Abstract

Light source of side light type backlight unit includes: the light emitting device comprises a flexible circuit board and a plurality of light emitting units, wherein the light emitting units are arranged on the flexible circuit board along a first direction; the light-emitting unit comprises a first surface, a second surface fixed with the flexible circuit board and a third surface arranged opposite to the second surface, wherein the first surface is adjacent to the second surface and the third surface respectively, and the first surface is a light-emitting surface of the light-emitting unit; the plurality of light emitting units include a first light emitting unit in which the second surface and the third surface are curved surfaces. The light source of the side-light type backlight module comprises a first light-emitting unit which is integrally of an arc-shaped structure, the first light-emitting unit is matched with an arc-shaped light guide plate with a bent part with the same radian to form the backlight module, and the arc-shaped light guide plate can completely cover the light-emitting surface of the first light-emitting unit, so that the problem of light leakage of the arc-shaped backlight module is solved.

according to the light source of the side-light type backlight module, the plurality of light emitting units comprise the first light emitting unit which is integrally in an arc-shaped structure, the first light emitting unit is matched with the arc-shaped light guide plate with the same radian and the bent part to form the backlight module, the arc-shaped light guide plate can completely cover the light emitting surface of the first light emitting unit, the matching degree of the light emitting unit and the light guide plate is good, so that the problem of light leakage of the arc-shaped backlight module with the bent part is solved, meanwhile, the light source of the side-light type backlight module provided by the embodiment can adapt to different radian requirements of the curved surface light guide plate, the curved surface light guide plate can be more easily adapted to a special-shaped.

Claims (8)
1. A light source of side-light type backlight module is characterized in that,
the light source includes: the light emitting device comprises a flexible circuit board and a plurality of light emitting units, wherein the light emitting units are arranged on the flexible circuit board along a first direction;
in the first direction, the flexible circuit board comprises a first subsection and a second subsection;
the flexible circuit board comprises two first subsections and one second subsection, and the second subsection is located between the two first subsections in the first direction; the light emitting unit comprises a first surface, a second surface fixed with the flexible circuit board and a third surface arranged opposite to the second surface, wherein the first surface is adjacent to the second surface and the third surface respectively, and the first surface is a light emitting surface of the light emitting unit;
the plurality of light emitting units comprise a plurality of first light emitting units and a plurality of second light emitting units, the first light emitting units are positioned in the first sub-part, and the second light emitting units are positioned in the second sub-part;
in the first light emitting unit, the first surface is a plane, and the second surface and the third surface are curved surfaces;
the degree of curvature of the second surface of each of the first light emitting units in the two first subsections is the same;
in the second light emitting unit, the second surface and the third surface are planes parallel to each other.
2. The light source of the edge-lit backlight module of claim 1,
in the first light emitting unit, the second surface and the third surface are parallel curved surfaces.
3. The light source of the edge-type backlight module according to claim 1, wherein in the first light-emitting unit, the second surface and the third surface are both curved to two sides oppositely arranged along the first direction, and the development figures of the second surface and the third surface are rectangular.
4. The light source of claim 3, wherein the radius of curvature at each point on the intersection of the plane parallel to the first surface and the second and third surfaces is equal.
5. The light source of the edge-lit backlight module of claim 1, wherein the light emitting units are LEDs.
6. A side-light type backlight module comprises a light source and a light guide plate, wherein the light source is arranged at a first side of the light guide plate,
the light source is the light source of the edge-lit backlight module set forth in any one of claims 1-5;
the light guide plate includes a curved portion curved to a second side of the light guide plate, the first light emitting unit in the light source is disposed corresponding to the curved portion, and a degree of curvature of the second surface and a degree of curvature of the third surface of the first light emitting unit are the same as a degree of curvature of the curved portion, wherein the second side of the light guide plate is disposed adjacent to the first side of the light guide plate.
7. The edge-lit backlight module of claim 6, wherein the light guide plate comprises a flat plate portion and two curved portions, the flat plate portion is located between the two curved portions, and the second light-emitting units in the light source are disposed corresponding to the flat plate portion.
8. A display panel comprising the edge-lit backlight module of claim 6 or 7.
