Detailed Description
In view of the troubles caused by the prior art, the invention provides a mouse which can solve the problems of the prior art. First, a structure of the mouse of the present invention is described, please refer to fig. 3, which is a schematic partial sectional view of the mouse according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. The mouse 2 of the present invention includes a base 20, a cover 21, a circuit board 22, a key switch 23, an elastic cover 24 and an upper cover 25, wherein the cover 21 is disposed on the base 20 and covers the base 20, the cover 21 has an opening 211, and the opening 211 corresponds to a key (i.e. a left key or a right key of the mouse). The circuit board 22 is disposed on the base 20 and located between the base 20 and the cover 21, and the key switches 23 corresponding to the keys are disposed on the circuit board 22 and electrically connected to the circuit board 22, wherein the key switches 23 extend into the openings 211 and are exposed outside the cover 21. In the preferred embodiment, the circuit board 22 is a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). In order to keep the drawing clearly visible, other electronic components disposed on the circuit board 22 are not shown in fig. 3.
In fig. 3, the elastic cover 24 covers the key switch 23 and extends into the opening 211 together with the key switch 23 to prevent the key switch 23 from being exposed out of the opening 211. The upper cover 25 covers the cover plate 21, and the upper cover 25 has a trigger 251 that can contact the elastic cover 24. The upper cover 25 corresponds to a button (i.e. a left button or a right button of the mouse), and when the button is pressed, the upper cover 25 can swing relative to the cover plate 21 to abut against the elastic cover 24, so that the elastic cover 24 is deformed to trigger the button switch 23, and thereby, the button switch 23 can output a button signal.
The elastic cover 24 includes a contact portion 241, a fixing portion 242, and an extension portion 243. The contact portion 241 is disposed at the top end of the elastic cover 24, and extends into the opening 211 to contact with the trigger portion 251 of the upper cover 25. The first surface 2411 of the contact portion 241 is in contact with the trigger portion 251 of the upper cover 25, and the second surface 2412 of the contact portion 242 is in contact with the key switch 23. The fixing portion 242 is disposed at the bottom of the elastic cover 24, and can contact the upper surface 221 of the circuit board 22 and fix the elastic cover 24 on the upper surface 221 of the circuit board 22. As for the extension portion 243, it functions to connect the contact portion 241 and the fixing portion 242. In the preferred embodiment, the fixing portion 242 is fixed on the upper surface 221 of the circuit board 22 by a bonding method, the contact portion 241, the fixing portion 242 and the extending portion 243 are integrally formed, and the elastic cover 24 is made of a soft material such as a Silicone Rubber (Silicone Rubber) material.
The operation of the mouse 2 according to the present invention will be described. When the user presses the upper cover 25 corresponding to the key, the upper cover 25 swings relative to the cover 21 and the trigger portion 251 abuts against the contact portion 241, the abutted contact portion 241 deforms to trigger the key switch 23, so that the key switch 23 outputs a key signal. In which, because the arrangement of covering the elastic cover 24 on the key switch 23 is adopted, the touch and press hand feeling when the user touches the upper cover 25 can be improved by the elasticity of the elastic cover 24. Meanwhile, the elastic cover 24 provides the function of shielding the key switch 23, and also can block the noise generated by the triggering of the key switch 23, thereby providing the function of reducing the noise.
As shown in fig. 3, the key switch 23 of the mouse 2 of the present invention is disposed near the cover 21 and can extend into the opening 211, and the height H2 between the base 20 and the cover 21 is smaller than the height H1 between the base 101 and the cover 102 in fig. 2 by the disposition of the key switch 23 near the cover 21, so that the volume of the mouse 2 of the present invention can be reduced. It should be noted that, since the key switch 23 extends into the opening 211, external dust is easy to enter the key switch 23 through the opening 211, so that the elastic cover 24 is disposed on the key switch 23 to prevent the key switch 23 from being exposed out of the opening 211, thereby providing a dustproof function. On the other hand, since the key switch 23 extends into the opening 211, the external charges are easy to enter the key switch 23, so the covering of the elastic cover 24 on the key switch 23 can also block the external charges to avoid the electrostatic discharge phenomenon.
In addition, the present invention provides a second preferred embodiment different from the above. Please refer to fig. 4, which is a sectional view of a portion of a mouse according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. The mouse 3 of the present invention includes a base 30, a cover 31, a circuit board 32, a key switch 33, an elastic cover 34 and an upper cover 35, wherein the cover 31 has an opening 311, the opening 311 corresponds to a key (i.e. a left key or a right key of the mouse), and the elastic cover 34 includes a contact portion 341, a fixing portion 342 and an extending portion 343. The structure and function of each component of the mouse 3 are substantially the same as those of the mouse 2 of the above preferred embodiment, and the description of the same parts is omitted. The mouse 3 of the preferred embodiment is different from the preferred embodiment in the arrangement of the elastic cover 34.
In fig. 4, the contact portion 341 is disposed at the top end of the elastic cover 34, and extends into the opening 311 to contact with the trigger portion 351 of the upper cover 35. The first surface 3411 of the contact portion 341 contacts the triggering portion 351 of the upper cover 35, and the second surface 3412 of the contact portion 342 contacts the key switch 33. The fixing portion 342 is disposed at the bottom of the elastic cover 34, and can contact the inner surface 312 of the cover plate 31 and fix the elastic cover 34 on the inner surface 312 of the cover plate 31 to isolate the key switch 33. In the preferred embodiment, the fixing portion 342 is fixed on the inner surface 312 of the cover plate 31 by means of adhesion.
In the preferred embodiment, the elastic cover 34 is fixed on the inner surface 312 of the cover plate 31 to separate the key switch 33 from the outside, so as to block the external dust, the external liquid and the external charges passing through the opening 311, and prevent the external dust, the external liquid and the external charges from contacting the key switch 33 and the circuit board 32. In other words, the mouse 3 of the preferred embodiment can provide a waterproof function in addition to a dustproof function and an electrostatic discharge prevention function.
