Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1 to 9, a Type C electrical connector 100 of the present invention is a sinking plate Type USB Type-C female connector, for being mounted in an opening of a circuit board (not shown) for being butted with a butting connector (not shown), and includes a first body 10, a butting terminal 20, a metal middle spacer 30, a metal shell 40, a second body 50, a connecting terminal 60, and two grounding pieces 70.
The first body 10 includes a first insulating block 11, a second insulating block 12, and an outer insulator 13. Meanwhile, the housing 10 includes a main body 14 and a tongue 15 protruding forward from the main body 14, and both sides of the middle partition 30 protrude from the tongue 15 for locking with the mating connector. The second body 50 includes a connection portion 51 and a step portion 52 protruding rearward from an upper end of the connection portion 51, the connection portion 51 includes a top portion 511, a bottom portion 512, two opposite side portions 513 connecting the top portion 511 and the bottom portion 512, and a receiving hole 515 located between the top portion 511, the bottom portion 512 and the two side portions 513, the receiving hole 515 has an assembly hole 516 located at a front end. The step 52 is higher than the bottom 512.
The connecting terminals 60 and the grounding plate 70 are assembled or insert-molded on the second body 50 to define the connecting seats 65, and the number of the connecting terminals 60 and the number of the opposite terminals 20 are the same, and the two are in contact with each other.
