Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a seating-reclining furniture having a seat part arranged on a frame, on which at least one upwardly projecting backrest is arranged, which backrest is displaceable and/or pivotable relative to the seat part and whose inclination is adjustable relative to the seat part.
Background
DE 10 2015 115 631 A1 discloses a seating-reclining furniture in which the backrest part on the seat part is adjustable for depth adjustment and also pivotable for inclination adjustment. This allows the seating position to be adapted to the needs of the user, but a portion of the seating area is always unused. Particularly in confined living spaces, it is desirable that the seating area can be used in conjunction with the backrest portion further and more flexibly.
Disclosure of Invention
The problem underlying the present invention is therefore to create a seating-reclining furniture that can be adapted flexibly, in particular in combination with a table, to the needs of the user.
The problem is solved by a seating-reclining furniture according to one aspect of the invention and a cell of another aspect of the invention having such a seating-reclining furniture and a table.
The seating-reclining furniture according to the invention comprises a seat part arranged on a shelf, on which at least one upwardly projecting backrest is arranged, which backrest is displaceable and/or pivotable relative to the seat part and whose inclination is adjustable relative to the seat part. The backrest is capable of carrying on both sides and is adjustable by at least one pivot fitting and fixable in opposite directions relative to the load. The backrest can thus bear forces in both directions, so that the seat part can be used on both sides of the backrest, so that the user can rest on the backrest accordingly. This enables a particularly flexible use of the seating-reclining furniture, and is thus particularly advantageous in a limited living space.
Preferably, the at least one backrest may be centrally located on the seat portion. Seating-reclining furniture can be used as freestanding individual furniture, enabling seating on both sides of a backrest. The backrest is preferably displaceable and/or pivotable over at least 50%, in particular at least 70%, of the depth of the seat part, so that, starting from a centrally located position, one seat area or the oppositely arranged seat area is enlarged. The backrest may preferably be displaced linearly along the guide, but also along the curved or curvilinear guide. Alternatively, the backrest can also be rotated about an axis, in particular a vertical axis. The backrest can also be displaced completely to the end of the long side of the seat part and can be pivoted downward at this end in order to be able to fully use the surface of the seat part, for example for a reclined position or as a foot rest part or leg rest.
For ease of handling, a driver may be arranged below the seating surface of the seat part to displace and/or pivot the backrest. For example, a motorized spindle drive may be used as the drive, wherein the spindle is rotatable relative to the spindle nut in order to effect the adjustment. Motorized drives via flexible traction drives may also be used. Alternatively, a gas spring or other actuator may also be provided. Preferably, a carriage is displaceably mounted in the seat part, to which at least one pivot fitting is attached for fixing the backrest. The pivot fitting may fit into a slot on the seating surface of the seat portion and retain the backrest. Advantageously, in this case the entire mechanism (for the seat depth adjustment and for the swivel mechanism) is arranged below the seat area of the seat part. This allows a very compact design of the entire seating-reclining furniture and safe storage of the mechanism without the possibility of disturbing the mechanism.
The at least one backrest may preferably be pivoted in one direction, advantageously in both directions, at least 60 °, in particular between 70 ° and 100 °, from the upright raised position. By pivoting on both sides, a total angle of at least 120 ° can be achieved. This means that the backrest can be used to extend the seating area as desired, either as a headrest or as an extension of the reclining area. The at least one backrest is preferably pivotable in both directions starting from a vertical alignment.
The pivot fitting is preferably lockable in various positions and can be carried in both directions, whereby the inclination of the backrest can be adjusted by means of a manually triggered actuation mechanism. The actuation mechanism may comprise, for example, a pivotable lever or slider for unlocking and locking.
In a preferred embodiment, the shelf comprises at least one leg element protruding from the seat part when seen from above. The backrest can then be displaced and rotated via the projecting leg elements, so that stable support, in particular the moment of tilting, is ensured, even in the case of the backrest projecting laterally beyond the seat part.
In order to be able to extend the area of the backrest, the backrest may comprise two sections which can be folded relative to one another and which are advantageously connected via friction and/or latching fittings. The pivot fitting can also be designed, for example, as disclosed in WO2016/113 173A1. The sections may then be folded together to achieve the seating position such that they together form a soft back, while the two sections are aligned substantially flush or curved and then form a reclined area for extending the seat or reclined area. In yet another application, the backrest may also be deployed in substantial vertical alignment to obtain visual separation of the two seating areas.
On seating-reclining furniture, preferably, two independently displaceable backrests may be arranged adjacent to each other on the seat portion. This means that each seat can be used individually from one side or from the other. Optionally, the seating-reclining furniture may further include more than two backrests movably retained on the seat portion.
Advantageously, the seating-reclining furniture further comprises one or more footrest portions pivotally attached to the shelf at one end of the seat area and adjustable in height. Alternatively, the foot rest portion may be provided to provide a comfortable leg rest in the seating position or to enlarge the recline area when used as a reclining furniture with the backrest in the maximally lowered position.
In yet another embodiment, the seating-reclining furniture forms a unit with the table, wherein at least one backrest is displaceable toward and away from the table. Seating-reclining furniture can then optionally be used as a seat that enables sitting at a table, and seating furniture can be used as a sofa when the backrest is moved toward the table.
For a compact design, the shelves of the seating-reclining furniture may be connected to the table frame of the table. An adjustment mechanism may be provided on the stand by which the seat portion may be moved from a position adjacent the table top to a position remote from the table top when the table top is viewed from above in a top view. Thus, the seat portion may be arranged particularly compactly with the table and may then be moved away from the table top in a top view as required to achieve a comfortable seating. The adjustment mechanism may include a curved guide to enable smooth movement of the seat portion relative to the table. In yet another embodiment, the superhydrophobic two end positions can be locked by the latching recess along the curved guide.

Detailed Description
The seating-reclining furniture 1 comprises a padded seat portion 2 which is supported on a frame 3 by a plurality of leg elements. A side rest 4 is provided on opposite ends of the seat part 2 and two backrests 5 are arranged on the upper side, but alternatively only a single backrest 5 or more than two backrests 5 may be provided. The seating-reclining furniture 1 can be used as a sofa together with the backrest 5 or as a reclining furniture.
The table 6 is arranged on one long side of the seating-reclining furniture 1, and includes a table top 7 held on a table frame 8. The table frame 8 may be connected to the frame 3 of the seating-reclining furniture 1. The table top 7 is formed in several parts and comprises a pivotable section 9 which is designed to be foldable.
In fig. 2, the unit comprising the seating-reclining furniture 1 and the table 6 is shown in a use position for using the table 6. For this purpose, the seating-reclining furniture 1 can be moved on the shelf 3 to a second position away from the table 6. The pivotable section 9 of the table top 7 has been folded down and now extends the table top 7 over the table top stand 8. The backrest 5 is in a centrally located position on the seat portion 2 such that there is a sufficient seating area on the side of the table 6 for a user to sit substantially in an upright position alongside the table 6. Alternatively, the table 6 may be height adjustable such that the table height may be adjusted relative to the seating-reclining furniture 1.
The backrest 5 comprises two foldable sections 50 and 51, which are shown in a folded position in fig. 2 and are connected to each other via a folded edge 52. Friction and/or latching fittings may advantageously be provided in the region of the folded edge 52 in order to adjust the position of the two foldable sections 50 and 51 of the backrest 5 relative to each other.
On the side facing away from the table 6, it is also possible to use the seat part 2, where a foot rest part 10 is adjustably held on the shelf 3 or the seat part 2, which foot rest part is shown in an upwardly folded position. The foot rest portion 10 is fixed to a holder 12 of the shelf 3 via a lever 11 and can be rotated under the seat portion 2 as required.
In the top view of fig. 3 it can be seen that the footrest section 10 rotates on only one seat of the seat section 2, but two or more footrest sections 10 may alternatively be provided on the shelf 3. The backrest 5 is located in a substantially centrally located position on the seat portion 2.
In fig. 4, the seating-reclining furniture 1 is shown without the table 6, and it can be seen that the shelf 3 comprises a leg member 19 which protrudes laterally on the seat part 2 in a top view. In fig. 4, the backrest 5 has been completely displaced to the long side of the seat part 2 and the two sections 50 and 51 of the backrest have been unfolded so that the surface of the seat part 2 has been extended to obtain a reclined position. The backrest 5 is in a rotated position above the leg elements 19, so that the gravitational force on the backrest 5, which can in particular generate a tilting momentum of the seating-reclining furniture 1, can be dissipated via the leg elements 19.
A plurality of leg members 19 may be provided along the length of the seat portion 2. Fig. 5 shows a top view of a seating-reclining furniture 1 with two unfolded backrests 5.
Fig. 6 shows a top view of a section of a seating-reclining furniture 1, with fittings for moving the backrest 5. The guide rail 20 is fixed to the carriage 3, and the carriage 21 is movably held along the guide rail 20. The carriage 21 can be moved via a motorized drive (e.g. a spindle drive), whereby the distance travelled by the carriage 21 is at least 50%, in particular at least 70%, of the depth of the seat part 2.
The pivot fitting 24 is fixed to the carriage 21. As can be seen in the side view of fig. 7, the pivot fitting 24 comprises an arm 22 which is fixed to the carriage 21 via a bracket 23. The pivot fitting 24 comprises a rotatable upwardly projecting pivot lever 25 on which a plate-shaped bracket 26 for the backrest 5 is held. The pivot rod 25 or the plate-shaped bracket 26 protrudes through the upper side of the seat part 2, in which upper side a slot-shaped recess for the pivot rod 25 or the plate-shaped bracket 26 is provided. The pivot fitting can be carried in both directions, since in the position shown in fig. 7 the pivot lever 25 is fixed in both the clockwise direction and in the opposite direction. Here, the pivot fitting can be locked in various positions. The inclination of the pivot lever 25 relative to the arm 22 can be adjusted by means of a manually triggered actuating mechanism 27. After unlocking the pivot fitting 24 by means of the actuating mechanism 27, the pivot fitting 24 can be moved almost steplessly from any position to any position and locked there. The pivot fitting 24 may be formed as disclosed in DE 10 2021 109 079 A1, which is hereby incorporated by reference.
In fig. 8, the backrest 5 on the seat part 2 has been moved to the end position on the right-hand side of the seat part 2, and the carriage 21 is in the end position on the guide rail 20. In this position, the seat part 2 can now be used as a sofa with an upright seating position. The backrest 5 can now be tilted from an upright position relative to the surface of the seat part 2 via the pivot fitting 24, as shown in fig. 9. For this purpose, the pivot fitting 24 is unlocked via the actuating mechanism 27 and then the desired inclination of the backrest 5 is set. This achieves an inclined seating position. Alternatively, the pivot fitting 24 can now be unlocked again and rotated further, as shown in fig. 10. In this position, the backrest 5 extends a seat area at the top of the seat portion 2, and thus, the seating-reclining furniture 1 can be used as reclining furniture. As already shown in fig. 4, the backrest 5 may be optionally unfolded to enlarge the recline area when the seat portion 2 is extended. Optionally, the otherwise attached footrest portion 10 can further expand the recline area upon deployment.
In fig. 11, the backrest has been moved to the left end position along the guide rail 20. In this position the seat part 2 with the surface on the right side of the backrest 5 can now be used for sitting or reclining.
Fig. 12 shows the cell again comprising the seating-reclining furniture 1 and the table 6, with the fitting parts of the seating-reclining furniture 1 shown in solid lines, even if these are not visible in the assembled position. The seat part 2 is supported on the opposite side by a carriage 30 on a shelf 3. The sledge 30 comprises two curved guides 31 in order to be able to position the seat part 2 differently with respect to the table 6. The curved guides 31 each have a latching recess at their ends in order to fix the respective end positions. In fig. 12, the seat part 2 is at least partly below a table top 7, which table top extends through a folded-down section 9. Thus, the seat part 2 is arranged with only a small clearance from the table frame 8, so that only a small storage space is required, but it is not possible to sit beside the table 6.
The support elements 32 and 33 are fixed on the shelf 3, which are engaged in the curved guide 31 by sliding elements or rollers and are shown in fig. 12 in a first end position. If the seat part 2 is now to be moved to the second position for use of the table 6, the seat part 2 can be moved along the curved guide 31 until the position shown in fig. 13 is reached. In a top view from above, the seat part 2 is now located beside the table 6 and is arranged completely beside the table top 7 with the extended section 9, so that the seat can be comfortably occupied by the user. In this position the roller or sliding element has been moved along the curved guide 31 to the second end position such that the seat part 2 is arranged at a significantly greater distance from the table frame 8. The backrest 5 can now be moved to the desired position to enable a comfortable sitting beside the table 6. In the end position of the guide, the seat part 2 can be latched in place or fixed in the holder to prevent displacement.
In the example of embodiment shown, the two backrests 5 are arranged beside each other on the seat part 2 and are each removably held by means of an accessory unit. It is also possible to provide only a single backrest 5 on the seat part 2. In addition, the height and shape of the backrest 5 may vary. Instead of a foldable design, a displaceable cushion without folds may also be used.
