However, the MDT measurement result recorded by the terminal in the energy-saving state is greatly reduced in practicability, and even results in wrong judgment of cell coverage during network optimization (for example, when the recording time comes, the measurement result stored by the terminal is measured before a long time, and the error is large, or there is no measurement value available in the terminal, the terminal cannot record the measurement value of some cells at the current time, and actually, the signals of the cells are good).

The invention is described below in conjunction with the scenario embodiments.
The traditional MDT has the functions of collecting and reporting a measurement result to a network side by a terminal and assisting the network in network optimization, but due to the introduction of a measurement relaxation technology, adverse effects are brought to the reported measurement result, the accuracy is influenced, and the network side is misled to be insufficient in coverage. The embodiment provides a method for reporting terminal measurement, on one hand, through the indication of a network side, a terminal is made to know whether energy-saving requirements or MDT measurement record requirements should be met preferentially; on the other hand, when the terminal records a log (log), the terminal also records the related information of the measurement relaxation, and the auxiliary network side acquires the measurement results at which moments in the measurement record are obtained during the measurement relaxation period of the terminal, so that misleading of the relaxed measurement results on network optimization is avoided.
The following description is made separately from the network side and the terminal.
First, the network side indicates whether measurements can be relaxed during logged MDT
The network side sends indication information to the terminal, wherein the indication information comprises at least one of the following information:
logged MDT can overlay measurement relaxation; that is, if the terminal is configured with logged MDT, the terminal does not perform measurement relaxation during the running period of the T330 timer;
measurement relaxation may cover logged MDT; that is, if the terminal is configured with logged MDT, the terminal performs measurement relaxation during the running period of the T330 timer;
pause logged MDT during measurement relaxation; if the terminal meets the condition of measurement relaxation, starting the measurement relaxation and stopping the logged MDT so as to achieve the aim of thoroughly saving electricity;
whether measurement relaxation information is recorded in the log or not is used for indicating whether the terminal needs to record the measurement relaxation information in the log in a gathering way or not; alternatively, a multiple of relaxation may also be indicated, e.g., a measurement period that is 2 times, 4 times, 8 times, etc.;
measuring the effective time; the terminal receives the effective measurement time sent by the network side, the effective time is used for evaluation, and if the distance between the measurement result and the log record time exceeds the effective time, the measurement result is not recorded;
the terminal meeting the measurement relaxation condition stops recording the adjacent regions with the same frequency, but needs to continuously measure and record the adjacent regions with different frequencies; this is because the terminal meeting the measurement relaxation condition is likely to be in the cell center, and even if the same-frequency neighboring cell can be measured, the signal is very weak, because the network side can instruct the terminal to measure only the different-frequency neighboring cell through the message.
The T330 timer is a timer which runs during the terminal making the Logged MDT.
The terminal judges whether measurement relaxation can be performed during the logged MDT according to the indication information sent by the network side, and further relaxes the measurement of the adjacent regions with the same frequency or the measurement of the different frequency.
Secondly, when the terminal records the logged MDT, recording measurement relaxation information
In the log recording process, the terminal may experience multiple cells, and the energy saving configuration of each cell is different, for example: different cells set different thresholds for relaxation measurement, which may be power value thresholds or speed thresholds, so that the measurement result measured by the terminal in each cell may not intuitively reflect the network coverage.
According to the related technology, the network side receives logs reported by the terminal, but does not know which log information is data collected after the terminal relaxes and measures. To solve this problem, the terminal is required to record log and also record whether the terminal is currently in a relaxed state for measurement.
Therefore, in this embodiment, when the terminal performs logged MDT, at least one of the following information is recorded and reported:
a time stamp; indicating the occurrence time of the current record;
a serving cell ID;
serving cell measurement relaxation for indicating that measurement of the serving cell is relaxed when the current recording is made;
the measurement of the adjacent regions with the same frequency is relaxed, and the measurement of the adjacent regions with the same frequency is indicated to be relaxed; that is, the terminal does not measure and record the measurement result of the neighboring cell with the same frequency, or may indicate the relaxation multiple, for example, the measurement period is enlarged by 2 times, 4 times, 8 times, etc.;
pilot frequency measurement relaxation for indicating that the measurement of pilot frequency is relaxed; the terminal does not measure and record the measurement result of the pilot frequency, and the pilot frequency measurement relaxation information can also contain frequency points for indicating which frequency point is relaxed to measure; or may also indicate a multiple of relaxation, e.g., a measurement period expanded by 2, 4, 8, etc.;
relaxing the amount of change in measured Srxlev (received level value) or RSRP (reference symbol received power); i.e. the amount of Srxlev or RSRP change that the serving cell configures to determine measurement relaxation. Reporting the information to a network side for representing that the measurement value of the serving cell or the neighbor cell does not exceed the Srxlev or RSRP variation although the current measurement is relaxed;
relaxing the threshold for measured Srxlev or RSRP; the measurement relaxed RSRP threshold of the cell recorded by the current log is used for representing the lowest Srxlev or RSRP recorded by the current serving cell, the measurement relaxed scales are different due to different Srxlev or RSRP thresholds of relaxed measurements of different cells, and the information is reported for the webmaster to judge the lowest Srxlev or RSRP of the serving cell at the current recording time.
The above description focuses on the terminal recording log and carrying measurement relaxation information when reporting the log.
The following two embodiments list another two applicable scenarios, that is, the measurement relaxation information is recorded when a connection establishment failure, a random access collision, or a failure occurs, and is reported to the network side.
Example one
The connection establishment failure message carries measurement release information, which is used for assisting the network side to judge whether the connection establishment failure is caused by the measurement release that the terminal resides in a non-optimal cell. The method comprises the following steps as shown in fig. 5:
step 501: when the terminal is in an idle state, if a measurement relaxation condition is met, measurement relaxation is started, the terminal does not measure the adjacent cells and/or adjacent frequencies, or the period of measuring the adjacent cells is prolonged, so that the terminal can reside in a non-optimal cell (the optimal cell is usually the cell with the highest ranking in a cell reselection R criterion);
step 502: the terminal initiates a connection establishment request;
step 503: determining that the RRC connection is failed to establish, namely CEF (RRC failure), recording a CEF Report by the terminal, and reporting the CEF Report when entering the connection next time; the CEF report carries measurement relaxation information, and is used for assisting a network side to judge whether the CEF is caused by measurement relaxation.
Wherein the measurement relaxation information comprises at least one of:
a time stamp;
a serving cell ID;
serving cell measurement relaxation for indicating that the measurement of the serving cell is relaxed;
the measurement of the adjacent regions with the same frequency is relaxed, and the measurement of the adjacent regions with the same frequency is indicated to be relaxed;
pilot frequency measurement relaxation for indicating that the measurement of pilot frequency is relaxed;
relaxing the amount of change in measured Srxlev (received level value) or RSRP (reference symbol received power);
the threshold for measured Srxlev or RSRP is relaxed.
Example two
The above scheme is also applicable to random access Report (RA-Report), i.e., the terminal does not select the most suitable beam or the most suitable cell due to measurement relaxation, which may cause multiple collisions or random access failures for the random access of the terminal. Therefore, in this embodiment, the random access report sent by the terminal to the network side carries the measurement relaxation information, which is the same as in the first embodiment.
The embodiment of the invention can solve the problems of inaccurate MDT measurement and even misleading network optimization caused by simultaneously starting measurement relaxation and MDT.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.
