The hanging rings 40a, 40b, 40c, and 40d of the hanger part 3 constitute a connecting means for connecting the crane means, and the tubular members cross in plan view are arranged at equal intervals to form a square in plan view, and the band saw blade changing device 1A is difficult to swing when suspended by 4 ropes. The central portions of the band saw blade holding plate 20 on both left and right ends are pivotally supported by the shafts 51 and 52 on both ends of the frame 3B facing downward in the shape of a letter 3C in the hanger portion so that the center line in the longitudinal direction thereof can be rotated as a pivot shaft, and the motor 5 attached to the pivotal support as shown in fig. 2(B) enables 180-degree rotation operation. In addition to the electric servo motor, the motor 5 may be a hydraulic motor in consideration of use in water.

Next, the procedure of using the band saw blade changing device 1A according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 3 to 8. As shown in fig. 3, the band saw blade 7 to be replaced with the band saw blade replacing device 1A is mainly formed by mounting a band saw blade 100A on a driving wheel 71A and a driven wheel 71b disposed on the front surface side of a cutting head 71 supported by a support column 73 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction above a base 70, and the driving wheel 71A and the driven wheel 71b have a relatively simple configuration in which the front surface side is exposed. The blade twisting mechanism is disposed in the band saw blade 7, and supports the blade of the band saw blade in the cutting position while directing the blade downward.

In fig. 4, the band saw blade holding plate 20 is in a state of being close to the driving wheel 71a and the driven wheel 71b, and the short diameter of the inner peripheral side space of the plurality of electromagnets 21, 22, 23 disposed on the outer peripheral side of the back surface of the band saw blade holding plate 20, which is not shown, is slightly larger than the diameter of the driving wheel 71a, and therefore, the band saw blade holding plate 20 is housed in the left side portion of the inner peripheral side space and the back surface of the band saw blade holding plate 20 is in a state of being slightly in close contact with the front surface of the driving wheel 71 a.
On the other hand, since the major diameter of the inner peripheral side space is slightly shorter than the major diameters of the outer peripheries of the driving pulley 71a and the driven pulley 71b, the electromagnet 21, not shown, contacts the front surface side of the driven pulley 71b, and the driven pulley 71b is not accommodated in the right side portion of the inner peripheral side space. Here, the driven pulley 71b is moved toward the driving pulley 71a to assume a state when the band saw blade is attached and detached, the driven pulley 71b is accommodated in the inner circumferential side space, and all the electromagnets 21, 22, and 23 are energized to be excited, whereby the outer circumferential surface side of the band saw blade 100A is attracted to and held by the driving pulley 71a and the driven pulley 71b, and detached.
Next, as shown in fig. 5, the band saw blade changer 1A holding the old band saw blade 100A is pulled away from the band saw blade 7 by a predetermined distance, and the motor 5 shown in fig. 6 is driven to rotate the band saw blade holding plate 20 by 180 degrees, thereby holding the surface side of the new band saw blade 100B facing the driving wheel 71A and the driven wheel 71B of the band saw blade 7.
Next, as shown in fig. 7, the empty driven wheel 71B and the driving wheel 71a are accommodated in the inner peripheral side space holding the new band saw blade 100B and brought into close contact therewith, and the driven wheel 71B is separated from the driving wheel 71a, whereby the inner peripheral surface of the band saw blade 100B is brought into close contact therewith. In this state, all the electromagnets 21, 22, and 23 are demagnetized, and the band saw blade 100B is released from the holding state, and the driven wheel 71B is hung on the driving wheel 71A, and the band saw blade replacing device 1A shown in fig. 8 is pulled away from the band saw disc 7, whereby the band saw blade 100A is replaced.
In this way, by adopting the present embodiment in which the band saw blade replacing device 1A is formed as a separate mechanism from the band saw blade 7 and the moving operation thereof is performed by the existing crane means, a simple configuration can be realized with a reduced number of parts as compared with the prior art in which the band saw blade replacing device is attached to the band saw blade as a single unit, and the replacing operation of the band saw blade can be performed safely and accurately.
