Description

Composition for adjusting pH value of cigarette smoke
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of tobacco, and relates to a composition and application thereof in cigarettes. The composition can reduce pH value of mainstream smoke, and make cigarette smoke harmonious, soft and comfortable.
Background
The pH value of the cigarette mainstream smoke is one of the comprehensive indexes reflected by the overall quality of the cigarette, and the influence on the sensory quality is obvious. The pH value of the cigarette mainstream smoke can reflect the smoke strength, smoke irritation and nicotine inhalation felt by smokers.
An important characteristic of Chinese style cigarettes which is different from foreign mixed cigarettes is that the pH value of mainstream smoke is remarkably low. If the pH value of the mainstream smoke of the Chinese style flue-cured cigarette is increased, the content of free nicotine in the smoke is increased relative to the content of tar, the irritation is enhanced, and the dry feeling is obvious.
How to reduce the pH value of the mainstream smoke of the cigarettes, enable the smoke to be harmonious, smooth and strong in comfort level, form and strengthen unique sensory style characteristics of Chinese cigarettes, and become the focus of attention of tobacco industry enterprises.

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the materials and methods of operation used in the following examples are well known in the art, unless otherwise specified.
The cut tobacco used in the following examples was flue-cured tobacco cut tobacco.
The method of detection of the pH of mainstream smoke in the following examples is as follows: taking out the finished cigarette sample from the box, and balancing for 48 hours in an environment with the temperature (20 +/-1) DEG C and the relative humidity (60 +/-2)%. The selection of the samples tested and the environmental conditions for smoking were carried out according to the international national standards (the definition and standard conditions of the conventional analysis for GB/T16450-2004 using a smoking machine and the determination of total particulate matter and tar by the conventional analysis for GB/T19609-2004 cigarette using a smoking machine).
Smoking 4 cigarettes on a smoking machine according to standard conditions, collecting particulate matters by using a Cambridge filter disc, transferring the filter disc with the collected smoke particulate matters into a clean conical flask with a plug and a capacity of 50mL, wiping the trap for 2 times by using glass wool, placing the conical flask into which 20mL of distilled water is accurately added, covering the plug, oscillating on a vibration table for 30min for extraction, and measuring the pH value by using a pH potentiometric titrator.
Sensory evaluation experiments in the following examples the sensory evaluation comparisons of cigarette samples were carried out by the sensory evaluation committee of the tobacco industry, llc in fujian according to GB 5606.4-2005.
