A kind of dust-removing and gas-absorbing attapulgite based mineral cat litter and its preparation method, selecting 85 parts of attapulgite with 55% attapulgite content and 0.105mm fineness, 2 parts of sodium carbonate and 27 parts of water, fully mixing, extruding, piling at room temperature for a week, mixing with 2.5 parts of activated zeolite, 3 parts of activated carbon and 7 parts of calcium carbonate, adding 0.2 part of edible oil, mixing and extruding into cake, drying the wet cake to water content of 7% -8%, then crushing the dried cake to particles smaller than 3mm with a sand making machine, sieving the particles, collecting 0.5-3mm particles, returning the powder smaller than 0.5mm to press cake, spraying the particles with industrial liquid sodium silicate glass 1.5 with modulus of 3.4 and sodium silicate solution diluted with 6 parts of water on the surface of the particles, drying again to obtain finished product particles with water content of 6% -7%, the mineral cat litter suitable for treating cat pets, it can also be used as mineral granule desiccant for other drying purposes.
Claims (2)
1. The attapulgite-based mineral cat litter with the dust-removing and gas-absorbing liquid is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: selecting 80-90 parts of attapulgite, 1-2 parts of sodium carbonate, 2-3 parts of activated zeolite, 2-5 parts of activated carbon, 5-8 parts of calcium carbonate, 0.1-0.3 part of edible oil, 1-2 parts of sodium silicate and 26-33 parts of water; the preparation method comprises the steps of fully mixing 80-90 parts of selected attapulgite, 1-2 parts of sodium carbonate and 22-25 parts of water, extruding, stacking at room temperature for one week, uniformly mixing with 2-3 parts of activated zeolite, 2-5 parts of activated carbon and 5-8 parts of calcium carbonate, adding 0.1-0.3 part of edible oil, mixing and extruding into a cake shape, drying a wet cake material to the moisture content of 7-8%, crushing the dried cake material into particles smaller than 3mm by using a sand making machine, screening and collecting the particles to obtain 0.5-3mm particles, spraying the particles with sodium silicate solution diluted by 1-2 parts of sodium silicate and 4-8 parts of water on the surface of the coated particles, and drying again to obtain finished particles with the moisture content of 6-7%, wherein the finished particles can be used as mineral cat litter for treating cat excrement and can also be used as a mineral particle drying agent for other drying purposes; wherein: the sodium silicate is industrial liquid sodium silicate with the modulus of 3.1-3.6, the selected attapulgite is attapulgite powder with the attapulgite content of more than 50% and the fineness of 0.105mm, the activated zeolite is zeolite powder with the ammonia absorption value of more than 90 mmol/100g and the fineness of 0.075mm, the activated carbon is activated carbon powder with the iodine absorption value of 800mg/g and the fineness of 0.105mm, and the calcium carbonate is powder with the calcium carbonate content and the whiteness of more than 80% and the fineness of 0.075 mm.
2. The method for preparing the attapulgite-based mineral cat litter with the dust and gas removed and absorbed in the claim 1 is characterized by comprising the following steps:
(1) selecting attapulgite: removing quartz and feldspar non-clay minerals from the attapulgite raw ore to obtain attapulgite with the attapulgite content of more than 50%, and grinding to the fineness of 0.105 mm;
(2) swelling attapulgite: mixing attapulgite, sodium carbonate and water, extruding, stacking at room temperature for one week to dissociate and expand attapulgite and montmorillonite;
(3) extruding and drying the ingredients: uniformly mixing the wet material expanded in the step (2) with activated zeolite, activated carbon and calcium carbonate, adding edible oil, mixing, extruding into a cake shape by using an extruder, and drying the cake-shaped wet material until the water content is 7-8%;
(4) sand making and screening: crushing the cake material dried in the step 3 into particles smaller than 3mm by using a sand making machine, screening the particles and collecting granules of 0.5-3mm, and returning powder smaller than 0.5mm to the step 3 for mixing and reuse;
(5) coating and drying: diluting industrial liquid sodium silicate with the modulus of 3.1-3.6 into sodium silicate coating liquid, spraying the 0.5-3mm granules obtained in the step 4 on the surface of the coated granules, and drying again to obtain finished granules with the water content of 6% -7%.
