Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an imaging lens for imaging an image of an object on a solid-state imaging element of a CCD sensor or a C-MOS sensor used in an imaging device, and more particularly, to an imaging lens incorporated in an imaging device mounted on a smartphone, a mobile phone, a pda (personal Digital assistant), a game machine, a PC, a robot, or other information equipment which is being downsized and has a low back, a home appliance or an automobile to which a camera function is added, or the like.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
However, when the lens structures described in patent documents 1 and 2 are intended to achieve low back and low F-number, it is difficult to correct aberrations in the peripheral portion, and good optical performance cannot be obtained.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide an imaging lens with high resolution in which each aberration is corrected well while satisfying both low back and low F-number in a balanced manner.
In addition, with respect to the terms used in the present invention, the convex, concave, and planar surfaces of the lens are defined as the shape of the paraxial (near the optical axis), the power refers to the power of the paraxial, and the pole is defined as the point on the aspherical surface other than the optical axis on which the tangent plane perpendicularly intersects the optical axis. The total optical length is defined as the distance on the optical axis from the object-side surface of the optical element located closest to the object side to the image pickup surface, and the thickness of an infrared cut filter, a cover glass, or the like disposed between the image pickup lens and the image pickup surface is converted to air.
Means for solving the problems
An imaging lens according to the present invention is an imaging lens for imaging an image of an object on a solid-state imaging element, comprising, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens having a positive optical power; a second lens having a positive optical power; a third lens; a fourth lens; a fifth lens having both surfaces formed as aspherical surfaces; a sixth lens element having aspherical surfaces on both surfaces and having a concave surface facing the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis; the image-side surface of the sixth lens element is formed into an aspherical surface which changes into a convex surface in a peripheral portion.
In the above configuration, the first lens realizes a low back and a wide angle of the imaging lens by positive refractive power. The second lens is a lens having positive optical power, and realizes low back and wide angle of the imaging lens and excellently corrects astigmatism and curvature of field. The third lens and the fourth lens uniformly correct various aberrations such as spherical aberration, coma aberration, astigmatism, and curvature of field while maintaining low back. The fifth lens element is formed by an aspherical surface formed on both surfaces, thereby reducing the burden on the sixth lens element in curvature of field correction, distortion correction, and control of the incident angle of light rays to the image pickup element. The sixth lens maintains low-back and ensures back focus. Further, the aspherical surfaces formed on both surfaces perform curvature of field correction, distortion correction, and control of the incident angle of light rays to the imaging element.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (1) is preferably satisfied.
(1)1.5<νd4/νd5<3.6,
Wherein,
ν d 4: abbe Number (Abbe Number) of the fourth lens with respect to d-line
ν d 5: abbe number of the fifth lens with respect to d-line.
The conditional expression (1) defines the relationship between the abbe numbers of the fourth lens and the fifth lens with respect to the d-line, and is a condition for correcting the chromatic aberration of magnification satisfactorily. The chromatic aberration of magnification is corrected well by satisfying the conditional expression (1).
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (2) is preferably satisfied.
(2)0.30<(T3/TTL)×100<0.85,
Wherein,
t3: a distance on the optical axis from the image-side surface of the third lens to the object-side surface of the fourth lens
TTL: a distance on the optical axis from the object-side surface of the first lens to the image pickup surface.
The conditional expression (2) defines the distance on the optical axis from the image-side surface of the third lens to the object-side surface of the fourth lens within an appropriate range, and is a condition for achieving low back and satisfactory aberration correction. By satisfying the range of conditional expression (2), the total optical length can be suppressed to be short, and the incidence angle of light rays to the fourth lens can be made appropriate, and excessive occurrence of spherical aberration, coma aberration, and distortion can be suppressed.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (3) is preferably satisfied.
(3)0.5<νd1/(νd2+νd3)<1.0,
Wherein,
ν d 1: abbe number of the first lens with respect to d-line
ν d 2: abbe number of the second lens relative to d-line
ν d 3: abbe number of the third lens with respect to d-line.
Conditional expression (3) specifies the relationship among the abbe numbers of the first lens, the second lens, and the third lens with respect to the d-line, and is a condition for excellently correcting chromatic aberration on the axis. Chromatic aberration on the axis is corrected better by satisfying the conditional expression (3).
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the second lens is preferably a biconvex shape in which a convex surface faces the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis, or a meniscus shape in which a concave surface faces the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis.
When the second lens is formed into a biconvex shape near the optical axis, positive power can be appropriately assigned to the object-side surface and the image-side surface. Therefore, it is possible to set strong positive power while suppressing generation of spherical aberration. As a result, the imaging lens can be further reduced in height and wider in angle.
On the other hand, when the second lens is formed into a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis, the incidence angle of light to the second lens can be appropriately suppressed, and thus coma aberration and high-order spherical aberration can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the fourth lens preferably has positive refractive power. Further preferably, the fourth lens has a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis, or a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis.
When the fourth lens is formed into a biconvex shape near the optical axis, positive power can be appropriately assigned to the object-side surface and the image-side surface. Therefore, it is possible to set strong positive power while suppressing generation of spherical aberration. As a result, the imaging lens can be further reduced in height and wider in angle.
On the other hand, when the fourth lens is formed into a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis, the incident angle of light to the fourth lens can be appropriately suppressed, and thus coma aberration and high-order spherical aberration can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (4) is preferably satisfied.
(4)1.35<f1/f<3.30,
Wherein,
f 1: focal length of the first lens
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
The conditional expression (4) specifies the focal power of the first lens, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. When the refractive index is smaller than the upper limit value of the conditional expression (4), the positive refractive power of the first lens is made an appropriate value, and the low back is facilitated. On the other hand, by being larger than the lower limit value of conditional expression (4), high-order spherical aberration and coma aberration can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (5) is preferably satisfied.
(5)0.8<f2/f<3.4,
Wherein,
f 2: focal length of the second lens
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
The conditional expression (5) specifies the power of the second lens, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. When the refractive index is smaller than the upper limit value of the conditional expression (5), the positive refractive power of the second lens is set to an appropriate value, and the low back is facilitated. On the other hand, by being larger than the lower limit value of conditional expression (5), high-order spherical aberration and coma aberration can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the refractive power of the third lens is preferably negative, and more preferably satisfies the following conditional expression (6).
(6)-1.70<f3/f<-0.65,
Wherein,
f 3: focal length of the third lens
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
Conditional expression (6) specifies the power of the third lens, and is a condition for reducing the manufacturing error sensitivity and correcting coma aberration and distortion well. By not making the optical power of the third lens excessively strong or weak, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing error sensitivity and correct coma aberration and distortion in the peripheral portion satisfactorily.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (7) is preferably satisfied.
(7)0.65<f4/f<2.10,
Wherein,
f 4: focal length of the fourth lens
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
Conditional expression (7) specifies the focal power of the fourth lens, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. When the refractive index is smaller than the upper limit value of the conditional expression (7), the positive refractive power of the fourth lens is set to an appropriate value, and the low back can be achieved. On the other hand, by being larger than the lower limit value of conditional expression (7), high-order spherical aberration and coma aberration can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (8) is preferably satisfied.
(8)1.9<|f6|/f,
Wherein,
f 6: focal length of sixth lens
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
The conditional expression (8) specifies the refractive power of the sixth lens, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. By being larger than the lower limit of the conditional expression (8), chromatic aberration can be corrected, the total optical length can be shortened, and curvature of field can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, it is preferable that the fifth lens element has two surfaces formed in a plane in the vicinity of the optical axis and has substantially no refractive power in the vicinity of the optical axis.
By forming the fifth lens so that both surfaces are flat near the optical axis and the fifth lens has substantially no refractive power near the optical axis, it is possible to correct each aberration such as chromatic aberration of magnification satisfactorily without affecting the focal length of the entire system or the distribution of refractive power of other lenses.
The fifth lens is not limited to the case where both surfaces are flat near the optical axis. Various shapes such as a meniscus shape with a convex surface facing the object side, a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side, a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side, a biconcave shape with a concave surface facing the object side and the image side, a shape with an object side being a plane and an image side being a convex or concave, a shape with an image side being a plane and an object side being a convex or concave, and the like near the optical axis can be selected as long as the influence of the focal length of the entire system and the power of each lens is suppressed to be small.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (9) is preferably satisfied.
(9)0.1<D6/ΣD<0.3,
Wherein,
d6: thickness of the sixth lens on the optical axis
E, sigma D: the total of the thicknesses of the first lens, the second lens, the third lens, the fourth lens, the fifth lens, and the sixth lens on the optical axis.
The conditional expression (9) specifies the thickness of the sixth lens on the optical axis relative to the sum of the thicknesses of the first lens to the sixth lens on the optical axis, and is a condition for improving moldability and correcting aberrations well. By satisfying the range of the conditional expression (9), the thickness of the sixth lens element can be made an appropriate value, and the thickness variation between the central portion and the peripheral portion of the sixth lens element can be reduced. As a result, the moldability of the sixth lens can be improved. Further, by satisfying the range of the conditional expression (9), the thickness on the optical axis and the interval between the first lens and the fifth lens can be appropriately set, and thus the degree of freedom of the aspherical shape can be improved. As a result, the aberration can be corrected satisfactorily.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (10) is preferably satisfied.
(10)0.7<Σ(L1F-L6R)/f<1.6,
Wherein,
Σ (L1F-L6R): a distance on the optical axis from the object-side surface of the first lens to the image-side surface of the sixth lens
F: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
The conditional expression (10) specifies the distance on the optical axis from the object-side surface of the first lens to the image-side surface of the sixth lens with respect to the focal length of the entire imaging lens system, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. When the value is less than the upper limit value of the conditional expression (10), the back focus is secured and a space for arranging the filter and the like can be secured. On the other hand, if the value is larger than the lower limit of the conditional expression (10), the thickness of each lens constituting the imaging lens can be easily secured. In addition, since the interval between the lenses can be appropriately set, the degree of freedom of the aspherical shape can be improved. As a result, the aberration can be corrected satisfactorily.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the third lens is preferably formed in a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis. More preferably, the following conditional expression (11) is satisfied.
(11)0.1<r5/r6<0.7,
Wherein,
r 5: paraxial radius of curvature of object-side surface of third lens
r 6: a paraxial radius of curvature of a surface on the image side of the third lens.
Conditional expression (11) defines the relationship between the radius of curvature of the object-side surface and the radius of curvature of the image-side surface of the third lens, and is a condition for correcting aberrations satisfactorily. By making the shape of the third lens near the optical axis a meniscus shape in a range satisfying the conditional expression (11), coma aberration and astigmatism can be corrected well.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expressions (12) and (13) are preferably satisfied.
(12)0.20<r11/f<0.55,
(13)0.15<r12/f<0.45,
Wherein,
r 11: paraxial radius of curvature of object-side surface of sixth lens
r 12: paraxial radius of curvature of image-side surface of sixth lens element
f: the focal length of the whole system of the camera lens.
Conditional expressions (12) and (13) specify the shape of the sixth lens element in the vicinity of the optical axis, and are conditions for securing the back focal length and achieving a low back. By satisfying the ranges of conditional expression (12) and conditional expression (13), it is possible to secure an appropriate back focus and achieve a low back.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (14) is preferably satisfied.
(14)Fno≤2.0
Wherein,
fno: and F value.
Conditional expression (14) defines the F value, and by being smaller than the upper limit value of conditional expression (14), when mounted in a mobile phone, a digital camera, a monitor camera, a car camera, or the like, it is possible to sufficiently secure the luminance required for an imaging lens in recent years.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (15) is preferably satisfied.
(15)0.6<f2/f4<2.6
Wherein,
f 2: focal length of the second lens
f 4: focal length of the fourth lens.
The conditional expression (15) defines the ratio of the refractive power of the second lens to the refractive power of the fourth lens within an appropriate range, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. By satisfying the range of conditional expression (15), strong positive power can be appropriately balanced in the second lens and the fourth lens, thereby achieving low back and wide angle and excellently correcting astigmatism and curvature of field.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (16) is preferably satisfied.
(16)0.60<T3/T4<1.35
Wherein,
t3: a distance on the optical axis from the image-side surface of the third lens to the object-side surface of the fourth lens
T4: a distance on the optical axis from the image-side surface of the fourth lens to the object-side surface of the fifth lens.
Conditional expression (16) specifies the ratio between the interval between the third lens and the fourth lens and the interval between the fourth lens and the fifth lens, and is a condition for achieving low back and correcting aberrations satisfactorily. By satisfying the range of conditional expression (16), the difference between the interval between the third lens and the fourth lens and the interval between the fourth lens and the fifth lens is suppressed from increasing, and low-back is achieved. Further, by satisfying the range of the conditional expression (16), the fourth lens is arranged at the optimum position, and the respective aberration correction functions of the lenses become more effective.
In the imaging lens having the above configuration, the following conditional expression (17) is preferably satisfied.
(17)5<(D5/TTL)×100<12
Wherein,
d5: thickness of the fifth lens on the optical axis
TTL: a distance on the optical axis from the object-side surface of the first lens to the image pickup surface.
The conditional expression (17) appropriately specifies the thickness of the fifth lens on the optical axis, and is a condition for maintaining the moldability of the fifth lens well and realizing low back. By being smaller than the upper limit value of the conditional expression (17), the thickness of the fifth lens on the optical axis is prevented from becoming excessively thick, and the object-side air space and the image-side air space of the fifth lens are easily ensured. As a result, the lower back can be maintained. On the other hand, if the thickness of the fifth lens is larger than the lower limit of conditional expression (17), the thickness of the fifth lens on the optical axis is prevented from becoming too thin, and the moldability of the lens is improved.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain an imaging lens having high resolution in which each aberration is corrected well while satisfying the requirements for lower back and lower F value in a balanced manner.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 are schematic configuration diagrams of imaging lenses according to embodiments 1 to 7 of the present invention, respectively.
As shown in fig. 1, the imaging lens of the present embodiment includes, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens L1 having a positive optical power; a second lens L2 having a positive optical power; a third lens L3; a fourth lens L4; a fifth lens L5 both surfaces of which are formed as aspherical surfaces; the concave surface faces the sixth lens L6 on the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. The image-side surface of the sixth lens element L6 is formed into an aspheric surface whose peripheral portion changes to a convex surface toward the image side.
Further, a filter IR such as an infrared cut filter or a cover glass is disposed between the sixth lens L6 and the imaging surface IMG (i.e., the imaging surface of the image pickup device). In addition, the filter IR can be omitted.
The first lens L1 is a lens having positive refractive power, and realizes a low back and a wide angle of the imaging lens while suppressing generation of each aberration by an aspherical surface formed on both surfaces. The first lens L1 is formed in a meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, or in a biconvex shape with the convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. In example 1 shown in fig. 1, example 2 shown in fig. 3, example 3 shown in fig. 5, example 5 shown in fig. 9, and example 7 shown in fig. 13, the first lens L1 is formed into a meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, and in this case, the principal point position on the image side of the imaging lens is shifted to the object side, which is advantageous in lowering the back. Example 4 shown in fig. 7 and example 6 shown in fig. 11 are examples in which the first lens L1 is formed into a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. In this case, the principal point position on the image side of the imaging lens is shifted to the image side, which is advantageous for widening the angle.
The second lens L2 is a lens having positive refractive power, and is formed by an aspherical surface formed on both surfaces, thereby favorably correcting astigmatism and curvature of field and achieving a low back and a wide angle of the imaging lens. The second lens L2 is formed in a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, or in a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. Example 1 shown in fig. 1, example 2 shown in fig. 3, example 3 shown in fig. 5, example 4 shown in fig. 7, and example 7 shown in fig. 13 are examples in which the second lens L2 is formed into a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. In this case, by appropriately assigning positive power to the object-side surface and the image-side surface, it is possible to set strong positive power while suppressing generation of spherical aberration. As a result, the imaging lens can be further reduced in height and wider in angle. In example 5 shown in fig. 9 and example 6 shown in fig. 11, in which the second lens L2 is formed into a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, the incident angle of light to the second lens L2 can be appropriately suppressed, and thus coma aberration and high-order spherical aberration can be corrected satisfactorily.
The third lens L3 is a lens having negative refractive power, and spherical aberration, coma aberration, astigmatism, and chromatic aberration are corrected favorably by an aspherical surface formed on both surfaces. By forming the third lens L3 into a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, the incident angle of light to the third lens L3 can be appropriately suppressed, and thus coma aberration and high-order spherical aberration can be corrected favorably.
The fourth lens L4 is a lens having positive refractive power, and is formed by an aspherical surface formed on both surfaces, thereby favorably correcting astigmatism and curvature of field and achieving a low back and a wide angle of the imaging lens. The fourth lens L4 is formed in a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, or in a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. Example 1 shown in fig. 1, example 2 shown in fig. 3, example 3 shown in fig. 5, example 4 shown in fig. 7, example 5 shown in fig. 9, and example 6 shown in fig. 11 are examples in which the fourth lens L4 is formed in a biconvex shape in the vicinity of the optical axis X. In this case, by appropriately assigning positive power to the object-side surface and the image-side surface, it is possible to set strong positive power while suppressing generation of spherical aberration. As a result, the imaging lens can be further reduced in height and increased in angle. Example 7 shown in fig. 13 is an example in which the fourth lens L4 is formed into a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the object side in the vicinity of the optical axis X. In this case, since the incident angle of the light beam to the fourth lens L4 can be appropriately suppressed, coma and high-order spherical aberration can be corrected satisfactorily.
The fifth lens L5 reduces the burden of curvature of field correction, distortion correction, and control of the angle of incidence of light rays on the imaging element, which are borne by the sixth lens L6, and also bears correction of chromatic aberration of magnification, by the aspherical surface formed on both surfaces. The fifth lens L5 has a planar shape on both the object side and the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X, and is a lens for aberration correction having substantially no power in the vicinity of the optical axis X. Therefore, the focal length of the entire system or the distribution of the power of other lenses is not affected, and the respective aberrations are corrected well. The fifth lens L5 is not limited to a shape in which both surfaces are flat near the optical axis X. As long as the influence on the focal length of the entire system or the power of each lens is controlled to be small, various shapes such as a meniscus shape with a convex surface facing the object side, a biconvex shape with a convex surface facing the object side and the image side, a meniscus shape with a concave surface facing the object side, a biconcave shape with a concave surface facing the object side and the image side, a shape with an object side being a plane and an image side being a convex or concave surface, a shape with an image side being a plane and an object side being a convex or concave surface, and the like can be selected in the vicinity of the optical axis X.
The sixth lens L6 is a lens having a concave surface facing the image side in the vicinity of the optical axis X and negative refractive power, and ensures a back focus while maintaining low back. As in example 7 shown in fig. 13, the refractive power of the sixth lens L6 may be positive. Further, the aspherical surfaces formed on both surfaces perform curvature of field correction, distortion correction, and control of the incident angle of light rays to the imaging element. The image-side surface of the sixth lens element L6 is an aspherical surface having a pole, and changes to a convex surface at a position away from the optical axis X, and then maintains the shape of the convex surface until the effective diameter end. Such an aspherical shape facilitates correction of curvature of field and control of the angle of incidence of light to the imaging element.
In the imaging lens of the present embodiment, an aperture stop ST is disposed on the object side of the first lens L1. Since the aperture stop ST is disposed at the most object-side position to separate the position of the entrance pupil from the image plane, the angle of incidence of light rays on the imaging element and the telecentricity can be easily controlled.
For example, as shown in fig. 1, the imaging lens according to the present embodiment is preferably a single lens in which all of the first lens L1 to the sixth lens L6 are not joined. Since a configuration not including a cemented lens enables more aspheric surfaces to be used, each aberration can be corrected well. In addition, since the number of steps for joining can be reduced, the manufacturing can be performed at low cost.
In addition, since all the lenses of the imaging lens according to the present embodiment are made of a plastic material, the imaging lens is easy to manufacture and can be mass-produced at low cost. Further, appropriate aspherical surfaces are formed on both surfaces of all the lenses, so that each aberration can be corrected more appropriately.
The lens material used is not limited to a plastic material. By using a glass material, higher performance can be achieved. Further, all lens surfaces are preferably formed to be aspherical, but spherical surfaces which are easy to manufacture may be adopted depending on required performance.
