The embodiment of the invention provides a power adapter detection method, which comprises the following steps: acquiring a first voltage value of a power adapter, wherein the first voltage value is a voltage value of the power adapter during no-load; gradually increasing the load resistance value of the power adapter, and detecting a difference value between the first voltage value and a second voltage value in real time, wherein the second voltage value is the voltage value of the power adapter obtained by real-time detection in the process of increasing the load resistance value of the power adapter; and when detecting that the difference value between the first voltage value and the second voltage value is not greater than a preset voltage threshold value, recording the current load current value of the power adapter. The embodiment of the invention also provides a corresponding power adapter detection device, which is respectively described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, a method for detecting a power adapter according to an embodiment of the present invention is described below, where the method for detecting a power adapter according to the embodiment of the present invention includes:
101. acquiring a first voltage value of a power adapter;
the first voltage value is a voltage value of the power adapter in no-load.
Optionally, after the power adapter is connected to the terminal and the power adapter detection device is started, the power adapter detection device interrupts the charging operation of the power adapter on the terminal, that is, the terminal is controlled not to be charged temporarily, and then the power adapter detection device detects and obtains the current voltage value of the power adapter.
Of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, the power adapter detecting device may also obtain the voltage value of the power adapter when the power adapter is idle in other manners, for example, manually detect the voltage value of the power adapter when the power adapter is idle, and input the manually detected voltage value of the power adapter when the power adapter is idle to the power adapter detecting device, so that the power adapter detecting device obtains the voltage value of the power adapter when the power adapter is idle. In the embodiment of the invention, the concrete implementation mode of the power adapter detection device for acquiring the voltage value of the power adapter in no-load is not limited.
102. Gradually increasing the load resistance value of the power adapter, and detecting the difference value between the first voltage value and the second voltage value in real time;
the second voltage value is a voltage value of the power adapter detected in real time in a process of increasing a load resistance value of the power adapter.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the load resistance of the power adapter may be realized by a resistance of a built-in sliding rheostat, and in step 102, the power adapter detecting device loads a load resistance to the power adapter and detects a second voltage value (for convenience of description, the second voltage value of the power adapter is described as U below)2) While simultaneously comparing U2The first voltage value obtained in step 102 (for convenience of description, the first voltage value of the power adapter obtained in step 102 will be described as U below1) When U is formed1And U2Difference (for convenience of description, U will be described below)1And U2Is described as Δ U) is greater than a preset voltage threshold value, the load resistance value of the power adapter is gradually increased by adjusting the resistance value of the slide rheostat, and U is detected in real time2While simultaneously comparing U2And U1Until Δ U is not greater than the preset voltage threshold, step 103 is performed.
Optionally, the power adapter detection device loads a load resistance value of 5 ohms to the power adapter first, and then obtains U2And calculating delta U, starting from 5 ohms and gradually increasing the load resistance value of the power adapter by using 2.5 ohms as a step length if the delta U is larger than a preset voltage threshold, and acquiring U after the load resistance value of the power adapter is increased each time2And calculating Δ U, and executing step 103 until Δ U is not greater than the preset voltage threshold. Of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, the power source is adaptedThe load resistance value that the device detection apparatus loads for the power adapter for the first time is not limited to 5 ohms, and the load resistance value that is added for the power adapter each time is not limited to 2.5 ohms.
103. When the difference value between the first voltage value and the second voltage value is not larger than a preset voltage threshold value, recording the current load current value of the power adapter;
in the embodiment of the present invention, when it is detected that the difference between the first voltage value and the second voltage value is not greater than the preset voltage threshold, the power adapter detecting device records the current load current value of the power adapter, and the recorded load current value of the power adapter is the maximum load current value of the power adapter, and a user can obtain the maximum load current value of the power adapter by looking up the load current value recorded by the power adapter detecting device.
Further, in order to facilitate the user to view the result recorded by the power adapter detection apparatus, optionally, after step 103, the power adapter detection apparatus displays the recorded load current value of the power adapter when the difference between the first voltage value and the second voltage value is not greater than the preset voltage threshold.
Optionally, after step 103, the power adapter detecting device compares the load current value of the power adapter recorded in step 103 with a current value required by a battery of a terminal to which the power adapter is connected; and if the load current value of the power adapter recorded in the step 103 is smaller than the current value required by the battery of the terminal, outputting a reminding signal. Specifically, the reminding signal may be one or a combination of two or more of a voice signal, a vibration signal and a text signal.
