According to the film feeding mechanism of the strapping machine, when the film is fed each time, the upper and lower floating distance of the floating guide roller can be smaller, and the film storage length of the floating guide roller can be smaller than the film feeding length each time, because the speed reducer can be put into operation each time when the film is fed each time and the floating guide roller passes through the lower electric eye, and the unreeling shaft can be enabled to release a certain film length for compensation; because the action distance of the floating guide roller is small, the film feeding action can be realized more quickly, so that the strapping speed and the strapping quality of the strapping machine are ensured. The specific working principle is as follows: when the floating guide roller reaches the upper limit position, the upper electric eye sends a signal to control a brake cylinder to act, a brake block tightly presses the passing film on the rear guide roller, at the moment, a film sealing mechanism of the bundling machine starts to seal and bundle a box, meanwhile, the speed reducer delays to brake, the length of the film discharged by the discharging shaft in the delay time period enables the floating guide roller to return to the lower limit position from the upper limit position to wait for the next film feeding action, and the quick and accurate film feeding action is completed according to the circulation.
Preferably, two ends of the floating guide roller are connected with lifting sliding blocks, and the vertical movement of the lifting sliding blocks is guided by vertical guide posts arranged on the guide roller support.
