Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of pressable pumps, in particular to a container and a pump assembly thereof.
Background
Containers having a content discharging function are often used in daily life, and the content may be, for example, a hand cleanser, a pharmaceutical agent, a cosmetic liquid, a shampoo, or the like. In the container, the contents therein can be discharged by the pressing operation of the pressing lever.
Chinese patent publication No. CN110155489a describes a pump assembly and a container having a content discharging function. In the pump assembly, a first cavity is defined in the pump outer shell, and a piston part capable of being respectively and slidably in sealing contact with the inner side wall surface and the outer side wall surface of the first cavity is arranged in the first cavity, so that the first cavity is divided into a first air cavity and a second air cavity by the piston part. When the rod connected with the piston part is pressed, the piston part can be driven to stretch the first air cavity and compress the second air cavity, so that the content in the container body is discharged through the discharge channel. Because the piston part can rebound under the action of the combined force of the gas pressure in the first air cavity and the gas pressure in the second air cavity to drive the rod body to rebound, the rod body is suitable for being pressed again, therefore, a spring for rebound of the rod body is not required to be arranged in the pump assembly, the pump assembly can be made of plastic materials completely, metal materials cannot be mixed, and the pump assembly is easy to recycle.
However, the inventors found that the pump assembly as described in chinese patent publication No. CN110155489a requires both the piston portion and the piston body to be in slidable sealing contact with the pump housing cavity, making the manufacturing process difficult. It is a current challenge to provide a pump assembly that is easy to recycle while simplifying manufacturing difficulties.

Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this application belongs; the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the application; the terms "comprising" and "having" and any variations thereof in the description of the application and the claims and the description of the drawings above are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion.
An example configuration of a container 1000 having a content discharging function is shown as fig. 1. The container 1000 includes a pump assembly 1 and a container body 2, and the pump assembly 1 is mounted on the container body 2 for discharging the contents CW in the container body 2.
In order to solve the problems of the prior art, in one aspect, the present application provides a pump assembly, which is specifically described below by way of a number of examples.
First embodiment:
Fig. 2 to 9D show an example configuration of the pump assembly 1 according to the first embodiment of the present application. As previously mentioned, the pump assembly 1 is adapted to be mounted on the container body 2.
It is to be understood that the drawings are by way of example only and are not drawn to scale and should not be construed to limit the true scope of the invention.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, the pump assembly 1 includes a main housing 10, a built-in member 11, and a plunger assembly 12. The plunger assembly 12 further includes a plunger body 120, a sleeve member 121, and a piston member 122, which are further described in detail below by way of illustration.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic semi-sectional view of the main casing 10, in which one end of the main casing 10 is opened with an opening 100 and the other end has a casing bottom wall 101, and a pump suction port 102 is opened in the center of the casing bottom wall 101, and it can be understood from the description of fig. 1 that the inside of the main casing 10 communicates with the container body 2 through the pump suction port 102, so that the content CW in the container body 2 can enter the main casing 10 through the pump suction port 102. It will be appreciated that in the configuration shown in the figures, the bottom wall 101 is provided at a distance from the end of the main housing 10, forming a receiving opening 103 for connection with the straw 3, the straw 3 being used to guide the contents CW into the main housing 10. In other suitable embodiments, the bottom wall 101 may be provided at the end of the main housing 10, and the suction tube 3 may be connected to the bottom wall 101 by other connection structures, such as a snap fit.
It will be appreciated that in the illustrated embodiment, the body portion of the pump assembly 1 may be generally a body of revolution about its central axis, and thus for convenience, reference may also be made below to the vertical direction of the pump assembly 10 in fig. 2 (up-down direction, i.e. along the central axis of the pump assembly 1 in fig. 2), the radial direction (i.e. the direction diverging outwardly from the central axis of the pump assembly 1 in fig. 2), and the circumferential direction (i.e. the direction of revolution about the central axis). It is to be understood that the description does not limit the cross-section of particular components of the pump assembly 1 to circular, for example, the main housing 10 and/or the insert 11 do not necessarily represent a cylinder having a circular cross-section, but may be a cylinder having other shapes such as square, rectangular, etc. cross-section.
Fig. 5A shows a schematic perspective view of the insert 11, and fig. 5B shows a schematic semi-sectional view of the insert 11, wherein it can be appreciated from fig. 1,4 and 5B that the insert 11 can be mounted from the opening 100 at one end of the main housing 10. The inner member 11 includes a top wall 110, an inner cylinder wall 111, and an outer cylinder wall 112, the inner cylinder wall 111 and the outer cylinder wall 112 extend downward from the top wall 110, respectively, and an annular chamber 113 is formed between the outer cylinder wall 112 and the inner cylinder wall 111, and a through hole 114 is defined in the inner cylinder wall 111. It will be appreciated that the through-hole 114 is a through-hole portion provided through the top wall 110.
It will be appreciated that the use of spatial relationship words such as "upper," "lower," "vertical," "high," "low," etc. herein to describe one element or feature in relation to another element or feature in the figures is facilitated by reference to the orientation of the element or feature in the normal state shown in fig. 1, which is intended to encompass other orientations of the element or component in use or operation than that depicted in the figures. For example, if the component in the drawings is turned over, elements described as "on" other elements or features would then be oriented "under" the other elements or features, and the spatially relative descriptors used herein should be interpreted accordingly.
Fig. 6A shows a schematic perspective view of the plunger body 120, and fig. 6B shows a schematic semi-sectional view of the plunger body 120, with a discharge channel 1200 defined in the plunger body 120, the discharge channel 1200 for guiding the discharge of the content CW. As can be appreciated from a combination of fig. 1, 5B and 6B, the plunger body 120 can extend from the through hole 114 into the interior of the main housing 10. One end of the compression bar body 120 extending into the main housing 10 is provided with a first matching portion 1201 protruding towards the outer side of the compression bar body 120, the outer periphery of the bar body of the compression bar body 120 is provided with a second matching portion 1202, and the first matching portion 1201 and the second matching portion 1202 are separated by a distance along the axial direction of the compression bar body 120, wherein the axial direction of the compression bar body 120 can be understood as the axial extending direction of the compression bar body 120.
Fig. 7A shows a schematic perspective view of the inner member 121, fig. 7B shows a schematic semi-sectional view of the inner member 121, and referring to fig. 1, 6B and 7B, it can be appreciated that the inner member 121 can be sleeved on the outer periphery of the compression rod body 120, and the second engaging portion 1201 can be engaged with the end portion 1210 of the inner member 121 to limit the movement of the inner member 121 along the axial direction of the compression rod body 120.
Fig. 8A shows a schematic perspective view of the piston member 122, fig. 8B shows a schematic semi-sectional view of the piston member 122, and as can be understood from fig. 1, 6B, 7B and 8B, the piston member 122 can be installed around the outer periphery of the inner member 121 in a sleeved manner. The piston member 122 has a piston portion 1220 at one end and a third fitting portion 1221 at the other end.
Fig. 9A to 9D show schematic views of the pump assembly 1 in various states, respectively, wherein in the assembled state shown in fig. 1, the piston portion 1220 is located in the annular chamber 113 and is in slidable sealing contact with the outer wall surface of the inner cylinder wall 111 and the inner wall surface of the outer cylinder wall 112, respectively, and in the assembled state, the third fitting portion 1221 of the piston member 122 and the inner sleeve member 121 are located between the first fitting portion 1201 and the second fitting portion 1202, respectively, and the first fitting portion 1201 and the second fitting portion 1202 together restrict the movement of the inner sleeve member 121 and the piston member 122 in the axial direction of the compression rod body 120, that is, the compression rod body 120, the inner sleeve member 121 and the piston member 122 are assembled into one body by the first fitting portion 1201 and the second fitting portion 1202. At the same time, the first fitting portion 1201 is in slidable sealing contact with at least a portion of the inside of the main casing 10.
It will be understood that "slidably sealing contact" means that the two elements are slidable relative to each other while maintaining tightness between the slip fit interfaces, for example, by deformable features of the material such as the plastic itself, or by providing sufficient area of the slip fit interface. For example, the outer diameter of the inner cylinder wall 111 may be set to be slightly larger than the inner diameter of the piston portion 1220 in a normal state (i.e., when no external force is applied), so that an interference fit may be formed therebetween, with better sealing performance. It is also understood that, taking the "outer diameter of the inner cylinder wall 111" as an example, the outer diameter means the diameter of the wall surface of the inner cylinder wall 111 located radially outward.
In this state, when pressure is applied to the end of the compression rod body 120, the inner sleeve member 121 and the piston member 122 are driven to move in the main housing 10, and during the movement, the compression rod body 120, the inner sleeve member 121 and the piston member 122 can move from the state shown in fig. 9A to the state shown in fig. 9B or from the state shown in fig. 9B to the state shown in fig. 9C.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, a check valve cartridge 4 is provided at the pump intake port 102 of the pump assembly 1. When pressure is applied to the end of the plunger body 120 to move it to the state shown in fig. 9C, the pump assembly 1 and the entire container 1000 have a small vertical size and a compact structure. It should be noted that during this process, the pump intake port 102 is always closed by the one-way valve element 4 (in the drawing, approximately in the shape of an inverted cone), without the contents CW in the container body 20 flowing out.
When in use, the pressure lever body 120 can be lifted, and the pressure lever body 120 moves from fig. 9C and 9B to fig. 9A, in the process, the one-way valve core 4 gradually opens the pump suction port 102, and part of the content CW is guided from the container body 2 into the main housing 10 under the action of air pressure and accumulated between the first fitting portion 1201 at the lower portion of the pressure lever body 120 and the housing bottom wall 101.
In the state shown in fig. 9A, when the lever body 120 is pressed to move from the state shown in fig. 9A toward the state shown in fig. 9C, since the piston portion 1220 vertically partitions the annular chamber 113 into the lower chamber 113A and the closed upper chamber 113B (as shown in fig. 9B), as the lever body 120 moves downward with the piston portion 1220, the pressure difference between the lower chamber 113A and the upper chamber 113B becomes larger, thereby providing an elastic restoring force for the upward rebound of the piston portion 1220. The piston portion 1220, along with the elastic restoring force applied to the plunger body 120 and the inner member 121, provides the elastic restoring force for the plunger assembly 12 to rebound upward through the first engaging portion 1201 and the second engaging portion 1202. It should be noted that, in the process from fig. 9A, 9B to 9C, the check valve element 4 gradually closes the pump suction port 102. After repeatedly lifting and pressing the pressing lever body 120, a sufficient amount of the content CW is accumulated between the first fitting part 1201 of the lower portion of the pressing lever body 120 and the case bottom wall 101 and is discharged through the discharge passage 1200. The specific process of discharging the content by pressing can be seen in, for example, chinese patent No. 109649819a, which is not repeated here.
Accordingly, the container 1000 having the pump assembly 1 described above is free from the provision of a spring, and the plunger assembly 12 is sprung upward as a whole to effect discharge of the contents CW from the container body 2.
Meanwhile, the compression rod body 120, the inner sleeve 121 and the piston member 122 are assembled into a whole through the first fitting portion 1201 and the second fitting portion 1202, so that in the manufacturing process, only the piston member 122 is required to be respectively ensured to be in slidable sealing contact with the wall surface of the annular chamber 113, and the end portion of the compression rod body 120 is required to be in slidable sealing contact with the inside of the main housing 10, and the assembly forming manner simplifies the processing and manufacturing difficulty of the compression rod assembly 12, so that the pump assembly 1 is easy to manufacture as a whole.
In the description of embodiments of the present application, the technical terms "first," "second," and the like are used merely to distinguish between different objects and are not to be construed as indicating or implying a relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated, a particular order or a primary or secondary relationship. In the description of the embodiments of the present application, the meaning of "plurality" is two or more unless explicitly defined otherwise.
It will be appreciated that reference herein to two directions being "perpendicular", "coincident", "parallel", etc. does not necessarily require that the strict angular requirements in a mathematical sense be met, but rather that certain tolerance ranges are allowed, for example, within 20 ° of the angle required in a mathematical sense, whereas the expression "along a certain direction" or "in a certain direction" etc. means that there is at least a component in that direction, preferably within 45 ° of that direction, more preferably within 20 °, even 10 °,5 °. It is also to be understood that the ranges mentioned herein include the endpoints unless otherwise indicated.
Alternatively, in some embodiments of the first embodiment, as shown in fig. 6A, the first mating portion 1201 and the second mating portion 1202 are convex ring structures protruding from the compression bar body 120, and the convex ring structures may be understood as ring structures protruding outwards from the outer contour of the compression bar body 120. Specifically, the first engaging portion 1201 may be a first convex ring disposed at one end of the compression bar body 120 and protruding outwards, and the second engaging portion 1202 is a second convex ring protruding from the shaft of the compression bar body 120. Meanwhile, as shown in fig. 8B, the third fitting portion 1221 is also a convex ring provided to protrude from the inner side surface of the piston member 122 toward the inner side of the piston member 122, that is, a third convex ring. In the assembled state as shown in fig. 1, the inner sleeve 121 and the third convex ring are assembled between the first convex ring and the second convex ring in an interference manner, that is, the inner sleeve 121 and the third convex ring are clamped between the first convex ring and the second convex ring in an interference manner, so that the compression rod body 120, the inner sleeve 121 and the piston member 122 are assembled into a whole. In other alternative embodiments, the first engagement portion 1201 and/or the second engagement portion 1202 and/or the third engagement portion 1221 may be other configurations than a collar structure, such as a snap-fit structure or a claw structure, to limit movement of the plunger body 120, the inner member 121, and the piston member 122 relative to one another.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, optionally, the end 1210 of the inner member 121 has a fourth protruding ring 1211 protruding toward the inner side of the inner member 121, and the fourth protruding ring 1211 cooperates with the second protruding ring to limit the movement of the inner member in the axial direction of the compression rod body. By providing the fourth collar 1211 to mate with the second collar, rather than directly configuring the end of the inner sleeve member 121 to mate with the second collar, the fourth collar 1211 is capable of undergoing elastic deformation when a sufficiently large external force is applied, such that the fourth collar 1211 is disengaged from, i.e., in contact with, the second collar to facilitate disassembly of the compression bar assembly 12.
With continued reference to fig. 9A to 9B, in the first embodiment, the internal part 11 is mounted at one end of the main housing 10, and at least a portion of the main housing 10 restricts the movement of the internal part 11 toward the inside of the main housing 10, i.e. the internal part 11 mounted at one end of the main housing 10 does not have any degree of freedom to move toward the inside of the main housing 10.
Specifically, in one embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, the main casing 10 includes a first casing 10A and a second casing 10B, the first casing 10A having an inner diameter larger than that of the second casing 10B to form a shoulder 104 located inside the main casing 10 between the first casing 10A and the second casing 10B, wherein, in the assembled state shown in fig. 9A to 9C, the shoulder 104 can abut against the other end 115 of the built-in member 11 opposite to the top wall 110 to restrict movement of the built-in member 11 toward the inside of the main casing. I.e. it can be understood that in the rest condition as shown in the figures, the insert 11 is supported on the upper surface of the shoulder 104. Meanwhile, in this embodiment, the first fitting portion 1201 is in slidable sealing contact with the inner wall that is the second housing 10B. Alternatively, in some other embodiments than those shown in the figures, the insert 11 may be fixedly connected to one end of the main housing 10 by, for example, a snap-fit connection, and may also serve to limit movement of the insert 11 toward the interior of the main housing 10. However, by providing the second housing 10B having a smaller inner diameter, the first fitting portion 1201, i.e., the first convex portion, can be made to be in slidable sealing contact with the inner wall of the main housing 10 without protruding too much.
Further, as shown in fig. 9A to 9C, in the first embodiment, a fourth mating portion 51 is further disposed on the outer side of the top wall 110 of the inner member 11, the fourth mating portion 51 is disposed corresponding to the through hole 114 of the top wall 110, and a fifth mating portion 1203 is further disposed on the outer periphery of the shaft of the compression rod body 120. When an external force is applied to the end of the compression bar assembly 12 to move the compression bar assembly 12 towards the bottom wall 101 until the compression bar assembly moves to a state as shown in fig. 9C, in this state, the fifth engaging portion 1203 moves to a position where it engages with the fourth engaging portion 51, and the compression bar assembly 12 is restricted from extending into the main housing 10 by the engagement of the fourth engaging portion 51 and the fifth engaging portion 1203. Meanwhile, in this state, the end of the compression bar body 120 extending into the main housing is separated from the housing bottom wall 101 by a distance H, and the piston portion 1220 abuts against the shoulder 104.
Further, referring to fig. 8B and 9C, the piston member 122 further includes a reinforcing portion 1222, and the reinforcing portion 1222 is correspondingly disposed on the outer periphery of the piston portion 1220, such that the reinforcing portion 1222 abuts against the shoulder 104 in the engaged state of the fourth engaging portion 51 and the fifth engaging portion 1203. The strength of the piston portion 1220 can be improved by providing the reinforcing portion 1222, so that the piston portion 1220 is less likely to be deformed against the shoulder 104 even under a large external force.
Further, referring to fig. 9A to 9D, a sixth engaging portion 1204 is further provided on the outer periphery of the shaft of the compression bar body 120, and a seventh engaging portion 52 corresponding to the through hole 114 is further provided on the outer side of the top wall 110 of the inner member 11. In the engaged state of the fourth engaging portion 51 and the fifth engaging portion 1203 as shown in fig. 9C, an external force is continuously applied to the end portion of the compression bar assembly 12, so that the fourth engaging portion 51 and the fifth engaging portion 1203 can be disengaged from each other, and meanwhile, due to the abutment of the piston portion 1220 and the shoulder 104, an external force can be applied to the second engaging portion 1202 under the interaction of the two, so that the second engaging portion 1202 is disengaged from the end portion of the inner member 121, and the inner member 121 and the piston member 122 are allowed to move along the axial direction of the compression bar body 120. In this embodiment, the preferred embodiment is to provide the fourth collar 1211 at the end 1210 of the inner sleeve 121 such that the fourth collar 1211 is elastically deformed when a sufficiently large external force is applied to release, i.e., contact, the fourth collar 1211 from the second collar. After the fourth protruding ring 1211 is released from the second protruding ring, the piston portion 1220 is pushed to move upwards under the action of air pressure, so as to drive the piston member 122 and the inner member 121 to rebound to the inner member 11 along the compression rod body 120, as shown in fig. 9D. Meanwhile, in the process of changing from 9C to 9D, the distance H is spaced to allow the compression bar body 120 to continue moving towards the bottom wall 101 until the end of the compression bar body 120 extending into the main housing abuts against the bottom wall 101. In this state, the sixth fitting portion 1204 moves to a position where it fits with the seventh fitting portion 52, and the movement of the lever body 120 inside the main casing 10 is restricted by the fitting of the seventh fitting portion 1204 with the sixth fitting portion 52, at this time, in the state shown in fig. 9D, the lever body 120 cannot move downward or upward inside the main casing 10. That is, the lever body 120 is locked in position in the engaged state of the seventh engaging portion 1204 and the sixth engaging portion 52. In the state shown in fig. 9D, by pulling the lever body 120 upward by an external force, the seventh fitting portion 1204 can be disengaged from the sixth fitting portion 52 to return the lever body 120 to the state shown in fig. 9A. through the aforesaid design, can make under the state of accomodating, the volume of compression pump subassembly to when making the pump subassembly use in the container, can mostly accomodate in the container, promoted the portability of pump subassembly and the container that has this pump subassembly. Meanwhile, since the piston part 1220 receives a larger gas pressure when the piston 122 moves to the relatively lower position, if the pump assembly is stored in this state, the piston part 1220 is worn for a longer time, and when the compression bar body 120 is compressed into the main housing 10, a distance H is reserved for the compression bar body 120 to release from the piston 122 and the inner sleeve 121, so that the piston 122 and the inner sleeve 121 rebound, and the longer compression bar body 120 extending outside the container body is stored, that is, the storage property of the pump assembly is ensured, and at the same time, wear of the piston portion 1220 can be prevented, and the service life of the pump assembly can be improved.
Alternatively, as shown in fig. 9A to 9D, the pump assembly further includes a cover 5 provided at an outer periphery of one end of the main casing 10, the cover 5 being centrally provided with a central hole 50, the central hole 50 being disposed in alignment with the through hole 114 in an assembled state. The fourth mating portion 51 is an upper surface of the cover 5, and the fifth mating portion 1203 is a convex ring or a convex portion disposed on the outer periphery of the compression bar body 120, and abuts against the upper surface of the cover 5 through the convex portion, so as to limit the compression bar body 120 from continuously extending into the main housing 10. The seventh mating portion 52 is disposed on the inner periphery of the central hole 50, specifically, in the embodiment shown in the drawings, the seventh mating portion 52 is an annular groove disposed on the inner periphery of the central hole 50, and the sixth mating portion 1204 is a convex ring or a protrusion disposed on the outer periphery of the compression rod body 120, and the convex ring or the protrusion is engaged with the annular groove to lock the compression rod body 120 in the cover 5. Of course, in other suitable embodiments, the seventh mating portion 52 may be a protrusion, and the corresponding six mating portions 1204 are ring grooves. In another embodiment, instead of the cover 5, an annular member may be provided to protrude outside the top wall 110 of the inner member 11, and the fourth mating portion and the seventh mating portion may be provided in the annular member.
