Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a handover decision method and apparatus for a group call UE.
Background
The private network broadband trunking system based on the Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) technology can maximally meet basic service requirements of different industries and different networking scenes, and is more and more widely concerned.
When a connected mobile UE device (UE) moves to a cell edge, a signal of an original cell becomes weak, a signal of a new cell becomes strong, and in order to ensure service reception, a radio bearer needs to be switched to the new cell through a switching procedure to continue a service. The TD-LTE switching mainly comprises S1 switching, X2 switching, intra-base station cell switching and intersystem switching. And the base station performs switching judgment by combining a corresponding algorithm strategy through the measurement report of the UE. When a Radio bearer is established, a base station issues a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection reconfiguration RRC connection reconfiguration message to a UE, where the RRC connection reconfiguration message includes a Measurement Configuration message for controlling a Measurement process of a connected UE. And after receiving the Measurement Configuration message, the UE detects signals of the serving cell and the neighboring cell, and reports the Measurement result to the base station through a Measurement Report message according to the Measurement Configuration and the reporting rule. The base station judges whether the UE needs to be switched or not by combining an algorithm according to the measurement report of the UE, and selects the base station or the cell to be switched if the UE needs to be switched.
The specific mechanism of the cluster system is as follows: the calling UE is released, and the cluster group is released. Thus, the stability of the cluster-calling UE determines the stability of the cluster group in a sense. However, not all core networks and base stations support trunking services. According to the existing switching judgment, if the calling UE is switched to a base station which does not support the trunking service, even if the UE is successfully switched, the trunking service channel corresponding to the calling UE cannot be successfully established, so that the trunking service is released, and all members in the group cannot receive the trunking service. Often, the number of group UEs is not one or two, and may be ten, hundreds, or even thousands. The more the number of UEs in the group, the greater the impact caused by the release of the trunking service, and the more complaints. Therefore, it is very important that the handover of the group calling UE is successful or not.
In summary, in the prior art, the handover decision method of the UE cannot determine whether the base station to be handed over supports the trunking service, and if the UE is the trunking main call UE, the UE is handed over to a base station that does not support the trunking service, which easily causes that the UE in the group cannot continue the trunking service in the target cell.

Detailed Description
The embodiment of the invention provides a switching judgment method and a switching judgment device for cluster calling UE, which are used for improving the probability that the cluster calling UE can be successfully switched to a base station supporting a cluster function, so that the UE in a cluster can continue to perform cluster group service in a target cell, and the stability of the group service is improved.
Aiming at the characteristics of cluster group calling, when a base station carries out switching judgment, under the original judgment scene, a judgment condition is added: if the UE is the trunking calling UE, only the cell of the base station or the base station supporting the trunking service is selected to switch when the switching judgment is carried out.
The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present invention is explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for determining handover of a group calling UE device, on a source base station side of the group calling UE, where the method includes:
s101, when a source base station of cluster calling UE determines that the UE needs to be switched among base stations, the source base station judges whether a target base station to be switched supports cluster services;
and S102, the source base station performs inter-base station switching operation on the UE according to the judgment result.
The source base station of the cluster main call UE determines that the UE needs to perform inter-base station handover, and may be configured to determine whether to perform inter-base station handover according to a measurement report and by combining a corresponding algorithm policy when the source base station of the cluster main call UE receives the measurement report reported by the UE.
Preferably, the source base station determines whether the target base station to be switched supports the trunking service, and specifically includes the following two situations:
(1) when an X2 interface exists between the source base station and the target base station, the source base station sends a Setup Request message to the target base station, then receives a Setup Response message sent by the target base station, acquires the capability information of whether the target base station supports the trunking service, and judges whether the target base station supports the trunking service according to the capability information.
Wherein, the Setup Response message carries capability information whether the target base station supports Trunking service (Trunking If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 1.
TABLE 1
(2) When no X2 interface exists between the source base station and the target base station, the source base station receives an MME Configuration conversion message sent by a Mobility Management Entity (MME), acquires the capability information of whether the target base station supports the trunking service, and judges whether the target base station supports the trunking service according to the capability information; the information indicating whether the target base station supports the trunking service is acquired by the MME through a base station Configuration Transfer message sent by the target base station and carried in the MME Configuration Transfer message.
Wherein, the MME Configuration Transfer message and the eNB Configuration Transfer message respectively carry capability information whether the target base station supports a Trunking service (trunk If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 2.
TABLE 2
Preferably, the handover decision method further includes: and the source base station sends information whether the source base station supports the trunking service to the target base station.
Preferably, the sending, by the source base station, information whether the source base station supports the trunking service to the target base station specifically includes: and the source base station sends the information whether the source base station supports the trunking service to the target base station by establishing a Request Setup Request message.
Wherein, the Setup Request message carries capability information whether the source base station supports Trunking service (Trunking If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 3.
TABLE 3
Preferably, the handover method further includes: and the source base station acquires the group to which the UE belongs and the indication information of whether the UE is the calling UE from a Mobility Management Entity (MME).
Preferably, the obtaining, by the source base station, the group to which the UE belongs and the indication information of whether the UE is the main call UE from the mobility management entity MME specifically include: and the source base station receives a radio access bearer establishment Request E-RAB Setup Request message sent by the MME, and acquires a group to which the UE belongs and indication information of whether the UE is a calling UE.
Wherein, the E-RAB Setup Request message carries the group identifier (TrunkingGroup ID) of the UE and information of whether to call the UE (if Original call). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 4.
TABLE 4
Therefore, when the source base station of the UE determines that the UE needs to perform inter-base station handover, the source base station performs a handover decision: the source base station sends information carrying the information for indicating whether the source base station supports the trunking service to a target base station needing to be switched, and receives the information carrying the information for indicating whether the target base station supports the trunking service sent by the target base station, and the source base station judges whether the target base station supports the trunking service according to the information carrying the information for indicating whether the target base station supports the trunking service. If the judgment result shows that the target base station does not support the trunking service, the source base station continuously repeats the process and interacts information whether the target base station supports the trunking service with other target base stations needing to be switched until the target base station supporting the trunking service is judged, and at this moment, the UE and the target base station supporting the trunking service perform inter-base station switching operation. The above-mentioned sequence of the source base station interacting the information whether each supports the trunking service with the different target base stations is carried out in sequence according to the priority list of the target base station which needs to be switched.
Or, without being limited to the foregoing, the source base station may simultaneously interact with multiple target base stations that need to be handed over, the information whether each of the target base stations supports the trunking service. If the judgment result shows that only one target base station supporting the trunking service exists, the UE and the target base station supporting the trunking service perform inter-base station switching operation; and if the judgment result shows that a plurality of target base stations supporting the trunking service exist, selecting the target base station to be switched from the target base stations supporting the trunking service according to the priority list.
When the source base station of the cluster calling UE completes the switching judgment and determines to perform inter-base station switching operation with a target base station supporting the cluster service, the method comprises the following steps:
if the target base station to which the UE is switched does not have the cluster group channel of the group, but the target cell to which the UE is switched has the cluster group channel of the group, the core network initiates a cluster context establishment flow of the corresponding group, sends a cluster paging message and informs the cell of cluster group service establishment. And then, aiming at the calling UE, initiating the establishment flow of the cluster calling bearer.
If the target base station to which the UE is switched has the cluster group channel of the group, but the target cell to which the UE is switched does not have the cluster group channel, the core network issues a cluster context modification flow of the group, and the target base station initiates an establishment flow of the cluster group call channel of the target cell after receiving the modification message. The core network sends a cluster paging message to inform the cell of cluster group service establishment. And then, aiming at the calling UE, initiating the establishment flow of the cluster calling bearer.
If the target base station and the target cell to which the UE is switched have the cluster channel of the cluster group, the core network initiates the establishment flow of the cluster calling bearer for the calling UE.
Under the three conditions, the successful switching between the UE base stations can be realized through the steps, and the UE in the group can continue the cluster group service in the target cell.
The worst case is that, through the switching judgment of the source base station of the cluster main call UE, the base station which does not support the cluster service can be switched, and the cluster main call UE must perform the switching operation due to the signal deterioration, and only one base station which does not support the cluster service can be selected according to the priority list for switching. In this case, after the UE reaches the target cell, since the target base station to which the UE is handed over does not support the trunking service, the corresponding trunking main call service is only forced to be terminated, which finally results in a handover failure.
Correspondingly, on the target base station side to which the cluster main call UE needs to be switched, referring to fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for deciding handover of the cluster main call UE, including:
s201, a target base station of UE needing to be switched among base stations determines whether the target base station supports information of trunking services;
s202, the target base station sends the information to the source base station.
When the target base station needs to interact with other base stations to determine whether the target base station supports the information of the trunking service, the target base station interacts with other base stations to determine whether the target base station supports the information of the trunking service by adding an IE in a Setup Response message and/or an eNB Configuration Transfer message, wherein the IE is used for indicating whether the target base station supports the information of the trunking service, and at the moment, the target base station can determine whether the target base station supports the information of the trunking service.
Preferably, the handover decision method further includes: and the target base station acquires the information whether the source base station of the UE supports the trunking service.
Preferably, the obtaining, by the target base station, information whether the source base station of the UE supports the trunking service specifically includes the following two situations:
(1) when an X2 interface exists between the target base station and the source base station, the target base station receives a Setup Request message sent by the source base station, and acquires information whether the source base station supports the trunking service.
Wherein, the Setup Request message carries capability information whether the source base station supports Trunking service (Trunking If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 5.
TABLE 5
(2) When there is no X2 interface between the target base station and the source base station, the target base station receives an MME Configuration conversion MME Configuration Transfer message sent by a mobility management entity MME, and acquires information of whether the source base station supports the trunking service from the MME, where the information of whether the source base station supports the trunking service is acquired by the MME through a base station Configuration conversion eNB Configuration Transfer message sent by the source base station and carried in the MME Configuration conversion eNB Configuration Transfer message.
Wherein, the eNB Configuration Transfer message and the MME Configuration Transfer message respectively carry capability information whether the source base station supports a Trunking service (trunk If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 6.

Preferably, the target base station sends the information whether the target base station supports the trunking service to the source base station, and specifically includes two cases:
(1) when there is an X2 interface between the target base station and the source base station, the target base station sends the information whether the target base station supports the trunking service to the source base station by establishing a Response Setup Response message.
Wherein, the Setup Response message carries capability information whether the target base station supports Trunking service (Trunking If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 7.

(2) When no X2 interface exists between the target base station and the source base station, the target base station sends the information whether the target base station supports the trunking service to a Mobility Management Entity (MME) through a base station Configuration conversion eNB Transfer message, and the MME sends the information whether the target base station supports the trunking service to the source base station through an MME Configuration conversion MME Transfer message.
Wherein, the eNB Configuration Transfer message and the MME Configuration Transfer message respectively carry capability information whether the target base station supports Trunking service (trunk If Support). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 8.
TABLE 8
Preferably, the handover method further includes: and the target base station acquires the group to which the UE belongs and the indication information of whether the UE is the calling UE from a Mobility Management Entity (MME).
Preferably, the target base station obtains, from a mobility management entity MME, the group to which the UE belongs and the indication information of whether the UE is a calling UE, specifically including the following two situations:

I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 9.

(2) When the UE performs S1 handover between base stations, the target base station acquires a group to which the UE belongs and indication information whether the UE is a calling UE from the MME through a handover request HandoverRequest message.
Wherein, the Handover Request message carries the group identifier (TrunkingGroup ID) of the UE and information of whether to call the UE (if Original call). I.e. adding message attributes (IE/Group) on the basis of the prior art, the definition of the IE/Group can be seen from table 10.
