Abstract
A cutting tool and a cutting method for PMI foam on a curved surface of a radome are disclosed. The cutting tool comprises a cutting clamp and a cutting tool. The cutting fixture comprises a cutting reference steel plate, a plate frame and a positioning seat. The cutting tool comprises a blade and a magnet seat. The cutting fixture is used for accurately positioning the curved surface PMI foam, and the cutting tool is used for accurately cutting. The magnet seat can be adsorbed on the cutting reference steel plate, the assembly structure of the magnet seat and the blade can enable the blade edge to be accurately located at the cutting position of the PMI foam, and an operator can hold the magnet seat to slide and cut on the cutting reference steel plate along the cutting direction. c. installing and positioning the curved surface PMI foam cutting clamp on a forming die 6 at a corresponding position, wherein the arc-shaped edge opening 4 of the cutting reference steel plate 1 is flush with the cutting line;
d. the bottom of a magnet seat 8 of the curved PMI foam cutting tool is attached to a cutting reference steel plate 1, the edge of a blade 7 is aligned with the cutting part of the curved PMI foam 11, and an operator holds the magnet seat 8 to slide and cut along the cutting line direction on the cutting reference steel plate 1, so that cutting can be accurately finished.
