Description

Outdoor unit of air conditioner
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner.
Background
Patent document 1 discloses an outdoor unit of a conventional air conditioner. The outdoor unit includes a heat exchanger and a blower disposed in a casing, and is driven by the blower to blow out outside air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger from a blow-out port provided in a front surface of the casing. In addition, an electrical installation box is arranged in the box body, and the electrical installation box is used for accommodating a circuit board electrically connected with the air blower. The air in the electric installation box is exhausted to the side of the air blower by the suction generated by the driving of the air blower, and cools the heating components installed on the circuit substrate.
The heat exchanger is provided upright in the tank with a holding plate that integrally holds refrigerant tubes arranged in parallel in the vertical direction by serpentine bending by end portions. At this time, the heat exchanger is fixed in the box body by fixing the holding plate and the peripheral wall of the electrical installation box with screws.
Patent document 1: japanese patent laid-open publication No. 2011-
According to the conventional outdoor unit described above, when strong wind pressure is applied to the outlet port of the casing, raindrops may enter the casing from the outlet port. In this case, there is a problem that raindrops caused by the airflow enter the electric installation box, and the electric system of the circuit board is broken down.
Further, the heat exchanger has a problem that the refrigerant pipe is bent and housed in the case, and the refrigerant pipe is easily deformed during assembly work, so that it is difficult to align the screw holes of the electric installation case and the heat exchanger, and thus the assembly workability is lowered.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner capable of effectively cooling a circuit board housed therein and preventing raindrops from entering an electrical box.
In view of the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner that improves workability in assembling a heat exchanger and an electrical box.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, in which a blower and an electrical installation box that houses a circuit board connected to the blower and discharges air in the electrical installation box through an exhaust duct by suction generated by driving of the blower are disposed in a casing, the exhaust duct including: a first passage extending in an up-down direction, formed on an end portion in a left-right direction of the electric installation box, and having an outflow port facing inside the electric installation box at an upper end; and a second passage extending in the left-right direction, having an exhaust port facing a blower chamber in which the blower is disposed, the first passage and the second passage being communicated through a communication port formed in a lower portion of a peripheral wall of the first passage, the exhaust port being disposed above the communication port and further away from the blower than the outlet port.
In the outdoor unit of an air conditioner having the above configuration, the discharge ducts are provided at both front and rear ends of the electrical installation box, and the discharge port is disposed further outward in the direction of the rotation axis of the fan blade than the front and rear ends of the fan blade.
In the outdoor unit of an air conditioner having the above configuration, the discharge port is provided with a shielding portion for shielding the blower side.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, comprising: the outdoor unit of the air conditioner includes a heat exchanger, a compressor, a blower, and an electrical installation box, the electrical installation box accommodating a circuit board connected to the compressor and the blower, the heat exchanger being provided upright in the box body and having a holding plate integrally holding refrigerant pipes arranged in parallel in an up-down direction by serpentine bending at an end portion, the holding plate having a flat portion fixing the refrigerant pipes and a bent portion bent in an L-shape from one end of the flat portion, the electrical installation box being disposed at an upper portion of the box body and provided with a protruding portion protruding from a peripheral wall, the protruding portion including: a groove portion extending in the vertical direction and fitted to the flat portion; and an engaging portion engaged with the bent portion.
In the outdoor unit of an air conditioner having the above configuration, a lower end of at least one side wall of the groove portion is formed by an inclined surface.
According to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner of the present invention, since the air outlet is disposed further away from the blower than the outlet port and the communication port, the air flow containing raindrops scattered from the blower can be suppressed from flowing from the air outlet toward the communication port in the second passage. Further, since the communication port is disposed at the lower portion of the first passage extending in the vertical direction, the airflow including the raindrops can be suppressed from rising in the first passage by gravity. Further, since the first passage and the second passage are perpendicular and the exhaust port is arranged above the communication port, the flow path of the air flow is diverted a plurality of times to increase the pressure loss, thereby further suppressing the entry of raindrops. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a failure of the electrical system of the circuit board, which is caused by the entrance of raindrops into the electrical installation box through the outlet port.
Further, according to the outdoor unit of an air conditioner of the present invention, the heat exchanger and the electrical installation box are fixed by fitting the flat portion, at which the refrigerant pipe is fixed to the end portion, into the groove portion extending in the vertical direction, the groove portion being provided in the peripheral wall of the electrical installation box. At this time, the bent portion bent in an L shape from one end of the flat portion is engaged with the engagement portion of the electrical installation box, thereby reliably fixing the heat exchanger and the electrical installation box. This can improve the assembling workability.

The outdoor unit 10 has a rectangular parallelepiped casing 11, and the casing 11 has an upper panel 11U disposed on the upper portion and a bottom panel 11D disposed on the bottom portion. A front panel 11F is disposed on the front side of the peripheral surface of the case 11, and a rear panel (not shown) is disposed on the rear side. Further, a left side panel 11L is disposed on the left side, and a right side panel 11R is disposed on the right side. Both the left side panel 11L and the right side panel 11R are formed in an L shape as viewed from above, and a part thereof is bent to the back.
A blow-out port 12 is opened in the center of front panel 11F of case 11, and grid 12a is attached to blow-out port 12. A rear air inlet (not shown) is formed in the rear plate, and a left air inlet 11LS is formed in the left side plate 11L. The right side plate 11R has a right side air inlet 11RS opened in a part of the rear surface side. Left side air inlet 11LS and right side air inlet 11RS are formed in a grid shape.
A heat exchanger 24 is provided upright along the rear surface inside the casing 11. Both ends of the heat exchanger 24 are bent, and the heat exchanger 24 is formed in a substantially コ shape as viewed from above. The heat exchanger 24 is disposed to face the left side air inlet 11LS, the back air inlet (not shown), and the right side air inlet 11 RS.
Partition wall 13 is provided upright from bottom panel 11D to partition the interior of casing 11 into blower chamber 14 and compressor chamber 15. A blower 40 is disposed in the blower chamber 14 and in front of the heat exchanger 24. A compressor 41 is disposed in the compressor chamber 15.
An electrical installation box 50 is disposed above the casing 11 so as to extend across the blower chamber 14 and the compressor chamber 15. A circuit board 60 is housed in the electrical box 50, and the circuit board 60 is disposed so as to cover the open upper surface of the electrical box 50. The circuit board 60 is electrically connected to the blower 40 and the compressor 41, and controls the operation of the outdoor unit 10.
The internal wiring of the outdoor unit 10, which connects the circuit board 60 and the compressor 41, extends to the outside of the electrical equipment box 50 through a lead-out opening 51 facing the compressor chamber 15 provided in the side wall of the electrical equipment box 50. External wiring connecting the circuit board 60 and an indoor unit (not shown) extends to the outside of the electrical box 50 through a lead-out port 57 (see fig. 4) provided in a side wall of the electrical box 50, and is led out to the outside of the casing 11 through a wiring port 80 provided in the right side plate 11R.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged perspective view of one end of the heat exchanger 24. The heat exchanger 24 has refrigerant tubes 25 extending in the left-right direction (X1-X2 direction) and arranged in parallel at intervals in the up-down direction (Z1-Z2 direction). The refrigerant tube 25 is bent at both ends in the front-rear direction (Y1-Y2 direction) and fixed to the holding plate 26.
The holding plate 26 has flat portions 26a and curved portions 26b, and the refrigerant tubes 25 arranged in parallel in the vertical direction are held by the flat portions 26 a. One end of the flat portion 26a is bent into an L-shape to form a bent portion 26 b. The strength of the holding plate 26 can be improved by the bent portion 26 b. Further, a plurality of fins 25a extending vertically are fixed to the refrigerant pipe 25.
The electrical installation box 50 is provided with a protruding portion 60e, and the protruding portion 60e is constituted by a pair of ribs 60c and 60d protruding from the peripheral wall. The protrusion 60e extends in the vertical direction (Z1-Z2 direction), and a groove 60a is formed between the rib 60c and the rib 60 d. As described later, when the both side walls of the groove portion 60a are fitted to the flat portion 26a, they have a predetermined width in the left-right direction (X1-X2 direction) so as to be in surface contact with the flat portion 26 a. One rib 60d is bent into an L-shaped cross section to form an engagement portion 60 b.
During assembly, the electrical installation case 50 is inserted from above, and the flat portion 26a of the holding plate 26 is fitted into the groove portion 60a, thereby positioning the relative positions of the electrical installation case 50 and the heat exchanger 24. At this time, the engaging portion 60b engages with the bent portion 26b of the holding plate 26, and prevents the holding plate 26 from falling off. Therefore, the assembling workability of the outdoor unit 1 is improved, and the groove portion 60a and the flat portion 26a are in surface contact to fix the heat exchanger 24, so that the heat exchanger 24 can be prevented from being deformed after being fixed.
Preferably, the lower end of at least one side wall of the groove portion 60a is formed by an inclined surface. The upper end of the flat portion 26a is slid along the inclined surface formed at the lower end of the side wall of the groove portion 60a, whereby the flat portion 26a can be easily fitted into the groove portion 60 a. This can further improve the workability of assembling the electrical box 50 and the heat exchanger 24.
Further, a plurality of (three in the present embodiment) protruding portions 60e are provided on the peripheral wall of the electrical installation box 50. Thus, the holding plate 26 is fitted into the groove portion 60a different from the groove portion 60a of the outdoor unit 1 of the plurality of models having different shapes of the heat exchanger 24, and the electrical installation box 50 can be shared.
When the blower 40 is driven, the suction force causes the outside air to flow into the blower chamber 14 through the left side air inlet 11LS, the back air inlet (not shown), and the right side air inlet 11 RS. The outside air flowing into the blower chamber 14 is heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 24, flows through the blower chamber 14, and is blown out from the outlet port 12 to the outside.
Fig. 3 and 4 are perspective views of the electrical installation box 50. A heat sink 52 is provided at a lower portion of the bottom surface of the electrical equipment box 50 so as to face the blower chamber 14, and the heat sink 52 is cooled by the airflow flowing through the blower chamber 14. Thereby, the inside of the electrical equipment box 50 is cooled by the radiator 52.
Two exhaust ducts 54 are provided at both ends of the electrical box 50 in the front-rear direction (Y1-Y2 direction). The exhaust duct 54 has an exhaust port 53 facing the blower chamber 14 and an outlet port 55 facing the inside of the electrical component mounting box 50. The exhaust port 53 is disposed in the peripheral wall of the electrical box 50. The electrical equipment box 50 communicates with the compressor chamber 15 through a lead-out port 51, and communicates the blower chamber 14 and the compressor chamber 15 through an exhaust duct 54. The inside of the electrical installation box 50 is also communicated with the outside of the outdoor unit 10 through the outlet 57.
The exhaust port 53 is provided with a shielding portion 53a that shields the blower 40 side. The exhaust port 53 is disposed further outward in the rotational axis direction (Y1-Y2 direction) of the blade 40 than the front and rear ends of the blade of the blower 40.
Fig. 5 and 6 are a perspective view and a top cross-sectional view illustrating the exhaust duct 54. The exhaust duct 54 has a first passage 54a extending in the up-down direction (Z1-Z2 direction) and a second passage 54b extending in the left-right direction (X1-X2 direction). The first passage 54a has an outflow port 55 opened at an upper end thereof and a communication port 56 opened at a lower portion of the peripheral wall thereof. Further, the first passage 54a and the second passage 54b are communicated through the communication port 56. The second passage 54b is provided with an exhaust port 53, and the exhaust port 53 is disposed above the communication port 56 and further away from the blower 40 than the outlet port 55.
Air flowing into the electric installation box 50 from the outlet ports 51, 57 flows into the exhaust duct 54 through the outlet port 55 by suction generated by driving of the blower 40. In the exhaust duct 54 in front, the airflow flowing from the outflow port 55 descends in the Z2 direction in the first passage 54a (arrow a1), and changes its direction forward (Y1 direction) and flows into the second passage 54b through the communication port 56 (arrow a 2). Subsequently, the air is raised in the Z1 direction toward the air outlet 53, and is changed in direction to the right (X1 direction) (arrow A3), and is discharged to the fan compartment 14 through the air outlet 53. The airflow flowing into the rear exhaust duct 54 is also discharged to the fan compartment 14. This allows air to flow through the electrical box 50, thereby improving the cooling effect of the circuit board 60.
On the other hand, when strong wind pressure is applied to air outlet 12 in rainy weather and air blower 40 is reversed, suction force does not act in electric box 50, and raindrops are scattered from air blower 40. At this time, the shielding portion 53a shielding the blower 40 side suppresses entry of raindrops from the air outlet 53. Further, since the air outlet 53 is disposed on the outer side in the rotation axis direction than the front and rear ends of the blades of the blower 40, entry of raindrops from the air outlet 53 can be further suppressed.
Further, the exhaust port 53 is disposed farther from the blower 40 than the outflow port 55 and the communication port 56. Therefore, the airflow including the raindrops scattered from the blower 40 can be suppressed from flowing from the exhaust port 53 to the communication port 56 in the second passage 54 b. Further, since the communication port 56 is disposed at the lower portion of the first passage 54a extending in the vertical direction, the airflow including raindrops can be suppressed from rising in the first passage 54a by gravity. Further, since the first passage 54a and the second passage 54b are perpendicular and the exhaust port 53 is disposed above the communication port 56, the flow path of the airflow is diverted a plurality of times to increase the pressure loss, thereby further suppressing the entry of raindrops. Therefore, raindrops can be prevented from entering the electrical installation box 50 through the outlet port 55.
According to the present embodiment, the first passage 54a of the exhaust duct 54 having the outlet 55 at the upper end communicates with the second passage 54b through the communication port 56 provided at the lower portion, and the exhaust port 53 is disposed farther from the blower 40 than the outlet 55 and above the communication port 56. This can prevent the airflow including raindrops scattered from the blower 40 from flowing through the first duct 54a and the second duct 54b, and can prevent raindrops from entering the electrical component box 50 through the outlet port 55.
Further, since the exhaust port 53 is disposed on the outer side in the rotational axis direction than the front and rear ends of the blades of the blower 40, raindrops scattered from the blower 40 are suppressed from entering from the exhaust port 53. Therefore, raindrops can be further prevented from entering the electrical installation box 50.
Further, since the shielding portion 53a that shields the blower 40 side is provided at the exhaust port 53, raindrops scattered from the blower 40 are suppressed from entering from the exhaust port 53. Therefore, raindrops can be further prevented from entering the electrical installation box 50.
One end of the flat portion 26a of the refrigerant pipe 25 arranged in parallel in the vertical direction is held, and the heat exchanger 24 is positioned by fitting it into a groove portion 60a extending in the vertical direction, the groove portion 60a being formed between a pair of ribs 60c, 60d protruding from the peripheral wall of the electrical installation box 50. The bent portion 26b is bent in an L-shape from one end of the flat portion 26a fitted in the groove portion 60a, and the engaging portion 60b engages with the bent portion 26b of the holding plate 26, thereby preventing the holding plate 26 from falling off. Therefore, the heat exchanger 24 is fixed by bringing the groove portion 60a and the flat portion 26a into surface contact with each other while improving the assembling workability of the outdoor unit 1, and therefore, deformation of the heat exchanger 24 after fixing can be prevented.
Further, by forming the lower end of at least one side wall of the groove portion 60a with an inclined surface, the upper end of the flat portion 26a can be slid along the inclined surface formed at the lower end of the side wall of the groove portion 60 a. This makes it possible to easily fit the flat portion 26a into the groove portion 60a, and thus to improve the workability of assembling the electrical box 50 and the heat exchanger 24.
< second embodiment >
Fig. 7 and 8 are side and plan views of the outdoor unit 10 according to the second embodiment. In addition, the same portions as those of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted. In the second embodiment, the exhaust duct 84 is provided at both ends in the front-rear direction (Y1-Y2 direction) of the electrical component box 50 in addition to the exhaust duct 54 as compared with the first embodiment.
The exhaust duct 84 has an exhaust port 83 facing the blower chamber 14 and an outflow port 85 facing the inside of the electrical equipment box 50. The outlet 85 is disposed at the left end of the electrical box 50, and the exhaust port 83 is disposed closer to the blower 40 than the exhaust port 53. The blower chamber 14 and the compressor chamber 15 are communicated with each other through the exhaust duct 84, and the airflow (arrow B1) flows through the electrical equipment box 50, whereby the cooling effect of the circuit board 60 can be further improved. Further, since the outlet 85 is disposed at the left end portion of the electrical box 50, the circuit board 60 can be cooled down to the end portion.
Further, by disposing the air outlet 83 farther from the blower 40 than the outlet 85, the airflow entering the air outlet 83 from the blower 40 is decelerated in the exhaust duct 84, and raindrops reaching the outlet 85 are reduced. This can prevent raindrops from entering the electrical box 50.
< third embodiment >
Fig. 9 is a side view of the electrical installation box 50 of the third embodiment. In addition, the same portions as those of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted. In contrast to the first embodiment, the third embodiment is such that the exhaust port 53 is formed by a plurality of small circular holes arranged in parallel in the vertical and horizontal directions. Further, as the exhaust port 53 is distant from the blower 40 in the left-right direction (X1-X2 direction), the number of rows in the up-down direction (Z1-Z2 direction) increases, and the opening area increases. This ensures the exhaust amount, and prevents raindrops from entering through the exhaust port 53 because the area of the exhaust port 53 close to the blower 40 is small.
