Abstract
The invention discloses a video backup method and system based on a security and protection home gateway. The video backup method comprises the following steps that: the home gateway of a network video system periodically sends a link detection report to a server and judges whether a current network state is normal or not according to a link reply report responded by the server; if the current network state is normal, the home gateway uploads current video data of the network video system to the server; and if the current network state is abnormal, the home gateway stores the current video data of the network video system to a local storage space of the home gateway. The video backup method and system provided by the invention solve the problem that a home gateway monitoring video cannot be stored into a long-distance video storage server when the long-distance video storage server or a network is abnormal in the prior art through a local data backup mechanism when the network is abnormal, so that the integrity of video data can be effectively ensured, and the risk of losing the video data can be reduced.

Technical Field

Background
The network video monitoring system transmits video information in a digital form through a wired or wireless IP (Internet Protocol, Protocol for interconnection between networks), and can realize video monitoring and recording in a certain place as long as a home gateway can reach.
Video monitoring is an important component in the field of security protection, is a comprehensive system with strong precaution capacity, and is widely applied to many occasions due to intuition, accuracy, timeliness and rich information content. In recent years, with the rapid development of computers, networks, image processing, transmission technologies and home gateway technologies, video monitoring technologies have been developed.
With the large-scale deployment of the home gateways, the security protection field related to the home gateways is valued by more and more people. Due to the numerous home gateways and the core role in the home network, the technical revolution of the video monitoring industry is initiated, and the video monitoring industry is highly emphasized by academic circles, the industrial circles and the use departments, so that a plurality of researchers and organizations try to apply the home gateways to the security field, and the network video monitoring field is particularly prominent.
The traditional monitoring system needs to be specially provided with a monitoring center, and a user needs to go to the monitoring center if the user wants to check a monitoring picture or a video data. The monitoring center needs professional personnel to maintain and manage, and the cost of software and hardware is relatively high. If the network video monitoring system is installed, a manager can monitor real-time pictures or check video data by using a computer of the manager in an office of the manager, and multiple persons can be supported to monitor the pictures respectively without influencing each other. By adopting a system with a distributed architecture, the network monitoring equipment and the video server are distributed in different places, and a user can watch video monitoring in real time only by logging in a webpage or a client by using terminal equipment such as a PC (Personal computer), a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), a mobile phone and the like.
However, the network is not very versatile, and the network video storage system inevitably has various faults in the daily use process, such as: server failure, network failure, power failure of a machine room, serious time delay and packet loss in a network and the like. The situation can cause that the data of video monitoring cannot be uploaded to the remote video storage server, the real-time performance and integrity of the monitored video cannot be guaranteed necessarily, and the use of a user can be seriously influenced.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a video backup method and a video backup system based on a security type home gateway, which can better solve the problem that in the prior art, a home gateway monitoring video cannot be stored in a remote video storage server under the condition that a network server or a network is abnormal.
According to one aspect of the invention, a video backup method based on a security type home gateway is provided, and the method comprises the following steps:
a home gateway of a network video system periodically sends a link detection message to a server, and judges the current network state according to a link reply message responded by the server;
if the current network state is normal, the home gateway uploads the current video data of the network video system to the server;
and if the current network state is abnormal, the home gateway stores the current video data of the network video system to a local storage space of the home gateway.
The link reply message carries a link state, wherein the link state comprises a network normal state, a remote video storage server unreachable state, and a packet loss or delay state existing in the current network.
Wherein, the step of judging the current network state comprises the following steps:
when the link state is the network normal state, the current network state is normal;
when the link state is the unreachable state of the remote video storage server, the current network state is abnormal;
and when the link state is a packet loss or delay state of the current network, if the packet loss or delay does not affect the quality of the video data, the current network state is normal, otherwise, the current network state is abnormal.
After the home gateway stores the video data in the local storage space, the home gateway reminds a user of storing the video data in the local storage space through an indicating device.
And after the current network state is abnormal, the home gateway reduces the frequency of sending a link detection message to a server.
The home gateway uploads the video data to the server automatically or manually.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a video backup system based on a security type home gateway, the system including:
the video monitoring equipment is used for monitoring the controlled object and generating video data;
the home gateway is used for periodically sending a link detection message to a server, judging the current network state according to a link reply message responded by the server, uploading the current video data to the server if the current network state is normal, and storing the current video data to a local storage space of the home gateway if the current network state is abnormal.
And the server is used for responding to the link detection message of the home gateway and sending a link reply message to the home gateway.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention can better ensure the integrity of the video monitoring data, effectively avoid data loss under the condition of network abnormality and reduce the risk of data loss.

Detailed Description
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, and it should be understood that the preferred embodiments described below are only for the purpose of illustrating and explaining the present invention, and are not to be construed as limiting the present invention.

If the link detection module receives that the link state is '302', indicating that packet loss or delay occurs in the network at the moment, the home gateway counts the current network condition at the moment, and if the packet loss or delay in the network, namely the situation that network jitter does not affect the quality of the video file, the link state is set to '302-2', the link detection module sends an upload notification to the video file upload function module, and step S105 is executed; if packet loss or time delay in the network seriously affects the quality of the video file, setting the link state to be '302-1', sending a backup notification to a video file backup module by a link detection module, informing the video file backup module of the home gateway to simultaneously store the monitoring video in a storage space of the home gateway, and executing the step S104.
And step S104, locally backing up the video.
After receiving the backup notification sent by the link detection module, the video file backup module starts the local monitoring video backup function, and stores the currently recorded video file into a storage space of the home gateway, such as a mobile hard disk, a usb disk, a flash memory card, and the like.
When the monitoring video file is stored in the local storage space, the video file backup module sends a message to inform the status/indicator lamp module, namely the indicating device, and reminds the user that the video monitoring file is stored in the storage space of the home gateway due to network reasons through the color and the status of the indicator lamp.
After the monitoring video is stored locally, the link detection module sends a link detection message to the remote video storage server at regular time according to the set periodic link detection time, and step S101 is executed.
And step S105, uploading the video.
And after receiving the uploading notification of the link detection module, the video file uploading function module uploads the monitoring file to the remote video storage server, and the local backup function of the home gateway is not started.
The video file uploading function module function can be customized by a user, and the user can configure manual uploading and automatic uploading. When the user uploads the file, the user configures an FTP (file transfer Protocol) address of a remote storage server through a WEB page of a home gateway, uploads a locally stored video file to the remote video storage server, the user can select to browse a recorded video or delete the video file, the file is uploaded or deleted, and a status indicator lamp can be restored to an initial state. When automatic uploading is carried out, remote ftp server related information, such as a user name and a password for ftp address authentication, also needs to be set. When the link detection state is '300' or '302-2', the link detection module detects that the link of the remote video storage server is normal or abnormal but has little influence on the video quality, the local video backup function module stops working, the video file uploading module uploads the locally stored video to the designated file path of the remote video storage server through the FTP, and stores the related attributes of the start time and the end time of file storage in the data, and simultaneously deletes the files stored in the storage space of the home gateway and restores the state indicator lamp to the initial state.
After the monitoring video is uploaded to the remote video storage server, the link detection module sends a link detection message to the remote video storage server at regular time according to the set periodic link detection time, and step S101 is executed.
Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a video backup system based on a security home gateway, which is provided in an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 3, the system includes a home gateway storage device, a home gateway, a video monitoring device, a local video watching device, a remote video storage server, i.e., a server, and a remote video watching device.
The video monitoring equipment is used for monitoring the controlled object and generating video data.
And the home gateway storage equipment is used for storing the video data generated by the video monitoring equipment when the network state is abnormal.
And the local watching video equipment is used for watching the video stored on the home gateway storage equipment at any time.
And the home gateway is used for periodically sending a link detection message to the server and judging the current network state according to a link reply message responded by the server. The home gateway comprises a link detection module, a video file backup module, a video file uploading function module and a state/indicator light module, namely an indicating device.
The link detection module is used for detecting the state of the network link. The link detection module sets periodic link detection time and periodically sends a link detection message to the remote video storage server. And after receiving the message sent by the link detection module, the remote video storage server sends a link reply message carrying the link state to the home gateway. And after receiving a link reply message of the remote video storage server, the link detection module judges the current link state according to the specific identifier in the message and outputs the current link state to a video file backup module and a video file uploading function module of the home gateway. If the link state is '300', the network is normal at the moment, the remote video storage server can normally receive the video data uploaded by the home gateway, and the link detection module sends an uploading notification to the video file uploading function module. If the link state is '301', the network or the remote video storage server is in an unreachable state at the moment, the sent ICMP request cannot receive a link reply message, and the link detection module sends a backup notification to the video file backup module; if the link state is '302', indicating that packet loss or time delay exists in the current network state, the link detection module further counts the current network state, and if the packet loss or the time delay in the network does not affect the quality of the video file, the link detection module sends an uploading notification to the video file uploading function module; if packet loss or time delay in the network seriously affects the quality of the video file, the link detection module sends a backup message to the video file backup module to inform the video file backup module of the home gateway to simultaneously store the monitoring video in the storage space of the home gateway. In order to reduce the load brought to the home gateway by the link detection message, after the network state is judged to be abnormal, the link detection module appropriately reduces the sending frequency of the link detection message.
The video file backup module is used for backing up video files. After receiving the storage notification sent by the link detection module, the video file backup module starts the local monitoring video backup function, and stores the currently recorded video file into a storage space of the home gateway, such as a mobile hard disk, a usb disk, a flash memory card, and the like. When the monitoring video file is stored in the local storage space, the video file backup module sends a message to inform the state/indicator light module to change the state of the indicator light.
The video file uploading function module is used for uploading video files. And after receiving the uploading notification of the link detection module, the video file uploading function module uploads the monitoring file to the remote video storage server, and at the moment, the local backup function of the home gateway is not started. The video file uploading function module function can be customized by a user, and the user can configure manual uploading and automatic uploading. When the user uploads the file manually, the user configures an FTP address of a remote storage server through a WEB page of a home gateway, the locally stored video file is uploaded to the remote video storage server, the user can select to browse the recorded video or delete the video file, and after the file is uploaded or deleted, the state indicating lamp can be restored to the initial state. When the link detection state is '300' or '302-2', the link detection module detects that the link of the remote video storage server is normal or abnormal but has little influence on the video quality, the local video backup function module stops working, the video file uploading module uploads the locally stored video to the designated file path of the remote video storage server through the FTP, saves the start and end time related attributes of the file storage in the data, deletes the file stored in the storage space of the home gateway, and restores the state of the indicator light to the initial state.
The state/indicator light module is used for reminding a user that the monitoring video with the abnormal network is stored locally. After the state/indicator light module receives the notification of changing the indicator light and the state sent by the video file backup module, the flicker condition or the color of the change indicator light informs a user that the monitoring video is recorded and stored in the local space due to the network abnormality.
And the remote video storage server is used for responding to the link detection request of the home gateway and storing the video file when the network state is normal. And after receiving the link detection message sent by the link detection module of the home gateway, the remote video storage server sends a link reply message to the home gateway. When the remote video storage server actively cuts off the contact with the home gateway, the remote video storage server sends a related interrupt message to the home gateway, and the home gateway does not start the link detection module after receiving the interrupt message.
The remote video viewing device is used for viewing the video file on the remote video storage server. The remote video watching device can be a mobile phone or a PC, is connected to the remote video storage server through the Internet, and views the video files stored on the remote video storage server.
In summary, the invention solves the problem that the home gateway monitoring video cannot be stored in the remote video storage server under the abnormal condition of the remote video storage server or the network in the prior art through the local data backup mechanism when the abnormal condition of the network occurs, effectively ensures the integrity of the video data, and reduces the risk of video data loss.

1. A video backup method based on a security type home gateway is characterized by comprising the following steps:
a home gateway of a network video system periodically sends a link detection message to a server, and judges the current network state according to a link reply message responded by the server;
if the current network state is normal, the home gateway uploads the current video data of the network video system to the server;
and if the current network state is abnormal, the home gateway stores the current video data of the network video system to a local storage space of the home gateway.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the link reply packet carries a link status, wherein the link status includes a network normal status, a remote video storage server unreachable status, a packet loss or a time delay status of a current network.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein the step of determining the current network state comprises:
when the link state is the network normal state, the current network state is normal;
when the link state is the unreachable state of the remote video storage server, the current network state is abnormal;
and when the link state is a packet loss or delay state of the current network, if the packet loss or delay does not affect the quality of the video data, the current network state is normal, otherwise, the current network state is abnormal.
4. The method according to claim 3, wherein after the home gateway saves the video data to the local storage space, the home gateway reminds the user of saving the video data to the local storage space through an indicating device.
5. The method according to claim 3, wherein the home gateway reduces the frequency of sending link detection messages to the server after the current network status is abnormal.
6. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the uploading of the video data to the server by the home gateway is automatic uploading or manual uploading.
7. A video backup system based on a security type home gateway is characterized by comprising:
the video monitoring equipment is used for monitoring the controlled object and generating video data;
the home gateway is used for periodically sending a link detection message to a server, judging the current network state according to a link reply message responded by the server, uploading the current video data to the server if the current network state is normal, and storing the current video data to a local storage space of the home gateway if the current network state is abnormal.
And the server is used for responding to the link detection message of the home gateway and sending a link reply message to the home gateway.

the link detection module is further configured to determine that a current network state is normal when the link state is detected to be the network normal state, determine that the current network state is abnormal when the link state is detected to be the unreachable state of the remote video storage server, determine whether packet loss or delay affects the quality of the video data when the link state is detected to be a packet loss or delay state of the current network, determine that the current network state is normal if the packet loss or delay does not affect the quality of the video data, and determine that the current network state is abnormal if the packet loss or delay state does not affect the quality of the video data.
