Description

Video management information management method, device and system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of multimedia technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a system for managing video management information.
Background
With the development of mobile Internet and mobile terminals, the era of large videos has come, and since OTT (Over the top, cross pass) appeared, the way of entertainment consumption of people is changed by multi-screen service and real-time social media interaction, and traditional video services such as IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) face a severe challenge. IPTV, in the field of communications, refers to providing services including short messages, voice, and even video by means of network services of operators. In the television field, OTT TVs provide television programs to users through the network of an operator. Internationally, OTT TV transmits fusion services such as IP video and Internet application through various network viewing terminals (televisions, computers, pads, smart phones and the like) facing users through public Internet. Therefore, the IPTV is expected to gain better development, and the convergence with the OTT service is imperative. The integration can ensure that the user can enjoy the video service through the set-top box, and can log in and watch the same video content played on the television through the mobile terminal, such as a smart phone, a notebook computer, a digital broadcast receiver, a PDA (personal digital assistant), a PAD (tablet computer), a PMP (portable multimedia player) and other devices.
As shown in fig. 1, the fusion of the existing IPTV service and the OTT service is mainly embodied in that the film sources provided for the mobile terminal 10 and the IPTV set-top box 11 are the same, that is, the video content is provided for the set-top box user and the mobile terminal user through the same video source platform 12, but in terms of management, when the mobile terminal user and the set-top box user are managed, separate platforms, that is, a video management platform 13 and a video management platform 14, are respectively used, and even the two platforms are maintained by different manufacturers. In the aspect of user experience, account numbers used by the same user when watching videos through the IPTV set-top box 11 and the mobile terminal 10 are different, so that there is no other same point in the existing fusion mechanism except the same film source, which causes great inconvenience to the user.
For example, when the user is outside the daytime, the user logs in a corresponding video playing platform through a smart phone of the user to order to watch a video, but the video is not watched completely for some reasons, and the user saves a video bookmark when quitting watching for recording the playing progress of the video, so that the user can directly skip the watched part when watching next time. The user goes home at night and wants to continue watching the video which is not watched by the television, at this time, the user logs in a video playing platform corresponding to the set top box through the set top box account, and although the video watched before can be found on the video playing platform, for the set top box management platform, the user watches the video for the first time, so that the video can be played for the user from the beginning. When a user wants to directly watch the content which is not watched, the user can only manually adjust the video progress bar by the user, the manual adjustment mode cannot be accurate necessarily, and the user experience degree is reduced inevitably due to the problems.
The inconvenience caused to the user by the independent management of the two independent management platforms is that besides the bookmark record can not be synchronized, the video management information of the user such as collection information, watching record and the like is independent and can not be unified. Although it is easy to think of a solution that the set-top box and the mobile terminal use the same video management platform to solve the above problem, this solution means a great change to the existing network, and such a change not only requires a great deal of capital support, but also exposes various services of the existing network to risks, and even causes the user to fail to use various services provided by the existing network normally. Therefore, it is highly desirable to provide a management scheme for video management information, which is used to enable two video management platforms to be fused with each other to improve user experience on the premise that the existing network is not changed as much as possible.

Detailed Description
The following describes embodiments of the present invention in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The first embodiment is as follows:
in this embodiment, the first terminal and the second terminal belong to two different video management platforms, the first terminal is managed by the first video management platform, and the second video management platform completes management of the terminals including the second terminal.
In order to solve the problem that in the prior art, two different video management platforms manage two terminals of a user, and therefore, management information of the two video management platforms is inconsistent, so that services provided for the user when the user watches videos on different terminals are inconsistent, and the user cannot enjoy undifferentiated services, the present embodiment provides a management method of video management information, which can be implemented on a management device of video management information. Please refer to fig. 2:
s202, the management device of the video management information acquires the video management information sent by the first terminal under the first video management platform.
In the present embodiment, the video management information includes video breakpoint information, video viewing record, video collection information, and the like of the user.
The video breakpoint information is viewing progress information recorded for a user when the user quits viewing without completing viewing once when viewing a video, for example, a video is 10 minutes long, the user quits viewing after viewing 5 '37 ", and from practical consideration, when the user clicks to view the video again, the user expects to view the remaining 4' 23" content instead of viewing the video once from the beginning. On the basis, in order to improve user experience, video breakpoint information can be recorded on a video management platform of an IPTV set top box or a video management platform corresponding to a mobile terminal user in OTT service. After recording the breakpoint information of the video, when the user clicks the video again, the video management platform can directly control the content after 5' 37 "is played for the user.
The video watching records are videos watched by a user in a past period, and the video watching records can be used for a video management platform to analyze the preference and habit of the user, so that the same type of video content can be pushed to the user according to the preference and habit of the user. It is understood that the video watching record may be all videos watched during the login process after the user logs in through the first terminal, that is, after the user logs in once, the first terminal sorts all the watching records under the login and then sends the sorted watching records. Or the user can receive the watching record sent by the first terminal after finishing watching one video.
The video collection means that a part of videos are selected from a large number of video sources and stored in a special place, so that a user can easily find the videos. When a user watches a video, the video may be particularly preferred, such as a classic movie, and the user may need to review the video from time to time in daily life, so that the user can collect the video to reduce the time for searching the video in the future. Or the user may be very interested in a video, but since there is not enough time to watch it at the present time, the user may also be able to collect it and watch it again on weekends or other holidays. In addition, some videos may be in a series, and the series may not be updated, such as a series of animations, where one or two albums may be updated every day or every week, and the animation may be collected by the user at this time.
In the conventional management mechanism, the first terminal only needs to send the video management information to the first video management platform for managing the first terminal, but in order to unify the video management information in the first video management platform and the second video management platform, the first terminal also sends the video management information to the management device of the video management information.
Generally, the video management information can at least represent identification information of the first terminal, a name of a video to be managed, and a management type. In order to facilitate the video management platform to manage each terminal, each terminal is usually assigned with corresponding identification information, and the identification information can uniquely identify one terminal. In addition, the "capable of embodying" referred to herein may be that the video management information includes contents such as the identification of the first terminal, the name of the video to be managed, the management type, and the like, or may include partial information thereof, but the management apparatus of the video management information can detect and analyze additional information from the video management information. For example, the video management information includes only the name of the video to be managed "bawang beji" and the management type "favorite", and the management apparatus of the video management information can determine that the transmitting end is the first terminal by analyzing the video management information.
For the video collection information and the video viewing record, the video management information sent to the management device of the video management information may only embody the identifier of the first terminal, the name of the video to be managed, and the management type, but for the video breakpoint information, it should include the breakpoint time in addition to the content of the identifier information of the first terminal, the name of the breakpoint video, the management type, and the like.
S204, the management device of the video management information determines a second terminal related to the first terminal according to the identification information of the first terminal and the pre-stored terminal association relation.
The second terminal may be a plurality of terminals belonging to the same video management platform, for example, there is an IPTV television in the home of a user a, and the user a further has a smart phone, an IPAD, and a notebook computer, where the video management platform for IPTV is separate and has a separate management account. For the smart phone, the IPAD and the notebook computer, because they all belong to the mobile terminal, they are managed by another video management platform.
The management device of the video management information stores the association relationship among the terminals in advance, and the association relationship of the terminals can be established through the request of the user a, for example, the user a can send an association request to the management device of the video management information, and the identification information of the terminal needing to be associated can be generally embodied in the association request. The management device of the video management information can analyze the association request after receiving the association request, acquire the identification information of the two terminals needing to be associated, and then associate and store the two identification information. The process of initiating the association request may be initiated by any one of two or more terminals that need to be associated, for example, in the above example, the association request may be initiated by the user a through a mobile phone thereof, and the association request includes the unique identification number given by the manufacturer when the IPTV set-top box leaves the factory and the mobile phone number of the smart phone. Of course, a plurality of terminals may be associated together in one association request process. Assuming that the association request is initiated by an IPTV set-top box, the association request may include a unique identification number given by a manufacturer when the IPTV set-top box leaves a factory and mobile phone numbers of a plurality of family members, and the management apparatus for video management information may associate the IPTV set-top box with the plurality of mobile phone numbers.
The management device of video management information may be performed in a table format when preserving the association relationship of the terminals, as follows:
TABLE 1
As can be seen from the above table of the association relationship between terminals, there may be a plurality of second terminals associated with the first terminal, and similarly, there may be a plurality of first terminals associated with the second terminal. Meanwhile, the identification information of the terminal may be a telephone number or a Media Access Control (MAC) address of the terminal device, or may be an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number of the terminal.
When the management apparatus of the video management information receives the video management information, the sending end of the video management information, that is, the identification information of the first terminal, may be determined according to the video management information, and then the corresponding second terminal may be found from table 1. It follows that the association between the first terminal and the second terminal should be established in advance, that is, the process of establishing the association between the first terminal and the second terminal should be performed at least before the management apparatus of the video management information determines the second terminal associated with the first terminal.
In addition, besides the establishment of the association relationship, the association relationship of the terminals can be released among the terminals which have established the association relationship, in the process of releasing the association relationship of the terminals, any party with the association relationship of the terminals can initiate an association release request to the management device of the video management information, and after receiving the association release request, the management device of the video management information can delete the association relationship which needs to be released. Assuming that the terminal association is stored in the table, as shown in table 1, when the first terminal having the identification information of IPTV002 issues an association release request, the video management information management apparatus may delete the row corresponding to IPTV002 after receiving the request, thereby completing the release of the association between "IPTV 002" and the first terminal having the identification information of "137 × 5462".
And S206, the management device of the video management information processes the video management information according to the management strategy of the second video management platform for managing the second terminal.
After the management apparatus of the video management information determines the second terminal associated with the first terminal according to the video management information and the pre-stored terminal association relationship, the management apparatus of the video management information may process the video management information sent by the first terminal according to a management policy of the second video management platform on the video management information of the second terminal. For example, if the formats of the video management information in the first video management platform and the second video management platform are different, the video management information transmitted by the first terminal may need to be format-converted. Of course, when the first video management platform manages each terminal therebelow, the identification information of each first terminal is used as a management basis, and the second video management platform manages each terminal therebelow, the identification information of each second terminal is used as a management basis, so although the first terminal and the second terminal are related to each other, the first video management platform and the second video management platform need to ensure the consistency of the video management information, but the consistency does not include the consistency of the identification information, so when the management device of the video management information receives the video management information sent by the first terminal, the most basic processing should be to replace the first terminal identification information corresponding to the video management information with the identification information of the second terminal.
And S208, synchronizing the processed video management information to the second video management platform by the video management information management device.
After the management device of the video management information finishes processing the video management information, the video management information can be sent to the second video management platform, the second video management platform can acquire the relevant condition that a user watches videos on the first terminal which is associated with the second terminal, the video management information generated by the user on the terminals which belong to the two video management platforms is integrated, and more comprehensive services which are closer to the user requirements can be provided for the user.
Under the scheme provided by the embodiment, the video management information of the two video management platforms can be kept consistent, and a cross-platform authentication mechanism can be provided. This mechanism is mainly used in the video ordering of users, for example, when a user B spends money purchasing a newly released movie "XXX" at home through an IPTV set-top box having identification information of "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25", it is understood that a user having identification information of "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has the right to view the movie "XXX" on a video management platform that manages the IPTV. Now, the user cannot view a movie through home IPTV because he is on vacation, and therefore, the user wants to view the movie XXX through his/her mobile phone with the telephone number "136 × 2580". Under the existing management mechanism, a video management platform that manages mobile terminals such as mobile phones does not record information related to the permission of watching movie XXX for mobile phone users with identification information of '136 x 2580', so that when a user lifts a watching request through a mobile phone, authentication failure occurs after the second video management platform authenticates. In practice, user B has purchased the associated rights, and it is now unreasonable for the user to be unable to normally enjoy their rights because the video viewing device used by the user is different. Therefore, the scheme proposed based on this embodiment proposes a cross-platform authentication mechanism, as shown in fig. 3:
s302, the management device of the video management information receives an authentication request initiated by the first video management platform.
Here, the explanation is continued with the above example, that is, the first terminal is a mobile phone whose identification information is "136 × 2580", and the second terminal is an IPTV set-top box whose identification information is "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25". When a user B initiates a watching request to the first video management platform through the mobile phone, the first video management platform fails in authentication, and at this time, the first video management platform does not immediately return failure information to the mobile phone, but sends the authentication request initiated by the first video management platform to a management device of video management information. The authentication request is used to determine whether the mobile phone with identification information "136 x 2580" has the right to view the movie "XXX", and therefore, at least the identification information of the mobile phone and the name of the video to be authenticated, i.e. the name "XXX", should be able to be embodied in the authentication request.
S304, the management device of the video management information determines a second terminal related to the first terminal according to the identification information of the first terminal and the terminal association relation.
This process is consistent with the process in which the video management information management apparatus receives the video management information transmitted by the first terminal, that is, the video management information management apparatus determines whether the first terminal has an associated second terminal according to a terminal association relationship stored in advance, and if so, what is the identification information of the second terminal.
S306, the management device of the video management information processes the authentication request and then sends the authentication request to the second video management platform for authentication.
When it is determined that the first terminal has the associated second terminal and the identification information of the second terminal, the management apparatus for video management information may process the authentication request and then send the authentication request to a second video management platform that manages the second terminal.
It can be understood that, when the management apparatus of the video management information processes the authentication request, the first terminal identification information needs to be replaced by the second terminal identification information, that is, the "136 × 2580" is replaced by the "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25", at this time, the direct function of the authentication information sent to the second video management platform is to determine whether the IPTV set-top box with the identification information "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has the right to view the movie "XXX", and indirectly determine whether the mobile phone with the identification information "136 × 2580" has the right to view by determining whether the IPTV set-top box with the identification information "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has the right to view.
S308, the management device of the video management information receives the authentication result fed back by the second video management platform and sends the authentication result to the first video management platform.
After the second video management platform processes the processed authentication, whether the IPTV set top box with the identification information of 01:01:6D:06: A6:25 has the watching authority or not can be determined, then the second video management platform sends the authentication result to the management device of the video management information, and the management device of the video management information feeds the authentication result back to the first video management platform. The first video management platform can determine whether the movie XXX is sent to the mobile phone user with the identification information of 136 × 2580 "or not according to the result returned by the management device of the video management information, if so, the movie XXX is directly played to the user, and if not, a failure result can be returned to the user to prompt the user to purchase the watching right first.
In the above example, the first video management platform is used to send the authentication request to the management device of the video management information, but it can be understood that if the user B purchases the viewing right through the mobile phone, but now wishes to view the movie through the IPTV, the second video management platform should be used to initiate the authentication request, the process is similar to the above example, and a person skilled in the art can directly derive the process of initiating the authentication request by the second video management platform without any doubt according to the description of the above example, and therefore, the description is omitted here.
According to the management method of the video management information, the video management information of the first terminal which belongs to the first management platform is sent to the second video management platform, so that the video management information is kept synchronous when the two video management platforms which belong to the two different video management platforms manage the two related and related terminals. After video management information generated by two terminals which are subordinate to different video management platforms is integrated, more comprehensive service closer to the requirement of the user can be provided for the user, the effects of seamless service connection and no service difference under the two video management platforms are realized, the user can enjoy the service provided by one video management platform under the management mechanism of the two video management platforms, and the user experience is improved.
Example two:
in the present embodiment, a video management information management apparatus 40 is described with reference to fig. 4:
the management apparatus 40 of video management information includes a receiving module 402, a parsing module 404, a processing module 406, and a transmitting module 408. The receiving module 402 is configured to obtain video management information sent by a first terminal under a first video management platform. The parsing module 404 is configured to determine, by the parsing module 404, a second terminal associated with the first terminal according to the identifier information of the first terminal and a pre-stored terminal association relationship. The processing module 406 is configured to process the video management information according to a management policy of a second video management platform that manages the second terminal. A sending module 408, configured to synchronize the processed video management information to the second video management platform.
In the existing management mechanism, the first terminal only needs to send the video management information to the first video management platform that manages the first terminal, but in order to achieve unification of the video management information in the first video management platform and the second video management platform, the first terminal also sends the video management information to the receiving module 402.
Generally, the video management information can at least represent identification information of the first terminal, a name of a video to be managed, and a management type. In order to facilitate the video management platform to manage each terminal, each terminal is usually assigned with corresponding identification information, and the identification information can uniquely identify one terminal. In addition, the "capable of embodying" mentioned herein may include the identification of the first terminal, the name of the video to be managed, the management type, and the like in the video management information, or may include part of the information therein, but the receiving module 402 can detect and analyze additional information from the video management information. For example, only the name of the video to be managed "bawang beji" and the management type "favorite" are included in the video management information, and the receiving module 402 can determine that the transmitting end is the first terminal by analyzing the video management information.
For the video collection information and the video viewing record, the video management information sent to the receiving module 402 may only embody the identifier of the first terminal, the name of the video to be managed, and the management type, but for the video breakpoint information, it should also include the breakpoint time, in addition to the content of the identifier information of the first terminal, the name of the breakpoint video, the management type, and the like.
Another management apparatus 40 for video management information proposed in this embodiment includes a storage module 410 in addition to the receiving module 402, the analyzing module 404, the processing module 406, and the sending module 408, where the storage module 410 stores in advance an association relationship between terminals, and this association relationship between terminals may be established by a request of the user a, for example, the user a may send an association request to the receiving module 402, and identification information of a terminal that needs to be associated may be generally embodied in the association request. After the receiving module 402 receives the association request, the parsing module 404 may parse the association request to obtain the identification information of the two terminals that need to be associated, and then the storage module 410 associates and stores the two identification information. Assuming that the association request is initiated by an IPTV set-top box, the association request may include a unique identification number given by a factory when the IPTV set-top box leaves a factory and mobile phone numbers of a plurality of family members, and the storage module 410 may associate the IPTV set-top box with the plurality of mobile phone numbers.
As can be seen from the above table of the association relationship between terminals, there may be a plurality of second terminals associated with the first terminal, and similarly, there may be a plurality of first terminals associated with the second terminal. Meanwhile, the identification information of the terminal may be a telephone number or a MAC address of the terminal device, or may be an IMEI number of the terminal.
When the receiving module 402 receives the video management information, it may determine the sending end of the video management information, that is, the identification information of the first terminal, according to the video management information, and then find out the corresponding second terminal from table 1. It can be seen that the association between the first terminal and the second terminal should be established in advance, that is, the process of establishing the association between the first terminal and the second terminal should be performed at least before the parsing module 404 determines the second terminal associated with the first terminal.
In addition, besides establishing the association relationship, the association relationship between the terminals that have established the association relationship may also be released, in the process of releasing the association relationship between the terminals, any party having the association relationship between the terminals may initiate an association release request to the receiving module 402, and after the receiving module 402 receives the association release request, the storage module 410 may delete the association relationship that needs to be released. Assuming that the association relationship between the terminals is stored in the table, as shown in table 1, when the first terminal having the identification information of IPTV002 initiates a request for disassociation, the storage module 410 may delete the row corresponding to IPTV002 after the receiving module 402 receives the request, thereby completing disassociation between "IPTV 002" and the first terminal having the identification information of "137 × 5462".
After the parsing module 404 determines a second terminal associated with the first terminal according to the video management information and a pre-stored terminal association relationship, the processing module 406 may process the video management information sent by the first terminal according to a management policy of the second video management platform on the video management information of the second terminal. For example, if the formats of the video management information in the first video management platform and the second video management platform are different, the video management information transmitted by the first terminal may need to be format-converted. Of course, when the first video management platform manages each terminal therebelow, the identification information of each first terminal is used as a management basis, and the second video management platform manages each terminal therebelow, the identification information of each second terminal is used as a management basis, so although the first terminal and the second terminal are associated with each other, the first video management platform and the second video management platform need to ensure the consistency of the video management information, but the consistency does not include the consistency of the identification information, so when the processing module 406 receives the video management information sent by the first terminal, the most basic processing should be to replace the first terminal identification information corresponding to the video management information with the identification information of the second terminal.
After the processing module 406 completes processing of the video management information, the sending module 408 may send the video management information to the second video management platform, so that the second video management platform obtains the relevant situation that the user watches the video on the first terminal associated with the second terminal, and synthesizes the video management information generated by the user on the terminals belonging to the two video management platforms, thereby providing a more comprehensive service closer to the user requirement for the user.
Therefore, the scheme proposed based on this embodiment proposes a cross-platform authentication mechanism:
here, the explanation is continued with the above example, that is, the first terminal is a mobile phone whose identification information is "136 × 2580", and the second terminal is an IPTV set-top box whose identification information is "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25". When a user B initiates a viewing request to the first video management platform through the mobile phone, the first video management platform fails in authentication, and at this time, the first video management platform does not immediately return failure information to the mobile phone, but sends the authentication request initiated by the first video management platform to the receiving module 402.
The parsing module 404 determines a second terminal associated with the first terminal according to the identification information of the first terminal and the terminal association relationship.
This process is consistent with the process in which the parsing module 404 receives the video management information sent by the first terminal, that is, the parsing module 404 determines whether the first terminal has an associated second terminal according to a pre-stored terminal association relationship, and if so, what the identification information of the second terminal is.
After determining that the first terminal has the associated second terminal and the identification information of the second terminal, the sending module 408 may process the authentication request and send the processed authentication request to a second video management platform that manages the second terminal.
It is understood that, when the processing module 406 processes the authentication request, it is necessary to replace the first terminal identification information with the second terminal identification information, that is, "136 × 2580" with "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25", at this time, the direct function of the authentication information sent to the second video management platform is to determine whether the set top box IPTV with the identification information "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has the right to view the movie XXX, and indirectly determine whether the mobile phone with the identification information "136 × 2580" has the right to view by determining whether the set top box IPTV with the identification information "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has the right to view.
The receiving module 402 is further configured to receive an authentication result fed back by the second video management platform and send the authentication result to the first video management platform.
After the second video management platform processes the processed authentication, it can be determined whether the IPTV set-top box with identification information of "01: 01:6D:06: a6: 25" has a viewing right, then the second video management platform sends the authentication result to the receiving module 402, and the sending module 408 feeds back the authentication result to the first video management platform. The first video management platform may determine, according to the result returned by the sending module 408, whether the movie "XXX" should be delivered to the mobile phone user with the identification information "136 × 2580", and if so, directly play the movie "XXX" to the user, and if not, may return a failure result to the user to prompt the user to purchase the viewing right first.
In the above example, the first video management platform is used to send the authentication request to the management apparatus 40 for video management information, but it can be understood that if the user B purchases the viewing right through the mobile phone, but now wants to view the movie through IPTV, the second video management platform should be used to initiate the authentication request, the process is similar to the above example, and those skilled in the art can directly derive the process of initiating the authentication request by the second video management platform without any doubt according to the description of the above example, and therefore, the description is omitted here.
As shown in fig. 6, this embodiment further provides a management system 6 of video management information, the management system 6 of video management information at least includes a first video management platform 61, a second video management platform 62, and a first terminal 63 and a second terminal 64, and the composition relationship between the first video management platform 61, the second video management platform 62, and the first terminal 63 and the second terminal 64 is similar to that in the prior art, besides, the management system 6 of video management information further includes a management apparatus 40 of video management information provided in this embodiment.
After a user requests a video on the first terminal 63, the first terminal 63 sends a play request to the first video management platform 61, the first video management platform 61 queries whether video breakpoint information for the requested video exists under the platform, if so, the first terminal 63 is controlled to directly play the video to the user from the breakpoint moment recorded in the video breakpoint information, otherwise, the video is played from the beginning. The video breakpoint information on the first video management platform 61 can be directly sent to it by the first terminal 63, or can be synchronized from the second terminal 66 by the management apparatus 40 of the video management information. After the user collects the requested video on the first terminal 63, the first terminal 63 transmits the same video collection information to the video management information management device 40 in addition to the video collection information to the first video management platform 61, and the video management information management device 40 synchronizes the video collection information to the second video management platform 62.
