The method comprises the following steps:
Step 101, a terminal sends a first identifier, or the first identifier and an associated identifier; the first identifier corresponds to one USIM of the terminal, and the terminal supports multiple USIMs.
Specifically, the terminal sends the first identifier, or the first identifier and the association identifier.
The first network element acquires a first identifier of the terminal, or the first identifier and the association identifier.
The first network element may be a newly added, independent network element, or may be combined with an existing network element. The first network element may also be referred to as a "first function", and any network device implementing the function may be the first network element.
The terminal may send the first identity directly to the first network element, or the first identity and the association identity.
The terminal may send the first identifier, or the first identifier and the association identifier, to the first network element in a forwarding manner of the other network element (the second network element).
The second network element may be an access and mobility management function (Access and Mobility Management Function, AMF), a network opening function (Network Exposure Function, NEF), a location management function (Location Management Function, LMF), etc.
The first identity may be a user permanent identity (subscription permanent identifier, SUPI), a general public user identity (generic public subscription identifier, GPSI), a 5G globally unique temporary identity (5G globally unique temporary identifier,5G-GUTI), or the like.
One USIM in the multiple USIM terminal corresponds to one first identity.
The association identifier includes one or more of the following:
a permanent device identifier (permanent equipment identifier, PEI);
a global mobile device identifier (international mobile station equipment identity, IMEI);
a unique identifier pre-configured within the hardware;
a unique number pre-configured within the hardware;
a unique number is preconfigured in the hardware.
The associated identity may also be a hash or encrypted value of a second identity comprising one or more of the following identities:
PEI;
IMEI;
a unique identifier pre-configured within the hardware;
a unique number pre-configured within the hardware;
a unique number is preconfigured in the hardware.
Specifically, a hash algorithm for calculating a hash value or an encryption algorithm for calculating an encryption value may be configured in the terminal. A hash algorithm for calculating the hash value or an encryption algorithm for calculating the encryption value may also be configured in the first network element.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the terminal acquires the association identifier sent by the first network element or determines the association identifier.

In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the first network element receives a first message sent by the terminal; the first message contains the association identifier and the first identifier, or contains the first identifier.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the application, the terminal generates the association identifier. The first message may be a registration request message, a higher layer message, a physical layer message, etc.
Fig. 2 is one of signaling interaction diagrams provided in the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 2, a specific step of a first network element obtaining a plurality of first identities (hereinafter, two first identities (a first identity and a second first identity) are taken as an example to describe, where the first identity corresponds to USIM1 and the second first identity corresponds to USIM 2) is as follows:
and 0a, the first function sends a subscription request message to the NEF to request to obtain event notification that the UE supports the change of the multiple USIM characteristics.
0b, the NEF sends a subscription request message to the AMF requesting to obtain event notification that the UE supports a change in multiple USIM characteristics.
1. The UE sends a registration request message to the AMF, the registration request message carrying a support multiple USIM feature and an association ID.
2. The AMF sends an event notification message to the NEF, the event notification message carrying the first identification and the association ID. The event notification message may also carry a support multiple USIM feature.
3. The NEF sends an event notification message to the first function, the event notification message carrying the first identity and the association ID. The event notification message may also carry a support multiple USIM feature.
4. The AMF sends a registration acceptance message to the UE, wherein the registration acceptance message carries the characteristic of supporting multiple USIMs.
When the UE performs an initial registration procedure through USIM1 and USIM2, respectively, the above steps 1 to 4 are performed, respectively. Because the association IDs received by the first function are the same, the first function may determine that the first and second first identities belong to the same UE according to the association IDs.
Before the UE sends an initial registration request through USIM1 and USIM2, the association ID is calculated. The association ID may be a value obtained by the UE performing a hash algorithm or an encryption algorithm on information of the UE (e.g., PEI, or a unique identification preconfigured in hardware, or a unique number/number preconfigured in hardware). The specific algorithm is configured within the UE.
According to the multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application, the terminal generates the association identifier, so that the computing resource of the terminal can be fully utilized, and the resource utilization rate is improved.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the first network element sends a subscription request message to the second network element; the subscription request message is used for requesting the terminal to support the event notification message of the change of the multiple USIM characteristics;
The first network element receives an event notification message supporting the change of the multiple USIM characteristics, which is sent by the second network element.

3. The NEF sends an event notification message to the first function, the event notification message carrying the association ID. The event notification message may also carry a first identity that does not support the multiple USIM feature. The first function deletes locally stored information related to the associated ID, or deletes the second first identification, or marks the second first identification as inactive.
4. The AMF sends a registration accept message to the UE.
The second network element in the embodiment of the present application may be AMF, NEF, LMF or the like.
It should be noted that:
1. if there is a direct interface between the AMF and the first function, steps 2 and 3 can be performed by one message without the need for processing and/or forwarding through the NEF.
2. If there is a direct interface between the first function and other network functions within the operator network, for example a gateway mobile location center (Gateway Mobile Location Center, GMLC) or LMF, the AMF sends an event notification message to the other network functions, which then sends the event notification message to the first function. Event notification messages may also be forwarded between other network functions and the first function via the NEF.

In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
and the first network element sends the association identifier to the terminal.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, the first network element generates the association identifier. After the first network element generates the association identifier, the association identifier is sent to the terminal.
Fig. 4 is a third signaling interaction diagram provided in the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, a specific step of the first network element obtaining a plurality of first identities (hereinafter, two first identities (a first identity and a second first identity) are taken as an example to describe, where the first identity corresponds to USIM1 and the second first identity corresponds to USIM 2) is as follows:
and 0a, the first function sends a subscription request message to the first NEF, and requests to obtain event notification of the change of the UE supporting the multiple USIM characteristics.

6. The second AMF sends a registration accept message to the UE, the registration accept message carrying support multiple USIM features.
When only one USIM of the UE is activated, the UE sends the multi-USIM non-support characteristic to the AMF, the AMF sends the multi-USIM non-support characteristic to the first function, the first function deletes the related record or the information related to the unactivated USIM card, and the information related to the unactivated USIM card is marked as unactivated. The specific manner is the same as that of the above embodiment, and will not be described here again.
It should be noted that:
1. if there is a direct interface between the AMF and the first function, steps 2 and 3 can be performed by one message without the need for processing and/or forwarding through the NEF. The same applies to steps 4 and 5.
2. If there is a direct interface between the first function and other network functions within the operator network, such as GMLC or LMF, the AMF sends event notifications to the other network functions, which then send them to the first function. Event notifications may also be forwarded between other network functions and the first function via the NEF.
The multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application has the advantages that the first network element generates the association identifier, the same management is convenient for the association identifier, and the reliability of the system is improved.
In some embodiments, the first network element obtains a first identifier of the terminal, or the first identifier and the association identifier, including:
the first network element obtains a first identifier of the terminal, or the first identifier and the association identifier from the second network element.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, the terminal sends the first identifier, or the first identifier and the association identifier, to the first network element in a forwarding manner of other network elements (second network elements).
The first network element obtains a first identifier of the terminal, or the first identifier and the association identifier from the second network element.
The second network element may be AMF, NEF, LMF, etc.
The terminal sends the first identifier to the first network element in the manner of AMF and NEF forwarding, or the schemes of the first identifier and the association identifier may refer to fig. 2, fig. 3, fig. 4 and fig. 5, which are not described herein again.
Fig. 6 is a fifth signaling interaction schematic provided by the embodiment of the present application, and in the embodiment of the present application, the UE sends a USIM supporting or no USIM supporting request through the LMF. The specific steps of the first network element for acquiring the plurality of first identifiers are as follows:
1. the UE sends an LTE positioning protocol (LTE Positioning Protocol, LPP) message to the LMF carrying a supported multiple USIM feature, an association ID, a first identity.
2. The LMF sends a first request message, carrying a first identification, association ID, directly or indirectly (i.e. via forwarding of other network elements, e.g. NEF, GMLC) to the first function.
3. The first function returns a first reply message directly or indirectly to the LMF.
4. The LMF returns an LPP message to the UE.
According to the multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application, the terminal sends the first identifier to the first network element through the second network element, or the first identifier and the associated identifier can be an intermediate process recorded by the second network element, so that the reliability of the system is improved.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
and the first network element determines a plurality of first identifications belonging to the terminal according to the association identifications.
Specifically, after the first network element acquires the first identifier of the terminal, or the first identifier and the association identifier, the first identifier belonging to the same terminal is associated through the association ID, and the first network element can determine a plurality of first identifiers belonging to the same terminal according to the association ID.
According to the multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application, the first network element is used for associating a plurality of first identifications of the same terminal, so that the information storage redundancy is reduced, and the signaling resource is saved.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the first network element receives a position request message;
the first network element determines a first identifier corresponding to the terminal based on the position request message;
the first network element determines location information of the terminal based on the first identity.
In some embodiments, the determining, by the first network element, location information of the terminal based on the first identity includes:
the first network element sends a position request message to PLMN corresponding to each first identifier respectively;
the first network element receives first position information of the terminal sent by each PLMN;

Specifically, fig. 7 is a sixth signaling interaction schematic diagram provided by the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 7, where the embodiment of the present application may be extended to a positioning scenario, and the specific steps for a location requester to obtain a UE location are as follows:
1. the location requester (application function (Application Function, AF) or LCS client or LMF, etc.) sends a location request message to the first function, the location request message carrying an application layer identity or an internet protocol (Internet Protocol, IP) address or a first identity.
2. The first function sends a first request message to the NEF, the first request message carrying an application layer identification or an IP address.
3. The NEF sends a first request message to the unified data store (Unified Data Repository, UDR), the first request message carrying an application layer identification or IP address.
4. The UDR sends a first reply message to the NEF, the first reply message carrying a first identity.
5. The NEF sends a first reply message to the first function, the first reply message carrying a first identification.
6. The first function searches locally stored information according to the first identity, and discovers that the UE also supports the second first identity. The first function sends a location request message to the GMLC within the PLMN assigned the first identifier and the second first identifier, respectively, the location request message carrying the first identifier and the second first identifier, respectively.
7. GMLC1 and GMLC2 initiate a positioning procedure for the UE, respectively, and the specific procedure is not described here again.
8. GMLC1 and GMLC2 send location reply messages to the first function, respectively, the location reply messages carrying the UE location.
9. The first function determines the final UE location from the two UE locations and then returns the UE location to the application.
The manner in which the first function determines the final UE location may be as follows:
(1) And averaging the UE position information to form a final UE position.
(2) And taking a weighted average value of the UE position information to form a final UE position, wherein the weight value can be ensured or pre-agreed according to the signal quality of the PLMN.
(3) From the time of these two UE positions, the velocity of the UE and the like infer the position of the intermediate point in time, and this position is taken as the final UE position.
It should be noted that: steps 2-5 are optional steps that are performed only if the AF provided location request message does not include the first identity (including the application layer identity and/or the IP address).
The multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application is used for uniformly managing the multi-USIM terminal information through the first network element, so that the positioning is enhanced, and the positioning precision is improved.
Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of signaling interaction provided by an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 8, a location requester may be an LMF, and the LMF decides to trigger positioning of a UE through multiple PLMNs according to multiple USIM characteristics and location quality of service (Quality of Service, qoS) supported by the UE. The specific positioning steps are as follows:
1. the AMF or UE sends to the LMF that the UE supports the multiple USIM feature.
2. The LMF decides to trigger the first function to locate the UE according to the multi-USIM characteristic and the position QoS supported by the UE. The LMF sends a location request message to the first function, the location request message carrying a first identification.
4. The first function searches locally stored information according to the first identity, and discovers that the UE also supports the second first identity. The first function sends a location request message to the GMLC within the PLMN assigned the first identifier and the second first identifier, respectively, the location request message carrying the first identifier and the second first identifier, respectively.
5. GMLC1 and GMLC2 initiate a positioning procedure for the UE, respectively, and the specific procedure is not described here again.
6. GMLC1 and GMLC2 send location reply messages to the first function, respectively, the location reply messages carrying the UE location.
7. The first function determines the final UE location from the two UE locations and then returns the UE location to the application.
It should be noted that: steps 4-7 may be generalized to multi-USIM co-location as shown in fig. 8, steps 4-7 being not shown in fig. 8 with steps 6-9 in the above embodiments.

In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the first network element receives privacy information of the terminal;
the first network element stores the privacy information.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:

Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, the privacy information of the terminal may include a privacy attribute of a location service (LoCation Services, LCS), and may further include privacy information provided by the UE or the AF.
The LCS privacy attribute includes a signed privacy attribute, whether the LCS client is allowed to acquire the UE location, and so on.
In the embodiment of the application, the UDM sends UE meaning information (e.g., LCS privacy attribute) to the first network element, which stores the LCS privacy attribute of the UE.
The UE or AF may also send the privacy information to the first network element directly or through the second network element.
When the first network element receives the location request, the first network element performs privacy check according to the locally stored LCS privacy attribute of the UE, that is, determines whether the LCS client is allowed to acquire the location of the UE, and if so, sends the location request to the GMLC in the PLMN. The PLMN may skip the privacy check procedure (i.e., the GMLC or AMF no longer performs privacy check).
According to the multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application, the privacy information of the terminal is uniformly managed through the first network element, so that unnecessary privacy inspection is avoided, and signaling overhead is reduced.
In some embodiments, the method further comprises:
the first network element stores the position information of the terminal and a timestamp corresponding to the position information;
the first network element returns the location information in case a location request message is received and the location information and the timestamp satisfy QoS in the location request message.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, after the first network element receives the location of the UE from the GMLC of the PLMN1, the first network element stores the location information and the timestamp of the UE.
When the first network element receives the positioning request of the PLMN1 and/or the PLMN2 again, the first network element judges whether UE position information meeting the position precision requirement and the time requirement exists according to the locally stored information, if so, the locally stored information is returned to the LCS client, otherwise, the first network element sends the position request to the GMLC in the PLMN1 and/or the PLMN 2.
According to the multi-USIM terminal information management method provided by the embodiment of the application, the terminal information is uniformly managed through the first network element, so that the position sharing is realized, the terminal is prevented from frequently carrying out unnecessary positioning measurement, the power consumption of the terminal is reduced, and the energy is saved.
