency pulse signal is provided for the pulse distribution unit when the selector switch is switched on, and is electrically connected with the voltage stabilizing unit (1), the pulse distribution unit (3) and the first indicating unit (5);
pulse allocation unit (3): the pulse signals output by the IC detection unit (2) are circularly and alternately output and are electrically connected with the voltage stabilizing unit (1), the IC detection unit (2) and the cable detection unit (4);

The invention is formed by combining the units according to the conception, and the working principle is as follows: the LM2904 integrated circuit is used for generating a square wave signal, and the frequency of the square wave signal is changed by changing parameters: when the output is a low-frequency signal, the detection circuit is used for detecting whether the function of the LM2904 integrated circuit is normal or not; when the output is a high-frequency signal, the multi-core cable is used for detecting whether the multi-core cable is normal or not, and whether the cable has the problems of disconnection, insufficient soldering, wrong soldering and the like is judged by judging whether the LED which is easy to observe is lightened or not.
The invention has the advantages and effects that:

Referring to fig. 2, the device is powered by a simple and convenient linear voltage-stabilized power supply, J1 is a dc power input socket, U1 is a voltage-stabilized integrated circuit of type LM7812, and capacitors C1, C2 and C3 are filter capacitors.
Referring to fig. 3, the IC testing unit includes an IC socket U2, resistors R1-R5, R7-R10, capacitors C4-C6, and a selection switch S1, the IC socket U2 uses an IC testing socket with a locking structure, and an IC LM2904 is mounted on the socket.

The cable detection unit consists of cable sockets J2 and J3, triodes V1-V20 and resistors R24-R33, when the cores of the cable are correctly connected, the light-emitting diodes D1-D10 are alternately turned on and off at high frequency, and due to the characteristic of vision persistence of human eyes, the LED lamps D1-D10 are normally on; if the cable has problems such as disconnection, insufficient soldering and wrong soldering, corresponding LED lamps are not lighted, and which LED lamp is not lighted indicates that the corresponding core wire has problems. When the Q0 of the U3 outputs high level, if the 1 st core of the cable is correctly connected, the triodes V1 and V11 are both conducted, and the light-emitting diode D1 is lightened; if the 1 st core of the cable is disconnected or incorrectly connected, the collectors of the resistors R14, D1 and V11 cannot form an electric path, and the output levels of the other output pins Q1 to Q9 of the U3 are all low, so that the light-emitting diode D1 is extinguished, and the other light-emitting diodes D2 to D10 are also extinguished; when the ports Q0-Q9 of the U3 fast circulate to output high levels in turn, due to the characteristic of visual persistence of human eyes, the LED lamps correspondingly connected with correct cable cores are all lighted, and therefore the problem of the corresponding cable cores can be conveniently identified according to which LED lamp is not lighted.
