Technical Field
The invention relates to a sealing structure, in particular to a sealing structure of a rear cover of an automobile headlamp.
Background
With the rapid development of the automobile industry, the structure and function of the automobile headlamp are developed comprehensively. Headlamps have not only been required to fulfill their functional requirements, but also to meet both greater functionality and better aesthetics. Many automotive headlamps have become unique and identifying components. Among the performance standards of automotive headlamps, air-tightness is a very important indicator. If the air tightness of the headlamp is poor, the headlamp enters water, and the lamp is fogged, so that the function and the attractiveness of the headlamp are directly affected, and even serious automobile accidents and other consequences are caused. And in the structure of the head lamp, there are one or more rear covers that facilitate disassembly and assembly for maintenance, which is a structure that may seriously affect the airtightness of the head lamp. In order to ensure the airtightness of the head lamp, the rear cover requires a sealing structure during the mounting process.
In a common rear cover sealing structure, an O-ring used for sealing is made of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer). The use of this material does ensure the air-tightness of the headlamp, but the hardness of this material is high, as shA40-shA45, the compression force is high, so that a large torque is required for screwing and unscrewing the rear cover, and the rear cover attachment and detachment torque is excessive. And the aging period of the EPDM material is short, the hardness is obviously increased after the EPDM material is placed for three days, the dismounting moment becomes larger, and inconvenience is brought to the dismounting and the maintenance of the automobile headlamp.
To solve this problem, the solution is to reduce the compression force of the seal ring. Reducing the compressive force can be accomplished by reducing the amount of compression of the seal ring and reducing the hardness of the seal ring.
