The method is widely applied to solid-liquid separation in the fields of metallurgy, mining, chemical industry, papermaking, food, pharmacy, environmental protection and the like, and particularly has good application in gypsum dehydration in flue gas desulfurization.

2. a squeezing device is added at the front section of the driving wheel after the vacuum filtration process, and a squeezing process can be added after the vacuum filtration to further remove the water in the filter cake and reduce the water content of the filter cake;
3. because the inner surface of the metal mesh grid conveyer belt is flat, the outer surface of the metal mesh grid conveyer belt is provided with the bulges which are uniformly distributed, the filter cloth is matched with the bulges, the use of a grating plate can be replaced, and one metal mesh grid conveyer belt can realize double functions of conveying and permeable filtering;
4. the vacuum box is driven to lift by adopting a hydraulic cylinder, and the pull-cord switch is matched for detecting and positioning, so that the control of precise lifting and sealing compaction of the vacuum chamber can be realized, and the automatic control of the filtering process can be completed;
5. compared with the prior filtering device which completes suction filtration by matching parts such as a vacuum box, a sliding table, a friction belt and the like, the steel belt type vacuum filter reduces consumption of wearing parts and increases the service cycle and continuous operation time of the device.
