Abstract
The invention provides a dual-purpose device which is suitable for matching furniture and comprises two cladding parts and a cover body. The two cover members are partially connected and selectively closed together or spread apart to form an interior space therebetween when the two cover members are closed together. When the two cladding parts are closed together, the cover body can be folded to be contained in the inner space, and the two-purpose structure is used as a throw pillow or a back cushion. When the two wrapping parts are unfolded, the cover body is suitable for being unfolded to wrap the furniture. The invention further provides a furniture module with the dual-purpose device. The dual-purpose device of the furniture module can provide different functions for furniture under different use states, can be matched with furniture for use, and does not need to be stored additionally.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a dual-purpose device applied to furniture and a furniture module with the dual-purpose device.
Background
Generally, if the furniture to be temporarily used is to be protected, a user may cover the furniture with a bag. However, due to the large size or special shape of the furniture, it is difficult to completely cover the furniture with the bag. Although the bag attached to the factory can cover the furniture well, the bag needs to be kept in particular and the storage position is easy to forget. When the cabinet is used, the cabinet needs to be turned over to be found, and the cabinet is quite inconvenient.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims at a furniture module and a dual-purpose device, wherein the dual-purpose device can be used as a protective cover of furniture in one use state and can be used as a throw pillow or a back cushion in the other use state, so that different functions can be provided for the furniture in different use states, and the dual-purpose device can be used with the furniture without additional storage.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the dual-purpose device is suitable for matching furniture and comprises two cladding parts and a cover body. The two cover members are partially connected and selectively closed together or spread apart to form an interior space therebetween when the two cover members are closed together. When the two cladding parts are closed together, the cover body can be folded to be contained in the inner space, and the two-purpose structure is used as a throw pillow or a back cushion. When the two wrapping parts are unfolded, the cover body is suitable for being unfolded to wrap the furniture.
A furniture module according to an embodiment of the invention includes furniture and a dual purpose device. The dual-purpose device comprises two cladding parts and a cover body. The two cover members are partially connected and selectively closed together or spread apart to form an interior space therebetween when the two cover members are closed together. When the two cladding parts are closed together, the cover body can be folded to be contained in the inner space, and the two-purpose structure is used as a throw pillow or a back cushion. When the two wrapping parts are unfolded, the cover body is suitable for being unfolded to wrap the furniture.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the invention, the cover is fixed to at least one of the two cladding members.
In the dual device according to the embodiment of the invention, the two cladding members comprise a first combining member and a second combining member which are positioned at two edges and are detachably fixed to each other, when the two cladding members are closed together, the first combining member is fixed to the second combining member so as to maintain the closed state of the two cladding members, and the cover body is sewn at a position of the two cladding members close to the two edges when the two cladding members are unfolded.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the invention, the first combining piece and the second combining piece comprise a zipper set, a combination of buttons and buttonholes or a combination of velcro.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the invention, at least part of the cover body comprises an inner layer structure and an outer layer structure, and the inner layer structure is fixed on at least one of the two cladding parts.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the invention, the cover body comprises two first parts, a second part and a third part, wherein the second part and the third part are connected with the two first parts, the first part covers the side face of the furniture, the second part covers the front face of the furniture, the third part covers the back face of the furniture, and the second part is fixed on at least one of the two cladding parts.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the invention, the cover body comprises an opening and a third combining piece close to the opening, and when the cover body is unfolded to cover the furniture, the third combining piece is fixed to the furniture.
In the dual-purpose device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the third coupling member includes an elastic band, a strap, an adhesive strip, or a buckle strip.
In the dual device according to the embodiment of the present invention, the dual structure is square, rectangular, circular or oval when the two cladding members are closed together.
In a dual-purpose device according to an embodiment of the present invention, the furniture includes a chair, a table, or a bed.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
Fig. 1 to 6 are schematic views showing a dual-purpose device of a furniture module according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is changed from a throw pillow state to a protection cover state. Referring first to fig. 1, a furniture module 10 includes a piece of furniture 20 and a dual-purpose device 100. In the present embodiment, the furniture 20 is a chair, for example, the furniture 20 is a single chair, but the number of seats of the chair is not limited thereto, and in other embodiments, the furniture may be a two-seat, three-seat or four-seat chair. Furthermore, in other embodiments, the furniture may also be a table or a bed. The table may be in the form of a coffee table, a side table, etc., without limitation. The size of the bed is not limited either.
In this embodiment, the furniture 20 may optionally be provided with a seat cushion 30 and a back cushion 35. Of course, in other embodiments, the seat cushion 30 and the back cushion 35 may be omitted. In addition, in the present embodiment, the dual-purpose device 100 may be used as a throw pillow or a headrest in a folded state, for example. In other embodiments, the throw pillow or headrest may also be in the form of a decorative item such as a doll, without limitation.
As can be seen from fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the dual-purpose device 100 is placed on the furniture 20 in the form of a pillow or cushion, which itself may be a piece of furniture or/and increase the comfort of the user while sitting. The following will describe stepwise how the dual-purpose device 100 is deformed to become a protective or dust-proof cover for covering the furniture 20. In other words, the dual-purpose device 100 may provide two different functions for the furniture 20.
Referring to fig. 2, in the present embodiment, when the dual-purpose device 100 is to be deformed, the user can first tip the back pad 35 over the seat pad 30 to provide support for the dual-purpose device 100. Of course, in other embodiments, even if the seat cushion 30 and the back cushion 35 are not provided below the dual-purpose device 100, the following operations can be performed.
Referring to fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the dual-purpose device 100 includes two cladding members 110 and a cover 120. The two cladding members 110 are partially connected and optionally closed together or spread apart. Specifically, in this embodiment, the shape of the wrapping member 110 is, for example, approximately rectangular, and one of the long sides of the upper wrapping member 110 is connected to one of the long sides of the lower wrapping member 110, and the remaining three sides (edges 114) of the upper wrapping member 110 are separable from the remaining three sides (edges 114) of the lower wrapping member 110.
When the two cover members 110 are closed together, an inner space 112 is formed between the two cover members 110, and the cover 120 is foldably received in the inner space 112. That is, when the two cover members 110 are closed together as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the cover members 110 collectively serve as the outer shell of the cover 120. At this time, the whole dual-purpose structure can be used as a throw pillow or a back cushion.
In the present embodiment, the dual-purpose device 100 is exemplified by a rectangle, and in other embodiments, the dual-purpose device 100 may have a square, a circle, an ellipse, or other shapes. In addition, the covering member 110 may be made of a cloth having a slight hardness, or may be made of a soft cloth material to increase comfort.
In addition, as can be seen in fig. 3, in this embodiment, the two cladding members 110 include a first coupling member 116 and a second coupling member 118 that are positioned at the two edges 114 and are detachably secured to each other. When the two covering members 110 are closed together, the first connecting member 116 is fixed to the second connecting member 118 to maintain the closed state of the two covering members 110.
Specifically, in the present embodiment, the first coupling member 116 and the second coupling member 118 comprise two zipper strips, and the first coupling member 116 and the second coupling member 118 may be fixed together or separated by the zipper slider 115. In other embodiments, the first engaging member 116 and the second engaging member 118 can be a button and button hole combination or a velcro combination. The types of the first bonding element 116 and the second bonding element 118 are not limited.
In the present embodiment, the cover 120 is fixed to at least one of the two cladding members 110. Specifically, the cover 120 is sewn to the cover 110 at a location that is adjacent to the two edges 114 when the cover is unfolded. Of course, in other embodiments, the cover 120 may be fixed to one of the cladding members 110. The cover 120 may be fixed to the covering member 110 by thermal compression or adhesion, and is not limited by stitching. In one embodiment, the cover 120 may also be separate from the cover 110. That is, the two-piece cover 110 and the cap 120 are a two-piece structure that is not connected together.
Referring to fig. 4, the cover member 110 may be flipped open to a flattened state. Then, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the cover 120, which is originally received between the two covering members 110, can be gradually unfolded to cover the furniture 20. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the piece of furniture 20 (e.g., a chair) can be divided into left and right sides 22, a front 24 (herein the front 24 is the portion of the user's back, buttocks, legs that will be contacted when the user sits on the chair) between the sides 22, and a back 26 that is located between the sides 22 and behind the piece of furniture 20.
As shown in fig. 6, in this embodiment, the unfolded profile of the cover 120 corresponds to the profile of the furniture 20. The cover 120 includes two first portions 121, a second portion 122 connected to the two first portions 121, and a third portion 123. The first portion 121 covers the side 22 of the furniture 20, the second portion 122 covers the front 24 of the furniture 20, and the third portion 123 covers the back 26 of the furniture 20. During manufacture, the two first portions 121, the second portion 122 and the third portion 123 of the cover 120 can be cut out respectively and then sewn together. Of course, as the furniture 20 is different in type and shape, the shape and corresponding portions of the cover 120 are also changed.
In addition, in the present embodiment, since the cover 120 is covered from the upper side toward the lower side of the furniture 20, the cover 120 includes the opening 126 located at the lower side of fig. 6 and the third coupling member 127 adjacent to the opening 126. When the cover 120 is unfolded to cover the furniture 20, the third coupling member 127 is fixed to the furniture 20 to improve the fixing property. If the furniture 20 is placed outdoors, the cover 120 can be well fixed to the furniture 20 by the third coupling member 127 to prevent the furniture from being blown off in strong wind.
In the present embodiment, the third connecting member 127 is, for example, an elastic band sewn to the lower edge of the cover 120. In other embodiments, the third bonding element 127 may also be a strap, an adhesive strip, or a buckle strip. Can be fixed or wound on the chair leg, the table leg or the bed leg of the furniture 20.
In addition, to accommodate outdoor environments, the cover 120 itself may also be of a windproof, waterproof material to provide greater protection to the furniture 20. Of course, the material of the cover 120 is not limited thereto, and may be foldable.
It should be noted that, as can be seen in fig. 6, the second portion 122 of the cover 120 is aesthetically pleasing without having to see the stitching sewn to the cover 110 (fig. 4). Fig. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a cover of the dual-purpose device of the furniture module of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 7, in the present embodiment, at least a portion (e.g., the second portion 122) of the cover 120 includes an inner layer structure 124 and an outer layer structure 125, and the outer layer structure 125 is located outside after the cover 120 is unfolded, i.e., the portion seen in fig. 6. The cover 120 is stitched to the covering member 110 through the inner layer structure 124 of the second portion 122, and the outer layer structure 125 is not stitched to the covering member 110, so that the cover 120 is more beautiful after being unfolded.
It should be noted that, in other embodiments, the two covering members 110 may be fixed to the first portion 121 or the third portion 123 of the cover 120, which is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the whole cover 120 may have the inner layer structure 124 and the outer layer structure 125, or the portion connected to the two covering members 110 may have the inner layer structure 124 and the outer layer structure 125, which is not limited thereto.
In addition, since the area covered by the second portion 122 of the cover 120 is large, it can be manufactured by joining two pieces of cloth. Of course, in other embodiments, the second portion 122 of the cover 120 may be formed from a single piece of fabric if the fabric itself is of sufficient size.
In summary, the dual-purpose device of the furniture module of the present invention has two use states, and when the two wrapping members are closed together, the cover body is foldable and stored in the inner space, so that the dual-purpose structure can be used as a throw pillow or a back cushion. When the two cladding parts are unfolded, the cover body is suitable for being unfolded to cladding furniture, and can be used as a protective cover or a dustproof cover. In one embodiment, since the cover is fixed to the covering member, the cover will not separate from the covering member, and a user can directly use the two covering members to receive the cover without having to find a bag. In another embodiment, the cover may be separate from the two cover members, and the user may still receive the cover between the two cover members. In addition, the two-purpose device after storage can also be directly used as a throw pillow or a back cushion to be matched with furniture for use, so that the comfort of a user is improved. Claims (20)
1. A dual-purpose device adapted to mate with furniture, comprising:
two cover members partially connected and selectively closed together or spread apart, when the cover members are closed together, an interior space is formed between the cover members; and
when the two cladding parts are closed together, the cover body can be folded and contained in the inner space, the two-purpose structure is used as a throw pillow or a back cushion,
the cover is adapted to be unfolded to cover the furniture when the cover is unfolded.
2. The dual-purpose device of claim 1, wherein the cover is secured to at least one of the two cover members.
3. The dual-purpose device of claim 2, wherein the cover member comprises a first coupling member and a second coupling member at two edges and removably secured to each other, the first coupling member being secured to the second coupling member when the cover members are closed together to maintain the cover member in a closed condition, the cover being sewn to the cover members adjacent the two edges when the cover members are unfolded.
4. The dual-purpose device of claim 3, wherein the first and second coupling members comprise a zipper pack, a button and buttonhole combination, or a velcro combination.
5. The dual-purpose device of claim 2, wherein at least a portion of the housing includes an inner layer structure and an outer layer structure, the inner layer structure being secured to the at least one of the two cover members.
6. The dual-purpose device of claim 2, wherein the cover comprises two first portions, a second portion and a third portion connected to the two first portions, the first portion covering a side of the piece of furniture, the second portion covering a front side of the piece of furniture, the third portion covering a back side of the piece of furniture, the second portion being secured to the at least one of the cover members.
7. The dual-purpose device of claim 1, wherein the cover includes an opening and a third coupling member adjacent the opening, the third coupling member being secured to the piece of furniture when the cover is deployed to cover the piece of furniture.
8. The dual-purpose device of claim 7, wherein the third coupling member comprises an elastic band, a strap, an adhesive strip, or a buckle strip.
9. The dual use device of claim 1, wherein the dual use structure is square, rectangular, circular or oval when the two cladding members are closed together.
10. A furniture module, comprising:
furniture; and
a dual-purpose device comprising:
two cover members partially connected and selectively closed together or spread apart, when the cover members are closed together, an interior space is formed between the cover members; and
the cover body is provided with a plurality of holes,
when the two cladding parts are closed together, the cover body can be folded and contained in the inner space, the two-purpose structure is used as a throw pillow or a back cushion,
when the cover is unfolded, the cover is unfolded to cover the furniture.
11. The furniture module of claim 10 wherein the cover is secured to at least one of the two cover members.
12. The furniture module according to claim 11, wherein the cover member includes a first coupling member and a second coupling member at two edges and detachably secured to each other, the first coupling member being secured to the second coupling member when the cover members are closed together to maintain the closed state of the cover members, the cover being sewn to the two cover members adjacent the two edges when the cover members are unfolded.
13. The furniture module of claim 12, wherein the first and second coupling members comprise a zipper pack, a button and buttonhole combination, or a velcro combination.
14. The furniture module according to claim 11, wherein at least part of the cover comprises an inner layer structure and an outer layer structure, the inner layer structure being secured to the at least one of the cladding members.
15. The furniture module according to claim 11, wherein the housing comprises two first portions, a second portion and a third portion connected to the two first portions, the first portion covering a side of the furniture, the second portion covering a front face of the furniture, the third portion covering a back face of the furniture, the second portion being secured to the at least one of the two cover members.
16. The furniture module of claim 10, wherein the housing includes an opening and a third coupling member adjacent the opening, the third coupling member being secured to the furniture when the housing is deployed to encase the furniture.
17. The furniture module of claim 16, wherein the third coupling member comprises an elastic band, a strap, an adhesive strip, or a buckle strip.
18. The furniture module of claim 10 wherein the dual use structure is square, rectangular, circular or oval when the two cladding members are closed together.
19. The furniture module of claim 10, wherein the furniture comprises a chair, a table, or a bed.
20. The furniture module according to claim 10, wherein the unfolded profile of the cover corresponds to the profile of the furniture.
