Detailed Description
Various exemplary embodiments, features and aspects of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, like reference numbers can indicate functionally identical or similar elements. While the various aspects of the embodiments are presented in drawings, the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale unless specifically indicated.
The word "exemplary" is used exclusively herein to mean "serving as an example, embodiment, or illustration. Any embodiment described herein as "exemplary" is not necessarily to be construed as preferred or advantageous over other embodiments.
Furthermore, in the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present disclosure. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present disclosure may be practiced without some of these specific details. In some instances, methods, means, elements and circuits that are well known to those skilled in the art have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the present disclosure.
Example 1
Fig. 1 illustrates a flowchart of a search result display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, which may be applied to a terminal device, such as a computer, a mobile terminal, and the like. As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
step S11, sending a search request for the multimedia resource to the server;
step S12, receiving a search result returned by the server in response to the search request;
step S13, adjusting an item list of a display page corresponding to the search result according to the user viewing progress corresponding to the multimedia resource in the search result, so as to display the item of the multimedia resource corresponding to the user viewing progress;
in step S14, the adjusted display page is displayed.
The item list of the display page of the search result is adjusted through the user viewing progress to display the items of the multimedia resources corresponding to the user viewing progress.
Fig. 2 illustrates a schematic diagram of a search result display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, for example, taking a video client as an example, when a user wants to obtain a video resource through the video client on a terminal device, the user may trigger a search through a search interface of the video client to search for the corresponding video resource, for example, a keyword may be input to search or a search history may be directly clicked to trigger the search to search for the corresponding video resource. The video client sends a search request aiming at multimedia (such as the video mentioned above) resources to a server according to the input or triggering operation of a user, wherein the search request can comprise search keywords, user characteristic information and other information, the server responds to the search request and searches video resources matched with the search keywords according to the search request to serve as search results to be returned to the video client, and the video client receives the search results returned by the server in response to the search request. The user characteristic information may be any information uniquely identifying the user, for example, account information of the user logging in the client, and the like, and in an application scenario where the user does not log in the client, the user characteristic information may also be information such as an identifier of the terminal device.
In a possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 2, the video client may further obtain a corresponding user viewing progress according to the search result, for example, the user viewing progress may be obtained from a user viewing progress stored locally by the video client, or may be obtained by the server. For example, the client locally stores the user viewing progress in association with user characteristic information and multimedia characteristic information, where the multimedia characteristic information may be any information capable of uniquely identifying the multimedia resource, such as multimedia resource name, ID, and the like. For example, information such as "user a, best-before family, 2 nd set" may be saved. The user watching progress corresponding to the user characteristic information can be obtained according to the multimedia characteristic information contained in the search result, for example, the user watching progress of the user A watching the video corresponding to the video name is obtained according to the video name contained in the search result, the item list of the display page corresponding to the search result is adjusted according to the user watching progress so as to display the items of the multimedia resources corresponding to the user watching progress, wherein the items can be episodes of a television play, tracks of singer albums and the like, and the adjusted display page is displayed.
It should be noted that, although the search result display method is described above by taking a video client as an example, those skilled in the art can understand that the present disclosure should not be limited thereto. It may also be applied to audio clients, or to web searches, for example.
Fig. 3 shows a flowchart of the step S13 method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in figure 3 of the drawings,
in a possible implementation manner, in step S13, the adjusting the item list of the display page corresponding to the search result may include:
step S131, starting from the item of the multimedia resource corresponding to the user watching progress, displaying the items after the item corresponding to the user watching progress in sequence.
Fig. 4 illustrates a schematic diagram of a search result display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 4, for example, when the user watches "junior maiden house", and sees the episode 2 at the last watching, the episode list in the display page corresponding to the search result may be adjusted, and the episodes after the episode 2 are sequentially displayed from the episode 2. Therefore, when the user watches, the user can directly select the item corresponding to the watching progress of the user to start watching, the operation is simple, and the use experience of the user is improved.
In the related art, if the display interface corresponding to the search result is not adjusted as described above, the user needs to perform unnecessary operations when viewing next time, which affects the user experience. For example, fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a search result display method according to the related art, and as shown in fig. 5, a list of episodes in a display page corresponding to a search result is displayed starting from episode 1, and no corresponding operation control is displayed in episodes 3 to 28. Thus, when the user views a certain episode from episode 3 to episode 28, say, episode 5, the user wants to view the episode from episode 5 and must first trigger the selection button on the right side of the episode list to display the entire episode list, which causes inconvenience to the user and affects the user experience. In contrast, according to the search result display method of the above embodiment of the present disclosure, the user may directly select the episode watched last time or the episode thereafter for watching without triggering the selection button, thereby improving the user experience.
It should be understood by those skilled in the art that the manner of adjusting the display page is not limited to the above, and for example, the items before the item of the multimedia asset corresponding to the user viewing progress (for example, the already viewed episode) and the items after the item of the multimedia asset corresponding to the user viewing progress (for example, the currently viewed episode and the non-viewed episode) may be displayed separately in different item lists, and the above effects may also be achieved. Still taking the scenario shown in fig. 4 as an example, if the user sees episode 2 when watching the first time, the episode list in the display page corresponding to the search result may be adjusted, in the first item list, episodes after episode 2 are displayed in sequence from episode 2, and in the second item list separated from the first item list, episode 1 is displayed. Therefore, when the user watches, the user can directly select the item corresponding to the watching progress of the user in the first item list to start watching, and can also repeatedly watch the watched item in the second item list, so that the operation is simple, and the use experience of the user is improved.
In a possible implementation manner, the adjusting the display page corresponding to the search result in step S13 may further include:
and step S132, displaying the watching progress of the user on a display page corresponding to the search result.
As shown in fig. 4, the user viewing progress may be displayed at a suitable position on a display page corresponding to the search result, for example, "viewed to 2 episodes" is displayed at the episode information of the video introduction part, and may also be displayed at other suitable positions on the display page, which is not limited by the present disclosure. The watching progress of the user can be prompted by displaying the watching progress of the user, so that the user can conveniently watch the episode watched before, repeated watching is avoided, and the use experience of the user is improved.
Fig. 6 illustrates a flowchart of a search result display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 6, the method further comprises:
and step S15, recording the user viewing progress, and storing the user viewing progress in association with the user characteristic information and the multimedia resource characteristic information.
For example, as shown in fig. 2, a video client or a video site (video website) may record a user viewing progress according to a user operation (e.g., quit the client, pause viewing, etc.), for example, record the viewing progress of the video through a player, and store the user viewing progress in association with user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information. Taking a video client as an example, the content association can be stored locally or the locally stored association content can be updated so that the user watching progress related to the user and the video can be obtained when the same user watches the same series of videos for the next time, thereby adjusting the display interface corresponding to the search result and improving the user experience.
Fig. 7 illustrates a flowchart of a search result display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the method further comprises:
and step S16, uploading the user viewing progress and the associated user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information to the server.
Under the condition that a user watches the video through the video client, the video client can also upload the watching progress of the user and the associated user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information to the server, and the user characteristic information and the associated multimedia resource characteristic information are stored or updated by the server; similarly, when the user watches the video through the video website, the video website can also upload the user watching progress and the associated user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information to the server, and the user watching progress and the associated user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information are stored or updated by the server.
Therefore, the server synchronizes the user watching progress and the associated user characteristic information and multimedia resource characteristic information, when the same user watches the same series of videos in different modes (client, website or through different terminals), the latest user watching progress can be obtained, the display page corresponding to the search result is adjusted according to the user watching progress, and the adjusted display page is displayed to improve the user experience.
In one possible embodiment, an album control may be displayed in the adjusted display page, and in response to a trigger to the album control, all items of the multimedia asset (e.g., all television episodes) may be displayed for selection by the user, i.e., the user may also choose to view the already viewed items again.
