Description

Method and device for managing cell and storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for managing a cell, and a storage medium.
Background
The 5G network architecture has innovativeness and flexibility of networking, and as shown in fig. 1, a base station on the radio access network side in the 5G network is separated into two functional entities, namely a Centralized processing Unit (CU for short) and a Distributed processing Unit (DU for short). The CU includes an RRC and a Packet Data Convergence Protocol unit (PDCP for short), and the DU includes a Radio Link Control (RLC for short), a Medium Access Control (MAC for short), a physical layer (PHY for short) and a Radio Frequency unit (RF for short). The function of the PDCP is centrally deployed in the CU, that is, the CU is a centralized anchor point of the UP Data, and for a plurality of DUs under the CU, when the UE moves between the DUs, the CU can directly route the PDCP and Protocol Data Unit (Protocol Data Unit, abbreviated as PDU) of the UE to a new DU without switching through an S1 path, which saves a large amount of core network signaling overhead on one hand, reduces the time delay of handover on the other hand, and can enhance the mobility performance of the NR system. By controlling a plurality of distributed network elements through a centralized network element, the baseband centralized processing of a cloud architecture and remote distributed service provision for users can be realized. In the CU-DU separated network architecture, the delay insensitive network functions are placed in a centralized processing network element CU, the delay sensitive network functions are placed in a distributed processing network element DU, and the transmission and connection between the CU and DU is performed by ideal/non-ideal fronthaul (frontlaul). In addition, the separation of the centralized processing network element and the distributed processing network element can also be suitable for the future evolution of 4G.
However, as a new architecture mode, there is no explicit cell management procedure, related cell configuration parameters, and handover procedure of the UE between different cells under the same DU under the CU-DU architecture. In addition, there are multiple cells under one DU, and there are many different hardware boards (processors) under one DU, and these cells are operated on the board basis. However, during operation, each cell may select a different board, which results in that the cells under the same DU cannot perform carrier aggregation.
There is no effective solution to the above problems in the related art.
