Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of tobacco, and relates to a composition and application thereof in cigarettes. The composition can reduce pH value of mainstream smoke, and make cigarette smoke harmonious, soft and comfortable.
Background
The pH value of the cigarette mainstream smoke is one of the comprehensive indexes reflected by the overall quality of the cigarette, and the influence on the sensory quality is obvious. The pH value of the cigarette mainstream smoke can reflect the smoke strength, smoke irritation and nicotine inhalation felt by smokers.
An important characteristic of Chinese style cigarettes which is different from foreign mixed cigarettes is that the pH value of mainstream smoke is remarkably low. If the pH value of the mainstream smoke of the Chinese style flue-cured cigarette is increased, the content of free nicotine in the smoke is increased relative to the content of tar, the irritation is enhanced, and the dry feeling is obvious.
How to reduce the pH value of the mainstream smoke of the cigarettes, enable the smoke to be harmonious, smooth and strong in comfort level, form and strengthen unique sensory style characteristics of Chinese cigarettes, and become the focus of attention of tobacco industry enterprises.
