信号分离器及AMOLED显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,具体地说,涉及一种信号分离器及AMOLED显示装置。
背景技术
有机发光二极管(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,简称OLED)具有自发光、结构简单、超轻薄、响应速度快、宽视角等优点,已被越来越多的应用于显示领域。有源矩阵有机发光二极管(Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode,简称AMOLED)显示装置属于主动式显示装置,已经广泛的应用于各类平面显示装置中。
在手机等小尺寸显示装置中,由于空间有限,为了节省数据驱动器的数量,或者为了减少是单颗集成电路芯片的输出端数目,通常会在数据驱动器中使用多路复用器(multiplexer)电路,使一个像素单元对应的红色、绿色、蓝色三种数据信号能够通过一个数据输出端输出。
在数据驱动器与像素单元阵列之间设置有信号分离器(de-multiplexer)。在对某一像素单元充电时,在栅线持续打开的过程中,信号分离器依次打开该像素单元对应的三条数据线,从而依次为该像素单元的红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素进行充电。
但是,当红色子像素充完电之后,向绿色子像素和蓝色子像素充电时,由于栅线是持续是打开的,所以红色子像素内的数据电压会因为对应的数据线上的杂散电容,以及对应的数据线关闭时的漏电流发生放电,使红色子像素内的数据电压偏低,导致显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种信号分离器及AMOLED显示装置,以解决现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
本发明提供一种信号分离器,包括第一开关、第二开关、第三开关,分别用于向一个像素单元中的第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素充电,且第一开关、第二开关、第三开关轮流打开;
对于同一个像素单元,所述信号分离器分别在三帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,首先打开第二开关,首先打开第三开关。
在第一种实施方式中,所述信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,然后打开第二开关,最后打开第三开关;

进一步的是,所述信号分离器的第一开关、第二开关、第三开关分别设置于三条数据线上,且分别对应于一个像素单元的第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素。
进一步的是,每个子像素中包括薄膜晶体管和像素电路;
所述薄膜晶体管的栅极连接相应的栅线,所述薄膜晶体管的源极连接相应的数据线,所述薄膜晶体管的漏极连接所述像素电路。
进一步的是,所述像素电路包括驱动晶体管、电容和有机发光二极管;
所述驱动晶体管的栅极连接所述薄膜晶体管的漏极,所述驱动晶体管的源极连接电源正电位,所述驱动晶体管的漏极连接所述有机发光二极管的正极,所述有机发光二极管的负极连接电源负电位;

进一步的是,所述数据驱动器中设置有补偿单元,用于补偿子像素中的数据电压损失。
优选的是,所述AMOLED显示装置通过CMOS工艺制成。
本发明带来了以下有益效果:本发明提供的信号分离器能够对一个像素单元中的三个子像素进行依次充电。在三个子像素依次充电的过程中,首先充电的子像素内的数据电压会降低。而本发明提供的信号分离器分别在三帧图像中,首先打开第一开关、第二开关、第三开关,则在这三帧图像中,第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素各有一次首先充电。这样,三个子像素都会发生数据电压降低,且降低的程度基本一致,而不会造成单一颜色的子像素内的数据电压严重降低,从而解决了现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。

以下将结合附图及实施例来详细说明本发明的实施方式,借此对本发明如何应用技术手段来解决技术问题,并达成技术效果的实现过程能充分理解并据以实施。需要说明的是,只要不构成冲突,本发明中的各个实施例以及各实施例中的各个特征可以相互结合,所形成的技术方案均在本发明的保护范围之内。
本发明实施例提供一种信号分离器,以及包括该信号分离器的AMOLED显示装置。该信号分离器包括第一开关、第二开关、第三开关,分别用于向一个像素单元中的第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素充电,且第一开关、第二开关、第三开关轮流打开。对于同一个像素单元,信号分离器分别在三帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,首先打开第二开关,首先打开第三开关。
本发明实施例提供的信号分离器能够对一个像素单元中的三个子像素进行依次充电。在三个子像素依次充电的过程中,首先充电的子像素内的数据电压会降低。而本发明实施例提供的信号分离器分别在三帧图像中,首先打开第一开关、第二开关、第三开关,则在这三帧图像中,第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素各有一次首先充电。这样,三个子像素都会发生数据电压降低,且降低的程度基本一致,而不会造成单一颜色的子像素内的数据电压严重降低,从而解决了现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
实施例一:
如图1所示,本发明实施例提供一种AMOLED显示装置,包括像素单元阵列1、栅极驱动器(图中未示出)、数据驱动器2、信号分离器3等部件。栅极驱动器通过若干栅线连接至像素单元阵列1,数据驱动器2通过若干数据线连接至像素单元阵列1。
如图1和图2所示,信号分离器3的第一开关T1、第二开关T2、第三开关T3分别设置于每三条数据线Data_R、Data_G、Data_B上,且分别对应于一个像素单元的第一子像素11、第二子像素12、第三子像素13。本实施例中的三个子像素分别以最为常见的红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素为例。
本实施例中,每个子像素中包括薄膜晶体管TFT和像素电路10。TFT的栅极连接相应的栅线Gate,TFT的源极连接相应的数据线,TFT的漏极连接像素电路10。
像素电路中包括驱动晶体管TR、电容C和有机发光二极管D。TR的栅极连接TFT的漏极,TR的源极连接电源正电位OVDD,TR的漏极连接有机发光二极管D的正极,有机发光二极管D的负极连接电源负电位OVSS。电容C的一端连接TR的栅极,电容C的另一端连接TR的源极。
作为一个优选方案,本实施例提供的AMOLED显示装置通过CMOS工艺制成,T1、T2、T3均为PMOS晶体管,TFT和TR既可以是NMOS晶体管,也可以是PMOS晶体管。T1、T2、T3的栅极连接信号分离器,使T1、T2、T3分别由信号分离器发出的控制信号EN_1、EN_2、EN_3控制其开关。
本实施例中,信号分离器以每三帧为一个循环周期,对各个像素单元进行充电。如图3所示,对于每个像素单元,信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开T1,然后打开T2,最后打开T3。则在该帧图像中,首先向第一子像素11充电,在之后向第二子像素12和第三子像素13充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第一子像素11内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第三子像素13充电时,第二子像素12内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开T2,然后打开T3,最后打开T1。则在该帧图像中,首先向第二子像素12充电,在之后向第三子像素13和第一子像素11充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第二子像素12内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第一子像素11充电时,第三子像素13内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开T3,然后打开T1,最后打开T2。则在该帧图像中,首先向第三子像素13充电,在之后向第一子像素11和第二子像素12充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第三子像素13内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第二子像素12充电时,第一子像素11内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
在这三帧图像中,第一子像素11、第二子像素12、第三子像素13各有一次首先充电,各有一次居中充电,各有一次最后充电。这样,三个子像素各发生了一次较大幅度的数据电压降低和一次较小幅度的数据电压降低,且降低的程度基本一致,而不会造成单一颜色的子像素内的数据电压严重降低,从而解决了现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
进一步的是,数据驱动器中还可以设置有补偿单元,用于补偿子像素中的数据电压损失。具体可以通过亮度测量,计算出各个灰阶平均减少的电压,并将此电压作为补偿电压的值。
实施例二:
本实施例提供的AMOLED显示装置与实施例一基本相同,信号分离器以每三帧为一个循环周期,对各个像素单元进行充电。其不同点在于,如图2和图4所示,信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开T1,然后打开T3,最后打开T2。则在该帧图像中,首先向第一子像素11充电,在之后向第三子像素13和第二子像素12充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第一子像素11内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第二子像素12充电时,第三子像素13内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开T2,然后打开T1,最后打开T3。则在该帧图像中,首先向第二子像素12充电,在之后向第一子像素11和第三子像素13充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第二子像素12内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第三子像素13充电时,第一子像素11内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开T3,然后打开T2,最后打开T1。则在该帧图像中,首先向第三子像素13充电,在之后向第二子像素12和第一子像素11充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第三子像素13内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第一子像素11充电时,第二子像素12内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
在这三帧图像中,第一子像素11、第二子像素12、第三子像素13各有一次首先充电,各有一次居中充电,各有一次最后充电。这样,三个子像素各发生了一次较大幅度的数据电压降低和一次较小幅度的数据电压降低,且降低的程度基本一致,而不会造成单一颜色的子像素内的数据电压严重降低,从而解决了现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
实施例三:
本实施例例提供的AMOLED显示装置与实施例一、实施例二基本相同,其不同点在于,如图2和图5所示,本实施例中的信号分离器以每六帧为一个循环周期,对各个像素单元进行充电。
信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开T1,然后打开T2,最后打开T3。则在该帧图像中,首先向第一子像素11充电,在之后向第二子像素12和第三子像素13充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第一子像素11内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第三子像素13充电时,第二子像素12内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开T2,然后打开T3,最后打开T1。则在该帧图像中,首先向第二子像素12充电,在之后向第三子像素13和第一子像素11充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第二子像素12内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第一子像素11充电时,第三子像素13内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开T3,然后打开T1,最后打开T2。则在该帧图像中,首先向第三子像素13充电,在之后向第一子像素11和第二子像素12充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第三子像素13内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第二子像素12充电时,第一子像素11内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第四帧图像中,首先打开T1,然后打开T3,最后打开T2。则在该帧图像中,首先向第一子像素11充电,在之后向第三子像素13和第二子像素12充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第一子像素11内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第二子像素12充电时,第三子像素13内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第五帧图像中,首先打开T2,然后打开T1,最后打开T3。则在该帧图像中,首先向第二子像素12充电,在之后向第一子像素11和第三子像素13充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第二子像素12内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第三子像素13充电时,第一子像素11内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
信号分离器在第六帧图像中,首先打开T3,然后打开T2,最后打开T1。则在该帧图像中,首先向第三子像素13充电,在之后向第二子像素12和第一子像素11充电时,由于栅线Gate持续打开,会使第三子像素13内的数据电压降低。此外,在向第一子像素11充电时,第二子像素12内的数据电压也会小幅降低。
在这六帧图像中,第一子像素11、第二子像素12、第三子像素13各有两次首先充电,各有两次居中充电,各有两次最后充电。这样,三个子像素各发生了两次较大幅度的数据电压降低和两次较小幅度的数据电压降低,且降低的程度基本一致,而不会造成单一颜色的子像素内的数据电压严重降低,从而解决了现有技术中存在显示图像的颜色失真的技术问题。
虽然本发明所公开的实施方式如上,但所述的内容只是为了便于理解本发明而采用的实施方式,并非用以限定本发明。任何本发明所属技术领域内的技术人员,在不脱离本发明所公开的精神和范围的前提下,可以在实施的形式上及细节上作任何的修改与变化,但本发明的专利保护范围,仍须以所附的权利要求书所界定的范围为准。

Claims (10)

1.一种信号分离器,包括第一开关、第二开关、第三开关,分别用于向一个像素单元中的第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素充电,且第一开关、第二开关、第三开关轮流打开;
对于同一个像素单元,所述信号分离器分别在三帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,首先打开第二开关,首先打开第三开关。
2.根据权利要求1所述的信号分离器,其特征在于,
所述信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,然后打开第二开关,最后打开第三开关;
所述信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开第二开关,然后打开第三开关,最后打开第一开关;
所述信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开第三开关,然后打开第一开关,最后打开第二开关。
3.根据权利要求1所述的信号分离器,其特征在于,
所述信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,然后打开第三开关,最后打开第二开关;
所述信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开第二开关,然后打开第一开关,最后打开第三开关;
所述信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开第三开关,然后打开第二开关,最后打开第一开关。
4.根据权利要求1所述的信号分离器,其特征在于,在连续的六帧图像中:
所述信号分离器在第一帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,然后打开第二开关,最后打开第三开关;
所述信号分离器在第二帧图像中,首先打开第二开关,然后打开第三开关,最后打开第一开关;
所述信号分离器在第三帧图像中,首先打开第三开关,然后打开第一开关,最后打开第二开关;
所述信号分离器在第四帧图像中,首先打开第一开关,然后打开第三开关,最后打开第二开关;
所述信号分离器在第五帧图像中,首先打开第二开关,然后打开第一开关,最后打开第三开关;
所述信号分离器在第六帧图像中,首先打开第三开关,然后打开第二开关,最后打开第一开关。
5.一种AMOLED显示装置,包括像素单元阵列、栅极驱动器、数据驱动器,以及如权利要求1至4任一项所述的信号分离器;
所述栅极驱动器通过若干栅线连接至像素单元阵列,所述数据驱动器通过若干数据线连接至像素单元阵列。
6.根据权利要求5所述的AMOLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述信号分离器的第一开关、第二开关、第三开关分别设置于三条数据线上,且分别对应于一个像素单元的第一子像素、第二子像素、第三子像素。
7.根据权利要求6所述的AMOLED显示装置,其特征在于,每个子像素中包括薄膜晶体管和像素电路;
所述薄膜晶体管的栅极连接相应的栅线,所述薄膜晶体管的源极连接相应的数据线,所述薄膜晶体管的漏极连接所述像素电路。
8.根据权利要求7所述的AMOLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述像素电路包括驱动晶体管、电容和有机发光二极管;
所述驱动晶体管的栅极连接所述薄膜晶体管的漏极,所述驱动晶体管的源极连接电源正电位,所述驱动晶体管的漏极连接所述有机发光二极管的正极,所述有机发光二极管的负极连接电源负电位;
所述电容的一端连接所述驱动晶体管的栅极,所述电容的另一端连接所述驱动晶体管的源极。
9.根据权利要求5所述的AMOLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述数据驱动器中设置有补偿单元,用于补偿子像素中的数据电压损失。
10.根据权利要求5所述的AMOLED显示装置,其特征在于,所述AMOLED显示装置通过CMOS工艺制成。
