The reuse of waste edible oils has become an important and urgent issue. The preparation method of the waste edible oil gel is characterized in that the whole preparation process is carried out at normal temperature and normal pressure; after completely dissolving ethyl cellulose in butyl acetate, adding nano calcium hydroxide, stirring for 30-60 minutes to completely disperse nano calcium hydroxide powder, finally adding waste edible oil, stirring for 60-100 minutes, and standing for 12-24 hours to obtain the waste edible oil gel.
The waste edible oil comprises waste rapeseed oil, waste corn oil or waste peanut oil.
The preparation of the nano calcium hydroxide comprises the following steps: the preparation of nano calcium hydroxide is described in the previously issued patent (ZL 201711361358.7); firstly, adding dimethylformamide into a calcium chloride solution, and stirring to obtain a calcium chloride mixed solution; and then pouring the calcium chloride mixed solution into a sodium hydroxide solution to synthesize nano calcium hydroxide, washing the synthesized nano calcium hydroxide with saturated lime water, and finally drying to obtain nano calcium hydroxide powder.
Advantageous effects
According to the waste edible oil gel and the preparation method thereof, ethyl cellulose is firstly dissolved in butyl acetate, then nano calcium hydroxide and waste edible oil are added, and the waste edible oil gel is obtained after stirring for a period of time. The gel is carried out at normal temperature and normal pressure, and is extremely simple. More importantly, the content of the waste edible oil in the gel can reach 17% -21%, which is 1.7-2.1 times of the content of the gel of the waste edible oil reported at present.
