Abstract
一种含氟共聚物,其中,所述含氟共聚物是以(A)通式CnF2n+1(CH2CF2)a(CF2CF2)b(CH2CH2)cOCOCR=CH2(R为氢原子或甲基,n为1~6,a为1~4的整数,b为1~3,c为1~3)、(B)通式CH2=CRCOOR1(R为氢原子或甲基,R1为可含有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的烃基)、(C)通式CH2=CRCOO(H)p(R2Y)q(R为氢原子或甲基,p、q为0或1,p+q为1,R2为可具有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的2价的烃基,Y为磷酸基)、以及(D)通式CH2=CRCOOR3OCOCR=CH2(R为氢原子或甲基,R3为可含有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的2价的烃基)为共聚物单元,且以(B)成分为1~50重量%、(C)成分为0.01~5重量%、(D)成分为0.01~2重量%的比例共聚而得到的。该含氟共聚物可提供防水防油性、防锈性等优异的基材表面改性膜。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及含氟共聚物和使用其的表面改性基材。更详细地说,涉及能够提供防水防油性、防锈性等优异的表面改性膜的含氟共聚物及使用该含氟共聚物的表面改性基材。
背景技术
作为据说生物蓄积性低的、包含具有C6以下的全氟烷基的聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物的共聚物的含氟聚合物以及以该含氟聚合物为有效成分的表面改性剂,本申请的申请人曾提出了一种含氟共聚物以及以该含氟共聚物为有效成分的表面改性剂(专利文献1),该含氟共聚物包含下述(A)、(B)的至少一种的共聚物。

而且,虽然记载了在该含氟聚合物中可以以10重量%以下的比例共聚乙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯等多官能性单体,但如后述比较例1所述,在共聚2.33重量%的乙二醇二甲基丙烯酸酯的情况下,反应产物成为凝胶,不能以共聚物溶液的形式得到。

发明内容
发明所要解决的技术问题
本发明的目的在于提供一种含氟共聚物及使用该含氟共聚物的表面改性基材,该含氟共聚物能够以共聚物溶液的形式得到,可以解决能够提供防水防油性、防锈性等优异的表面改性膜这样的课题。
用于解决课题的方案
上述本发明的第一目的通过一种含氟共聚物而实现,所述含氟共聚物是以下述(A)、(B)、(C)以及(D)为共聚物单元,且以(B)成分为1~50重量%、(C)成分为0.01~5重量%、(D)成分为0.01~2重量%的比例共聚而得到的,其中,
(A)由通式〔I〕表示的聚氟烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,
CnF2n+1(CH2CF2)a(CF2CF2)b(CH2CH2)cOCOCR=CH2 〔I〕
(其中,R为氢原子或甲基,n为1~6的整数,a为1~4的整数,b为1~3的整数,c为1~3的整数);
(B)由通式〔II〕表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,
CH2=CRCOOR1 〔II〕
(其中,R为氢原子或甲基,R1为可含有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的烃基);
(C)由通式〔III〕表示的含官能团的(甲基)丙烯酸或其酯,

此处,(甲基)丙烯酸是指丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸。
另外,本发明的第二目的是通过表面改性基材来实现的,所述表面改性基材由包含含氟共聚物及其溶剂的涂布组合物形成了表面改性膜。
发明效果
将多官能(甲基)丙烯酸酯作为必须共聚单元、并将其共聚比例在共聚物中设为2重量%以下的本发明的含氟共聚物与其溶剂一起形成均匀的涂布组合物。
由该涂布组合物在基材上形成的表面改性膜的防水防油性、防锈性、抑制锈从刮痕扩散的抑制性、防潮性等优异。
需要说明的是,将包含上述〔I〕、〔II〕和〔III〕的含氟聚合物作为有效成分的防锈剂在专利文献2中也有记载,但如后述的实施例1-比较例3的对比所示,通过将特定少量的上述〔IV〕作为含氟聚合物的必要成分,可更进一步改善防水防油性和抑制锈从刮痕扩散的抑制性。

聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物可以单独作为一个单体即含氟聚合性单体使用,但也可以其一部分、具体而言在含氟聚合性单体总量中约30重量%以下的范围内与其他含氟聚合性单体合并使用。

作为可以与聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物〔I〕共聚、或与该衍生物〔I〕和其他含氟聚合性单体〔V〕共聚的不含氟原子的聚合性单体,可以使用由上述通式〔II〕、〔III〕和〔IV〕表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯。
作为(B)成分即由通式〔II〕表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,例如可以使用用甲基、乙基、丙基、异丙基、正丁基、正己基、2-乙基己基、正辛基、月桂基、硬脂基等烷基、环己基等环烷基、苄基等芳烷基酯化的丙烯酸酯或甲基丙烯酸酯。另外,(B)成分的R1也可以含有氧原子。
作为(C)成分即由通式〔III〕表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,除了(甲基)丙烯酸以外,还可以使用例如2-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基甲基酸式磷酸酯(2-(meth)acryloyloxy methyl acidphosphate)、2-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基乙基酸式磷酸酯、2-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基乙基酸式磷酸酯等具有磷酸基的(甲基)丙烯酸酯。另外,(C)成分的R2也可以含有氧原子。
作为(D)成分即由通式(IV)表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,例如可以使用乙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、丙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、1,4-丁二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、1,6-己二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、1,9-壬二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、新戊二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、四乙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、三丙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚丙二醇二(甲基)丙烯酸酯、双酚A-环氧乙烷加成物二丙烯酸酯、二羟甲基三环癸烷二丙烯酸酯、甘油甲基丙烯酸酯丙烯酸酯(glycerinmethacrylate acrylate)、3-丙烯酰氧基甘油单甲基丙烯酸酯等。另外,(D)成分的R3也可以含有氧原子。
这些含官能团的(甲基)丙烯酸酯在含氟共聚物中以约1~50重量%、优选约10~40重量%的比例含有(B)成分,以约0.01~5重量%、优选约0.1~2重量%的比例含有(C)成分,以约0.01~2重量%、优选约0.1~2重量%的比例含有(D)成分。如果含有更多的(D)成分,则共聚反应产物变得凝胶化。
聚合反应时,从操作简便性的观点出发,优选在包含1,4-双(三氟甲基)苯、1,1,1,2,2-五氟-3,3-二氯丙烷、1,1,2,2,3-五氟-1,3-二氯丙烷、1,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,5-十氟戊烷、全氟己烷等氟系有机溶剂中的至少一种的有机溶剂中进行聚合反应。
作为相对于共单体总量以约0.1~4重量%、优选约0.5~2重量%的比例使用的引发剂,可以使用过氧化二酰基、过氧化碳酸酯、过氧化酯等,具体而言,可以使用过氧化异丁酰、过氧化月桂酰、过氧化硬脂酰、过氧化琥珀酸、过氧化双(七氟丁酰基)、过氧化五氟丁酰基、双(4-叔丁基环己基)过氧化二碳酸酯、过氧化二碳酸二正丙酯、过氧化二碳酸二异丙酯等有机过氧化物,根据聚合方法的不同,也可以使用偶氮化合物、无机过氧化物或其氧化还原体系。根据反应条件、组成比的不同而存在聚合反应难以进行的情况,但针对该情况也可以在聚合反应的中途再次追加使用聚合引发剂。
另外,为了进行分子量的调整,也可以根据需要使用链转移剂,作为链转移剂,例如可以使用二甲醚、甲基叔丁基醚、C1~C6的烷烃类、甲醇、乙醇、2-丙醇、环己烷、四氯化碳、氯仿、二氯甲烷、甲烷、乙酸乙酯、丙二酸乙酯、丙酮等。
共聚反应使用这些反应溶剂、反应引发剂等在约0~100℃、优选约5~70℃、特别优选约40~70℃的反应温度下进行。反应结束后,得到固态成分浓度约为5~30重量%的共聚物溶液,通过从该反应混合物中除去溶剂,得到含氟共聚物。
关于共聚反应中使用的聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物共聚物〔I〕,通过气相色谱分析未反应的残留共单体,结果确认几乎完全共聚。
聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物的共聚物的制造方法不限于这样的溶液聚合法,例如也可以使用以水为分散介质、含有非离子表面活性剂和/或阳离子表面活性剂的悬浮聚合法、乳液聚合法等。
这样得到的聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物的共聚物通过蒸发干固的方法、添加无机盐等凝集剂使其凝集的方法等分离,并通过用溶剂等进行清洗的方法进行纯化。所得的共聚物的重均分子量Mw利用高速液相色谱法表示,其值为约2,000~20,000,000。
对于通过溶液聚合法而得到的聚合物溶液,进一步通过1,4-双(三氟甲基)苯、1,3-双(三氟甲基)苯等氟系有机溶剂、优选与聚合反应中所使用的相同的有机溶剂将其固态成分浓度稀释至约0.01~30重量%、优选约0.05-5重量%从而形成涂布组合物,并用作表面改性剂。对于通过水系乳液聚合法、悬浮聚合法等得到的聚合物,可以直接或用水将固态成分浓度稀释至约0.1~10重量%后制备为水性分散液,或者也可以通过在聚合反应液中添加凝集剂使聚合物凝集,并将用水或有机溶剂清洗而分离出的共聚物分散在水中或溶解在含氟有机溶剂中,从而制备为水性分散液或有机溶剂溶液。作为水性分散液,优选使用含有20%以下的表面活性剂和水溶性有机溶剂的分散液。该水性分散液或有机溶剂溶液例如可以作为防水防油剂、油阻隔剂(Oil barrier)等表面改性剂使用。
在包含该共聚物的水性分散液或它们的氟系有机溶剂溶液的涂布组合物中,作为其他添加剂还可以添加三聚氰胺树脂、尿素树脂、封端异氰酸酯等交联剂、聚合物扩链剂(polymer extender)、有机硅树脂或油、蜡等其他防水剂、防虫剂、防静电剂、染料稳定剂、防皱剂、染色阻滞剂(stain blocker)等表面改性剂用途所需的添加剂。
这样得到的表面改性剂可作为防水防油剂、防锈剂等有效地应用于由金属、纸、薄膜、纤维、布、织布、地毯或长丝、纤维、纱线等制成的布帛制品等基材上。
作为对这些基材的涂布组合物的应用方法,通常使用涂布、浸渍、喷雾、填充、辊涂或它们的组合方法等,例如通过使浴的固态成分浓度为约0.1~10重量%,作为垫浴(padbath)使用。在该垫浴中垫上被处理材料,然后用挤压辊除去过剩的液体并干燥,使得附着于被处理材料的聚合物量达到约0.01~10重量%,形成表面改性膜。之后,根据被处理材料的种类,通常在约100~200℃的温度下进行约1分钟~约2小时左右的干燥,结束防水防油处理、防锈处理等。
其结果,形成了具有由涂布组合物形成的表面处理膜的防水防油性基材、防锈性基材、防锈·涂布性基材等。
实施例
接着,通过实施例具体说明本发明。需要说明的是,本发明包括效果在内并不限定于该实施例。
实施例1
在具备冷凝器的容量300ml的反应容器中加入CF3(CF2)3(CH2CF2)(CF2CF2)2(CH2CH2)OCOCH=CH2(氟单体A)69.1g(86.35重量%)、甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MM A)10.1g(12.62重量%)、甲基丙烯酸(MAA)0.38g(0.48重量%)、乙二醇二甲基丙烯酸酯(EGDMA)0.44g(0.55重量%)、C4F9OC2H5(3M公司制品N ovec 7200)140.6g、和1,3-双(三氟甲基)苯60.3g,边搅拌边用氮气进行30分钟置换。向反应容器中进一步添加偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN)0.42g后,将反应容器内温度缓慢提升至68℃,边搅拌边在该温度下进行21小时共聚反应。
反应结束后进行冷却,得到无色透明的粘性高的共聚物溶液。用气相色谱分析法对未反应的残留共单体进行分析,结果确认了共聚反应中使用的全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
实施例2
在实施例1中,将EGDMA的量变更为1.6g(1.97重量%),确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
实施例3
在实施例1中,代替MMA,使用甲基丙烯酸苄酯(BzMA)10.1g(12.62重量%),确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
实施例4
在实施例1中,代替氟单体A,使用CF3(CF2)3(CH2CF2)(CF2CF2)2(CH2CH2)O COC(CH3)=CH2(氟单体B)69.1g(86.59重量%),确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
实施例5
在实施例1中,代替MAA,使用2-甲基丙烯酰氧基乙基酸式磷酸酯(共荣社化学制品P-1M)0.38g(0.48重量%),并将C4F9OC2H5的量变更为112.5g、将1,3-双(三氟甲基)苯的量变更为48.2g,此外使用异丙醇(IPA)40.2g,确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
比较例1
在实施例1中,将EGDMA的量变更为1.9g(2.33重量%),但在21小时后反应容器中成为凝胶,没有得到共聚物溶液。
比较例2
在实施例1中,未使用MAA。确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
比较例3
在实施例1中,未使用EGDMA。确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
比较例4
在实施例1中,未使用MAA和EGDMA。确认到全部共单体的转化率为99%以上,进行了共聚反应。
使用各实施例和比较例2~4中得到的共聚物溶液,进行接触角测定、防锈性评价和防潮性测定(仅实施例1)。
〔接触角测定〕
向共聚物溶液中添加C4F9OC2H5和1,3-双(三氟甲基)苯,将共聚物溶液的固态成分浓度稀释至2重量%,将该稀释液1ml均滴加至2×5cm的铝板,旋涂后,在120℃下干燥10分钟,制作试验片。
对于所制作的试验片,对水和正十六烷实施作为防水、防油性能的一个指标的静态接触角的测定(通过卧滴法Sessiledrop method)和滚动角的测定(通过滑落法)。
将所得到的结果示于如下的表1。

根据上述表1的接触角测定结果,在实施例1~5中确认了高防水防油性。另外,确认了实施例1~5的共聚物与比较例2~4中得到的共聚物相比,相对于水和正十六烷的滚动角非常低,液体除去性优异。
〔防锈性评价〕
防锈性评价通过盐水喷雾试验(JIS Z 2371)来进行。作为基材,可以使用70×150×1.0mm的铝、铜或SPCC试验片,使其浸渍于各含氟共聚物的C4F9OC2H5和1,3-双(三氟甲基)苯的混合溶液(7:3v/v)中,进行试验片的表面处理。将得到的涂布试验片作为未加工。另外,在未加工试验片的涂膜上,用刀具在试验片的对角线方向上划2道痕,将其作为有交叉切割。
通过目视观察盐水喷雾240小时和1000小时后的外观,如下述表2那样进行评价。

所得到的结果示于如下的表2中。

根据上述表2的盐水喷雾试验的结果,实施例1~5的共聚物与比较例2~4中得到的共聚物相比,在1000小时的长期试验后也几乎没有观察到锈,确认了良好的防锈性。
此外,还确认了实施例5的共聚物与比较例2~4中得到的共聚物相比,抑制了锈从划痕扩散。
〔防潮性评价〕
防潮性通过透湿度(杯法、JIS Z 0208)进行评价。在聚酰亚胺薄膜上制膜,将得到的膜剥离作为评价样品。实施例1的透过度(g/m2·24H)为190。
Claims (10)
1.一种含氟共聚物,其中,所述含氟共聚物以下述(A)、(B)、(C)以及(D)为共聚物单元,且以(B)成分为1~50重量%、(C)成分为0.01~5重量%、(D)成分为0.01~2重量%的比例共聚而得到的,
(A)由通式〔I〕表示的聚氟烷基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,
CnF2n+1(CH2CF2)a(CF2CF2)b(CH2CH2)cOCOCR=CH2〔I〕
其中,R为氢原子或甲基,n为1~6的整数,a为1~4的整数,b为1~3的整数,c为1~3的整数;
(B)由通式〔II〕表示的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,
CH2=CRCOOR1〔II〕
其中,R为氢原子或甲基,R1为可含有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的烃基;
(C)由通式〔III〕表示的含官能团的(甲基)丙烯酸或其酯,
CH2=CRCOO(H)p(R2Y)q〔III〕
其中,R为氢原子或甲基,p、q为0或1,p+q为1,R2为可具有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的2价的烃基,Y为磷酸基;
(D)由通式〔IV〕表示的多官能(甲基)丙烯酸酯,
CH2=CRCOOR3OCOCR=CH2〔IV〕
其中,R为氢原子或甲基,R3为可含有氧原子的碳原子数1~30的直链状、支链状或环状的2价的烃基。
2.根据权利要求1所述的含氟共聚物,其中,所述含氟共聚物是进一步共聚有由通式〔V〕表示的含氟聚合性单体而得到的,

其中,R为氢原子或甲基,R4为碳原子数1~6的直链状或支链状亚烷基,R5为碳原子数1~4的低级烷基,Rf为碳原子数1~6的全氟烷基,m为0或1。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的含氟共聚物,其中,聚氟烷醇(甲基)丙烯酸衍生物〔I〕或〔I〕与含氟聚合性单体〔V〕这两者、与(甲基)丙烯酸或其酯〔III〕、〔IV〕及〔IV〕以重量比计1~99:99~1的比例共聚。
4.一种涂布组合物,其中,所述涂布组合物包含权利要求1或2所述的含氟共聚物和其溶剂。
5.根据权利要求4所述的涂布组合物,其中,溶剂为有机溶剂。
6.根据权利要求5所述的涂布组合物,其中,有机溶剂为氟系溶剂。
7.一种基材,其中,由权利要求4~6中任一项所述的涂布组合物形成表面改性膜。
8.根据权利要求7所述的基材,其中,表面改性膜为防水防油膜。
9.根据权利要求7所述的基材,其中,表面改性膜为防锈膜。
10.根据权利要求7所述的基材,其中,表面改性膜为防水·防湿涂布膜。
