All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As used in this application, the terms "module," "device," and the like are intended to encompass a computer-related entity, such as but not limited to hardware, firmware, a combination of hardware and software, or software in execution. For example, a module may be, but is not limited to: a process running on a processor, an object, an executable, a thread of execution, a program, and/or a computer. For example, an application running on a computing device and the computing device may both be a module. One or more modules may reside within a process and/or thread of execution and a module may be localized on one computer and/or distributed between two or more computers.
The technical scheme of the invention is explained in detail in the following with the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, an exemplary flowchart of a cell switching method based on uplink channel quality according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown.
As shown in fig. 1, the method for cell handover based on uplink channel quality according to the embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:
s110: and after monitoring that the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is lower than a preset starting measurement threshold, sending a starting measurement instruction to the UE so as to enable the UE to start the pilot frequency measurement.
The cell switching based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention can be suitable for a TDD-LTE (time division duplex-long term evolution) mixed networking mode with different frequency bands and different frequency points.
Because the existing network mainly uses the RSRP of the downlink reference signal or the RSRQ of the downlink reference signal as a threshold for cell switching, and neglects consideration on uplink coverage limitation and interference scenarios, the source cell of the UE needs to monitor the uplink RSRP or RSRQ for cell switching based on the downlink channel quality, and also needs to monitor the uplink channel quality for cell switching based on the uplink channel quality.
In the embodiment of the invention, the UE to be optimized in the source cell can be identified. Specifically, after the source cell of the UE monitors that the uplink channel quality of the UE is lower than a preset starting measurement threshold, the UE may be used as the UE to be optimized. In order to improve the uplink perception of users in a cell, it is necessary to switch the UE to be optimized to a neighboring cell whose uplink channel quality is higher than that of the source cell.
Wherein the start measurement threshold is preset by a person skilled in the art. In practical application, an a5 event threshold value based on uplink channel quality dedicated RSRP may be added on the basis of the existing network as a start measurement threshold.
In order to find out a neighboring cell with an uplink channel quality higher than that of the source cell, in the embodiment of the present invention, the source cell of the UE may first send a measurement starting instruction to the UE, so that the UE starts inter-frequency measurement to measure the neighboring inter-frequency cell.
In practical application, the UE may start the inter-frequency measurement according to the received measurement starting instruction, and report the generated measurement report to the source cell of the UE. The measurement report includes RSRP of each neighboring cell.
S120: receiving RSRP of each adjacent cell reported after UE starts pilot frequency measurement, and selecting the adjacent cell with the RSRP higher than a preset receiving power threshold as a candidate handover cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the source cell of the UE receives the measurement report reported by the UE after the pilot frequency measurement is started, the RSRP of each neighboring cell may be extracted from the measurement report.
In order to ensure that the cell to which the UE is finally switched can provide good uplink sensing for the UE and also provide good downlink sensing, a neighboring cell whose RSRP is higher than a preset received power threshold may be selected from the neighboring cells as a candidate handover cell according to the RSRP of the neighboring cells.
S130: and sending a switching request carrying the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a preset cell switching threshold to the candidate switching cell, so that the candidate switching cell returns a switching response carrying a switching permission notice after determining that the difference value between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate switching cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is greater than the cell switching threshold.
In this embodiment of the present invention, after selecting, in step S120, a neighboring cell whose RSRP is higher than a preset received power threshold as a candidate handover cell, a source cell of the UE may send a handover request to the candidate handover cell.
The switching request carries the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a preset cell switching threshold. In practical application, the handover request further includes an identity of the UE.
The cell switching threshold is set by a person skilled in the art according to experience, and is greater than or equal to 0. Thus, after the candidate handover cell receives the handover request, the candidate handover cell may extract the identity, the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell, and the cell handover threshold from the handover request, obtain the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell corresponding to the identity, and calculate a difference between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell and the extracted uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell.
If the calculated difference is less than or equal to the extracted cell switching threshold, a switching response carrying a non-allowed switching notification can be returned to the source cell of the UE; if the calculated difference is greater than the extracted cell switching threshold, a switching response carrying a notification of allowing switching can be returned to the source cell of the UE.
S140: and determining the candidate switching cell returning the switching response carrying the permission switching notice as a target switching cell, and completing cell switching from the source cell to the target switching cell together with the UE and the target switching cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the source cell of the UE receives the switching response returned by the candidate switching cell. The switching response carries the switching permission notice, which indicates that the RSRP of the candidate switching cell is higher than the preset receiving power threshold, and the quality of the uplink channel of the UE in the candidate switching cell is higher than the quality of the uplink channel of the UE in the source cell by a certain threshold value, namely the candidate switching cell can provide good uplink and downlink channels for the UE, and the UE is guaranteed to have good uplink and downlink perception.
Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, after the source cell of the UE receives the handover response returned by the candidate handover cell, if the handover response carries the notification of allowing handover, it may be determined that the candidate handover cell is the target handover cell.
Then, the source cell of the UE completes cell handover from the source cell to the target handover cell together with the UE and the target handover cell. In practical applications, after determining the target handover cell, the handover of the UE from the source cell to the target handover cell may be performed according to technical means commonly used by those skilled in the art, and will not be described in detail herein.
In the cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention, the uplink channel quality of the UE is monitored, the cell switching is triggered to be carried out under the condition that the uplink channel quality of a source cell is lower than a preset starting measurement threshold, and in the process of carrying out the cell switching, a neighboring cell of which the RSRP is higher than a preset receiving power threshold and the uplink channel quality is greater than a certain threshold value of the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is selected as a target switching cell, so that the uplink and downlink service quality of a user can be ensured, and the user perception is improved.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in the cell handover method based on uplink channel quality provided in another embodiment of the present invention, the handover request may also carry a preset starting measurement threshold.
Correspondingly, in the embodiment of the present invention, the handover request sent by the source cell of the UE to the candidate handover cell carries a preset start measurement threshold, so that the candidate handover cell returns a handover response carrying a notification of allowing handover to the source cell of the UE after determining that the difference between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is greater than the cell handover threshold, and the uplink channel quality of the candidate handover cell of the UE is greater than the preset start measurement threshold.
Other steps of the embodiment of the present invention are similar to those of the previous embodiment, and are not described again in the embodiment of the present invention.
According to the cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality, provided by the embodiment of the invention, the uplink channel quality of a subsequently determined target switching cell can be ensured to be higher than the preset starting measurement threshold through the switching request carrying the starting measurement threshold, so that the uplink service quality of a user is further ensured, and the user perception is improved.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in the cell handover method based on uplink channel quality according to another embodiment of the present invention, when there are a plurality of candidate handover cells whose RSRP is higher than the preset receive power threshold, the handover response carrying the permission handover notification also carries the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cells.
Correspondingly, under the condition that a plurality of candidate switching cells return switching responses carrying the permission switching notification, the candidate switching cell with the highest uplink channel quality is selected from the candidate switching cells returning the switching responses carrying the permission switching notification as the target switching cell.
Specifically, after receiving the switching response carrying the permission switching notification returned by the multiple candidate switching cells, the source cell of the UE may extract the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate switching cell from the switching response returned by the candidate switching cell; and sequencing the candidate switching cells according to the quality of the uplink channel, and determining the candidate switching cell with the highest quality of the uplink channel as a target switching cell.
Other steps of the embodiment of the present invention are similar to those of the previous embodiment, and are not described again in the embodiment of the present invention.
The cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention selects the candidate switching cell with the highest uplink channel quality from various candidate switching cells conforming to cell switching as the target switching cell, and can provide better uplink service for users.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in the cell switching method based on uplink channel quality provided in another embodiment of the present invention, the switching request further carries the location information of the UE, so that the candidate switching cell calculates the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate switching cell according to the location information of the UE.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the handover request sent by the source cell of the UE to the candidate handover cell may also carry location information of the UE, so that the candidate handover cell detects neighboring devices of the UE from the user equipment accessed by the candidate handover cell according to the location information of the UE, and uses uplink channel quality of the neighboring devices in the candidate handover cell as uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell. For example, according to the location information of the UE accessed by the candidate handover cell, the UE whose distance from the UE is smaller than the set threshold is found as the neighboring device of the UE.
Other steps of the embodiment of the present invention are similar to those of the previous embodiment, and are not described again in the embodiment of the present invention.
According to the cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality, provided by the embodiment of the invention, the candidate switching cell can conveniently acquire the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate switching cell by sending the switching request carrying the position information of the UE to the candidate switching cell.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in a cell handover method based on uplink channel quality provided in another embodiment of the present invention, the method further includes:
monitoring an average received power of a PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) Channel corresponding to the UE;
calculating the path loss from the UE to a source cell according to the average receiving power of the PUSCH corresponding to the UE and the uplink reference signal transmitting power of the UE;
and determining the quality of an uplink channel from the UE to the source cell according to the path loss from the UE to the source cell and the interference noise of the source cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the UE performs uplink service scheduling through the corresponding PUSCH channel, the source cell of the UE may monitor the received power of the PRB (Physical Resource Block) occupied by the PUSCH channel corresponding to the UE, and calculate the average received power of the PUSCH corresponding to the UE according to the received power of each PRB.
Then, a difference between the average received power of the PUSCH channel corresponding to the UE and the uplink reference signal transmit power of the UE may be calculated, and the calculated difference may be determined as a path loss from the UE to the source cell.
The uplink reference signal transmitting power of the UE is indicated to the UE by the source cell, and the UE transmits the uplink reference signal with the uplink reference signal transmitting power according to the indication of the source cell.
After the path loss from the UE to the source cell is calculated by the source cell of the UE, the uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell may be determined according to the path loss from the UE to the source cell and the interference noise of the source cell.
For example, a ratio of the path loss from the UE to the source cell to the interference noise of the source cell itself may be calculated, and the calculated ratio may be determined as the uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell. Or, the difference between the path loss from the UE to the source cell and the interference noise of the source cell itself may be calculated, and the ratio between the calculated difference and the interference noise of the source cell itself may be determined as the uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell. In practical applications, the uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell may also be determined by other algorithms, which are not enumerated here.
Other steps of the embodiment of the present invention are similar to those of the previous embodiment, and are not described again in the embodiment of the present invention.
The cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention determines the uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell according to the path loss from the UE to the source cell and the interference noise of the source cell, and can ensure the accuracy of the monitored uplink channel quality from the UE to the source cell.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in the cell handover method based on uplink channel quality according to still another embodiment of the present invention, the handover request further carries an RSRP of the candidate handover cell, so that the candidate handover cell calculates the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell according to the RSRP of the candidate handover cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the handover request sent by the source cell of the UE to the candidate handover cell may also carry RSRP of the candidate handover cell, so that the candidate handover cell calculates a path loss from the UE to the candidate handover cell according to the RSRP of the candidate handover cell and downlink reference signal transmission power of the candidate handover cell, and determines uplink channel quality from the UE to the candidate handover cell according to the path loss from the UE to the candidate handover cell and interference noise of the candidate handover cell itself.
Other steps of the embodiment of the present invention are similar to those of the previous embodiment, and are not described again in the embodiment of the present invention.
According to the cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality, the candidate switching cell can conveniently acquire the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate switching cell by sending the switching request carrying the RSRP of the candidate switching cell to the candidate switching cell.
Referring to fig. 2, there is shown an exemplary flowchart of a cell switching method based on uplink channel quality according to still another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2, the cell switching method based on uplink channel quality according to the embodiment of the present invention may include the following steps:
s210: receiving a switching request sent by a source cell of the UE, wherein the switching request carries the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a cell switching threshold preset by the source cell.
The cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention is suitable for the adjacent cell of the source cell of the UE.
In the embodiment of the invention, after monitoring that the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is lower than a preset starting measurement threshold, a source cell of the UE sends a starting measurement instruction to the UE so that the UE starts the pilot frequency measurement; receiving reference signal received power RSRP of each adjacent cell reported after UE starts pilot frequency measurement, selecting the adjacent cell with the RSRP higher than a preset received power threshold as a candidate switching cell, and sending a switching request carrying uplink channel quality of the UE in a source cell and a preset cell switching threshold to the candidate switching cell.
Correspondingly, in the embodiment of the present invention, the neighboring cell of the source cell of the UE may receive the handover request sent by the source cell of the UE; the switching request sent by the source cell of the UE carries the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a cell switching threshold preset in the source cell.
S220: and acquiring the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, after receiving a switching request sent by a source cell of UE, a neighboring cell can detect the neighboring equipment of the UE from user equipment accessed by the cell; and acquiring the uplink channel quality of the adjacent equipment in the cell, and taking the uplink channel quality as the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell.
Optionally, the handover request further carries RSRP of the local cell reported to the source cell by the UE.
Correspondingly, in the embodiment of the present invention, the neighboring cell may calculate the path loss from the UE to the cell according to the downlink reference signal transmission power of the cell and the RSRP of the cell; and determining the quality of the uplink channel from the UE to the cell according to the path loss from the UE to the cell and the interference noise of the cell.
S230: and if the difference value between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is greater than the cell switching threshold, returning a switching response carrying a switching permission notice to the source cell of the UE so that the source cell, the UE and the cell complete the cell switching from the source cell to the cell together after determining that the cell is the target switching cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the adjacent cell can calculate the difference value between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell; if the calculated difference is less than or equal to the extracted cell switching threshold, a switching response carrying a non-allowed switching notification can be returned to the source cell of the UE; if the calculated difference is greater than the extracted cell switching threshold, a switching response carrying a notification of allowing switching can be returned to the source cell of the UE.
Correspondingly, after the source cell of the UE receives the handover response returned by the neighboring cell, if the handover response carries the notification of allowing handover, it may be determined that the neighboring cell is the target handover cell. Then, the source cell of the UE completes cell handover from the source cell to the target handover cell together with the UE and the target handover cell.
The cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention can ensure the uplink and downlink service quality of the user and improve the user perception by selecting the adjacent cell with the uplink channel quality greater than the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell by a certain threshold value as the target switching cell and carrying out cell switching.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiments, another embodiment of the present invention provides a base station.
Referring to fig. 3, a schematic structural diagram of a base station according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown.

The handover monitoring unit 301 is configured to send a measurement starting instruction to the UE after monitoring that the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is lower than a preset measurement starting threshold, so that the UE starts inter-frequency measurement.
The target selecting unit 302 is configured to receive reference signal received power RSRP of each neighboring cell reported after the UE starts inter-frequency measurement, and select a neighboring cell with RSRP higher than a preset received power threshold as a candidate handover cell.
The handover request unit 303 is configured to send a handover request carrying the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a preset cell handover threshold to the candidate handover cell, so that the candidate handover cell returns a handover response carrying a notification of allowing handover after determining that a difference between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the candidate handover cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is greater than the cell handover threshold, where the cell handover threshold is greater than or equal to 0.

On the basis of the foregoing embodiments, another embodiment of the present invention provides another base station.
Referring to fig. 4, there is shown a schematic structural diagram of a base station according to still another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, a base station 400 provided in an embodiment of the present invention may include: handover request receiving section 401, uplink quality acquiring section 402, and cell switching section 403.
The handover request receiving unit 401 is configured to receive a handover request sent by a source cell of a UE, where the handover request carries uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell and a cell handover threshold preset in the source cell.
The uplink quality acquiring unit 402 is configured to acquire the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell.
The cell switching unit 403 is configured to return a switching response carrying a notification of allowing switching to a source cell of the UE after the difference between the uplink channel quality of the UE in the cell and the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell is greater than the cell switching threshold, so that the source cell, the UE and the cell complete cell switching from the source cell to the cell after determining that the cell is the target switching cell.

The base station provided by the embodiment of the invention can ensure the uplink and downlink service quality of a user and improve the user perception by monitoring the uplink channel quality of the UE, triggering the cell switching when the uplink channel quality of the UE in a source cell is lower than a preset starting measurement threshold, and selecting a neighboring cell as a target switching cell when the RSRP is higher than a preset receiving power threshold and the uplink channel quality is higher than the uplink channel quality of the UE in the source cell by a certain threshold value in the process of cell switching.
The embodiments of the base station provided in the present invention may be specifically configured to execute the processing flows of the above method embodiments, and the functions of the embodiments are not described herein again, and refer to the detailed description of the above method embodiments.
The cell switching method based on the uplink channel quality provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to the following two scenes:
scene one
In the TD-LTE network, because the transmission power of the UE in the current network is lower than that of the base station, and the UE is transmitted by a single antenna, the uplink and downlink coverage is unbalanced, that is, the coverage of the downlink base station is large, the coverage of the uplink UE is small, and the uplink of the UE is limited. As shown in fig. 5, when the UE is connected to the cell of the base station a and moves to the cell uplink coverage boundary of the base station a, the cell uplink quality of the base station a is poor, but the cell downlink quality of the base station a is still good, so that the conventional handover is not triggered. The UE continues to stay in the cell of the base station A, so that the quality of an uplink channel is poor, the service is influenced, the quality of the uplink channel of the cell of the pilot frequency base station B is better at the moment, the cell switching of the quality of the uplink channel is triggered, the UE is switched to the cell of the pilot frequency base station B with better quality of the uplink channel from the cell of the base station A, and the base station A and the base station B are located at different frequency points.
Scene two
As shown in fig. 6, the D-band base station is mainly used for continuous coverage to provide capacity absorption and traffic sharing in a hot spot area, and the F-band base station is mainly used for deep coverage and road blindness correction. A large number of base stations with the same site of the D frequency band and the F frequency band exist in the urban area, so that a large number of overlapped coverage areas exist in the D frequency band network and the F frequency band network. Compared with the D frequency band, the F frequency band is easier to be interfered, the quality of an uplink channel is worse due to the fact that a cell of the F frequency band interferes more seriously, the UE occupies the F frequency band, the service is poorer, the UE occupies the F frequency band but cannot meet the traditional switching threshold based on the quality of the downlink channel, the cell switching based on the quality of the uplink channel can be triggered, and the UE is switched to the cell of the D frequency band from the cell of the F frequency band.
