Further, the battery protection plate 13 is elongated and extends in the X direction. Since the cutout 136 is provided at one end of the battery protection plate 13, the battery protection plate 13 and the cutout 136 are arranged along X. The extension 125 is elongated. The battery protection plate 13 and the protruding portion 125 are stacked in the Z-axis direction, so that the battery protection plate 13 generates pressure on the protruding portion 125, thereby facilitating the sealing performance of the opening at the protruding portion 125.
When the battery protection plate 13 is disposed on the extension 125, the cutout 136 of the battery protection plate 13 corresponds to the notch 11 of the extension 125. It can be understood that the edge of the notch 136 of the battery protection board 13 is substantially flush with the edge of the notch 11 of the extending portion 125, so that the main board 2 can extend into the area where the notch 11 and the notch 136 are located, and the area of the notch 11 and the notch 136 is utilized to improve the internal compactness of the electronic device 100.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2 and 3, the main board 2, the battery protection plate 13 and the battery assembly 1 are arranged along the Y-axis direction. The length of the battery protection plate 13 in the X direction is smaller than the length of the main board 2 in the X direction and the length of the battery protection plate 13 in the X direction. Further, the second end 132 of the battery protection board 13 is retracted relative to the battery cells 12 and the main board 2, so that a gap 136 is formed between the second end 132 of the battery protection board 13 and the end surface of the battery assembly 1, and the gap 136 and the battery protection board 13 are aligned along the X-axis direction.
Taking the electronic device 100 as a mobile phone as an example, the first end 131 of the battery protection plate 13 may be an end close to the left side frame of the mobile phone, or an end close to the right side frame of the mobile phone. In this embodiment, the first end 131 of the battery protection plate 13 is taken as an example of an end close to the left side frame of the mobile phone.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 2 to 4, the first end 211 of the extending portion 21 is close to the battery cell 12. The second end 212 of the extension 21 is close to the second end 132 of the battery protection plate 13. The end surface of the third end 213 of the extension 21 is recessed relative to the end surface of the battery cell 12 or flush with the end surface of the battery cell 12. The third end 213 of the extension 21 is opposite to the second end 212 of the extension 21.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2 to 4, the extending portion 21 is disposed on a side of the main board 2 facing the battery assembly 1. The extension 21 has a second end 212 and a third end 213 disposed opposite to each other. Wherein the second end 212 and the third end 213 of the extension 21 are arranged along the X direction. The second end 212 of the extension portion 21 is close to the battery protection plate 13, and the second end 212 of the extension portion 21 and the battery protection plate 13 have only a small distance therebetween, so that the extension portion 21 and the battery protection plate 13 do not interfere with each other. The third end 213 of the extension 21 faces away from the battery protection plate 13. The end surface of the third end 213 of the extension portion 21 may be slightly recessed relative to the end surface of the battery cell 12 or flush with the end surface of the battery cell 12, so that the extension portion 21 does not protrude out of the area occupied by the battery assembly 1, which results in wasted space. The first end 211 of the extension 21 is as close to the battery assembly 1 as possible, and the first end 211 of the extension 21 is spaced from the battery assembly 1 only by a small distance so that the extension 21 and the battery assembly 1 do not interfere with each other.
By arranging the second end 212 of the extension part 21 as close to the battery protection plate 13 as possible, the first end 211 of the extension part 21 is arranged as close to the battery assembly 1 as possible, and the third end 213 of the extension part 21 does not exceed the edge of the battery assembly 1, so that the extension part 21 occupies as much area as possible of the notch 11 and the notch 136, and the compactness of the electronic device 100 is improved.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 5, the battery cell 12 includes a battery cell body 121, two tabs 122 and 123 connected to the battery cell body 121, and a package case 124 coated on an outer peripheral surface of the battery cell body 121. The two tabs 122 and 123 and the notch 11 are disposed on the same side and are staggered with each other, so as to prevent the notch 11 from affecting the conduction between the two tabs 122 and 123. The two tabs 122, 123 are disposed at intervals, and the notch 11 may be disposed on any one of two sides of the two tabs 122, 123. When the notch 11 is disposed on one side of the two tabs 122, 123, the connection trace between the two tabs 122, 123 extends from the other side of the two tabs 122, 123 and is electrically connected to the power management chip on the motherboard 2.
Further, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 5, when the packaging case 124 extends toward the main board 2 at a side portion of the battery assembly 1 close to the main board 2, a protruding portion 125 is formed. The two tabs 122, 123 protrude from the protrusion 125. The extending portion 125 is a sealing opening formed by overlapping aluminum plastic films on the upper and lower sides of the cell body 121. The extension 125 has a dimension in the Y-axis direction of about 2.7 mm. One end of the protruding portion 125 is provided with a notch 11 that is formed by inward shrinking relative to the cell body 121 and the main board 2. This breach 11 is that the border orientation that the extension 125 is close to mainboard 2 contracts about 1.8mm in deviating from the direction of mainboard 2, and the side of extension 125 contracts 11.8 ~ 15.8mm in the X direction and forms.
In one embodiment, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 5, the edge of the notch 11 is close to one of the two tabs 122, 123. In other words, the edge of the notch 11 is close to one of the two tabs 122, 123. That is, the notch 11 is disposed close to the tab to increase the size of the notch 11 in the X direction as much as possible and to reduce the influence of the notch 11 on the tab electrode and the circuit to which the tab is electrically connected.
In an embodiment, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 5, the battery protection board 13 includes a flexible circuit board 134 provided with a protection circuit 133. Specifically, the protection circuit 133 is disposed between the two tabs 122 and 123 and on a side of the two tabs 122 and 123 away from the notch 11. Two tabs 122, 123 extend from the package 124 and are electrically connected to a flexible circuit board 134. Further, two tabs 122, 123 protrude from the package 124 and electrically connect different soldering areas on the flexible circuit board 134 by spot welding or solder welding.
Further, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 5, the battery protection board 13 further includes a supporting board 135 supporting the flexible circuit board 134. The side of the flexible circuit board 134 provided with the protection circuit 133 faces the protruding portion 125. After the welding regions of the two tabs 122 and 123 are welded to the flexible circuit board 134, the two tabs 122 and 123 are bent so that the side of the flexible circuit board 134 provided with the protection circuit 133 is disposed on the extension 125. The supporting plate 135 is provided on a side of the flexible circuit board 134 not provided to the protection circuit 133. Further, the packaging case 124, the flexible circuit board 134 and the support plate 135 of the battery assembly 1 may be adhered by using adhesive tape to enhance the firmness among the packaging case 124, the flexible circuit board 134 and the support plate 135 of the battery assembly 1. One end of the flexible circuit board 134 extends out of the support plate 135 and the adhesive tape, and is bent to extend toward the main board 2 to be electrically connected to the main board 2.
Specifically, the protection circuit 133 is connected to a charge/discharge circuit of the battery pack 1 in the electronic device 100, and is configured to automatically turn off the power supply when the condition is met. The protection circuit 133 includes an overcharge protection circuit 133, an overdischarge protection circuit 133, and a short-circuit protection circuit 133.
