Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for managing a user terminal of an EoC network. The management method comprises the following steps: the EoC terminal receives an ARP message of a user terminal; analyzing the ARP message to obtain the IP and mac of the user terminal; generating a discovery message to an EoC local side according to the IP and mac of the user terminal; and the EoC local side receives the discovery message to generate a network topology table, and manages the user terminal according to the network topology table. The invention has the beneficial effects that: the method and the system for managing the user terminal solve the technical problem that only the EoC terminal can be managed on the EoC local side but the user terminal cannot be managed in the prior art, and realize the unified management of the user terminal of the whole EoC network on the WEB interface of the EoC local side equipment by generating the network topology table.

User terminal management method and system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for managing a user terminal of an EoC network.
Background
A Coaxial cable network in an HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) network is one of ideal data transmission media, and the broadband hijacking capability of the network is far higher than that of a five-type line or telephone line resource especially in the last hundred meters. In addition, in consideration of the cost, the construction period and the expansibility thereof, which are required for network modification, the modification of the bidirectional network (EoC) using the existing coaxial cable is the first preferred solution.
The EoC technology uses a point-to-multipoint user network topology, and uses the original coaxial cable to realize the full service access of data, voice and video. A typical EoC system consists of EoC local side, EoC terminal, user terminal, coaxial distribution network, etc. The EoC local side is generally arranged at the position of an optical node and plays roles of distributing upper-layer Ethernet data and converging terminal equipment; the EoC terminal is placed in a user home and used as a home CPE to access a user terminal (a computer, a mobile phone, a Pad, an interactive set top box and the like); coaxial distribution networks are networks from CATV optical node locations to the subscriber premises and include active amplifiers, EoC jumpers, branch splitters, and the like, in addition to coaxial cables.
At present, only an EoC terminal can be managed on an EoC office side, but a user terminal cannot be managed. As shown in the schematic diagram of the EoC network architecture depicted in fig. 1, if a specific ue is to be managed (e.g., QoS is configured), the ue needs to log in the EoC terminals one by one, check and confirm which EoC terminal the ue is under, and then operate on the corresponding EoC terminal, which wastes a lot of time and effort.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a method and a system for managing a user terminal, which realize that an EoC local side manages any specific user terminal of the whole EoC network.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that: a management method of a user terminal is provided, the management method comprising:
the EoC terminal receives an ARP message of a user terminal;
analyzing the ARP message to obtain the IP and mac of the user terminal;
generating a discovery message to an EoC local side according to the IP and mac of the user terminal;
and the EoC local side receives the discovery message to generate a network topology table, and manages the user terminal according to the network topology table.
Another technical solution provided by the present invention is to provide a management system for a user terminal, including:
the receiving module is used for receiving the ARP message of the user terminal;
the acquisition module is used for analyzing the ARP message and acquiring the IP and mac of the user terminal;
a generating module, configured to generate a discovery message according to the IP and mac of the user terminal and send the discovery message to the EoC local side;
and the generation management module is used for receiving the discovery message, generating a network topology table and managing the user terminal according to the network topology table.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the method and the system for managing the user terminal solve the technical problem that only the EoC terminal can be managed on the EoC local side but the user terminal cannot be managed in the prior art, and realize the unified management of the user terminal of the whole EoC network on the WEB interface of the EoC local side equipment by generating the network topology table.
