Abstract
The application discloses a method and a device for switching network modes, wherein the method comprises the following steps: when a public network card and a special network card of a terminal are both in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a public network mode, monitoring whether the terminal enters a special network coverage area or not by a special network MODEM of the terminal, switching the working mode to the special network mode when the terminal enters the special network coverage area and no service is carried out currently, and triggering the public network MODEM of the terminal to be powered off; when the public network card and the special network card of the terminal are both in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a special network mode, the special network MODEM monitors whether the terminal leaves a special network coverage area or not, and when the terminal leaves the special network coverage area, the working mode is switched to the public network mode and the public network MODEM is triggered to be started. By adopting the invention, the power consumption of the terminal can be effectively reduced.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to mobile communication technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for switching network modes.
Background
The broadband trunking terminal is different in network channels carried by the broadband trunking terminal, and is roughly divided into two forms: the first one is relying on a private network to perform services through a base station, a core network and a service server, such as a B-trunk c terminal, a cluster terminal realized by an application layer based on the private network, and the like; the second is a cluster terminal that carries traffic over a public network by means of the public network resources 3G/4G, WIFI, etc. of the operator network.
The integration of the above two forms into a terminal is currently implemented, and the terminal can perform a trunking service through a private network or a public network. On the convergence terminal, the mode realizing the first form is called a private network mode, and the mode realizing the second form is called a public network mode.
Considering that the private network mode and the public network mode use different network coverage, the SIM cards used in most cases are independent, and the baseband module is also independent. In the existing implementation scheme of a terminal supporting a public/private network dual mode, two MODEMs are required to be configured in the terminal and respectively correspond to a private network mode and a public network mode, and the two modes are generally used for different types of services, for example, the private network mode is used for transmission of a voice service, and the public network mode is used for transmission of a data service.
In the above existing scheme, because two MODEMs are configured in the terminal, and a dual-channel simultaneous operation mode is adopted for performing the trunking service, the power consumption of the terminal is large.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention is directed to a method and an apparatus for switching a network mode, which can integrate a private network mode and a public network mode into a terminal and reduce power consumption of the terminal.

when the public network card and the special network card of the terminal are both in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a special network mode, the special network MODEM monitors whether the terminal leaves a special network coverage area or not, and when the terminal leaves the special network coverage area, the working mode is switched to the public network mode and the public network MODEM is triggered to be started.
A network mode switching apparatus, comprising:
the first switching control unit is used for monitoring whether the terminal enters a private network coverage area or not through a private network MODEM of the terminal when a public network card and a private network card of the terminal are in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a public network mode, switching the working mode to the private network mode when the terminal is monitored to enter the private network coverage area and no service is carried out currently, and triggering the public network MODEM of the terminal to be switched off;
and the second switching control unit is used for monitoring whether the terminal leaves a private network coverage area or not through the private network MODEM when the public network card and the private network card of the terminal are in an enabled state and the working mode of the terminal is in a private network mode, switching the working mode to the public network mode when the terminal leaves the private network coverage area, and simultaneously triggering the public network MODEM of the terminal to start.
In summary, the method and the device for switching network modes provided by the present invention do not distinguish MODEMs from each other to perform different types of services, in the private network mode, the terminal closes the public network MODEM corresponding to the public network mode, and monitors whether to leave the private network coverage area through the private network MODEM, while in the public network mode, the private network MODEM still needs to detect the private network coverage area, and when it is monitored that the terminal leaves the private network coverage area, the terminal is triggered to switch from the public network mode to the private network mode. Therefore, on one hand, according to the detection result of the private network MODEM on the private network coverage area, the automatic switching between the public network mode and the private network mode can be realized, and on the other hand, the power consumption of the terminal can be effectively reduced by controlling the on/off of the public network MODEM. Therefore, the invention can reduce the power consumption of the terminal while integrating the private network mode and the public network mode into one terminal.

Here, the public network card is an SIM card of the public network, and the private network card is an SIM card of the private network.
When the working mode of the terminal is the public network mode, the service transmission can be carried out only by using the public network, and when the working mode of the terminal is the private network mode, the service transmission can be carried out only by using the private network.
In this step, when the public network card and the private network card of the terminal are both currently in the enabled state, in the public network mode, the private network MODEM corresponding to the private network mode will continue to search for the private network coverage area, so as to ensure that the private network mode is recovered quickly in the following. Once the private network coverage area is found to be entered, switching to the private network mode is considered, and the public network MODEM needs to be turned off after the private network mode is entered. Here, considering that the public network generally has better coverage, if the public network state is the case, the signal degradation of the public network is not used as a trigger condition for switching to the private network state. The private network switching mode is initiated only after the private network has returned to the coverage area. In order to maintain the continuity of the user service and avoid the forced interruption of the service, in this step, when it is monitored that the private network coverage area enters, the private network mode is switched to only under the condition that the cluster service is not available in the public network mode. And after the terminal is switched to the private network mode, the terminal shuts down the public network MODEM so as to reduce the power consumption of the whole machine.
Preferably, the private network MODEM may periodically detect whether the terminal enters a private network coverage area according to a preset first detection period, so as to avoid consumption of battery power generated by ceaselessly searching for a network when no private network coverage exists. The duration of the first detection period can be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs.
Preferably, in the process of switching to the private network mode in this step, a ping-pong protection mechanism may be added, that is: when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal enters a private network coverage area and keeps a preset first time length, and no service is currently carried out, the working mode is switched to a private network mode, and meanwhile, the public network MODEM of the terminal is triggered to be turned off. The duration of the first time length can be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs.

Preferably, in order to save power consumption of the terminal and reduce power consumption of network searching, the private network MODEM may periodically detect whether the terminal leaves the private network coverage area according to a preset second detection period. The duration of the second detection period can be set by those skilled in the art according to actual needs.
Preferably, in the process of switching to the public network mode in this step, a ping-pong protection mechanism may be added, that is: and when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal leaves a private network coverage area and keeps a preset second time length, switching the working mode to a public network mode, and triggering the public network MODEM to be started.
The duration of the second time length can be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs.
Preferably, the following method may be specifically adopted to set the operation mode of the terminal according to two SIM card enabling conditions of the terminal:
when the terminal detects that only the public network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the public network mode;
when the terminal detects that only the special network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the special network mode;
when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current private network card are both in the starting state and are in a private network coverage area, setting the working mode to be a private network mode;
and when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current special network card are both in the starting state and are not in the special network coverage area, setting the working mode to be the public network mode.
It should be noted that, in practical applications, there is no time sequence restriction between steps 101 and 102, and as long as the execution conditions defined in each step are met, the corresponding operation mode switching operation can be executed.
It can be seen from the above embodiments that in the above solutions, different types of services are not performed by using MODEMs, and after the terminal enters the private network mode, the public network MODEM corresponding to the public network mode is turned off, and after the terminal enters the public network mode, the private network MODEM corresponding to the private network mode still searches for a private network coverage area, and the switch from the public network mode to the private network mode is triggered according to the detection result. Therefore, on the one hand, according to the detection result of the private network coverage area, the automatic switching between the public network mode and the private network mode can be realized, and on the other hand, the power consumption of the terminal can be effectively reduced by controlling the switch of the public network MODEM.
In addition, in the above scheme, the terminal preferentially selects the private network for service according to the detection of the private network coverage area, so that the performance, the security and the user experience can be improved, and meanwhile, the user can be ensured to use the shared network for cluster service when the private network is not sufficiently constructed, thereby improving the transmission quality of service data to the greatest extent by utilizing private network and public network resources.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a network mode switching apparatus corresponding to the above method, as shown in fig. 2, the apparatus includes:
the first switching control unit is used for monitoring whether the terminal enters a private network coverage area or not through a private network MODEM of the terminal when a public network card and a private network card of the terminal are in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a public network mode, switching the working mode to the private network mode when the terminal enters the private network coverage area and no service is carried out currently, and triggering the public network MODEM of the terminal to be turned off.
And the second switching control unit is used for monitoring whether the terminal leaves a private network coverage area or not through the private network MODEM when the public network card and the private network card of the terminal are in an enabled state and the working mode of the terminal is in a private network mode, switching the working mode to the public network mode when the terminal leaves the private network coverage area, and simultaneously triggering the public network MODEM of the terminal to start.
Preferably, when the working mode of the terminal is the public network mode, the service transmission can be performed only by using the public network, and when the working mode of the terminal is the private network mode, the service transmission can be performed only by using the private network.
Preferably, the device may further include a mode setting unit, configured to set the working mode to the public network mode when the terminal detects that only the public network card is currently in the enabled state; when the terminal detects that only the special network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the special network mode; when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current private network card are both in the starting state and are in a private network coverage area, setting the working mode to be a private network mode; when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current private network card are both in the enabled state and are not in the private network coverage area, the terminal sets the working mode to be the public network mode, preferably, the first switching control unit is used for switching the working mode to the private network mode and triggering the shutdown of the public network MODEM of the terminal when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal enters the private network coverage area and keeps the preset first time length and no service is performed currently.
Preferably, the second switching control unit is configured to switch the working mode to a public network mode and trigger the public network MODEM to power on when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal leaves a private network coverage area and keeps a preset second time duration.

when a public network card and a special network card of a terminal are both in an enabled state currently and the working mode of the terminal is a special network mode, monitoring whether the terminal leaves a special network coverage area or not by the special network MODEM, switching the working mode to the public network mode when the terminal leaves the special network coverage area, and triggering the public network MODEM to start up;
when the working mode of the terminal is the public network mode, the service transmission can be carried out only by using the public network, and when the working mode of the terminal is the private network mode, the service transmission can be carried out only by using the private network.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
when the terminal detects that only the public network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the public network mode;
when the terminal detects that only the special network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the special network mode;
when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current private network card are both in the starting state and are in a private network coverage area, setting the working mode to be a private network mode;
and when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current special network card are both in the starting state and are not in the special network coverage area, setting the working mode to be the public network mode.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the monitoring, by the terminal's private network MODEM, whether the terminal enters the private network coverage area comprises:
detecting whether the terminal enters a private network coverage area or not by a private network MODEM of the terminal according to a preset first detection period;
the monitoring of the terminal by the special network MODEM whether the terminal leaves the special network coverage area comprises the following steps:

6. The apparatus of claim 5, further comprising:
the mode setting unit is used for setting the working mode to be the public network mode when the terminal detects that only the public network card is in the starting state currently; when the terminal detects that only the special network card is in the starting state at present, the working mode is set to be the special network mode; when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current private network card are both in the starting state and are in a private network coverage area, setting the working mode to be a private network mode; and when the terminal detects that the current public network card and the current special network card are both in the starting state and are not in the special network coverage area, setting the working mode to be the public network mode.

and the second switching control unit is configured to detect whether the terminal leaves a private network coverage area according to a preset second detection period by using the private network MODEM.

The apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the first switching control unit is configured to switch the working mode to the private network mode and trigger a shutdown of a public network MODEM of the terminal when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal enters a private network coverage area and keeps a preset first time duration, and no service is currently performed;
and the second switching control unit is used for switching the working mode to the public network mode and triggering the public network MODEM to be started up when the private network MODEM monitors that the terminal leaves a private network coverage area and keeps a preset second time length.
