The invention relates to an impedance automatic matching adjustable power coupler, belonging to the technical field of indoor mobile communication systems.
Background
The power coupler is applied to the field of mobile communication, for example, the indoor coverage of large buildings and venues is realized by connecting a high-power POI (combiner system), and the signal strength is reduced by connecting a high-power transmitter to match the input power requirement of the optical fiber repeater. The following should be considered for the requirement of an excellent power coupler:
1. the coupling degree of the power coupler cannot be only one, and the coupling degree can be adjusted, so that the adjustable coupling degree range needs to be large enough; 2. the power coupling degree should not only be weak coupling, but also need strong coupling, and can achieve equal division of all ports, namely 3dB coupling; 3. because of the strict requirements on the power input value in certain occasions, the continuous adjustability of the coupling degree is also an important index, such as the input power of an optical communication repeater: 4. the coupling frequency bandwidth of the coupler should cover the entire mobile communication spectrum; 5. the main line input power can be reflected back to the input port by the standing wave performance of the device to different degrees, and if the coupler has a larger standing wave value or a standing wave jump when in debugging or in a certain coupling position, the transmitter can be damaged due to overlarge reflected power to cause accidents and losses.
The original adjustable technology needs to be realized by using a contact elastic component, is difficult to process and high in cost, and more importantly, the head of the whole adjustable part needs to be moved for a long length, so that the adaptability is poor, the adjustment is troublesome, and the adjustable part cannot be installed in a fixed space position. The original adjustable power coupler can not achieve impedance matching in the adjusting process, can only achieve weak coupling adjustment of 15-30dB, can not be used because standing waves are poor due to overlarge impedance mismatch when being adjusted to strong coupling, and can only use fixed power coupling design at 6-15 dB.

The adjustable power coupler with the automatically matched impedance can be arranged at a fixed space position, and only the knob on the panel is required to be rotated during adjustment, so that the adjustable power coupler is convenient and quick, and can better perform impedance matching to realize strong coupling and adjustable coupling while adjusting the coupling degree through the tuning component, thereby achieving the strong coupling of 6dB which cannot be realized by the original adjustable power coupler. The rotor is automatically locked at any position by the structural optimization design of the rotor, so that stepless (continuous) tuning of coupling degree is truly realized, and standing waves are free from jump during coupling tuning.

As shown in fig. 1, the adjustable power divider provided by the invention comprises a main line 1, a secondary line coupling piece 2, a coupling output port 3, an adjustable component 4 (rotor) and a gear transmission pair 5.
The main line 1 is in a straight shape, and two ends of the main line are respectively an input port and an output port. The sub-line coupling tab 2 is connected to a coupling output port 3, the coupling output port 3 being for outputting a coupling signal. An adjustable component 4 is arranged between the main line 1 and the auxiliary line coupling sheet 2. The gear transmission pair 5 is driven to rotate by rotating the adjusting switch outside the cavity, so that the adjustable component 4 is driven to rotate around the main line 1, the coupling degree is adjusted by rotating the adjustable component 4, and power distribution with different proportions is realized. When the adjustable component 4 is screwed between the main line 1 and the auxiliary line coupling piece 2, the maximum coupling (6 dB) is achieved, and the adjustable component 4 is screwed below the main line 1 and the weakest coupling (20 dB) is achieved. When the adjustable component 4 rotates, the structures of the cavity, the main line 1 and the adjustable component 4 are optimized, so that impedance matching of any coupling degree is realized, and excellent standing wave performance of the main line is realized while 6-20dB power distribution adjustability is realized.
When the input port and the output port are operated by the adjustable components, the positions of the ports are kept unchanged, the bandwidth of the design can be from 694MHz to 2700MHz, and through impedance matching, the coupling degree can be adjusted to be 6dB at maximum, and the design has very good standing waves. The power distribution can be adjusted to proper power distribution in different frequency bands according to the power requirements, the size of the power distribution is ensured not to change, and the practicability is good. The mounting position of the packaging device does not need to be changed after packaging because of being adjustable.
