Description

Linear umbrella
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an umbrella, and more particularly, to a wire type umbrella which can realize an unfolding and folding mechanism by two unfolding and folding pulling ropes, and which can simplify the structure, reduce the weight and reduce the manufacturing cost by maintaining the tension of each pulling rope.
Background
Umbrellas are not only tools for preventing rain, but also types and applications of umbrellas are gradually diversified, including parasols, golf umbrellas, manual umbrellas, automatic umbrellas, and the like.
Conventional manual umbrellas are generally composed of ribs, handle members, etc., and a user can open and close the umbrella by the action of directly pushing and pulling the handle. In this manual mode, a plurality of springs are installed between ribs to store a repulsive force when opening the umbrella for closing the umbrella. However, it is inconvenient for the user to use the umbrella because additional force is applied to store the force when the user opens the umbrella.
On the other hand, the automatic umbrella is provided with a rope-like connection member or a plurality of gear sets and a driving motor for driving them inside the nest, and can be opened and closed by a button operation. However, this automatic mode requires force to extend or compress the spring in addition to the connecting member or the gear set, and thus requires the use of a driving motor having a large torque, which results in an increase in manufacturing cost, and a large battery consumption, requiring frequent replacement or charging, which is inconvenient.
However, as described in korean patent publication No. 10-2023-0042361, which is a full-automatic open/close umbrella, there are advantages in that the reliability of the open/close operation is improved by using racks, worm gears, toothed belts, etc., but the power transmission structure is complicated, the assembly is numerous, the assembly is difficult, and the size and weight of the middle stick are increased due to the necessity of installing many components inside the middle stick, which affects the use effect.

Examples
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the wire umbrella 1 includes a middle stick 10, a top cover 11 provided at an upper portion of the middle stick 10, an umbrella nest 20 slidably connected to the middle stick 10, and ribs 13 connecting the top cover 11 and the umbrella nest 20. In the umbrella, there are further included an unfolding pulling rope 31, a folding pulling rope 33, a releaser 40, and a tension member 50 that keeps each of the unfolding pulling rope 31 and the folding pulling rope 33 in a tension state and makes it unfolded and folded on the releaser 40.
The deployment string 31 is fixed to the umbrella nest 20 to pull the umbrella nest 20 toward the top cover 11 to deploy the umbrella.
As an example, referring to fig. 1 and 2, the unwinding rope 31 is fixed to the umbrella nest 20, and one end thereof is introduced into the interior of the center stick 10 via the upper path point 15 on the upper side of the center stick 10 and fixed to the releaser 40. Accordingly, in the folded state, the releaser 40 rotates and winds up the deployment string 31, and the umbrella nest 20 fixed to one end of the deployment string 31 is pulled in the direction of the top cover 11, so that the umbrella is deployed as in fig. 1.
Here, according to the present invention, both ends of the unwinding rope 31 are fixed to the umbrella nest 20 and the releaser 40, respectively, and various route means can be implemented using various route points or additional members, etc., as long as the umbrella nest 20 can be pulled up, and these various modifications are within the scope of the present invention.
As an example, the deployment of the pull cord 31 may expose the exterior of the center pole 10 between the umbrella nest 20 and the upper pathway point 15, at which point the pull cord guide 16 may be provided on the exterior of the center pole 10 as shown in fig. 3. Further, various arrangements may be added to prevent the unwinding rope 31 from being broken by interference of other members in the exposed area, or to prevent the appearance from being impaired.
In the present invention, the material of the unwind pull cord 31 including the below-mentioned fold pull cord 33 may be of various types suitable for winding or unwinding around the release 40. A material that does not stretch in the longitudinal direction is generally used, but the possibility of using a stretch material (depending on the degree of stretch, etc.) is not excluded.
One end of the folding stay 33 is fixed to the umbrella nest 20, and the umbrella nest 20 is pulled down to the lower portion of the middle stick 10 to fold the umbrella. As an example, a fold-over drawstring 33, like that shown in fig. 1 and 2, is secured at one end to the umbrella nest 20 and at the other end extends downwardly to the release 40. Thus, when the release 40 is rotated to wind up the fold line 33, the umbrella nest 20 is pulled down to the lower portion of the center stick 10.
The folding stay 33 according to the present invention can use various path means without limitation as long as it can be fixed at both end positions and the umbrella nest 20 can be pulled down, as the unfolding stay 31 described above. For example, the fold line 33 may extend into the interior of the center stick 10, pass through one or more routing points, and then be exposed to the exterior of the center stick 10 and secured to the umbrella nest 20.
Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 1, the fold line 33 may extend directly from the exterior of the center stick 10 without passing through the interior of the center stick 10 and be secured to the umbrella nest 20. In this case, the folding stay 33 exposed to the outside of the center bar 10 may have a risk of breakage, may interfere with other components to cause erroneous operation, and may cause an external appearance to be impaired. For this purpose, a pull cord guide 16 as shown in fig. 3 and 4 may be provided, accommodating the folding pull cord 33 outside the center rod 10. Thus, the folding stay 33 extending from the lower portion of the center stick 10, which is extended from the releaser 40, will be pulled out of the umbrella nest 20 through the pulley 23 on the umbrella nest 20 and fixed to the anchor point 21 b. Further, it is noted that the pull cord guide 16 may be variously modified as desired, and is not limited to the one illustrated in fig. 3. The cord guide 16 described above may be applied to a region where the unwinding cord 31 is exposed to the outside of the center rod 10.
The releaser 40 is located at one side of the lower portion of the center stick 10 for fixing the other end of each of the unfolding pulling rope 31 and the folding pulling rope 33 so that the unfolding pulling rope 31 and the folding pulling rope 33 are unfolded and folded, respectively, but in opposite directions as rotated.
In this case, if the handle member 60 is installed at the bottom of the middle part 10, the releaser 40 may be located inside the handle member 60. However, the location of the release 40 is not limited to the interior of the handle member 60, and may be mounted on the exterior of the handle member 60 or at a different location. Meanwhile, for the unfolding pulling rope 31 or the folding pulling rope 33, one corresponding to the releaser 40 may be installed inside the handle member 60, the other may be installed outside the handle member 60, and the specific position may be adjusted as needed.
The releaser 40 may be mounted in a variety of types. For example, in one embodiment, the release 40 may correspond to the deployment string 31 and the folding string 33, respectively, so that two release 40 may be installed. In this case, there may be two driving units 63 for driving each of the releasers 40 to rotate.
Alternatively, in another embodiment shown in fig. 4, the release 40 may be designed as a double release 40, since the unfolding and folding methods resulting from the opposite winding directions of the unfolding and folding cords 31 and 33 are also reversed. In this case, the unfolding pulling rope 31 and the folding pulling rope 33 form a loop-closing curve at both ends of the umbrella nest 20 and the releaser 40, and the unfolding pulling rope 31 and the folding pulling rope 33 lift or lower the umbrella nest 20 in the process of being unfolded or folded with each other according to the rotation of the releaser 40, so that the umbrella can be unfolded or folded. Therefore, according to the present invention, the opening and closing mechanism of the umbrella is realized by two unfolding and folding stay ropes, the construction is simple, the manufacturing cost can be saved, and the weight reduction and miniaturization can be realized due to the characteristics of the stay ropes.
Meanwhile, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the wire umbrella 1 may be implemented as an automatic umbrella in which the rotation releaser 40 is driven by the driving unit 63. As an example, the driving unit 63 may include a driving motor driving the releaser 40 to rotate, a power supply part, and an operating unit 65 for operating the driving motor. In this case, if the handle member 60 is installed at the bottom of the middle part 10, the releaser 40 and the driving unit 63 may be installed inside the handle member 60, and the operating unit 65 may be installed outside the handle member 60. Further, the above-described power supply part may be provided with a terminal for external charging, or may be separated from the handle part 60 to achieve recharging.
In this case, if the driving motor cannot obtain power from the above-described power supply part or the power supply is exhausted, the driving unit 63 may not restrict the rotation of the releaser 40. In this case, the user can push or pull the umbrella nest to open or close the umbrella like using a manual umbrella, so that the wire umbrella of the present invention can be used as both an automatic umbrella and a manual umbrella to maximize user convenience.
In addition, according to the wire umbrella of the present invention, when applied to the realization of an automatic umbrella by a driving motor or the like, only a rotational force is provided to a pulling rope, so that the realization of the automatic umbrella is very easy, and particularly, in the case of using a double pulling rope, only one driving unit is required to operate, thereby saving the manufacturing cost, reducing the weight and the volume, and minimizing the required power to realize the opening and closing actions of the umbrella, thereby maximizing the service life.
In addition, an unfolding fixing component for fixing the unfolded state of the umbrella 1 can be provided. The unfolding fixing means can prevent the umbrella nest 20 from being pushed to the lower side of the middle rod 10 by the dead weight of the umbrella ribs 13 and the umbrella cloth.
The deployment fixing member may be designed in various types, and is not limited. For example, an insertion hole (not shown) provided at one side of the middle stick 10 corresponding to the position of the umbrella nest 20 in the unfolded state of the umbrella, and having an elastic protrusion 71 provided at one side of the umbrella nest 20 directed toward the middle stick 10 so as to be able to come in and go out due to elasticity, may be provided.
As an example, referring to fig. 6, the umbrella nest 20 may be composed of an inner umbrella nest 20a and an outer umbrella nest 20b, the inner umbrella nest 20a being slidably installed on the outside of the middle stick 10, the outer umbrella nest 20b being provided on the outside of the inner umbrella nest 20a and being relatively movable up and down with respect to the inner umbrella nest 20 a.
In addition, one end of the unfolding pulling rope 31 and one end of the folding pulling rope 33 are fixed to one side of the outer nest 20b as shown in fig. 6.
Here, the movement of the inner nest 20a and the outer nest 20b when the wire umbrella 1 is unfolded and folded is described. First, in the folded state, as in fig. 6 b, the inner and outer nests 20a and 20b are separated. Therefore, when the umbrella is unfolded, the outer nest 20b is first pushed up by the unfolding rope 31, and when the outer nest 20b and the inner nest 20a come into contact with the state a of fig. 6, the outer nest 20b and the inner nest 20a are lifted up together along the middle stick 10. In contrast, when the umbrella is folded, the folding stay 33 causes the outer nest 20b to descend first, and then after a set interval distance, the inner nest 20a and the outer nest 20b descend together along the middle stick 10.
In the present embodiment, the deployment fixing section includes an insertion hole (not shown) on one side of the center stick 10 corresponding to the position of the outer nest 20b, and an elastic protrusion 71 provided on the inner nest 20a that is insertable into the insertion hole.
The elastic protrusions 71 are located within a set interval in the b state of fig. 6, and there is no interference between the elastic protrusions 71 and the outer nest 20b in the b state of fig. 6. In addition, in the state a of fig. 6, when the umbrella is unfolded, the outer nest 20b is interference-compressed by the action of the unfolding rope 31 and inserted into the insertion hole. Thus, the unfolded state of the umbrella is fixed.
In contrast, in the state b of fig. 6, when the umbrella is folded, the outer nest 20b descends first, and when the interference compression to the elastic protrusions 71 is released, the elastic protrusions 71 are pushed out of the insertion holes by the elastic force, and then the inner nest 20a descends to the bottom of the center stick 10 together with the outer nest 20 b.
Here, interference (compression and release of the elastic protrusions 71 by the outer nest 20b as described) occurs according to the relative displacement of the outer nest 20b, thereby fixing the position of the outer nest 20b in the unfolded state of the umbrella, and the corresponding change thereof is not limited to the above-described embodiment.
Therefore, in the case of an automatic umbrella equipped with the driving device 63, in the unfolded state of the umbrella, the unfolded state is supported by the elastic protrusions 71, so that an additional driving unit 63 is not required to maintain the unfolded state, and the power consumption can be reduced to the maximum extent, and the use time can be increased. In addition, in case of a manual umbrella without the driving unit 63, the user does not need to support the umbrella nest 20 since the unfolding fixing portion can keep the unfolded state of the umbrella.
The tension member 50 is used to ensure that the unwinding and folding stay 31, 33 are released and tightened on the release 40 while maintaining tension. The function of the tension member 50 is to compensate for variations in the length of the individual cords initially provided, depending on the change in position of the telescoping or other structure of the deployment cord 31 and/or the folding cord 33. For example, if either one of the deployment cords 31 or the folding cords 33 changes length due to use or other reasons, one of the cords will not be fully released or further released from the release 40, thereby rendering the umbrella nest 20 unable to assume a designated deployed or folded position, making the opening and closing operation itself impossible. Alternatively, even though the umbrella may be opened and closed, the umbrella nest 20 cannot be fixed and can float in a folded or unfolded state, thereby reducing the commercial value of the commodity. Accordingly, the tension member 50 performs compensation correction by applying tension to the deployment string 31 and the folding string 33.
The tension member 50 may take a variety of different configurations, for example, as shown in fig. 3, by a resilient member disposed between the end of the deployment cord 31 and/or the folding cord 33 and the anchor point 21 of the umbrella nest 20. The tension member 50 expands and contracts according to the expansion and contraction of the strings to maintain the tension of the respective strings. Here, although the tension member 50 folding the end of the draw cord 33 is shown in fig. 3, it is apparent that the same or similar structure may be applied to the end of the draw cord 31.
As shown in fig. 5, the tension member 50 may be provided on the side of the unwinding wire 31 and/or the folding wire 33 that is not wound by the releaser 40. For example, for a folded wire (33), the tension member 50 may be provided between the anchor point on the side of the umbrella nest 20 and the section not wound by the releaser 40.
In addition, if the release 40 is disposed inside the handle member 60, the tension member 50 may be disposed between the release 40 and the bottom of the center rod 10.
For example, referring to fig. 4, a guide pin 61 that guides the deployment string 31 and/or the folding string 33 to the bottom of the center stick 10 may be provided inside the handle member 60. In this case, the tension member 50 may be provided as an elastic member between the guide pin 61 and the deployment string 31 and/or the folding string 33. That is, one end of the elastic member 50 is fixed to the guide pin 61a, and the other end is connected to the folding stay 33 in a ring shape and makes the folding stay 33 movable, and when the folding stay 33 is pulled long, the stretch thereof can be pulled toward the side of the guide pin 61a and adjusted, and when the folding stay 33 is shortened, the folding stay 33 can be kept straight to adjust the length thereof.
Therefore, according to the wire umbrella provided by the invention, even if the length of the unfolding stay rope and/or the folding stay rope is changed due to use or other reasons, the tension component can be used for compensation, thereby preventing misoperation of the umbrella and improving reliability and durability of products.
In addition, the tension member 50 can absorb excessive pulling force applied to the wire under abrupt operation of the umbrella or local load generated near the path point to prevent breakage of the wire and minimize damage, thereby increasing durability.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the limited embodiments and drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications and variations may be made by those having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains, as well as the scope of the claims. Accordingly, the disclosed embodiments should be regarded as illustrative rather than restrictive. The scope of the invention should be indicated by the appended claims rather than by the foregoing description, and all differences within the scope of the equivalent scope will be construed as being included in the present invention.
