Abstract

The rapid connector comprises an inner bushing and two outer hoop sleeves, wherein the outer diameter of the inner bushing gradually becomes larger from the two ends to the middle part; the left and right ends of the inner bushing are inserted in the nonmetallic composite pipe; the inner bushing slightly stretches the inner diameter of the nonmetallic composite pipe in contact with the inner bushing; the outer loop sleeves are tubular; the inner diameters of the outer loop sleeves gradually become larger from one ends to the other ends; the outer loop sleeves sleeve the nonmetallic composite pipe in which the inner bushing is inserted, and tightly press the nonmetallic composite pipe and the inner bushing; and the ends, with larger inner diameters, of the outer loop sleeves are close to the middle part of the inner bushing. Detailed Description
The invention designs a technical scheme of a quick joint for connecting non-metal composite pipes, and the quick joint mainly comprises an inner bushing 1 and an outer hoop 3. When the joint is connected, the lubricating sealing grease coated on the contact surface passes through, and the inner bushing and the outer hoop sleeve are pressurized to complete sealing when matched; meanwhile, the pressure generated when the inner bushing and the outer hoop are matched with each other and the deformation friction of the nonmetal composite pipe can ensure the certain axial load resistance of the joint.

The inner liner can be made of a material which is resistant to media damage (corrosion/abrasion) and has considerable strength.

The length (width) of the steel pipe is 1.0 time of the outer diameter of the nonmetal composite pipe; the minimum inner diameter is +2mm of the outer diameter of the non-metal composite pipe, so that the outer hoop can smoothly penetrate through the non-metal composite pipe, and the inner diameter of the rest part is designed and determined according to the size (outer diameter) of the inner bushing and the wall thickness of the non-metal composite pipe; the outer diameter of the outer hoop sleeve is determined by the minimum thickness of the outer hoop sleeve, so that the outer hoop sleeve is matched with the inner sleeve to generate contact pressure at the non-metal composite pipe to form sealing, and meanwhile, the friction force generated by the contact pressure ensures that the joint bears the axial load capacity.
(3) Connecting-quick joint application of non-metal composite pipe
A, cutting and leveling the pipe orifice of a nonmetal composite pipe to be connected, and ensuring good verticality between the plane of the pipe orifice and the axis of the pipe; meanwhile, the reinforcing layer in the composite pipe is protected by adopting proper measures, for example, for the non-metal composite pipe reinforced by the steel wire rope, after the pipe orifices are cut to be even, the steel wire rope part can be sealed by adopting epoxy coating to prevent the corrosion damage of the part;
b, sleeving the thin-wall end of the outer hoop on the nonmetal composite pipe towards the orifice of the nonmetal composite pipe;
c, performing proper (brushing/grinding) treatment on the inner surface of the nonmetal composite pipe to be connected, and performing proper (brushing/grinding) treatment on the outer surface of the inner bushing;
d, respectively coating proper lubricating sealing grease on the to-be-connected part of the inner surface of the pipe end of the nonmetal composite pipe and the to-be-connected part of the outer surface of the inner bushing;
e, molding the nonmetal composite pipe, and strongly inserting the treated end of the inner bushing into one end of the treated nonmetal composite pipe by using a proper tool to form a certain taper at the pipe end of the nonmetal composite pipe, wherein the lubricating and sealing grease has the functions of: the lubricating function is realized in the insertion and pressing process, and the reinforcing and sealing function can be realized after the insertion and pressing process is finished;
f, carrying out proper (brushing/grinding) treatment on the outer surface of the nonmetal composite pipe, and carrying out proper (brushing/grinding) treatment on the inner surface of the outer hoop sleeve;
respectively coating proper lubricating sealing grease on the to-be-connected part of the outer surface of the end of the nonmetal composite pipe and the to-be-connected part of the inner surface of the outer ferrule;
h, under the condition that the relative position of the inner bushing and the nonmetal composite pipe is kept still, the outer hoop sleeve is axially pressed to the end of the nonmetal composite pipe to move by using a proper tool and stops after a design load is reached, and the lubricating and sealing grease has the functions of: the sleeve pressing process plays a role in lubrication, and the sleeve pressing process can play a role in reinforcement and sealing after the sleeve pressing process is finished;
i, completing connection with the other end according to a-h;
j, adopting proper corrosion protection measures for the exposed part of the inner lining and the outer hoop sleeve to complete the connection of the nonmetal composite pipe.
