In this embodiment, the remote terminal may be supported to perform cell selection or reselection evaluation in various states.
In the embodiment of the application, the remote terminal performs the evaluation of cell selection or reselection in the first state, wherein the remote terminal has completed the selection or reselection of the relay in the first state or has connected the relay in the first state. Specifically, fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a hardware structure of a relay for implementing an embodiment of the present application.
The relay 800 includes, but is not limited to, at least some of the components of a radio frequency unit 801, a network module 802, an audio output unit 803, an input unit 804, a sensor 805, a display unit 806, a user input unit XXX, an interface unit 808, a memory 809, and a processor 810.

It should be appreciated that in embodiments of the present application, the input unit 804 may include a graphics processor (Graphics Processing Unit, GPU) 8041 and a microphone 8042, with the graphics processor 8041 processing image data of still pictures or video obtained by an image capturing device (e.g., a camera) in a video capturing mode or an image capturing mode. The display unit 806 may include a display panel 8061, and the display panel 8061 may be configured in the form of a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode, or the like. The user input unit XXX includes a touch panel XXX1 and other input devices XXX2. Touch panel XXX1, also referred to as a touch screen. In the embodiment corresponding to fig. 8, the relay is taken as a relay terminal for illustration, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited to the specific structure of the relay, for example, the relay may be a dedicated relay device or a relay node.
The embodiment of the application also provides a readable storage medium, on which a program or an instruction is stored, which when executed by a processor, implements each process of the above embodiment of the cell evaluation method, and can achieve the same technical effects, so that repetition is avoided, and no further description is given here.

In case the remote terminal determines that the cell selection or reselection condition is met, the remote terminal continues to camp on the indirect link of the remote terminal and the relay, or
In the case that the remote terminal determines that the cell selection or reselection condition is satisfied, the remote terminal performs cell selection or reselection, resides on a direct link, and performs at least one of:
notifying the relay that the remote terminal has performed cell selection or reselection;
Triggering release of a unicast link between the remote terminal and the relay;
triggering a corresponding tracking area update TAU or radio access network notification area update RNAU process under the condition that the selected or reselected cell and the service cell connected by the relay are in different tracking areas TA or radio access network notification areas RNAs;
in case the selected or reselected cell does not belong to the TA or RNA of the remote terminal, the corresponding TAU or RNAU procedure is triggered.

14. A method for cell evaluation, comprising:
In case a relay is already connected to a remote terminal, the relay performs an evaluation of cell selection or reselection;
In the case where the relay determines that the condition for cell selection or reselection is satisfied, the relay performs cell selection or reselection;
Wherein the relay is informed to the remote terminal that the cell selection or reselection has been performed after the cell selection or reselection is performed, or after the cell selection or reselection is performed after the confirmation of the remote terminal is received;
wherein the remote terminal continues to reside on an indirect link between the remote terminal and the relay, or, if the remote terminal determines that the cell selection or reselection condition is satisfied
And under the condition that the remote terminal determines that the condition of cell selection or reselection is met, the remote terminal executes cell selection or reselection, resides on a direct link and executes at least one of the following:
notifying the relay that the remote terminal has performed cell selection or reselection;

a third execution module, configured to execute at least one of the following when the remote terminal determines that a condition of cell selection or reselection is satisfied:
performing relay selection or reselection, wherein a selected or reselected relay serving cell is a target neighbor cell, and the target neighbor cell is a neighbor cell for performing cell selection or reselection determination;
in case the selected or reselected cell does not belong to the TA or RNA of the remote terminal, the corresponding TAU or RNAU procedure is triggered.
27. The apparatus according to any one of claims 17 to 23, wherein the apparatus further comprises:
an evaluation module, configured to perform relay selection or reselection evaluation by the remote terminal in a second state, and not perform cell selection or reselection evaluation, where the second state includes at least one of:

28. The apparatus of any of claims 17 to 23, wherein the remote terminal having connected a relay in the first state comprises at least one of:
The remote terminal and the relay have established a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection;
and under the condition that the remote terminal is in an idle state or an inactive state, the remote terminal is connected with the relay.
29. The apparatus of claim 28, wherein the remote terminal has established an RRC connection with the relay, comprising:
The remote terminal has established an RRC connection with the relay and the relay has established a Uu connection.
30. A cell evaluation apparatus, a relay including the apparatus, comprising:
a first execution module for executing an evaluation of cell selection or reselection in case that the relay has been connected with the remote terminal;
a second execution module, configured to execute cell selection or reselection when the relay determines that a condition for cell selection or reselection is satisfied;
Wherein the relay is informed to the remote terminal that the cell selection or reselection has been performed after the cell selection or reselection is performed, or after the cell selection or reselection is performed after the confirmation of the remote terminal is received;

31. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the apparatus further comprises at least one of:
a reservation module, configured to reserve a unicast link between the relay and the remote terminal;
