Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the invention, its application, or uses. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Aiming at the problem that in the cross coverage area of multiple operator networks with the same frequency and the same technical standard, if network signals of other operators are stronger than the network signals of an operator of the network, the terminal cannot use the network service, the inventor proposes to search the network in the same frequency point according to the sequence from strong to weak of the signal strength, when the network with the strongest signal is a legal network, the terminal resides in the legal network, and when the network with the strongest signal is not the legal network, the terminal continues to search the network at the same frequency point according to the sequence from strong to weak of the signal in the frequency point, so that in the area where the signal strength of other operators is stronger than the operator of the network, the user of the network can still use the network service, and the user experience is improved. The mobile network search scheme is explained in detail below.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a mobile network searching method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes:
and step S102, the terminal sequentially searches the network on a frequency point according to the sequence of the signal intensity from strong to weak, and judges whether the searched network is a legal network.
And step S104, if a legal network is searched on the signal of the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal resides in the legal network.
And step S106, if no legal network is searched on the signal with the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal continuously searches the legal network on the signal with the next strength of the frequency point.
In step S102, the terminal may determine whether the searched network is a legal network by using the following method, which specifically includes:
the terminal reads the broadcasted system information from the searched network and extracts the Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) information of the network from the system information; the terminal judges whether the PLMN information extracted from the network is consistent with the PLMN information stored locally in the terminal, if so, the searched network is a legal network, and if not, the searched network is not a legal network.
For example, when the mobile phone terminal searches for a mobile network, the mobile phone reads a broadcast system message from the searched network, and extracts PLMN information of the network from the system message, where PLMN is Mobile Country Code (MCC) + mobile network code (mobile network code, MNC), MCC in china is 460, MNC in china is 03, the PLMN stored in the mobile phone using the chinese telecommunication network is 46003, and if the PLMN extracted by the mobile phone from the searched network is also 46003, the network searched by the mobile phone is determined to be a valid network.
In addition, the terminal may further extract information of a system identification code (SID) or a network identification code (NID) of the network from the broadcasted system message, and the terminal determines whether the SID or NID information extracted from the network is consistent with SID or NID information locally stored in the terminal, and if so, the searched network is a legitimate network, and if not, the searched network is not a legitimate network.
An example of an application is listed below. Supposing that a certain frequency point comprises three signals, namely a signal A, a signal B and a signal C, wherein the strength of the signal A is greater than the strength of the signal B is greater than the strength of the signal C, and the network of the signal C is a legal network.
The terminal can search all networks on the current frequency point, and can also search only a certain number of signals on the current frequency point. For the latter case, before searching for the mobile network, a threshold of the number of signals to be searched on the same frequency point may be preset on the terminal. The signal quantity threshold can be set by the user at the terminal side, or set by the network side and issued to the terminal, so that unified management is facilitated. Wherein the signal number threshold may be set to 2 or 3, for example, but not limited to the illustrated example.
By specifying the threshold of the number of signals searched at the same frequency point, when the number of signals searched at one frequency point reaches the set threshold, the terminal stops searching at the frequency point, so that unnecessary searching can be avoided, and the terminal can save electric quantity.
If the terminal does not search the legal network on the current frequency point, the terminal can be switched to the next frequency point to continue network search. For example, the terminal may determine the frequency points for performing network search according to the order of the frequency points stored in a Preferred Roaming List (PRL). The following describes a mobile network searching scheme including determining a searched frequency point and switching the frequency point to continue searching in detail with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a mobile network searching method according to still another embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 2, in an aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, in addition to referring to steps S102, S104, and S106 in fig. 1, the following steps are included:
and step S200, the terminal determines the frequency points for network search according to the sequence of the frequency points stored in the priority roaming list PRL.
The PRL file stores information such as the system, frequency point and network priority of the network, the mobile phone reads the PRL file stored in the UIM card of the mobile phone, and network searching is carried out according to the sequence of extracting the frequency point of the terminal from the PRL file.
After step S200, steps S102, S104, and S106 may be executed, a valid network is searched for on the frequency point, and if the terminal does not search for a valid network on the frequency point, step S208 is executed to switch the frequency point to continue the search.
And step S208, if the terminal does not search a legal network on the frequency point, switching to the next frequency point for continuous searching.
According to another aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, a mobile network search terminal is provided, and referring to fig. 3, the terminal of the embodiment includes the following functional modules:
the network searching module 302 is configured to sequentially perform network searching on a frequency point according to a sequence from strong to weak signal strength, and determine whether a searched network is a legal network; and if no legal network is searched on the signal with the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal continuously searches the legal network on the signal with the next strength of the frequency point.
And a network residing module 304, configured to, if a legal network is searched for on the signal of the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal resides in the legal network.
In an embodiment, when determining whether the searched network is a legal network, the network searching module 302 is specifically configured to:
reading the broadcasted system message from the searched network, extracting the Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) information of the network from the system message, judging whether the PLMN information extracted from the network is consistent with the PLMN information locally stored in the terminal, if so, judging that the searched network is a legal network, and if not, judging that the searched network is not a legal network;
or,
and reading the broadcasted system message from the searched network, extracting a system identification code (SID) or a network identification code (NID) of the network from the system message, judging whether the SID or the NID extracted from the network is consistent with the SID or the NID locally stored in the terminal, if so, judging that the searched network is a legal network, and if not, judging that the searched network is not a legal network.
In one embodiment, a signal quantity threshold for searching on the same frequency point is set on the terminal.
In one embodiment, the network search module 302 may be further configured to: if no legal network is searched on the frequency point, switching to the next frequency point to continue network search.
In one embodiment, the network search module 302 may be further configured to: and determining the frequency points for network search according to the sequence of the frequency points stored in the priority roaming list PRL.
The embodiment of the invention sequentially searches the network on a frequency point according to the sequence of the signal intensity from strong to weak through the terminal, and judges whether the searched network is a legal network; if a legal network is searched on the signal of the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal resides in the legal network; if no legal network is searched on the signal with the current strength of the frequency point, the terminal continues to search for the legal network on the signal with the next strength of the frequency point, so that the user of the local network can still use the network service in the area where the signal strength of other operators is stronger than that of the local network operator, and the user experience is improved.
