With reference now to Fig. 9,, shows the level cross-sectionn figure of hand-held vacuum cleaner 100.In Fig. 9, can clearly observe suction nozzle 112, brush roll 162,, housing 110, inhale fan and motor sub-assembly 118, dirt cup 116, dust suction cup door 134 and filter assemblies 128.In addition, a part of air flow path in dirt cup 116 spiral-flow type split cavity inside is illustrated.(the annular movement shown in the solid line arrow) around filter box 144.Dotted arrow indication air-flow flows to from filter box 114 inhales fan and motor sub-assembly 118 and exhaust port 131 outflows by housing 110 1 sides.
With reference now to Figure 10,, shows the vertical cross-section of the amplification of dirt cup 116 and filter assemblies 128.The filter 144 that comprises substrate 152, filter medium 154 and strainer cover 156 also is illustrated. The handle portion 152c of the substrate 152 of filter box 144 is illustrated too.As previously described, filter box 144 and filter 142 are by segmented flange 151 rotatable combinations. The pulling-on piece 152b of axle collar 152a engages and produces a pressure fitted between substrate 152 and segmented flange 151.
Continuation is with reference to Figure 10, and air-flow 164 flows through visceral-qi outlet 132 from the fluid passage, through dirty air inlet 148, shown in mark A.Air-flow guides once more by cyclonic air flow deflector 150 then, to produce a spiral-flow type air-flow B.Around filter box 144 spirals, heavier-than-air by this detrital deposit is in dirt cup 116 then for air-flow C.Air-flow D continues across filter medium 154 then, passes axle collar 152a, fans import 130 through inhaling, and enters in suction fan and the motor sub-assembly 118.Same shown in Figure 10 is the cross section of the amplification of door bolt 140, hasp 138, hinge 136 and dirt cup door gasket seal 160.Door bolt 140 comprises a button Face 166, and the user opens dirt cup door 134 by pressing the button the surface.Pressing door bolt 140 can make an end of door bolt upwards pivot.Pivot along with this end of fastening with a bolt or latch makes progress, hasp 138 breaks away from, and allows dirt cup door 134 to center on hinge 136 pivots and enters open position.
During hand-held vacuum cleaner 100, visceral-qi is inhaled into dirt cup in operation, wherein visceral-qi be subjected to like that as previously described cyclone dust from.Along with increasing chip is collected in the dirt cup, the air-flow that passes vacuum cleaner 100 can reduce. This causes producing a small amount of suction at the suction nozzle place. In order to make air-flow return to initial level, the user of hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 need empty dirt cup. There are many kinds of modes can empty dirt cup.A kind of method that simply empties dirt cup unloads dirt cup exactly in housing. This is by (from top view hand-held vacuum cleaner 100) in a clockwise direction rotation dirt cup and be pulled outwardly and break away from slits 122 (Fig. 3,4) up to projection 120 and finish. In case dirt cup is removed, by being pulled through the handle portion 152c of filter box lightly, filter assemblies also can be removed.Along with being removed of filter assemblies, by topple over the dirt cup of opening in suitable dustbin, dirt cup can be cleared. At this point, the user also can select to replace filter box with the filter box of new cleaning, or the medium in the simple cleaning box.
The technology that another one empties dirt cup relates to the use dirt cup door.In this case, dirt cup needn't unload from housing.Do not need filter and part from dirt cup, to unload out yet.In fact, 100 need of hand-held vacuum cleaner vertically tilt dirt cup door, and dirt cup door is pointed to downward direction when the user presses door bolt.Pressing door bolt has discharged hasp and has allowed dirt cup door to open.Rock or knock lightly dirt cup door and help the chip in the dirt cup is taken out, allow dust and chip to fall in the suitable dustbin through dirt cup door.As discussed previously, the user also can be chosen in dirt cup and clear up or change filter box after being removed. In fact, it is noted that filter box can unload from dirt cup (and need not earlier dirt cup be shifted out) by entering dirt cup door and filter box being separated with filter in housing.Yet, as shown, to such an extent as to filter box of the present invention can not pass dirt cup door too greatly completely. However, the size that can consider or reduce filter box of the present invention is adapting with dirt cup door, or the dirt cup door opening makes it to adapt with filter box.
And, for convenience filter box is unloaded from filter, should consider and the handle on the filter box is made other shape and be placed on other positions of filter box.For example: filter box can utilize filter frame that filter base 152 is fastened on (Fig. 5) on the end cap 156.Therefore allowing that end cap is used as handle surfaces uses.Similarly, handle portion can form on the excircle of substrate. In addition, filter can be fixed to housing or integrally formed with housing, but not is fastened in the dirt cup by frictional fit.
Should be noted that common cooperation of a plurality of pads that are arranged in the hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 to be used for preventing that unfiltered during operation visceral-qi from flowing to into suction fan and motor sub-assembly, and prevent that also air all around from entering in the dirt cup from the edge of dirt cup door.Visceral-qi outlet pad, filter pad and filter box substrate pad stop dirt cup 116 interior unfiltered visceral-qi directly to enter suction fan and motor sub-assembly 118 inside. This leakage naturally surpasses certain hour, will cause that a large amount of dirt accumulation are in suction fan and motor sub-assembly inside. These gather can cause the overheated or axle journal of motor and or roller bearing be damaged in advance. The dirt cup door pad that is arranged on the dirt cup door periphery is used for stoping ambient air to enter into dirt cup when operation hand-held vacuum cleaner 100, and stops tiny chip to be fled from when dust catcher is not worked. This natural air leak does not have injurious effects to inhaling fan and motor sub-assembly, yet it can reduce the whole gettering ability of hand-held vacuum cleaner 100.Because the pressure that produces between hasp and the hinge, the dirt cup door pad is pressed, and therefore, provides near the aeroseal the dirt cup opening.Because this pressure that produces between hasp and door bolt has stoped dirt cup door to be opened unexpectedly in use.Extra door bolt pressure can produce by the spring of placing a compression below the button Face of door bolt, so that produce bigger downward pressure at the tip of door bolt.
Hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 can be started by various energy resources.A kind of energy is the household electricity (as Unite States Standard) or the 220-240 volt (European popular standard) of the 110-120 volt that provided by electric wire 170, as shown in Figure 1.As selection, hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 can be operated by the DC power supply by settling a suitable DC motor.A DC power supply comprises one 12 volts power supply, for example, and by rechargeable or battery pack movably, perhaps even by cigar lighter on automobile or other vehicles or power supply output. So can make hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 have portable advantage. At last, should be noted that hand-held vacuum cleaner 100 does not need to comprise foregoing brush roll. Also can have brush roll as selecting, suction nozzle can be flat, smooth or only comprise along the fasten bristles of nozzle openings setting and help stir and chip is turned in the suction nozzle.
