Description

Virtual role team control method and device
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of human-computer interaction technologies, and in particular, to a virtual character team control method and a virtual character team control device.
Background
With the rapid development of communication technology, more and more game applications are emerging on various terminal devices. In the running process of the game application, the terminal equipment displays various game objects according to a certain layout so as to present a game operation interface to a player.
There is often a need for teaming in parts of gaming applications, such as online role-playing games. There are generally two ways to complete the team: the player creates a new team by himself, and the team formation is completed by pulling in a new team member; alternatively, the player joins an existing team to complete the team. For the latter mode, the player needs to inform the captain of his own desire to group, and the captain joins the player into the group, and in this process, there is interaction of seeking group, and how to simply and accurately complete the operation of seeking group is the key of the whole process.
As shown in fig. 1A, a player first clicks a captain of a team to be joined (a different game may be a left or right mouse button), pops up a personal information menu bar 110 of the captain, and finds a group seeking option to issue a group seeking intention, such as "apply for enqueue", "team", "seek group", and the like, thereby completing a group seeking interaction process.
The main problem of the team formation method is that after the player clicks the team leader, the player needs to browse the options related to the team formation in the personal information menu bar 110 of the team leader, but in general game applications, the options contained in the personal information menu bar 110 are many and can only be distinguished through characters, and the small click area of a single option also increases difficulty and is easy to miss for the player to click the item of the team formation option.
One conventional way of group request interaction is shown in fig. 1B, that is, a dedicated team panel is provided in the game application, and the player may open the team panel 120 to find an existing team, find a team to be requested for enqueueing among the teams listed in the team panel 120, click a group request option, such as "request for enqueueing", and send a group request.
Although the team organizing mode scheme can make a customized design for team organizing buttons by using the team organizing panel 120, the problem that a player finds a group seeking option among a plurality of options is greatly reduced, the team organizing panel 120 can block a game scene, the player is difficult to match with the teams in the scene in the process of browsing the teams, and whether the teams are correctly selected needs to be determined by reading text information. In addition, when there are more teams in the team organizing panel 120, the players can only search through the characters, which is inefficient. In addition, a request needs to be sent to the server while the team panel is opened, and a click request needs to be sent again when being enqueued, so that the operation overhead is increased.
It is to be noted that the information disclosed in the above background section is only for enhancement of understanding of the background of the present disclosure, and thus may include information that does not constitute prior art known to those of ordinary skill in the art.

One skilled in the relevant art will recognize, however, that the subject matter of the present disclosure can be practiced without one or more of the specific details, or with other methods, components, devices, steps, and the like. In other instances, well-known technical solutions have not been shown or described in detail to avoid obscuring aspects of the present disclosure.
Furthermore, the drawings are merely schematic illustrations of the present disclosure and are not necessarily drawn to scale. The same reference numerals in the drawings denote the same or similar parts, and thus their repetitive description will be omitted. Some of the block diagrams shown in the figures are functional entities and do not necessarily correspond to physically or logically separate entities. These functional entities may be implemented in the form of software, or in one or more hardware modules or integrated circuits, or in different networks and/or processor devices and/or microcontroller devices.
The present exemplary embodiment first provides a virtual role team control method, which can be applied to a terminal device. The touch device may be, for example, a PC terminal such as a notebook computer and a desktop computer, or various mobile terminals having a touch screen such as a mobile phone, a tablet PC game machine, and a PDA. Referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3A to 3C, the virtual character team control method may include the steps of:
s1, displaying an operation interface, wherein the operation interface at least comprises interaction elements and scene elements.
Referring to fig. 3A, the game application controls the display screen to display the game operation interface 10 through an Application Program Interface (API) of the terminal device, and the operation interface 10 in the present exemplary embodiment may be the entire displayable area of the display screen, i.e., full screen display; or may be a partially displayable area of the display screen, i.e., a window display. The operation interface 10 may include various control buttons, various message panels, message input fields, various information panels, and other interactive elements 101, and may further include scene elements such as a virtual environment, a self avatar 102, another avatar 103, and team logo 104; of course, the interactive element 101 may also include other interactive elements such as a character avatar, a small map, and the scene elements may also include other scene elements such as an NPC (Non-player character) and a character identifier, and are not limited to the types illustrated in the exemplary embodiment.
And S2, receiving a team forming instruction and responding to the team forming instruction to enter a team forming mode.
In this exemplary embodiment, the team formation instruction may be issued in various manners, such as by a shortcut key (or a combination key), by a mouse click, or by a touch input, and so on. Taking a shortcut key (or combination key) manner as an example, a keyboard input event can be received, and when the keyboard input event is judged to accord with a preset rule, the team formation instruction is determined to be received; for example, upon receiving the combination key ALT + T, if the player is not in the team, the gaming application will enter a team mode; if the player is already on the team, the team panel may be opened or the player may be prompted to be already on the team. Taking a mouse click mode as an example, a mouse input event can be received, and when the mouse input event is judged to be a click on a preset interactive element 101, the team formation instruction is determined to be received; for example, the operation interface has a team button, and the game application enters a team mode after the player clicks the team button. Taking a touch input manner as an example, a touch input event may be received, and when it is determined that the touch input event is triggering a preset interaction control, it is determined that the team formation instruction is received.
And S3, displaying the scene elements in the operation interface and hiding the interactive elements 101 in the team forming mode.
Referring to fig. 3B, in the team mode, in the present exemplary embodiment, interactive elements 101 such as various control buttons, various message panels, message input fields, and various information panels in the game operation interface are hidden; for example, in the team mode, the gaming application stops the rendering of the UI layer, i.e., hides the interactive element 101. However, in the team mode, the scene elements such as the virtual environment, the own avatar 102, the other avatar 103, and the team logo 104 will remain displayed, and thus the operation of the scene elements by the player can be facilitated.
And S4, receiving an input event, judging the scene element acted by the input event, and controlling the team formation of the own virtual role 102 according to the scene element acted by the input event. For example, in team mode, it is detected which scene element was clicked by the mouse, so that the creation team of the own avatar 102 or the joining of other teams can be controlled in response to the mouse click event.
By the virtual character team formation control method in the present exemplary embodiment, the interactive element 101 irrelevant to team formation operation in the operation interface is hidden, and the operation such as clicking of the scene element reserved for display by the player is responded to, so as to realize the team formation of the virtual character, on one hand, the operation steps required by the virtual character team formation are greatly reduced, and the learning and using costs for the player are low, so that the process of the virtual character team formation is simplified; on the other hand, compared with browsing and finding a grouping button in a large stack of functional keys of a captain personal information panel, the virtual character grouping control method in the exemplary embodiment removes visual interference to a player after entering a grouping mode, so that difficulty of virtual character grouping can be reduced, and misoperation of the player is greatly reduced; on the other hand, in the whole team forming process, only the last step needs to transmit the team forming request of the player through the server, compared with the prior art that the request for the server is less by reading the personal information of the team leader or using a team forming panel and the like, the server overhead can be reduced.
The present exemplary embodiment further illustrates the team control of the virtual character according to the scene element acted by the input event. For example:
when the input event acts on the host virtual character 102, for example, in a team formation mode, a player clicks the host virtual character 102 with a mouse, a team can be created for the team leader by the host virtual character 102, and after the player creates the team, the team formation mode is exited, and the operation returns to a normal operation interface.
When the input event acts on the other virtual character 103, for example, in a team formation mode, a player mouse clicks the other virtual character 103, and it may be determined whether the other virtual character 103 clicked by the player is already in a team:
if the other virtual character 103 is determined to be in a team, it may be determined whether the team in which the other virtual character 103 is located is full of people, for example, whether the team is full of 5 people; when judging that the team of the other virtual character 103 is not full of members, sending an enqueue request to the team leader of the team of the other virtual character 103; and after sending the enqueuing request, exiting the queuing mode and recovering to a normal operation interface.
If the other virtual character 103 is not in the team, the team can be created for the team leader by the own virtual character 102 and a team invitation is sent to the other virtual character 103; and after sending the team organizing invitation, exiting the team organizing mode and recovering to a normal operation interface. Alternatively, the player may be prompted that the other virtual character 103 is not in the team, and wait for further operations of the player without exiting the team formation mode.
When the input event is applied to the team logo 104, for example, when a player clicks the team logo 104 with a mouse in a team mode, it is determined whether the team associated with the team logo 104 is full, and when the team associated with the team logo 104 is not full, an enqueue request is sent to the team leader of the team corresponding to the team logo 104, and after the enqueue request is sent, the team mode is exited and the normal operation interface is recovered. When the team identifies 104 the associated team member, the player may be prompted that the team member is full and not exit the team mode awaiting further operation by the player.
In this example embodiment, the team identifier 104 may be, for example, a team token floating at the head of the captain for identifying a team and facilitating team operations; the team token and the team leader have fixed position offset, and when the position of the team leader changes, the team token also changes along with the position of the team leader so as to be always at the head of the team leader. Typically, a team has only one team leader, so a team has and only one team token. In this example embodiment, the team token is a scene element with a higher hierarchy so that it is not occluded by other scene elements. For example:
the position relation of scene elements in a game scene can be represented by three parameters of x, y and z; where x, y represent the planar coordinates of the scene element and z represents the hierarchy of the scene element in the game scene. Whereas a z-element of a team token is a relatively large (high-level) scene element. Each scene element determines the shielding relation through a preset sequencing mode, so that the team token can be displayed through the scene elements such as trees and buildings. However, it is easily understood by those skilled in the art that the team logo 104 may be other types of logos such as flags and text logos, which are not particularly limited in the exemplary embodiment.
The team mode may be exited when the input event is applied to the virtual environment, for example, when a player mouse clicks on a scene element such as the ground, sky, trees, or buildings in the virtual environment, for example, in the team mode. However, in other exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the player may control the movement of the own virtual character 102 when clicking the virtual environment with a mouse, and exit the team formation mode only when clicking on the right or otherwise, and thus the present disclosure is not limited to the exemplary embodiments.
Further, referring to fig. 4, fig. 3B, and fig. 3C, in this example embodiment, the method for controlling a virtual role team may further include:
s5, detecting the position of a mouse cursor in the team forming mode; controlling the mouse cursor to appear in a first state, such as a cursor of a flag mark guiding a player to group as shown in fig. 3B, when the mouse cursor moves to the own avatar 102, the other avatar 103, and the team mark 104; and when the mouse cursor moves to the virtual environment, controlling the mouse cursor to be in a second state, such as a mark-prohibited cursor shown in fig. 3C, prompting the player to avoid clicking as much as possible, and avoiding exiting the team organizing mode.
The visual feedback is utilized to guide the player to perform the correct team forming operation through the step S5, so that the efficiency of team forming of the player is improved, and the learning cost of the player can be reduced. In other exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the player may be guided to perform the correct team formation operation through other visual feedback manners, for example, the captain of the team without a full member or the highlight of the team identification may guide the player to click on joining the team, and the like.
Further, the present exemplary embodiment provides a virtual role team control apparatus, which is applied to a touch device.
