Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a cell access method, and a terminal.
Background
Compared with 4G LTE, one of the design ideas of 5G NR is to minimize the signal "always on" so as to reduce the system overhead (including air interface resources, device power consumption, etc.). Therefore, the 5G NR varies greatly in system message design. The 5G NR divides system messages into two categories: minimum SI (MIB and SIB1) and Other SI (OSI).
Among them, SIB1 provides the configuration necessary for the terminal to initiate random access, such as PRACH resource, OSI scheduling information, etc., and the minimum SI is periodically broadcasted. The OSI provides information such as cell reselection parameters (including same frequency and different frequency), public warning, etc., and there are three OSI transmission modes: the method comprises the steps of periodic broadcast, acquisition on demand and unicast, wherein the acquisition on demand mode means that a terminal acquires the required OSI through a random access mode. In the on-demand acquisition mode, when the terminal fails in the random access process, the current 3GPP protocol has no relevant processing flow.
Therefore, when the terminal fails in the random access process, the terminal may attach to the network for too long time or the service recovery of the terminal may be slow. Specifically, in the terminal startup, de-flying and re-serving area scenarios, the terminal receives SIB1 and then acquires the required OSI thereof in a random access manner, and if the terminal fails in random access, the terminal waits for a period of time and considers that system message reception fails, adds a cell to a cell forbidden list, and re-performs initial cell selection, where the waiting time in this case is relatively long (second level), which results in a long time for the terminal to attach to the network.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a cell access method provided in an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, including: s101, S102, and S103, specifically:
s101, selecting a target cell to be attached under a current 5G frequency point, receiving an SIB1 message sent by the target cell, and storing measurement information of the target cell, wherein the SIB1 message configures an OSI message sending mode to be a non-broadcast mode.
It is understood that a cell, also called a cell, refers to an area covered by a base station or a part of a base station (sector antenna) in a cellular mobile communication system, in which area a terminal can reliably communicate with the base station via a radio channel.
S102, initiating a random access process to the target cell to acquire OSI information, and if the acquisition of the OSI information fails, judging whether the signal quality of the target cell changes according to the stored measurement information.
Specifically, the embodiment of the present invention determines whether the Signal quality of the target cell changes by using a downlink Signal strength RSRP (Reference Signal receiving power) sliding window method. The downlink signal strength RSRP sliding window method is that received RSRPs are arranged in a time sequence, then a sliding window is arranged in the sequence, and the signal quality is judged by checking the size relation between the RSRPs in the sliding window and an RSRP reference point R.
S103, in the scene of starting up, releasing flight or returning to a service area of the terminal, if the signal quality of the target cell is not weakened, a random access process is initiated to the target cell again, and if the OSI message is successfully acquired, the system message is received and the network is attached to the target cell.
It should be noted that, in the cell access method of the embodiment of the present invention, in a scenario where a terminal is turned on, flies away, or returns to a service area, when an OSI request random access process fails, it is determined whether the signal quality of a cell changes according to measurement information, if the signal quality is not weakened, a random access process is initiated to the target cell again, and if an OSI message is successfully obtained, system message receiving and network attachment are performed in the target cell, so that the terminal can quickly select a better and more stable cell for communication, and user experience is improved.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiments, as an optional embodiment, the initiating a random access procedure to the target cell again includes:
if the OSI message is failed to be acquired again, adding the target cell into a cell forbidden list, and adding one to the number of times of attachment identification of the current 5G frequency point;
comparing the attachment identification times with a first preset threshold, and if the attachment identification times are smaller than the first preset threshold, reselecting a target cell to be attached;
and if the attachment identification frequency is not less than a first preset threshold, searching for a 5G frequency point which is supported by the terminal and is not scanned, and if the attachment identification frequency is not less than the first preset threshold, selecting a target cell to be attached at the 5G frequency point which is supported by the terminal and is not scanned.
The method for judging whether the signal quality of the target cell changes according to the downlink signal strength RSRP sliding window method specifically comprises the following steps:
setting the maximum length of a sliding window to be N times, wherein the initial value of an RSRP reference point R is the first RSRP measured by the terminal;
in the current sliding window, if the difference values of the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R for N times fluctuate in the range of [ -Ldbm, + Ldbm ], acquiring that the signal of the target cell is unchanged, sliding the starting point of the sliding window to the end point of the current sliding window, and setting the RSRP reference point R as the average value of the RSRP in the current sliding window;
if the difference value between the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is smaller than-Ldbm at least N/2 times continuously, acquiring that the cell signal is weakened, sliding the starting point of the sliding window to a target point, wherein the difference value between the first RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is smaller than-Ldbm, and setting the RSRP reference point R as the RSRP of the target point;
if the difference value of the RSRP measured at least N/2 times continuously in sliding and the RSRP reference point R is smaller than the minimum access frequency configured in the SIB1, the cell is considered to be unavailable;
and when the difference value of the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R measured at least N/2 times continuously is larger than + Ldbm, the cell signal is considered to be strengthened, the starting point of the sliding window is slid to a target point, the difference value of the first RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is larger than + Ldbm, and the RSRP reference point R is set as the RSRP of the target point.
A cell access method in a scenario where a terminal starts up, de-flies, or returns to a service area is described below with reference to a specific embodiment, specifically, the method includes:
s201, selecting a target cell to be attached under a current 5G frequency point, receiving an SIB1 message sent by the target cell, and storing measurement information of the target cell, wherein the SIB1 message configures an OSI message sending mode to be a non-broadcast mode;
s202, initiating a random access process to the target cell to acquire an OSI message, if successful, executing step S207, otherwise executing step S203;
s203, determining whether the signal quality of the target cell changes according to the stored measurement information, specifically:
setting the maximum length of a sliding window to be N times, wherein the initial value of an RSRP reference point R is the first RSRP measured by the terminal;
in the current sliding window, if the difference values of the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R for N times are fluctuated in the range of [ -Ldbm, + Ldbm ], acquiring that the signal of the target cell is unchanged, sliding the starting point of the sliding window to the end point of the current sliding window, setting the RSRP reference point R as the average value of the RSRP in the current sliding window, then sliding the starting point of the window to the end point, starting a new window, and executing the step S206;
if the difference between the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is less than-Ldbm at least N/2 times continuously, knowing that the cell signal is weakened, sliding the starting point of the sliding window to a target point of which the difference between the first RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is less than-Ldbm, setting the RSRP reference point R as the RSRP of the target point, and executing step S204;
if the difference value between the RSRP measured for at least N/2 consecutive sliding measurements and the RSRP reference point R is less than the minimum access frequency configured in the SIB1, the cell is considered to be unavailable, and step S204 is executed;
when the difference between the RSRP and the RSRP reference point R measured at least N/2 times consecutively is greater than + Ldbm, it is considered that the cell signal becomes strong, the start point of the sliding window is slid to the target point where the difference between the first RSRP and the RSRP reference point R is greater than + Ldbm, and the RSRP reference point R is set as the RSRP of the target point, and step S206 is executed;
s204, adding the cell into a cell forbidden list (the cells in the cell forbidden list cannot be listed in a candidate cell list within 5 minutes), and adding one to the frequency point attachment failure times;
s205, if the frequency point attachment frequency is smaller than a first preset threshold (for example, 2 is taken), selecting a second-strongest cell as a target cell for attachment, and returning to the step S202; if the frequency point attachment times are not less than the first preset threshold, executing step S208;
s206, initiating a random access process to the target cell again, if the OSI message is successfully acquired, executing the step S207, otherwise, returning to the step S204;
s207, receiving the system message and attaching the network in the target cell, and ending the process.
S208, if the frequency points supported by the rest terminals are not scanned, selecting the next frequency point to perform the cell initial selection process, and returning to the step S201; otherwise, all 5G frequency points are not available and are reduced to 4G.
On the basis of the above embodiments, there is also a scenario for the terminal to access the cell, that is, a cell reselection scenario, in the cell reselection scenario, if the terminal fails to access randomly, the terminal acquires the required OSI by the terminal in a random access manner after receiving the SIB1, and after waiting for a period of time, the terminal considers that the system message reception fails, and adds the cell to a cell barred list, thereby causing the cell reselection failure.
In order to solve the above problem, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for accessing a cell in a cell reselection scenario, specifically, selecting a target cell to be attached under a current 5G frequency point, specifically: and under the current 5G frequency point, in the reselection process, selecting a candidate cell set according to a reselection decision threshold, and selecting a target cell to be attached from the candidate cell set.
Correspondingly, the determining whether the signal quality of the target cell changes according to the stored measurement information further includes:
if the signal quality trend of the target cell is weakened or the cell is unavailable, deleting the cell from the candidate cell set, and reselecting the target cell to be attached;
if the signal quality of the target cell is not weakened, a random access process is initiated to the target cell again, if OSI information is successfully acquired, system information is received in the target cell, and the target cell is added into a reselection candidate set;
and after traversing of the cells in the candidate cell set is finished, ranking the cells in the reselection candidate set according to the latest signal quality, selecting the cell with the strongest signal quality for network residence, and ending the reselection process.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiments, as an optional embodiment, the selecting a candidate cell set according to a reselection decision threshold then further includes:
and if all the cells in the candidate cell set are unavailable, acquiring that the reselection process fails, and reselecting again after waiting for T.
It should be noted that, when the OSI request random access procedure fails, the network status is determined according to the history information, and whether the cell is available is quickly determined. If not, the cell is removed from the threshold candidate set, otherwise it is added to the reselection candidate set. And then sequentially selecting another cell for the SI request, and circulating the steps until all the cells in the candidate set are traversed. And if no suitable cell is resident, the reselection fails and punishment is carried out. And finally, selecting the strongest cell for residing according to the latest signal quality ranking. The embodiment of the invention enables the terminal to select the cell with better and more stable signal for residing, and lays a good foundation for subsequent user service experience.
A cell access method in a cell reselection scenario is described below with reference to a specific embodiment, specifically including:
in the reselection process, the terminal selects a candidate cell set according to a reselection decision threshold, and then the following steps are carried out:
step 301, if the candidate cell set is empty, execute step 307; otherwise, the terminal selects a cell from the threshold candidate set in turn, starts to receive the SIB1, and stores the terminal cell measurement information;
step 302, if the transmission mode of the OSI configured in SIB1 is a non-broadcast mode, the terminal initiates a random access process, if successful, step 306 is executed; otherwise, go to step 303;
step 303, determining whether the signal quality of the cell changes according to the historical cell measurement information;
it should be noted that the cell signal quality determination method adopts the determination method of step S203 in the scenario of terminal startup, deplaning or returning to the service area.
Step 304, if the cell signal quality trend is weak or the cell is unavailable, deleting the cell from the candidate cell set, and returning to execute step 301; otherwise, go to step 305;
step 305, the terminal tries to initiate the random access process again, if successful, step 306 is executed; otherwise, deleting the cell from the threshold candidate set, and returning to execute the step 301;
step 306, receiving system messages in the cell, adding the system messages into a reselection candidate set, ranking the cells in the reselection candidate set according to signal quality after traversing of the cells in the cell candidate set, selecting the cell with the strongest signal quality to perform network residence, and ending the reselection process;
and 307, knowing that all cells in the threshold candidate set are unavailable, considering that the reselection process fails, performing reselection punishment, and performing reselection again after waiting for time T (T can be set according to needs).
In the reconstruction scene after the terminal is successfully switched, the terminal receives SIB1 after entering IDLE state, then obtains the required OSI by random access mode, if the random access fails, the terminal does not process, but waits for a period of time and considers that the system message reception fails, adds the cell into the cell forbidden list, and performs cell selection again. The waiting time and the initial cell selection time are both longer (in seconds), which results in longer service interruption time and slow recovery of the terminal.
In order to solve the above problem, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for performing cell access in a reestablishment situation, specifically, a target cell performs system message receiving and network attachment, and then the method further includes:
if the reestablishment process is triggered, receiving a system message after the reestablishment initialization process is completed, and if the sending mode of OSI configured in SIB1 received by the terminal is a non-broadcast mode, initiating a random access process;
if the access is successful, a reestablishment request is initiated to the current cell so as to recover the terminal service;
if the access fails, judging whether the signal quality of the target cell changes according to the stored measurement information;
if the signal quality of the cell is weakened or the cell is unavailable, the cell selection process is carried out, and a proper cell is selected for attachment and service recovery.
If the signal quality of the cell is not weakened, the random access process is initiated again, and the OSI acquisition is tried again;
if the OSI failure is obtained, adding the current cell into a cell forbidden list, carrying out a cell selection process, and selecting a proper cell for adhesion and service recovery; if the OSI is successfully acquired, a reestablishment request is initiated to the current cell to recover the terminal service.
In this scenario, when the OSI request random access process fails in the reestablishment process after the handover is successful, if the base station configures measurement for the terminal, the network state is determined according to the historical measurement information, and whether the cell signal is jittered or not is quickly determined. If the data is jittering, the OSI request is executed again, the success of the reconstruction is ensured, and the service is recovered quickly; otherwise, adding the cell into the forbidden cell list, performing the cell selection process, and selecting a proper cell for service recovery. The method can overcome the influence on the service caused by the occasional jitter of the network signal quality, ensure the quick recovery of the communication service of the terminal and the base station as much as possible, and improve the service experience of users.
The method for performing cell access in the reconstruction position according to the embodiment of the present invention is described below with reference to a specific embodiment:
step one, after the terminal is successfully switched, a reestablishment process is triggered due to a certain condition.
After the reestablishment initialization process is completed, the terminal receives a system message.
Step two, if the transmission mode of the OSI configured in the SIB1 received by the terminal is a non-broadcast mode, the terminal initiates an SIrequest random access process. If the execution is successful, executing a step three; otherwise, executing step four.
And step three, the terminal initiates a reestablishment request in the cell, the terminal service is recovered, and the whole process is finished.
Step four, if the base station configures measurement for the terminal, judging whether the network quality is changed according to the historical measurement information, executing step five, otherwise executing step six.
It should be noted that the cell signal quality determination method adopts the determination method of step S203 in the scenario of terminal startup, deplaning or returning to the service area.
Step five, if the signal quality trend of the cell is weakened or the cell is unavailable, performing a cell selection process and executing the step one; otherwise, executing step six.
And step six, the SI request random access process is restarted, and the OSI acquisition is tried again. If the execution fails, the cell is added into a cell forbidden list, the cell selection process is carried out, and the seventh step is executed; otherwise, executing step three.
And step seven, executing all the steps in the scene one, selecting a proper cell to attach outside the cell, and recovering the terminal service.
