In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention more apparent, the embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail below with reference to the embodiments and the accompanying drawings. The exemplary embodiments and descriptions of the present invention are provided to explain the present invention, but not to limit the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention provides a message prompting method and a message prompting device thereof. The embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Example one
The embodiment of the invention provides a message prompting device. As shown in fig. 1, the message presentation apparatus includes a detection unit 106, an alert tone playing unit 107, and a central control unit 103;
a detection unit 106 that detects the content length or the size of the occupied space of the received message under the control of the central control unit 103 and transmits the detection result to the central control unit 103; a central control unit 103, configured to receive a message arrival signal transmitted by a baseband unit of the mobile terminal, control the detection unit 106 to perform detection, determine the type of the message according to a detection result and a preset determination scale, that is, a length range value or an occupied space range value, acquire a warning tone corresponding to the type of the message according to the type of the message, and transmit the warning tone to a warning tone playing unit 107; an alert tone playing unit 107, under the control of the central control unit 103, plays the alert tone.
In this embodiment, the judgment scale and the corresponding prompt tone may adopt default values.
In addition, the judgment scale and the corresponding prompt tone can be set according to the requirements of users.
Thus, the apparatus may further comprise: and a judgment scale setting unit 104, connected to the central control unit 103, for setting a length range value or an occupied space size range value of the message to determine the type of the message, and storing the length range value or the occupied space size range value.
In addition, the device further comprises an alert tone setting unit 105 connected to the central control unit 103 for setting an alert tone corresponding to the above length range value or the occupied space size range value.
The central control unit 103 is responsible for detecting a short message arrival signal from a mobile phone baseband chip and coordinating the work of the judgment scale setting unit 104, the prompt tone setting unit 105, the detection unit 106 and the prompt tone playing unit 107; wherein,
the central control unit 103 is configured to receive a message arrival signal transmitted by the baseband unit 102 of the mobile terminal, control the detection unit 106 to perform detection, determine the type of the message according to the detection result and the length range value or the occupied space size range value set by the determination scale setting unit 104, acquire a warning tone corresponding to the type of the message and set by the warning tone setting unit 105 according to the type of the message, and transmit the warning tone to the warning tone playing unit 107.
The alert tone may be a ring tone, and the message types may be distinguished by different ring tones, but is not limited thereto. In addition, if the user sets the scenario to ring and vibration, the user can also distinguish the type of message in such scenario; of course, the prompt sound can also adopt vibration; wherein the type of message can be distinguished by adjusting the frequency and rhythm of the vibration.
The volume of the vibration or the bell may be controlled by the volume set in the profile set by the user.
The message prompting device can be used in any terminal equipment capable of receiving short messages, multimedia messages and e-mails.
As shown in fig. 1, when the apparatus is applied to a mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal further includes an antenna, a radio frequency unit 101, a baseband unit 102, an LCD display 109 and an audio unit 108, and the functions thereof are similar to those of the prior art and are not described herein again.
When the message presentation apparatus is applied to a mobile communication terminal, the alert tone playing unit 107 of the message presentation apparatus and the audio unit 108 of the mobile communication terminal may be separately provided, as shown in the drawing. However, when the alert tone is a ring tone, the alert tone playing unit 107 of the message alert device may employ the audio unit 108 of the mobile communication terminal.
By the embodiment, when the mobile communication terminal receives the message, different prompt tones are adopted to prompt the length or the occupied space of the received short message, multimedia message or electronic mail and the like, so that the mobile terminal user can obtain the length or the occupied space before viewing the short message, multimedia message or electronic mail, and great convenience is brought to the mobile terminal user.
In the above embodiment, the message may be a short message, a multimedia message, or an email.
The terminal adopting the message prompting device can be a mobile communication terminal, and can also be any other mobile terminal capable of receiving short messages, multimedia messages and e-mails.
In the above embodiment, the judgment scale may be a message length or a occupied space size range value. If the length range value is used for prompting, the judgment scale setting unit 104 can divide the length or the occupied space of the short message, the multimedia message or the e-mail into a plurality of types, for example, the short message can be divided into three range values of short message, medium short message and long short message, and the three types of the short message can be determined according to the three range values. But not limited thereto, for example, the short messages, the long messages, and the long messages can be classified. In addition, when the occupied space is taken as the judgment scale, the setting mode is similar to that when the length is taken as the judgment scale, and the description is omitted here.
In the following second to fourth embodiments, the mobile communication terminal and the working process thereof according to the embodiments of the present invention are described in detail by taking the receiving of the short message, the multimedia message, and the e-mail as examples.
Example two
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a mobile terminal with a message prompt apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. The embodiment divides the short message into three range values of short message, medium short message and long short message, and determines three types of the short message according to the three range values. But not limited to this, a plurality of range values, such as short message, medium message, long message, etc., can be set according to the user's needs.
Thus, the function of the device in which the rule setting unit is the short message length setting unit 204 and the detection unit is the short message detection unit 206 is shown in the first embodiment and will not be described herein.
In this embodiment, the user can arbitrarily set the three range values of the three short messages.
In the embodiment, the short message is a short message with 20 characters or less than 10 Chinese characters by default; the medium-length short message refers to a short message with 20 characters or more than 10 Chinese characters, 100 characters or less than 50 Chinese characters; the long short message refers to 100 characters or more than 50 Chinese characters, and 140 characters or less than 70 Chinese characters, but is not limited thereto.
In addition, the three range values of the three short messages can be modified and stored by the short message length setting unit 204.
In addition, the functions of the antenna, the rf unit 201, the baseband unit 202, the LCD display 209 and the audio unit 208 of the mobile communication terminal shown in fig. 2 are similar to those of the prior art and are not repeated here.
The following describes an operation method of a mobile communication terminal having a message presentation device according to a second embodiment. As shown in fig. 2, the central control unit 203 receives the signal transmitted by the baseband unit 202 to know the arrival of the short message; then the central control unit 203 starts the short message detection unit 206, the short message detection unit 206 detects the length of the arriving short message, and judges the type of the short message according to the length range value of the short message length setting unit 204, namely whether the short message is a short message, a medium message or a long message, and returns the detection result to the central control unit 203; the central control unit 203 starts the alert tone playing unit 207 to play the alert tone corresponding to the type of the short message according to the type of the short message detected by the short message detection unit 206 and the alert tone of the short message of the type set by the alert tone setting unit 205.
EXAMPLE III
Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a mobile terminal with a message prompt apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. The embodiment is used for explaining the condition when the multimedia message is received.
In this embodiment, if the multimedia message is divided into length range values according to the lengths of the characters in the multimedia message, the second embodiment can be completely adopted. In this way, the judgment scale setting unit in the device is a multimedia message length setting unit, and the detection unit is a multimedia message detection unit, and the functions thereof are as shown in the first and second embodiments, and are not described herein again.
However, since the multimedia message may contain text information, as well as picture, sound, and video information, the size of the space occupied by the multimedia message, i.e., the size, may also be used as the judgment scale. In this embodiment, the size of the multimedia message refers to the sum of the size of the space occupied by the text information in the multimedia message and the size of the space occupied by the media objects such as pictures, sounds, videos, and the like.
In this embodiment, if the ruler is determined to occupy a large space, the ruler setting unit in the apparatus is the multimedia message size setting unit 304, and the detection unit is the multimedia message detection unit 306.
In addition, as shown in fig. 3, the message prompt apparatus may further include a multimedia message downloading unit 310, which downloads and stores the multimedia message received by the central control unit 303 from the baseband unit 302 in the mobile communication terminal.
In this embodiment, the multimedia message may be divided into a small size multimedia message, a medium size multimedia message, and a large size multimedia message, but is not limited thereto. And the three range values of the three multimedia messages can be modified and stored by the multimedia message size setting unit 304.
In addition, the functions of the antenna, the rf unit 301, the baseband unit 302, the LCD display 309 and the audio unit 308 of the mobile communication terminal shown in fig. 3 are similar to those of the prior art and are not described again here.
The following describes an operation method of a mobile communication terminal having a message presentation device according to a third embodiment. As shown in fig. 3, the central control unit 303 receives the signal transmitted by the baseband unit 302 to know that the multimedia message arrives; then the central control unit 303 starts the multimedia message detection unit 306, the multimedia message detection unit 306 detects the size of the arriving multimedia message, and judges the type of the multimedia message according to the size range value of the multimedia message size setting unit 304, that is, the multimedia message is a small size multimedia message, a medium size multimedia message and a large size multimedia message, and returns the detection result to the central control unit 303; the central control unit 303 starts the prompt tone playing unit 307 to play the prompt tone corresponding to the type of the short message according to the type of the short message detected by the multimedia message detecting unit 306 and the prompt tone of the type of the short message set by the prompt tone setting unit 305.
Example four
Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a mobile terminal with a message prompt apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment is used to explain the case when an Email is received.
In this embodiment, if the Email is divided into length range values according to the length of the characters in the Email, the implementation can be completely realized by the second embodiment. Thus, the judgment scale setting unit in the device is an Email length setting unit, and the detection unit is an Email detection unit, which has the functions as shown in the first embodiment and is not described herein again.
However, since the Email may contain text information and attached information such as documents, pictures, sounds, and videos, the size of the space occupied by the Email, that is, the size, may be used as the judgment scale. In this embodiment, the size of the Email refers to a sum of a space occupied by the text information in the Email and a space occupied by the attached objects such as pictures, sounds, videos, and the like included in the Email.
In this embodiment, if the ruler is determined to occupy a large space, the device has a rule setting unit of email setting 404 and a rule detecting unit of email detecting 406, which are similar to the embodiments and will not be described herein again.
In addition, as shown in fig. 4, the message prompting device may further include an Email downloading unit 410, which downloads and stores the multimedia message received by the central control unit 403 from the baseband unit 402 on the mobile communication terminal.
In the present embodiment, the email may be divided into a small size email, a medium size email, and a large size email, but is not limited thereto. And the three range values of the above three emails may also be modified and saved by the email size setting unit 404.
In addition, the functions of the antenna, the rf unit 401, the baseband unit 402, the LCD display 409 and the audio unit 408 of the mobile communication terminal shown in fig. 4 are similar to those of the prior art and are not repeated here.
The following describes an operation method of a mobile communication terminal having a message presentation device according to a third embodiment. As shown in fig. 4, the central control unit 403 receives the signal transmitted from the baseband unit 4302, and knows that the e-mail arrives; then the central control unit 403 starts the email detection unit 406, the email detection unit 406 detects the size of the arriving email, and determines the email type according to the size range value of the email size setting unit 404, that is, the email is a small size email, a medium size email, and a large size email, and returns the detection result to the central control unit 403; the central control unit 403 starts the alert tone playing unit 407 to play the alert tone corresponding to the type according to the type of the email detected by the email detecting unit 406 and the alert tone of the type of the short message set by the alert tone setting unit 405.

The embodiment of the invention also provides a message prompting method. The following description will be made in detail with reference to the above embodiments and fig. 5 to 7.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a message prompting method, when the mobile terminal receives the message, the method comprises the following steps: detecting the length or the occupied space size of the received message; judging the length range or the occupied space range of the message according to a preset or default judgment scale so as to determine the type of the message; acquiring preset or default prompt tones corresponding to the type according to the judgment result; and playing the prompt tone.
By the method, different prompt tones are adopted to prompt the length or the occupied space of the received short message, multimedia message or electronic mail and the like, so that a mobile terminal user can know the length or the occupied space before viewing the short message, the multimedia message or the electronic mail, and great convenience is brought to the mobile terminal user.
In this embodiment, the message is a short message, a multimedia message, or an email, but is not limited thereto.
The judgment scale is a length range value or an occupied space size range value, but is not limited thereto.
Taking the example that the user does not adopt default values, but sets the judgment scale and the prompt tone according to needs, the embodiment of the invention will be described in detail with reference to the first to fourth embodiments and fig. 5 to 7.
As shown in fig. 5 to 7, short messages, i.e., short, medium, and long messages, are taken as an example for explanation.
As shown in fig. 5, a setting flowchart when the user sets the judgment scale. As shown, the method comprises the following steps: selecting the type of the short message to be set (see step 501); inputting a length range value of a message by a judgment scale setting unit (see step 502); determining whether to store the length range value, and if the length range value is determined to be stored, modifying the default length range value of the short message into the set length range value (see steps 503 and 504); finally, the length range value is saved in the mobile communication terminal (see step 505).
If the determination result in step 503 is negative, the process ends.
As shown in fig. 6, a setting flowchart when the user sets an alert tone. As shown, the method comprises the following steps: selecting the type of the short message to be set, namely short, medium and long short messages (see step 601); setting corresponding prompt tones according to the types through a prompt tone setting unit (see step 602); determining whether to save the setting, and if the determination result is save, saving the setting (see steps 603 and 604); if the judgment result is not yes, the operation is finished.
As shown in fig. 7, when the user sets the judgment scale and the prompt tone, the mobile communication terminal of the user receives a short message as an example for explanation. The message prompting method comprises the following steps:
the mobile communication terminal receives the short message (see step 701);
detecting the length or the occupied space size of the received short message (see step 702);
judging the length range or the occupied space range of the short message according to a preset judgment scale so as to determine whether the type of the short message is a short message, a medium message or a long message (see step 703);
acquiring a preset prompt tone corresponding to the type according to the judgment result (see step 704);
the alert tone is played with the volume level in the profile (see step 705).
In addition, if the occupied space is taken as the judgment scale, the process of setting the judgment scale and the process of setting the prompt tone are similar to the short message, and the description is omitted here.
As can be seen from fig. 3 and 4, when the message is a multimedia message or an email, and when the mobile communication terminal receives the multimedia message or the email, the method further includes the following steps: and downloading the multimedia message or the E-mail from the multimedia message center server or the server on the gateway and storing the multimedia message or the E-mail in the mobile communication terminal.
In the above embodiment, if the default value and the default alert tone are used, the setup process of fig. 5 and 6 may be omitted.
Therefore, by the embodiment of the invention, the length or the occupied space of the short message, the multimedia message or the e-mail can be changed before the mobile terminal user checks the short message, the multimedia message or the e-mail, thereby bringing great convenience to the mobile terminal user.
