Abstract
The invention discloses an edge polishing device with a protecting baffle plate. The edge polishing device with the protecting baffle plate comprises a base (1), a polishing plate (2), an adjusting arm (3) and the protecting baffle plate (4). A through hole is formed in the base (1) along a central axis direction; a rotation shaft is arranged in the through hole; the polishing plate (2) is arranged on the top end of the rotation shaft in a sleeving way; the bottom end of the rotation shaft is connected with a spindle of a drive motor so as to enable the drive motor to drive the polishing plate (2) to rotate by adopting a self-central axis as an axle; one end of the adjusting arm (3) is movably riveted on the base (1) and can be fixed through a stop bolt, and the other end of the adjusting arm is connected with the protecting baffle plate (4), so that the protecting baffle plate (4) can be shielded between eyes of an edge polishing operator and an edge polishing parts through rotatably adjusting the adjusting arm (3), wherein the protecting baffle plate (4) is made of transparent plastics. The edge polishing device with the protecting baffle plate is simple in structure and convenient to use, and can effectively prevent edge polishing chippings from splashing into the eyes so as to ensure the safety of the edge polishing operator.

Technical Field
The invention relates to an edging processing device, in particular to an edging device with a protective baffle.
Background
The edge grinding operation is a main process for corner processing of a semi-finished metal piece in the industrial production process.
The existing edge grinding machine has the advantages that the edge grinding operation is convenient and fast, fragments can splash into eyes in the edge grinding process, and the damage which is difficult to compensate is caused to the body health of an edge grinding operator.
Therefore, it is urgently needed to provide an edge grinding device with a protective baffle plate to effectively prevent splashed fragments from entering eyes and ensure the safety of an edge grinding operator.

one end of the adjusting arm is movably riveted on the base and can be fixed through a limiting bolt, the other end of the adjusting arm is connected with the protective baffle, and the protective baffle can be shielded between eyes of an edging operator and the edging piece by rotating the adjusting arm; wherein,
the protective baffle is made of transparent plastic.
Preferably, the adjustment arm is a metal gooseneck.
Preferably, the adjusting arm comprises a plurality of metal gooseneck pipes which are sequentially sleeved end to end, and two randomly connected metal gooseneck pipes are fixed through fastening bolts.
Preferably, the bottom of the base is also provided with a lifting mechanism, and the lifting mechanism can change the horizontal height of the base through stretching.

the protective baffle 4 is made of transparent plastic.

The above-mentioned elevator may be any one of the apparatuses commonly used in the art that can be lifted to adjust the horizontal height, but from the viewpoint of energy saving, environmental protection and long service life, it is preferable that the lifting mechanism is a cylinder, and the top end of the telescopic rod of the cylinder is connected with the base 1.
Because the shape and the volume size diverse of the different work piece of treating, in order to change the suitable protection baffle 4 of size in order to improve the efficiency of edging operation in actual course of working fast conveniently, preferably protection baffle 4 detachably installs on adjusting arm 3.
The detachable mounting means may be any one of detachable connections commonly known in the art, and may be a snap connection, and may be a latch connection, but it is preferable that the detachable mounting means is a screw connection from the viewpoint of improving stability after mounting.

3. Edging device with protective stop according to claim 1, characterized in that the adjusting arm (3) comprises a plurality of metal gooseneck tubes sleeved end to end in sequence, any two of which are fixed by fastening bolts.
4. Edging device with protective stop according to claim 1, characterized in that the base (1) is also provided, at its bottom, with a lifting mechanism able to vary the level of the base (1) by extension and retraction.
5. Edging device according to claim 4, characterized in that said lifting means are cylinders, the top end of the telescopic rod of which is connected to said base (1).
6. Edging device with a protective shutter according to claim 1, characterized in that said protective shutter (4) is removably mounted on said adjusting arm (3).
7. An edging arrangement according to claim 6, characterised in that the removable mounting means is a threaded connection.
