Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for sending radio resource control messages in a communication system, which mainly comprises procedures that the priority information of an RRC (radio resource control) message is determined in the communication system firstly, and then, a high-priority RRC message takes priority of being sent in a DCCH (dedicated control channel) according to the priority information. The realization of the method for sending radio resource control messages in a communication system causes RRC layer messages in radio communication systems, such as a WCDMA (wideband code division multiple access), etc. can carry out sending processing by priorities, a high-priority RRC layer message takes priority of carrying out the sending processing, and a low-priority RRC layer message carries out the sending processing after the sending processing of the high-priority RRC layer message is satisfied. Thus, the method for sending radio resource control messages in a communication system can aim at the RRC layer messages to carry out the sending processing by priorities so that high-priority messages can be guaranteed to be sent in time, and the timeliness and the reliability of the communication of radio communication systems are enhanced effectively.

Description

Method for transmitting radio resource control message in communication system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of network communication technologies, and in particular, to a method for sending an RRC (radio resource control) message in a communication system.
Background
In the existing 3GPP (third generation partnership project) protocol, there are four DCCHs (dedicated control channels) carrying RRC messages, which are numbered as 1, 2, 3 and 4 as shown in fig. 1, and the four channels are RLC1(RLC, radio link control), RLC2, RLC3 and RLC4, respectively. In the control plane, the service provided by the RLC to the upper layer is SRB (signaling radio bearer), i.e., SRB1, SRB2, SRB3, and SRB4 are provided, respectively.
The four DCCHs carry RRC messages according to the following criteria:
SRB1 is used for all messages sent on DCCH and RLC-UM (radio link control in unacknowledged mode);
SRB2 is used for all messages sent on DCCH and RLC-AM (radio link control in acknowledged mode) except direct transfer messages, including transport RRC layer messages, abbreviated RRC messages;
SRB3 is used for transmitting high priority direct transfer message of high layer message, using DCCH and RLC-AM;
SRB4 is optional, low priority direct transfer messages for higher layer messages, using DCCH and RLC-AM; the RRC knows its priority from the name of the higher layer message, e.g. the name of the message is SMS (short message), which is a low priority message.
The RRC layer is divided into high priority and low priority for processing when transmitting higher layer messages, but such processing mechanism is lacking in transmitting RRC layer messages. Some of the RRC messages are used for establishing radio bearers and belong to high priority messages, and some of the RRC messages belong to low priority messages, such as measurement control messages and some measurement report messages, and the mixed transmission of the two messages is likely to result in the non-timely transmission of the high priority messages.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a method for sending radio resource control messages in a communication system, so that messages with high priority in RRC layer messages can be sent in time in priority, and the transmission performance of the communication system is improved.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
the invention provides a method for sending a radio resource control message in a communication system, which comprises the following steps:
A. determining priority information of a radio resource control, RRC, message in a communication system;
B. and preferentially sending the RRC message with high priority according to the priority information.
The step A comprises the following steps:
in a wideband code division multiple access, WCDMA, system, high priority RRC messages and low priority RRC messages are determined.
The high priority message comprises:
RRC message in the configuration and reconfiguration process of the radio bearer.
The step B comprises the following steps:
and preferentially sending the RRC message with high priority in a dedicated control channel DCCH according to the priority information.
The step B comprises the following steps:
b1, adding a Radio Link Control (RLC) entity in the DCCH, and providing a Signaling Radio Bearer (SRB) for transmitting the RRC message on the RLC entity;
b2, the RRC layer transmits RRC messages with high priority and low priority respectively through the added RLC entities and the SRB provided by the original RLC entity for transmitting the RRC messages; alternatively, the SRB provided by the RLC entity transmitting the RRC message originally is configured to have a higher priority than the SRB provided by the newly added RLC entity and used for transmitting the RRC message of high priority.
And the newly added signaling radio bearer adopts an acknowledgement mode of radio link control to transmit RRC messages.
The step B comprises the following steps:
providing an RLC entity used for transmitting RRC messages in a DCCH with RRC messages with priority information, and transmitting the RRC messages with high priority by the RLC entity according to the priority information of the RRC messages to be transmitted;
or,
adding message priority indication information between an RRC layer and an RLC entity for transmitting RRC messages, and providing the priority information of each RRC message to the RLC entity through the indication information.
The step B comprises the following steps:
and the RRC layer preferentially submits the RRC message with high priority to the RLC entity for transmitting the RRC message according to the priority of the RRC message to be transmitted, and the RLC entity transmits the received RRC message in sequence.
The technical scheme provided by the invention can be seen that the invention can realize that the RRC layer messages in the wireless communication systems such as WCDMA can be sent and processed according to the priority, the RRC layer messages with high priority are sent and processed preferentially, and the RRC layer messages with low priority are sent and processed after meeting the sending and processing requirements of the RRC layer messages with high priority. Therefore, the invention can carry out priority-distinguishing sending processing aiming at the RRC layer message, thereby ensuring that the message with high priority can be sent in time and effectively improving the timeliness and the reliability of the communication of the wireless communication system.
Drawings
Fig. 1 is a diagram illustrating a DCCH structure in the prior art;
fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a DCCH provided in the present invention.
Detailed Description
The core of the invention is to perform prioritization on the transmission of RRC layer messages.
The invention mainly adopts the following implementation modes in the implementation process:
(1) an RLC entity is added on the basis of the existing DCCH structure, and a new SRB for transmitting the RRC message is provided on the RLC entity, so that the RLC entity and the original SRB for transmitting the RRC message are matched with each other, and the RRC message can be distinguished from different priorities during transmission;
(2) the RRC indicates the priority of each RRC message to be transmitted to the RLC2 for transmitting the RRC message, and the RLC2 preferentially transmits a high-priority RRC message to a MAC (medium access control) layer;
(3) when the RRC layer has a plurality of messages to be transmitted that need to be submitted to the RLC2 at the same time, the RRC layer submits a high-priority RRC message to the RLC2 first to ensure that the high-priority RRC message is transmitted by the RLC2 in priority.
For a further understanding of the present invention, several implementations of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The first specific implementation scheme provided by the invention is as follows:
the RLC5 entity is added on the basis of the prior art and the signaling radio bearer SRB5 for transmitting RRC messages is provided on the RLC5 entity, as shown in fig. 2, for transmitting RRC messages of low priority, using DCCH and RLC-AM. The original SRB2 is used to transmit high priority RRC messages, using DCCH and RLC-AM, and vice versa.
When configuring the SRB, the priority of the SRB2 is configured to be higher than the priority of the SRB 5. The high priority RRC messages related to the radio channel configuration procedure are transmitted on the SRB2 using AM (acknowledged mode) RRC messages, and other AM mode low priority RRC messages are transmitted on the SRB 5. For example, messages related to physical channel reconfiguration, transport channel reconfiguration, and radio bearer reconfiguration need to be transmitted on SRB2, so as to ensure the priority of transmission thereof and improve network communication performance; for measurement, position location related messages may then be transmitted on SRB5 so that it is avoided that such low priority RRC messages affect the transmission of high priority RRC messages.
Of course, the high-priority RRC message and the low-priority RRC message may include other messages, or the high-priority RRC message and the low-priority RRC message determined by using other prioritization methods.
The second specific implementation scheme provided by the invention is as follows:
adding message priority indication information between an RRC layer and an RLC entity for transmitting RRC messages, and providing the priority information of each RRC message to the RLC entity through the indication information. When the RRC layer sends an RRC message to the RLC2 entity, the priority of each RRC message that the RRC layer needs to send is indicated, which may specifically include two priorities, i.e., a high priority and a low priority, or may include more priorities.
The method specifically comprises the following steps: when the RLC2 entity sends a data block to the MAC layer, it first determines the data block corresponding to the high-priority RRC message in each RRC message, then preferentially sends the data block corresponding to the high-priority RRC message to the MAC layer, and after the high-priority data block is sent, sends the data block corresponding to the low-priority RRC message. In this way, it is ensured that the high priority RRC message can be reliably transmitted without being affected by sending the low priority RRC message.
For example, messages related to physical channel reconfiguration, transport channel reconfiguration and radio bearer reconfiguration can be set to be high priority, and when the RRC messages need to be transmitted, the RRC provides priority information of the messages to the RLC2 entity and the RLC2 entity transmits the priority information preferentially; whereas for measurement, position location related messages may be set to low priority, the RRC message is sent after the RLC2 entity sends a complete high priority RRC message.
The third specific implementation scheme provided by the invention is as follows:
when multiple RRC messages to be sent need to be submitted to the RLC2 entity at the same time for transmission, the RRC delivers the RRC message with the higher priority to the RLC2 entity according to the priority of each RRC message, where the priority may also specifically include two priorities, i.e., a higher priority and a lower priority, or more priorities. At this time, the RLC2 entity only needs to perform transmission processing in the order of the received RRC messages to ensure that the RRC message with high priority is transmitted preferentially, and the RRC message with low priority is sent after the RRCX message with high priority.
For example, for messages related to physical channel reconfiguration, transport channel reconfiguration and radio bearer reconfiguration, setting the messages to a high priority, and the RRC layer may preferentially submit the RRC messages to the RLC2 entity; the messages related to measurement and position location are set as low priority, and after the RRC layer finishes submitting the high priority RRC message, the low priority RRC message is submitted to the RLC2 entity, thereby realizing the transmission of the RRC message with different priorities in the WCDMA system.
In summary, the invention can distinguish the RRC messages with different priorities to ensure the timely transmission of the RRC messages with high priority, thereby effectively improving the communication reliability of the wireless communication system.
The above description is only for the preferred embodiment of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any changes or substitutions that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art within the technical scope of the present invention are included in the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
