Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart diagram of a method 200 of wireless communication according to an embodiment of the present application. The method 200 may alternatively be applied to the system shown in fig. 1, but is not limited thereto. The method 200 includes at least some of the following.
S210, the terminal device receives configuration information sent by the network device, wherein the configuration information is used for indicating the duration of the timer.
Optionally, the system information request generated by the terminal device at the MAC layer is a system information request generated based on MSG1 in a random access procedure.
Such as a system information request generated by MSG1 in a contention-based random access procedure. As another example, a system information request generated based on MSG1 in a non-contention random access procedure.
Optionally, the duration of the timer is maintained at the MAC layer.
Specifically, the terminal device receives the configuration information sent by the network device through RRC dedicated signaling.
Alternatively, the Timer may be a Prohibit Timer (Prohibit Timer) that restricts the SI request.
S220, the terminal device generates a first system information request at the MAC layer, and starts the timer when sending the first system information request to the network device.
Alternatively, the terminal device may obtain the System Information requested by the first System Information request by reading a System Information Block (SIB).
For example, the terminal device may obtain the system information requested by the first system information request by reading SIB1, and SIB1 holds system information requested by other terminal devices that trigger the first system information request.
Optionally, the terminal device receives an RRC message sent by the network device to indicate the system information requested by the first system information request.
Optionally, the method 200 further comprises:
the terminal equipment generates a second system information request in the MAC layer within the time length of the timer, and reserves the second system information request in the MAC layer;
the terminal device sends the second system information request to the network device when the timer expires.
It should be understood that the expiration of the timer (expired) may also be understood as the expiration of the timer, and may also be understood as the failure of the timer, i.e., the timer has expired after the duration of the timer.
For example, as shown in fig. 3, when the terminal device generates an SI request (request)1 at the MAC layer at time 1 and sends the SI request 1 to the network device, a timer is started, and when the terminal device generates an SI request 2 at the RRC layer at time 2 (time 2 is within the duration range of the timer), the terminal device reserves the SI request 2 at the MAC layer, and the terminal device sends the SI request 2 to the network device when the timer expires.
Optionally, the method 200 further comprises:
the terminal equipment acquires the system information requested by the first system information request within the duration of the timer;
the terminal device stops the timer.
Optionally, the method 200 further comprises:
the terminal device starts the timer when the MAC layer generates a third system information request, where the third system information request is the first system information request generated by the terminal device after the timer is stopped.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, when the terminal device generates SI request 1 at the MAC layer at time 1 and sends SI request 1 to the network device, the terminal device starts a timer, and when the terminal device acquires the SI requested by SI request 1 at time 2 (time 2 is within the duration range of the timer), the terminal device stops the timer. The terminal device generates an SI request 3 (the first SI request generated by the terminal device after the timer has stopped) at the MAC layer at time 3, and then the terminal device starts the timer.
Optionally, the method 200 further comprises:
the terminal equipment generates a fourth system information request in the MAC layer within the time length of the timer, and reserves the fourth system information request in the MAC layer;
after generating the fourth system information request, the terminal device obtains the system information requested by the first system information request within the duration of the timer;
the terminal device stops the timer and deletes the fourth system information request.
Optionally, the method 200 further comprises:
the terminal device starts the timer when the MAC layer generates a fifth system information request, where the fifth system information request is the first system information request generated by the terminal device after the timer is stopped.
For example, as shown in fig. 5, when the terminal device generates SI request 1 at the MAC layer at time 1 and sends SI request 1 to the network device, a timer is started, the terminal device generates SI request 4 at the MAC layer at time 2 (time 2 is within the time length range of the timer), and retains SI request 4 at the MAC layer, and the terminal device acquires SI requested by SI request 1 at time 3 (time 3 is within the time length range of the timer), the terminal device stops the timer and deletes SI request 4 retained by the MAC layer. For another example, the terminal device generates the SI request 5 (the first SI request generated by the terminal device after the timer is stopped) at the MAC layer at time 4, and then the terminal device starts the timer.
Therefore, in the method for wireless communication according to the embodiment of the present application, the terminal device generates the first system information request at the MAC layer and starts the timer when transmitting the first system information request to the network device, so that the terminal device can control the transmission of the SI request of the MSG1 based on the random access procedure at the MAC layer based on the timer, thereby avoiding frequent scheduling of the SI request of the MSG1 based on the random access procedure at the MAC layer and avoiding congestion of the uplink random access channel.

the processing unit is further configured to acquire the system information requested by the first system information request within a duration of the timer;
the processing unit is further configured to stop the timer.
10. The terminal device of claim 9,
the processing unit is further configured to start the timer when the MAC layer generates a third system information request, where the third system information request is a first system information request generated by the terminal device after the timer is stopped.
11. The terminal device of claim 8,
the processing unit is further configured to start the timer when the MAC layer generates a fifth system information request, where the fifth system information request is a first system information request generated by the terminal device after the timer is stopped.
12. The terminal device according to any one of claims 9 to 11, wherein the processing unit is specifically configured to:
obtaining system information requested by the first system information request by reading a system information block, or
And receiving an RRC message sent by the network equipment and used for indicating the system information requested by the first system information request.
13. The terminal device of claim 9, wherein the duration of the timer is maintained at a MAC layer.
14. The terminal device of claim 13, wherein the communication unit is specifically configured to:
receiving the configuration information sent by the network device through RRC dedicated signaling.
